Me: Since I'm sick of doing this disclaimer, I'm putting up a rotating schedule of my favorite anime characters. This time I got the beautiful Orihime from Bleach.

Orihime: Ohayo, Aqua-sensei.

Me: Ohayo, Hime-chan. How's Ulqui-chan and Korri- kun?

Orihime: They're doing fine, but Ulqui-chan is sad because they won't bring him back to the story line yet... but he really spoils our son! The two of them together are so cute!

Me: Glad to hear it. Now if you please...

Orihime: Oh, my bad. Aqua-sensei doesn't own Naruto or Bleach. (under her breath) If she did I would have had my wedding to Ulqui-chan already. (normal voice)

The two shinobi stared at the door. Sasuke really wished he could teleport right then. Naruto felt his stomach hit the floor. 'Oh, kami, she heard.'

Hinata's hand still gripped the broken pieces of glass from the cup she had crushed. There was a dark energy pouring from Hinata. Her pupil-less, silver eyes shone with her rage. The Hyuuga heiress's entire body trembled. She said only one thing, but her voice held such venom in it, that the two males had to fight the urge to flinch. "Get out."

"Hinata, I-" Naruto tried.

"Get out!"

Sasuke took a moment to read the atmosphere. He walked to Hinata's side, patting Hinata's shoulder. "You know where to find me."

With that the Uchiha left. Hinata turned the full powere of her glare on Naruto, "Is something wrong with your hearing? I said get out!"

Naruto swallowed hard before he responded. "No."

"WHAT?!" she bellowed. "Do you really think I want to play this game with you right now? GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

Hinata's rage hit Naruto like a wrecking ball. Part of him wanted to shrink back, but he held his ground. "Not until we talk."

"And why would you want to talk to someone who doesn't matter?" she screamed, showing just how much Naruto had hurt her as her tears mixed with her rage.

Naruto felt even worse. He hated that he caused her beautiful face to be stained by tears. He wanted so badly to wipe away the trails falling down her cheeks. He wanted to make her smile or blush, not cause her pain. "I didn't mean that."

"Yes, you did," she accused, "you didn't care about how I would feel. It was only Sakura you were worried about, but why should I be surprised? It's always her. She's never cared about you like I have, but she's the one you want."

Naruto couldn't argue with her.

"Do you know that all I've ever wanted to do is just be yours?" her voice broke. "Even if it was only for one day, I would give anything to be loved by you."

Naruto just couldn't take it anymore. He didn't want to make her cry anymore. He wanted to make her smile brightly, to hear her laugh musically, to make her happy. He reached out and took hold of both of her arms. Hinata immediately tried to pry her arms away, but he held onto them tightly. He fell to his knees before her. "I know you probably don't want to hear this from me, but please listen to what I have to say."

"Naruto, let go of me."

"Please, don't cry," he begged. "Yell at me, scream, hit me, I don't care. Just please don't cry."

"WHY THE HELL DOES IT MATTER TO YOU?!" Hinata screamed as she managed to break loose of his grip. "I'M NOT THE SAKURA THAT YOU LOVE SO MUCH. BREAKING MY HEART SHOULD BE EASY FOR YOU!"

"But I don't want to hurt you," he said.

"Kami, you just don't get it, do you?" she shook her head in anger, making strands of her long midnight hair fall onto his head. "Or maybe Sasuke's right. Maybe you just think I want to spend the rest my life pining after you."

"Please just listen to me for a moment," he pleaded.

Hinata glared at him for a moment. "I refuse. Now, get out before I kick you out myself."

"Hinata..."

"Just go," she sighed angrily. "It doesn't matter how angry I get with you; I'll forgive in the end. I always do, but for now, just let me throw a fit."

