Me: Okay, I AM SO FREAKIN' SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO GET UP! I'VE BEEN VERY BUSY BUT THAT'S PROBABLY NOT THE BEST EXCUSE EVER SO I'M SORRY! Anyway, now that I got that out, I need to tell you guys something. Go to the Fossil Fighters' wiki. Go to Lola's page. And be prepared to be horrified by what they did to her in the manga. I'll repost this at the end, and please tell me your reactions. I just stared at the picture for a few minutes, wondering why the heck they ruined her like that. Also, I'd like to thank MagmaRed SOOOOOOO much for telling me about this. So, thank you.
Also, I had to come up with Paul's outfit. He originally looked too much like Nile from Beyblade, so that took a while.
I tried to make this long to make up for the extremely long wait. I also think this is the best writing I've ever done (As in describing, not going too fast, etc.), so I hope you enjoy it.
Disclaimer: I don't own Fossil Fighters. I don't own Kyurem, who is owned by whoever made Pokémon, and Sailor Saturn is owned by Naoko Takeuchi (I hope I spelled that right), both of which are mentioned. Next, I don't own Vaati or Majora's Mask, who are owned by Miyamoto and Nintendo. World War Z belongs to whoever made it. I also don't own Azizacan, Arky, or Zurteska, who are all owned by DunalN2. I do, however, own Paul. Wow, there's a lot of references... -.-'
Chapter Seven: Zongazonga's Return, Part Two
-Dina's POV-
"No, it's not. And that's right... I am Zongazonga, king of the ancient Caliosteo Islands!"
I stared at him, not believing what I had heard. Zongazonga blew up. Rupert and I were both witnesses to his death. And now there's some guy telling me he's Zongazonga. I couldn't believe it.
"N-No... No way..." I said, still shocked. "I... I-I saw you... You blew up. You can't be back..."
"Well, I am." The man, or Zongazonga said, clearly amused by my reaction. "And this time, I won't loose."
Tro, who had been as shocked as I was, snapped at Zongazonga, who laughed before sending a wave of purple energy out, sending him back into his Dino Medal.
"TRO!" I yelled, bending down to grab his Dino Medal before turning to glare at Zongazonga.
"Aw, how cute. Your little fish thinks attacking me is a good idea. Anyway, I'm going to tell you something. Considering our plans, you guys don't stand a chance."
"Yeah, right! I beat you once, I'll beat you again!"
Zongazonga turned to face the side before continuing. "Or so you think. You saw what I did to your 'partner' there. Despite what you may think, that was not magic. That was pure power."
"Pure power?! How the heck was that pure power?! People can't do things like that unless they use magic."
Zongazonga chuckles before turning his head to look at me, the boat casting a shadow over his face, making him look creepy and his pale, purple eyes seemed to glow. "You may think that, but you are forgetting I can turn into a Zombiesaur, which fuels some of my natural power. The revival does the rest. Besides, you honestly have no chance of winning this time. I'm the only member of the three revivals at the moment. The second you find out who the other two are, you'll simply give up."
"In your dreams! The Patrol Team will never, I repeat, NEVER, give up! When all hope seemed lost, we never gave up! And, incase you forgot, that's what lead to your downfall. Not to mention we have the ones who defeated Guhnash! They never gave up either! So you're toast, Mr. Skull Boy!"
"Just wait. When the time comes you'll see. You don't stand a chance. Also, when you see what we have in store for your friends, it'll be worse then what I did to Todd."
"You told me you were joking!"
"Do you really think it would be safe to trust me on that? The rest of the stuff I'm not joking on."
"If you do something, I'll-"
"Look, as fun as this has been, I have to get back. We just wanted to make our reappearance known, and we clearly did that." He turns back to where everyone was fighting, before yelling, "TROOPS! We're done here!"
"You think you can just run?!" I asked, as the BBs started returning to the boats.
Zongazonga turns back to me, sighing. "I could stay, but we have important plans to get to, and I don't feel like staying. Have fun explaining this to your friends. Until next time, bye."
Then, to my surprise, he disappeared, more than likely teleporting away. And, for a second, saw a shadow, looking a lot like Pauleen, and a girl with long hair leave the area. The boats started to leave, and I was still standing there thinking about what happened. Even though there was plenty of proof, I just couldn't seem to grasp the fact ZZ was back. After everything we went through, he was back, just like that. Not to mention the shadow that looked like Pauleen and the girl with long hair. My thoughts were interrupted when everyone came running up to me, asking what the sudden retreat of the BBs was about.
"Dina, what the heck was that about?!" Todd asked as he and the others arrived. "The BBs just gave up."
"... He's back." I said, still staring at where he disappeared.
