7. Don't be in a bedroom with him

"Sorry lady, the last jeep's going down." The rental owner sighed, frowning at Alice apologetically. "Yer teacher knew you're lost, but in case ye arrived here, he reserved a room fer ya, so ya can go back t'morrow." He shrugged with a wry smile.

Alice was gaping, and her body started to shiver. Ace chuckled beside her, clapping his hands.

"A room, eh?" the brunet snickered. "Well, isn't that lovely...?"

The mischievous pervert glanced to the dark blonde with a wink.

Alice inwardly banged her head to the nearby tree.

When will this all be over!?

"Ye wanna rent yer own room?" the rental owner looked surprised, rubbing his head.

"Yeah, I have enough money for that. One room please." Alice deadpanned while Ace whined behind her.

"Awww! No fun! No fun...Noooo fuuuun...How do we sleep together in different rooms!?" he hissed to her ear.

"My sentiments exactly." Alice hissed back, and turned to the old man with a begging stare. "One room, please?"

"Yeaw sure, why not, eh." The old man shrugged and handed a key for Alice, who turned, and then, fist-pumped.

"Yesss!" she hissed to herself and walked away from Ace, heading to her own room.

The brunet huffed boredly and slumped his shoulders.

"What is wrong with her...Jeez. She could sleep in the tents with me and not on bed together?" he thought in confuse, sighing and headed to his room. Alone now.

Ace whined and stuck his face to the window.

"...God I'm lonely."

Alice got out of the shower and dried herself, watching out of the window.

"Ah, spring tornado...?" the girl gulped, shivering a little. She wheezed and began to put on her clothes.

The dark blonde narrowed her eyes as she noticed something outside.

"Good Lord! People!?" she gasped and quickly ran out of her room. With bewildered stare around the room, she yelled;

"A tornado's outside!"

"Yeah, we knew—" she cut off the old man.

"And there's people!"

Ace raised his eyebrows, and the old man looked shocked. Alice scowled at Ace and snatched his coat.

"I'm borrowing this!" she said and hurriedly ran outside. Ace's eyes widened and chased her.

"Hey! Idiot! It's dangerous!" he screamed.

The brunet realized how severe the tornado was as he came in touch with the outdoor. His brown hair shuffled wildly, and he felt like going crazy to see that dark blonde fluttering wildly, running into the harsh wind.

"Idiot..." he growled and chased her.

For once, he thought he lost her. A tree was pulled from the ground by the tornado, and almost hit them. Ace ducked in time, but he wasn't sure about Alice's well being.

"Goddamn idiot...idiot, idiot, idiot." He gritted his teeth.

It felt like years he's standing there, trying to scan the crowded air of the mountain, trying to look past the tornado, trying to find the dark blonde. He almost lost his mind.

He's going to lose her.

"Idiot, idiot, idiot." He growled and clenched his fists, bracing his steps.

He won't.

"You're...Boris Airay, the scout leader." Alice said, surprised, and turned to the other guy. "St-Student Council President...Peter White...?"

They were sitting in the lobby, wrapped with towel and the fireplace burning. Ace was beside her, smiling at the two.

These fuckheads almost made him lost Alice, that's what he thought.

"We were pursuing you." Boris said, and sipped his hot water.

"Don't you prefer chocolate?" Alice asked.

"Ha, I'm allergic to chocolate." He smiled weakly. "Ironically, in the end, you pursued and saved us."

"How come you got lost like that?" Peter frowned. "Everyone was so worried. I felt really bad, it's my responsibility so I had to look for you as well."

Ace didn't miss her cheeks growing red, and she awkwardly looked down.

"I...I didn't think anyone would notice me." She said shyly. "Anyway..." she turned to the rental owner. "Can you give them a room?"

"I've got nothin' more, lady. Yer room was my last." He shrugged.

The dark blonde sighed. "Alright," she pulled her key and held it to Peter. "You guys should use my room."

"What about you?" Boris asked.

Alice glanced to Ace.

Ace, who was grinning widely.

~.X.~

"I had just taken a bath too..." Alice mumbled as she reluctantly stared at the shower. Ace dropped a dry towel and started to dry her hair.

"Come on, you got wet again, Princess. If you don't take a bath again, you'll get sick~" he sang cheerfully, and pushed her into the bathroom.

"D-Don't push me! Fine...fine...don't peek!" she warned, glaring at him.

"Hm?" Ace shrugged. "I didn't have the slightest idea. Now you're giving me one good idea." He smirked teasingly.

