A/N: It's been way too long since I've updated this story and in general and I apologize for that. The good thing is that I've got so many new ideas for this story, it's crazy. If you haven't noticed, I've started naming chapters, something I haven't done before and it's quite interesting finding a single word or phrase to name a chapter. I don't know why I haven't done it before. Anyways, ENJOY! :D

Everyone looked at Carlos in slight shock before Kendall started to stutter. "U-Um, I-I, Uhh..."

"When a person like me finds their mate, they must commit to each other and learn certain things before they can, um, show each other how much they mean to each other. From that they will have a child." James told Carlos and he smiled.

"Oh." Carlos said, looking down at Madison. Carlos knows where babies come from he just didn't know if the process was different here than back on Earth. "So, did she…you know, come from you?" Logan was a deep shade of red as he nodded his head. "Did it hurt?" "No, James was there to comfort me." "Oh." "I want to also point out that the birthing process is completely different then what they do on Earth." "But you're a boy."

"Exactly." Logan said, confusing Carlos. "Guys here can give birth just like women because we're special and the process is a little different."

"How is it?"

"I actually can't tell you. You'll have to see yourself."

"But can you at least tell me what's different about giving birth?"

Logan looked at Kendall because he knew he couldn't tell this information to someone who isn't his mate. Kendall sat down on the bed in front of Carlos and handed Madison back to Logan before he grabbed Carlos' hands.

"The birthing process is something that is painless and filled with so much love. When a baby is ready to be born, there will be a sign signaling everyone. Then both parents must go to the place of conception. From there, the one with child will have to say a few words. Once the words are spoken, their mate can careful pull the child from the womb. In order for this to happen without endangering everyone involved, there has to be pure love in the atmosphere. No baby will come into the world without absolute love."

"What about doctors?" Carlos asked.

"There is no need for doctors. There won't be any cutting or ripping or pushing. All of those things are an Earth thing which isn't a peaceful process which is why the baby comes out crying."

"So you'll just pull the baby from their stomach."

"It's more of a phasing through the womb into the arms of a loved one."

"Oh, it sounds very peaceful."

"I've been told it is." Kendall said, looking at his two friends and their baby. Dak came walking into the room and smiled at the couple on the bed.

"I'd hate to break up this love fest but-"

"That never stops you." Kendall said, turning to look at his advisor.

"There isn't time for this back and forth. We have a lot of important things that need to be discussed."

"About what exactly?"

"About the dinner."

"We've already spoken enough about the dinner. I don't think this is the proper time." Kendall told his advisor.

"We have to discuss how we're going to get Carlos' parents and his friends into the dinner." Dak said and Carlos instantly smiled at the man standing in the doorway.

"Really?"

"As much as it's going to pain me, yes. I have never seen Mother Nature be so mean and I have this strange need to show her that you're not how she thinks you are."

"But she's going to see them at the dinner, right?"

"Yes but she won't dare make a scene, so we'll wait until after dinner to face the consequences."

"Dak, this is a side I've never seen before." Kendall said, smiling.

"Like I said, I have faith in your mate. He's going to be the one to prove her wrong."

"That makes me really nervous." Carlos said, fiddling with his fingers.

"Why?" Kendall asked, stopping Carlos by grabbing his hands.

"Because if I mess this up then so many people are going to get in trouble."

"You're going to do great. I'm sure of it."

"Yeah and no one can do as bad as Logan did during his dinner."

"Gee, thanks James." Logan said, rolling his eyes.

"What happened?" Carlos asked and Logan sighed while James smiled.

"Logan embarrassed himself by spilling his food all over him. Then when he got up, he hit the table, knocking over a few people's glasses. Then he-"

"James!"

"Alright, I'll stop there." Kendall smiled at his two friends before he turned to his mate.

"Don't worry, Carlos. If anything goes wrong, I'll be there to stop it with my powers before anyone notices."

"Thank you." Carlos said before the doors to their bedroom opened and in walked Katie.

"Hey, Katie!" James said as the girl walked in the room.

"James!" Katie hugged the brunette before hugging his mate and their child.

"How have you been?"

"It's been great…being a guardian." Katie said, smiling.

"No way!"

"Yes, way! I'm Carlos' guardian."

"That's so awesome." James said, giving her a high five.