Naruto looked into Hinata's eyes, trying to believe that she could forgive him. Hinata's eyes, although still somewhat affected by her rage, were sincere. That relieved him to some extent, but it also left a nagging feeling in his heart. Just how many times would he continue to hurt her? Would he ever be able to see her smile at him again? He rose to his feet, staring deeply into her eyes in hopes that his sincerity would get across to her. "I am so sorry Hinata."

"Just stop-!" Hinata raised her fist but caught herself. Her fist shook in the air for a moment before she brought it down weakly against his chest. "Stop apologizing, baka."

Hinata averted her eyes from Naruto's face. Knowing he could say nothing else, Naruto walked out.

Naruto walked down the streets of the village, regretting his words. He hated himself even more for meaning it. By no means did he want to hurt Hinata, but if he could make Sakura happy in even the smallest way, he would drop everything to do just that. Nothing else mattered.

But what Sasuke said bothered him. Was he being strung along? He knew Sakura didn't feel the same way he felt about her, but he had always thought that she cared about him to some extent. He never thought Sakura would be the kind of person to use a guy for attention. She was kinder than that, and they had been through too much together for her to think of him that way. Right?

As Naruto walked home to his apartment, all the while the question nagged at his mind. He was shocked when he came home to find a visitor at his door. "Sakura? What are you doing here?"

The pink haired girl looked up from where she was sitting in front of the door. She gave him a weak smile. "I was waiting for you, Naruto."

Naruto's heart almost skipped a beat, but he didn't dare let himself hope. He responded slowly, "You've been waiting...for me."

"I wanted to talk to you," she said as she stood up, dusting off her bottom. "Can I come in?"

Naruto thought about the state of his apartment. It was in no condition to let anyone see it, let alone his crush. "Yeah, but give me a minute to clean up."

"Okay," she smiled at him again.

Naruto went through his apartment, making it look somewhat decent. When he finished stuffing dirty clothes into the bottom of his closet, he rushed to let in Sakura. Only, he found a scene he wasn't expecting.

"Let go of me, Lee!" Sakura said, trying to snatch her arm away. "I told you, it's over."

"I can't accept that," Lee said, looking more serious than anyone had ever seen him before. "I can't accept that everything we did together meant nothing to you!"

"Lee," Sakura sighed, sounding exasperated, "I told you from the start I wasn't going to love you. It just felt nice being wanted for once. All we did was sleep together, I don't understand why you're being so clingy." When she noticed Naruto, she looked relieved. She didn't see the dark look tugging at the edge of his face.

"So, you're just gonna make me a notch in your belt? Is Naruto your next target? Are you just a common whore now?" Lee had never looked so angry before. "You're a heartless bitch!"

"Glad you get," she replied, wrapping her arms around Naruto. "Now, if you would please get lost." She gave Naruto a sickeningly sweet smile. "Shall we?"

"Don't touch me."

Sakura blinked, sure that she heard wrong. "What?"

"I said, 'Don't touch me,'" he repeated, grinding his teeth so he didn't scream the words. He stared at Sakura with such disgust that the girl literally shivered. "Let go of me. Now."

Sakura did as she was told, surprised by this side of Naruto. Naruto's body shook with rage. When he saw Sakura, he could no longer see the beautiful flower he loved. She was tainted. The scenes played across his mind against his will. He could see Lee caressing her, kissing her...the way he had always dreamed of doing. The image made him sick to his stomach. He pinched the bridge of his nose, and sighed. He couldn't believe how shitty his day had become in the span of a few hours. He shook his head and turned back on Sakura. "Get as far away from me as you possibly can and stay there. I don't want to see your face."

Sakura stood there in shock. Naruto felt himself losing control of himself. "Did I stutter? Get lost, slut!"

Sakura's eyes welled with tears, but Naruto couldn't bring himself to give a damn. For the first time in a long time, as Sakura ran away from his apartment, Naruto didn't feel the need to chase after her. But boy did he really want a drink.

Yep. Next chapter may contain a lemon. Haven't decided yet, but I'm forecasting a 75% chance of smut for next chapter. Read and Review.
