A/N In this chapter you'll see Jade is more a 'Daddy's Girl' this would be before she started to rebel against her parents opinions.
Beck could still remember Jade's reaction to him saying he loves her. She frowned in confusion then smiled. Beck could not of been happier, finally she knew how he felt. Well at least that was what Beck thought.
"I love you too, I mean your my best friend." Beck's heart sank.
He had been friendzoned once again. But now Beck was 13, a man basically he thought, so he could have a better chance. It was Saturday and he had made plans with Jade. He said to her how he really needs help with his art project and maybe she could help? Jade said she'd come over at ten. It was 9:57 and Beck was ready, in fact he had been ready for hours. The doorbell rang, Beck ran to get it.
"Hey Jade!"
"Hi" Beck led Jade up to his room where he had his art stuff out.
"So uh...any ideas?" The two sat down on Beck's bed.
Jade frowned, "You don't even have an idea?" Beck nodded.
The two started to brainstorm and eventually came up with an idea. As they worked Beck kept taking quick little glances at Jade.
"Um, can I ask you something?"
Jade looked up from the project, "Sure, what's up?"
"Do you..y'know like me?" he could feel his palms getting sweaty as he was nervous.
She paused, "In what way?"
"Like as in 'boyfriend material'?" Jade laughed, "Maybe."
Beck sighed in relief. "So like do you wanna go out?"
First Jade smiled and Beck thought it would be a yes but the smile faltered. "I can't."
"Why not?"
"My dad is seriously strict on stuff like that." She bit her lip nervously.
Beck had met her dad, he knew she was telling the truth.
"What if I can convince him?"
Jade sighed, "Not possible."
Gradually over the next half an hour Beck had formed a plan to convince Jade how much he wanted to be with her.
When she left Beck went up to his dad's study.
"Hey Dad."
looked up from his paperwork, "Hi, everything okay?"
"Yeah." Beck picked up a letter off the desk. It was from the hospital that worked at as a doctor. He had been trying to convince Beck of becoming a doctor but Beck had no interest.
"The thing is...I need some cash."
"For what exactly?"
Beck paused, he tried to think of something that would infuriate his father. "Cigarettes"
turned livid, he started to lecture Beck about all the different types of cancer he could get and how it was illegal and eventually grounded him for six months. Beck just laughed, "As if."
"You are under my roof, my rules."
"Not for long." Beck left his dad's study.
A Few Days Later...
Beck explained his plan to Cat and Andre.
"Oh My God, this is confusing!" Cat shook her head.
"Okay look, basically I created as much trouble in my house as possible-"
Cat interrupted, "Why?"
"Because then my dad would force me out of the house!"
Andre shook his head at his friend, "That was the worse plan ever."
"Let me finish! Okay so this one time my dad was working in the hospital and one of his patients was Fat Biscuit and he mentioned he was selling his R.V real cheap."
Cat and Andre nodded their heads, "Still confused."
Beck sighed, "Okay, I-got-my-dad-to-buy-it-so-I-wouldn't-cause-anymore-trouble."
"Why?"
Beck groaned in frustration."So then-"
"Hey y'guys." Jade sat down beside Beck. "What are we talking about?"
As Andre was about to explain Beck kicked him under the table.