"Alright guys, we have to get back to the main problem." Dak said, getting everyone's attention.

"We'll have to throw Mother Nature off in order for us to go to Earth and get all of Carlos' people to come here."

"How do you propose we do that?"

"Well, we are going to go on a tour of the worlds to announce that you've found your mate." Dak said and Carlos' jaw dropped as he looked between Kendall and Dak.

"We're going to go see other worlds?" Carlos asked, excitedly.

"Yup but I need a few days to get everything planned out before we start." Dak told him and Kendall couldn't help but smile at his advisor.

"I like this new you." Kendall said, hugging Dak.

"Alright, alright, I have to get going."

"Okay." Dak waved to everyone in the room before he left.

"This sounds really exciting." Logan said and Carlos nodded before he turned to Kendall.

"What are we going to do for now?"

"We are going to learn a few things before we begin packing for the trip. James and Logan can go let Katie know the news and hangout or something." Both of them nodded at Kendall's words before they left the room. Dak followed out after them and Carlos climbed off the bed. Kendall walked in front of him and just wrapped his arms around his mate. Carlos hugged him back but he was confused as to why Kendall suddenly wanted to hug him. When Carlos pulled away, he waited for Kendall to pull away and when he did, he had a smile on his face.

"I can't wait for you to feel this connection that we have."

"I do feel it."

"Not that, what I'm talking about is something that you won't be able feel until later. It's something that you will learn about later."

"Oh."

"Right now isn't the right time to discuss those things. But first, we're going to head down to the library."

"Why?"

"To learn about the different worlds we're going to be visiting." Kendall said, smiling at Carlos, knowing his mate was excited.

As Carlos walked into the library, he let out the biggest gasp he's ever done in his life. The library had a statue of the King reading in front of the double doors that Kendall and his mate walked through.

"This library has two floors. On the left, there is a room where you can see all of the worlds and there are plenty of books for us to read. I'll read a few of the books on some of the worlds and I want you to learn about their languages to help you learn quicker through the galbeum."

"Will I get to see what the worlds look like before we visit them?"

"When we head into the world room, I am going to show you the worlds and you'll learn through the galbeum again to save time."

"Oh."

As Carlos grabbed books off of the shelf, he had no idea where to begin. He sat all of the books on the table and there were eight thick books. When one of the books rose from the table, he looked over to see Kendall smiling at him. He grabbed the book and sat it in the middle, opening it. The title read, In Labium De Chryseum. He tried to figure out what it meant and before he turned the page it translated to, In the Language of Gold. As he turned the pages, he learned how to say certain words, using the pronunciation key.

The doors to the library opened and Mr. Snuggles came running in. He wagged his little tail when he got to Carlos and the boy couldn't help but smile as he leaned down to pick his guardian up. He pet the bear's head and rubbed its back as he read the words and their definitions. He found them very easy to learn because the words were similar to English. He flipped through the pages quicker than he thought and about an hour later, he was finished with the book. He looked at the books that he had left and when another book lifted off of the table, he looked over at Kendall and the blonde just smirked as he read his book.

Carlos grabbed the book and opened it and waited for the title of the book to turn to English and when it did, he gasped. The title read, The Language of Fairies. He was so excited that he sped through some of the words and by the end he got up and ran over to Kendall. Mr. Snuggles was right behind him as they ran over to where Kendall was. Carlos was about to speak but then he remembered he was in a library. He tapped Kendall and the blonde turned to him, smiling.

"Are Fairies real?" He asked him, excitedly.

"Yes, I'll tell you more when you're done learning about the other languages. I know them all so all you have to do is skim it and you'll start to learn them very fast." Carlos was so excited, he didn't know what to do with himself once he sat down. He grabbed another book and when he opened it, Mr. Snuggles jumped up in his lap.

"The Language of the Underworld." Carlos spoke out loud and Kendall gasped, using his powers to close the book and move it away from Carlos. Mr. Snuggles climbed onto the table and pushed another book towards Carlos.

"The Language of the Sea." Carlos read out and Mr. Snuggles nodded his head. As Carlos read through the book, he saw the different castles and kingdoms of the world all under water. The more he turned the pages, the more he got interested in this world. When he turned to the next page, he gasped seeing Mermaids on the page. Mr. Snuggles turned his head sideways out of curiosity and Carlos smiled, rubbing the bear's head.

