Author's note: Ok, I know this story is super old and I haven't updated for years, but I felt like coming back to it today, so enjoy! (Also I hope my writing has gotten better since then cause I was reading the old chapters and all I can say is yikes)

Raven flew and flew for as far as she could manage. The black wings of her soul-self spanned across the night sky, blocking out the stars and casting a faint shadow on the ground far below. Though her exterior seemed calm, her emotions were close to boiling point; about to spill out uncontrollably. With every fiber of her being she fought to keep them at bay, to push them back down and bury them deep inside her. The tried to clear her mind, but was overcome with the deafening noise inside get head. Instead, she decided to shift her focus to something else. She let her mind wander to the book she had been reading a few days ago. She hadn't been able to finish it yet, with all the hubbub that had been happening around the tower. Understanding dreams was something Raven wanted to get better at because dreams seemed to reveal the deepest emotions of people; emotions they may not even know they feel. As an empath, Raven could sense and alter the emotions of those around her, but she often had trouble understanding these emotions. Her own emotions had been stifled for so long that she was beginning to lose touch with why people feel certain things, and she certainly didn't understand herself any better. Why had she suddenly lost control when Robin mentioned Jericho? What was that emotion...she couldn't tell, and just like that she was thinking about exactly what she was trying to avoid. Reaching a cliffside she let herself down onto the edge, and reverted back to her corporeal form. She felt her shoulders shaking as she looked over the city, but didn't realise she was crying until a tear dropped from her cheek onto chest, soaking in to her dark leotard.

Meanwhile, Starfire had heard Robin's cries and rushed to his rescue. Using her superhuman strength she pried the doors apart, freeing Robin's injured foot.

"Oh Robin," she whispered "how has this happened?"

With his face scrunched up in pain, Robin spoke through gritted teeth.

"Rae...she...she got angry," he winced.

"Raven did this to you?" Starfire furrowed her brow. She lifted Robin and began carrying him towards the living room.

"I'm sure she didn't mean to… I upset her...but I'm not sure how," he professed, "I hope she's ok…"

"You should not be doing the worry for her Robin! She pained you!"

"I know...but you know she wouldn't have done that unless she was really upset…" Robin looked up into Starfire's blazing eyes.

"Star, please go look for her," he pleaded.

"And be leaving you like this?" she shook her head, "no no Robin, I will not."

"Please Star, you guys have become to close over the years, you might be able to help," she looked away from his gaze, towards his injury. "plus, the other titans can help me with my foot," he added.

Starfire's lips twisted to the left side of her face and pouted while she considered the proposal.

"Well… alright," he said, "I'll get the others in here to give you the first of aid"

"Thanks Star," Robin smiled through his pain, "and hey, don't tell the others what happened yet ok? We don't don't need them all freaking out about Rae...plus she'd be embarrassed if she found out everyone knew."

Starfire nodded, then kissed Robin on the forehead before calling the other Titans to the living room. Once she was sure they were taking care of Robin's foot, she set off to find Raven, though she was unsure where to even start.