"Back? Who's back?" Dino asked, looking at me like I was insane, which I may have been. I couldn't really tell.
You're not insane, Dina. All of us heard what he said as well. Anubis said, sounding as shocked and confused as I was.
"Dina, who's back?" Rupert asked, getting impatient since I didn't answer Dino.
"ZZ." Was all I said.
Everyone was staring at me with the same expression I had when Zongazonga revealed himself to me.
"ZZ, as in Zongazonga?" Holt asked after a minute of silence. "You're kidding, right?"
"I'm sure she is." Todd said, sounding like he didn't believe what he was saying. "R-Right, Dina? I mean, he exploded. He can't be alive. R-Right?"
"'Fraid not, Todd. I wouldn't lie about something like this. He's back, and he seems more powerful than ever."
"Quit jokin', pard, and tell us the truth." Joe, who looked like he was annoyed, said.
I turned around to look at them and yelled, "I'm not lying! I'm telling the truth!"
"Well, it seems someone is going insane." Rosie said, looking away and sighing.
"But I'm not lying! Rupert, you believe me, right?!" I asked, looking at him desperately.
"... I'm not sure." Rupert said, causing me to gasp. "Before you freak out, remember, you and I were both there when he blew up. There is no way he can still be alive."
"B.. But, Rupert..." I said, before remembering what ZZ had said before he left.
"Have fun explaining this to your friends." He knew they wouldn't believe me. How he knew, I don't know. But he must've told me just so the others would think I'm insane.
"Y'know, ask my Vivosaurs if you need too. They heard and saw everything I did. They'll back me up."
"So your Vivosaurs are insane too?" Raptin asked, looking bored. "Look, let's just say you've lost it and go on with our lives."
"But I-"
"I would suggest you listen to her. I heard and saw it all as well, diga" A voice, sounding male, said.
We all turned around to see, well, basically a male version of Pauleen. He had slightly messy hair that went to his chin with almost the same bangs Pauleen has, and was the same color as Pauleen's with the same yellow tips. He also had the same green eyes, and also had the two red lines under his eyes. He was wearing a pink jacket that went to his elbows with a red shirt with a yellow collar underneath, black pants with a forest green belt, and red and yellow sneakers. He had the same glove system Pauleen had, but without the gold bracelets and the yellow wrappings went halfway to his elbows. He also had yellow wrapping around his ankles going up over his pants and ending about halfway to his knees.
"I... Who are you?" I asked the question all of us were wondering. Everyone was staring at him, shocked by how much he looked like Pauleen.
"Paul." The boy said, looking right at me. "Pauleen's twin brother."
Cue all of us gasping at once. Pauleen had a brother? Heck, she had a twin brother? That was the second thing of the day I couldn't believe. You'd think she would tell us. I mean, we all know Todd and Rupert both have a sister, so why didn't Pauleen tell us?
"What do you mean 'Pauleen's twin brother'? She hasn't mentioned anything about a brother." Todd said, shaking his head in confusion.
"We haven't seen each other in a while." Paul said, looking away. "That's probably why." He looks back at us before continuing. "But that's not important. What matters is Zongazonga is back, and, as Dina said, stronger than before."
"Okay, before we get into the psycho business, you said you were Pauleen's brother, right?" Rupert asked, looking suspicious.
"Correct."
"Then that means you're a member of the Digadig tribe, correct?"
"Yes."
"Then why don't you say 'diga' or 'digadig' often?"
"I've been traveling with our little brother and parents. I've been away from the tribe for a while, so I've fallen out of the tradition some. I still say it every once in a while, though."
"How long has it been?" Todd asked, interested by Pauleen's mostly unknown backstory.
"Look, as much as I would love to be interviewed, let's get back on topic." Paul said, sighing. "Zongazonga is back. There's no diga-denying that. And I have some clues on who the other revivals are, but not too much to guess."
This got me real interested. "What are those hints? We need to know as much as possible."
"Not much, sadly." Paul said, looking at me and sighing again. "I only overheard two BB members saying that the other two revivals could destroy the planet and cause another Ice Age."
All of us just looked at him. There were only two things we could all think of that could do that, and I hope that it's not them. Anything but them. Even ZZ's better.
"So the other revivals are Kyurem and Sailor Saturn? Yeah, we're in trouble." Rosie said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
Have I ever told you Rosie annoys me? Well, she does. Thankfully almost everyone else is annoyed by her as well. Here she is making jokes in the middle of a serious conversation. Which is bad.
Paul glared at her. "This is no time to be joking, Rosie. Although it's not specific, anything that could cause either one is dangerous and should be approached with caution, digadig."