"These are called Mermaids. They're part fish and part human." Carlos told him and the bear seemed to understand as the boy continued to read through the world. He almost screamed when he got to one part of the book where a mermaid showed up but it looked different, scarier. The world didn't have anything that sounded familiar to Earth besides it being underwater. Carlos was getting more and more excited at all of the different worlds he was learning about. When Kendall walked over to him, he jumped up out of his seat.

"Is it time?"

"Did you finish?"

"No." Carlos said, frowning.

"Well, I guess you'll slowly learn the language of the other worlds as I tell you more about them." Kendall said, smiling when Carlos smiled again. Kendall grabbed Carlos' hand and led him through the tall bookcases to a door with no handle.

"Pay attention to the movements just in case you want to come back here." Kendall placed both hands on the door before vines grew down from the top of the door. Kendall moved the vines along the door to form what looked like a tree trunk with a hole in the middle. The vines slowly turned from green to black before the middle of the tree glow a dark shade of green. Kendall looked over at his mate to see him staring at the glowing light. Kendall moved his hands in front of the glow and spoke, "Aditus natura mundi concedere tur voces." When Kendall moved his hands to the sides, the door followed by splitting in half, opening. The room was entirely black and Kendall grabbed Carlos' hand as they walked in.

"Let the words of nature grant the access to world viewer." Carlos whispered, trying to make sure he remembered. Kendall smiled down at his mate before the doors closed, making Carlos jump.

"This room is different than the observatory because the observatory can only give you what's on the surface. This room goes beyond that." Kendall said before the scenery around them changed from all black to a tropical rain forest. Carlos gasped when he looked up and saw a monkey sitting in the tree. He smiled and waved to the monkey and the monkey smiled and waved back.

"Carlos, I-"

"Look, it's a monkey."

"Oh, hello." Kendall said to the primate before he grabbed his mate's hand again. When Carlos turned back to Kendall he saw some hug animal looking at them from the shadows. The whole room went dark again before they found themselves on a pier near a beach.

"Kendall, what's going on?"

"This room changes from time to time but we're here for specific reasons so I wish it would just load up the different worlds we need to look at." Kendall said before several pedestals rose up from the water just off the pier on the side. Carlos watched in amazement as a little orb showed up on each pedestal before they grew three times bigger.

"What are those?"

"These are the worlds we'll be going to." Kendall walked up to the first one and reached out, touching the pedestal. The scenery around them changed and Carlos looked around at the gold buildings.

"This is the planet known as Chryseum." Kendall said, grabbing Carlos' hand.

"Everything that is gold on Earth came from this planet. It was put in the soil to make it rich and fertile for humans to grow plants faster but they dug it up and gave it monetary value." Carlos felt bad about that but he couldn't do anything about it since it happened in the past. A woman walked around the corner of one of the buildings and Carlos gasped when he saw her.

"Oh, everyone here is dressed in gold. They are also the reason for certain things being gold because this planet rarely gives away gifts." Carlos looked down at his armband and Kendall smiled.

"Yes, they're the reason why the armband turned gold. They allowed us permanent access to their minerals after we saved their planet from destruction."

"Is that why we're visiting them?"

"Yes, we honor every planet that helped Earth and our people by including them in our special ceremonies."

"Oh, that's nice. So does that mean everything that came from Earth is from different planets?"

"Most things, yes, but not all things."

"Most things?"

"Yes, like the ocean. It was taken from this world." Kendall said before the whole room changed and they were floating over water.

"I don't see any land."

"There isn't any, remember what you read."

"Yeah…but that means…are we going to see mermaids?!" Carlos asked excitedly and Kendall smiled as he nodded. The room changed again and they were under water. Carlos gasped in amazement before he grasped his throat.

"Don't worry, you're still breathing air. When we get there, we will be changed in order to adapt to the land."

"What does that mean? Are we going to grow gills on our neck or something?"

"No, nothing like that. We'll just eat something and we'll be able to breathe underwater."

"That sounds so cool."

"You think this is cool? Wait until you see the underwater kingdom in person."

"We can't see it here?"

"No, their laws strictly forbid us from seeing their kingdom while using this."

"Aww."

"Don't worry, it'll be one of the most beautiful things you've ever seen once we get there, I promise."