"Sh-Shut it...Don't you dare, Ace. I'll hate you so much if you do." Alice huffed shyly and entered the bathroom.

Ace chuckled and plopped himself down to the only bed in the room. He found Alice and those other unimportant boys, and he was really glad. However, he couldn't help the thought that he wanted to leave those bastards outside...

But on the good side, Alice had no choice but to share a room with him!

But still, those two bastards...he thought he almost lost her.

...In the bedroom with Alice, how sweet is that, though?

"Done." Alice sighed, coming out already clothed. Ace sighed in disappointment; she put on her clothes in the bathroom...if he knew she'd done this, he'd peek...

"Good, now let's rest." Ace said, comforting himself with a pillow, and patted the other pillow beside him. He chuckled when she blushed with wide eyes.

Alice stood before the bed awkwardly.

"I...I'll sleep on the floor." She deadpanned and ready to drop herself on the carpet.

"No, don't be silly~!" he laughed and pulled her up. "It's warmer here, with me~!"

"But..." the girl whined incoherently and sighed. "Oh yeah...Ace, thanks." She smiled wryly to him. "I'm always yelling at you...but you always helped me. I really thought I was going to die out there...Thank you again, for saving me."

Ace's gaze softened at her. He's always amused whenever she flinched and panicked at his antics...but whenever she's being sincere, he couldn't help but want more.

"Your so called 'thanks' does not satisfy Sir Ace, though, hahaha." Ace laughed and pulled her onto the bed, and she yelped in surprise.

"Whoa—"

She bounced once, and he rolled on top of her, straddling her petite body, smirking.

"I was so angry, for your information. So angry...so scared..." he gazed into her eyes with an angry scowl. "I thought; what the hell!? I thought I was going insane..."

Alice bit her lower lip, and his eyes fixated on that tempting gesture; how would it feel...if he bite that lip? What kind of taste is she?

"You're so stupid, Alice Liddell." He chuckled, and pressed his forehead to hers.

"Sorry...I'm sorry." Alice sincerely said, knowing that Ace was really worried; thanks couldn't satisfy him.

"Stupid, stupid idiot." Ace closed his eyes, frowning angrily. "Idiot, idiot, idiot...Don't do that again, you're very idiot." He whined, holding her shoulders. "You're an idiot. Very idiot person."

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry for being an idiot. And I'm grateful for you to save me." Alice repeated weakly, not wanting to upset Ace further, but also too embarassed by the current position. "C-Can you please back off? Too close...I'm..."

"Don't tell me to stay away." Ace hissed, opening his eyes. "If you don't like me...don't stay away from me." his tone was dark.

Alice frowned. "No, I never said that...I mean I didn't say I don't like you...But it's really too close! This is why I didn't want to be in the same room with you in the first place! With a bed!"

Ace pulled his face away, staring at her, dumbfounded.

A grin grew on his face, and he chuckled.

"Hahaha! You're realy so cute getting all embarrassed under me~!" he dropped himself on top of her, hugging her. "Mm, I really can't get away from you anymore now!"

"Aaargh, Ace, get off me! This is embarrassing! This...this is sexual harrasment!" she whined, trying to struggle under him. He's heavier, of course, and she's smaller. She sighed and gave up. "Ugh, fine...don't do anything weirder."

Ace turned his head to her. She wasn't looking at him, blushing. He lit up with a smile again.

"You mean...you'd share this bed with me?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Really? After going all the way to rent a room?"

"Yeah." She puffed her cheeks. "I trust you."

The red gazes turned gentle and longing again, and he began to snuggle his face to her neck.

"Eeep! Ace! What the—"

"You're my very important person, Alice. Very Important." He inhaled her scent, and closed his eyes. He sighed contendedly.

"I knew this day would've come." He chuckled and let her go, crawling to get his backpack.

Alice frowned in suspicion at him as Ace rummaged his backpack to get something.

"So I've come prepared...with this!" he proudly presented a small, square pack with round smiley face on the wrapper.

Guess what it is?

Hint:

"AAARGH GET AWAY FROM MEEEH!"

"Don't struggle, Alice~ Let me just...put this on me first—"

An unzipping voice.

"NO! KEEP YOUR PANTS ON!" Alice shrieked and tried to crawl away.

Ace blinked and smiled wider. "You wanna try put this on me and taking my pants off, then?" he waved the pack on her face.

"NOOOO!" she ran to bang the door. "This is why I don't want to be in a bedroom with you!"

Hopefully you can guess what's that mysterious 'little pack' now. Hohoho.