"And why should I trust you?" Rosie asked, glaring at Paul. "You're a member of the Digadig Tribe. You may not act like it, but you are."
"You're getting off topic. Look, I don't know what my grandfather did, but I'm sure he didn't mean it. Besides, he tends to... Fail at a lot of stuff. The only thing he's good at is the Hip-Shaker Dance and freaking people out, diga. But let's stop getting off topic, and focus on Zongazonga and the other revivals."
"He's right, Rosie. Let the psychos talk." Raptin smirked.
Paul once again sighed before looking at everyone. "Right. We know Zongazonga is back, and that the other two revivals can destroy the world and bring forth the next Ice Age, diga. Also," He looks at Rupert, Joe, Rosie, and Raptin, "He's really back, diga. Rather you want to accept that or not, it's happening. Just accept it."
Joe just shook his head and said, "Look, pards, y'all are more than likely imaging things. We all know his skull exploded. He's gone."
"Sorry to break it to ya, Joe, but they're telling the truth." Another new voice, this time sounding female, said from somewhere behind us, sounding like it came from the tree by the main port.
We turn around to see three people, one female, two male jump out of the tree. They all shared some characteristics: sharp canines, pointed nails, like claws, and slits for pupils.
The girl appeared to be 12, had blonde hair and bright green eyes. She was wearing a blue jumpsuit and black, fingerless gloves with a blue rim. While she and the others were walking up, she seemed to have a slight limp in her right leg.
The first boy was about 13, with dark red hair and blood red eyes. He was wearing a red shirt and black shorts. Interestingly, he had a scar over his throat.
The second boy and the final one of the group was 14, with fire-yellow eyes and black hair. He was wearing a dark gray shirt and shorts, and had a scar over his right eye.
"Okay, who are you guys?" Dino asked, looking even more confused than before.
"I'm Zurteska." The girl said, pointing to herself.
"I'm Azizacan." The 14 one said, surprisingly happy despite the seriousness of the conversation.
"I'm ArkAziare, but call me Arky." A voice in my head said. Yep, I'm positive I'm going insane now.
The voice sighed, before saying, "You're not insane. I can't speak, so I'm talking through telepathy. Calm down."
"Can you read minds or something?!" Todd asked, looking frightened, probably due to Arky's telepathic abilities. Like me and possibly everyone else.
"No, but I can tell all of you were shocked. You guys should practice not looking so surprised when someone speaks through telepathy." Arky said while facepalming.
"In case you didn't know, speaking through telepathy isn't normal!" Holt said, still looking freaked out.
"In case you haven't noticed, we AREN'T normal." Arky said, looking annoyed.
"Yeah, we're Dinaurian descendants, meaning we have Dinaurian DNA." Zurteska said proudly.
Cue all of us gasping at the same time. Again. Wow, that's happened a lot.
"Dinaurian DNA?" Duna said, looking at them weirdly. "Wait... Do you happen to be...?"
"DUNA!" Zurteska yelled happily as she ran up and hugged her.
"... ... I'll take that as a yes." Duna said, sweatdropping.
"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Dynal asked.
With a cry of "DYNAL!" Zurteska repeated the running up and squeezing to death. Her brothers just stood back, smiling. I happened to look over to Raptin to see if he knew them, but found him backing away slowly with a nervous look on his face. I went over to ask what was wrong, and he shook his head and mouthed 'later'.
"And it was awesome! The tree was huge, but we managed to climb it! And then-" Zurteska was talking to Dynal and Duna, then stopped and just stared off into space. After a minute, she saw something, yelled, "BIRD!" and ran off to chase the bird, causing all of us to sweatdrop.
Azizacan then walked up to Duna, looked at her while smiling, and said, "Hi, Duna. You're looking great."
Duna chuckled a little bit. "You haven't changed."
"'Course not." Azizacan said, flipping his hair.
"You really haven't changed." Duna said, sweatdropping at this point.
Even though watching Azizacan try, and fail, to flirt with Duna, I looked over to Arky, who had been quiet for awhile. When I did, I found him staring intensely at Raptin, who was looking even more nervous than before. Arky looked like he could attack Raptin at any moment. Raptin looked strangely... guilty about something.
"Raptin." Arky said, giving him a death glare that would make Don Boneyard's death glare look like a puppy begging you for food.
Azizacan stopped flirting and looked over, giving a death glare as well, but not near as bad.
"H-Hi guys... How you doing?" Raptin said, sounding extremely nervous. He looked absolutely terrified, something we had never seen him look like.
"Mute and half blind, thanks to you, lizard boy." Arky said, sounding even more furious than before.
Did he just say Raptin is the reason they're half blind and mute?! I asked my vivosaurs, shocked.