"Isn't the last place we go the land with the fairies?"

"Well, we'll actually be going to this world last since their effects take time to wear off."

"So we'll be visiting the fairies second."

"Yes, which is this world." Kendall said before the room changed again. Carlos looked around and saw nothing but nature all around him. They were currently standing under a tall oak tree and in front of them were fields of tall grass that lead to a bunch of flowers. Carlos could even see some water in the distance.

"Where are the fairies?" Carlos asked and Kendall smiled.

"They're all around us. We just aren't small enough to see them. Just give the room a second before…" Kendall said, right before they started getting smaller. As they shrunk, Carlos started seeing the fairies working all around them. Once they stopped, Carlos couldn't stop smiling. Everything that his parents told him wasn't real was actually real, well not exactly everything but this was still something.

"Now, these aren't the same fairies that you see in the movies. Everyone here isn't nice and I need you to remember that about every world we go to." Kendall told him.

"There are people who are accepting of us and love when we visit but there are also people who don't want us there. When we go to these worlds, I need you to stick by me at all times." Carlos nodded his head at Kendall's words before he saw something flying towards them.

"Kendall, what is that?"

"That's something you'll see when we get there." Carlos sighed when the room changed back to black and the door opened.

"Kendall, we need your help with a few things."

"What is it Dak?"

"We need to figure out a way to stop on Earth before your dinner." Kendall followed his advisor out the door and back into the library.

"Why can't we just stop there before coming here?" Kendall asked.

"Because your mother will be watching our every move the second we start our journey." Dak told him and Kendall let go of Carlos' hand and clenched his fists. Carlos watched as vines began to appear on Kendall's hands in the place of his veins and he wondered if that would happen to him. He wondered if Logan went through changes since they were both from Earth.

"Wait…" Carlos said, thinking.

"What?" Dak asked him as Kendall seemed to calm down.

"What about James and Logan?"

"Carlos, that's brilliant." Kendall said, hugging his mate before he gave him a kiss. Carlos couldn't help but blush as Kendall asked Dak where James and Logan were.

"They're in the gardens right now."

"Well, let's not just stand here." Kendall said before he grabbed Carlos' hand. They headed to the nearest exit before Kendall sprouted his wings. He held onto Carlos as Carlos held onto Mr. Snuggles before he flew up high in the sky to see where James and Logan were. Carlos was so distracted by how beautiful the whole castle looked that he wasn't even looking for the couple.

"There." Kendall said before he dived into the North West gardens. He slowed down to a stop in front of James and Logan, who looked a little surprised by Kendall and Carlos' sudden appearance. When they landed, Mr. Snuggles jumped out of Carlos' hands and ran into the flowers.

"What's up?" James asked as Logan walked up with Madison, who was holding a butterfly.

"We need your guys' help." Kendall said.

"Sure, anything."

"We need you to go to Earth and bring Carlos' parents and friends here before the dinner."

"I thought you two were going to do that?" Logan asked before Dak stepped up.

"We were but Mother Nature will be keeping a close eye on them as they go to each world."

"Okay, we can do it but we need to know what they look like and where they live." James said after he looked at Logan.

"Oh, Dak will take care of that, right?" Dak rolled his eyes at Kendall's words before he nodded his head. Carlos wanted to ask Logan a question but before he could even get his words out Madison started to cry as the butterfly flew away. Logan grabbed her hand and held it in his before he removed his, revealing a new butterfly. Carlos' eyes widened in shock at the magical thing Logan just did.

"We actually have to get going, it's almost Madison's nap time." James said before their baby yawned.

"Alright, talk to you guys later." Kendall said, waving to the both of them. Carlos watched as James jumped in the air and sprouted his wings.

"He loves to show off." Logan said, rolling his eyes. Carlos gasped when Logan sprouted his wings and followed his mate off of the castle grounds.

"Carlos, are you okay?"

"I-" Carlos was at a loss for words.

If Logan has wings, then that means…

A/N: Don't scream but the idea of Carlos getting wings is something I've been thinking about for a long time. When I told one of my friends about the idea, they were so for it that they almost demanded that I put it in the story, so there's the little tease for it. Things are brewing for Kendall and Carlos and I'll try to update soon with their journey. REVIEW PLEASE! :D (Oh and tell me which world you're interested in reading more about).