Yes. I wonder what happened. Anubis said, sounding deep in thought.
I looked around at everyone else, who all looked just as shocked.
"O-Oh, y-you still mad about that?" Raptin said, sounding more nervous and scared by the moment.
"Of course." Azizacan said, suddenly serious. "You tried to kill us."
"L-Look, it's all a misunderstanding! I-"
"Look, lizard boy, you tried to kill my family and I, and now you're saying it's all a misunderstanding?! Well, it's time to finish what we started, isn't it, Azizacan?" Arky said, looking at Raptin then at Azizacan, who nodded.
"But-!"
Before he could say more, Arky and Azizacan lunged for him.
-Unknown Location-
-No Specific POV-
"What diga-do you want with me?!" Pauleen yelled, being dragged down one of the halls in the BB Base.
"Why should we tell you?" One of the men said. "You'll find out soon enough."
"So?! I have the right to know, digadig!"
The other man sighed as they came up to a door. "Look, we're here. Now be quiet."
They led her into the room, where Zongazona and Bullwort were waiting. Pauleen just stared at Zongazona, looking at him intently.
"Who are you?" She asked, still staring at him. "You seem... familiar, digadig."
"Aw, you don't recognize me?" Zongazonga said, grinning sinisterly at her. "It's me, Zongazonga."
"Wow, you just came right out with that, didn't you Zombie Boy?" Bullwort smirked.
"Shut up. I didn't ask your opinion." Zongazonga snapped. "Remember, I'm only working with you because we'll have a better chance of winning this way. If you get in my way, I'll gladly dispose of you."
"I can say the same, ZZ." Bullwort said, glaring.
"Uh... I'm still here, you know." Pauleen said after a few minutes of awkward silence and glaring.
They both sweatdropped before buth muttering, "Y-Yeah... Right..."
"So, are you really Zongazonga, or are you trying to fool me?" Pauleen asked, staring unbelievingly at him.
Zongazonga cleared his throat, then said, "'Course. I wouldn't lie. Since when have I lied?"
"Diga-do I really need to answer that?"
ZZ sweatdropped then, with an embarrassed look on his face. "Uh... Guess not. But let's get to why we summoned you here. We need you to-"
"I've got it, ZZ!" Bullwort said, pushing ZZ over so he would be standing in front of Pauleen, not him. "We need you to do something for us."
"And why would I diga-do that?" Pauleen growled.
"Because you don't have a choice." Bullwort said, smirking.
"Don't worry. We don't plan on having you do it willingly." ZZ said, also smirking.
"I had it under control." Bullwort said, glaring at Zongazonga.
"No, you did not." ZZ said, arms crossed and looking in front of himself. "Petty threats like 'you don't have a choice' will get you no where. You should've just told her about the original plan."
"Like you did?!"
"I was getting there. If you had not interrupted, we could be going onto our plan by now."
"Please, you don't seem to understand the urgency of this part of our plan."
"Wrong. I do. You keep dragging on this argument. Besides," ZZ looked at him and smirked, "I bet I would have a lot more fangirls then you ever will."
"OH, YOU DID NOT JUST GO THERE!"
"Yes, I did. I mean, look at my hair. Fangirls love the hair."
"Please, your hair makes you look like some odd version of Vaati. MY hair is more awesome."
ZZ laughed, causing Bullwort to glare at him. "What's so funny?!"
"You know, Vaati has millions of fangirls. So, thanks for the compliment. Also, since when I your hair awesome? It's some weird brown mess. At least mine is taken care of properly."
"SHUT UP!"
"Admit it. You're jealous of my hair."
"Am not! At least my hair is normal colored!"
"... You just insulted about half the people on Vivosaur Island and the Caliosteo Islands."
"I don't care!"
"... You have anger issues, you know that?"
"SHUT UP!"
"Do not talk to me that way. I am your senior. By a couple thousand years. Also, I would stop if I were you. You may become my new Majestic Vessel."
"We gave you an immortal body, why would you have the need for a new Majestic Vessel?"
"... Touché. But we can at least agree I am a way better villain. At least I succeeded in doing something."
"I REVIVED FRIGI!"
"And?"
"... Looked incredibly awesome while doing so...?"
This received more laughter from Zongazonga, which made Bullwort blush furiously. "Well, what have you done, Zombie Boy?!"
"I took over the body of Joe Wildwest, started the Caliosteo Cup, tried to take over Dina, possessed her friend, took over Rupert's body, revived my castle, and almost took over the islands."
"... W-Well... I revived Frigi!"
"And that's why I'm more epic."
"Well, you're clothes suck!"
"Really? Well-"
Pauleen stopped listening at this point and took the chance to examine the room more closely. The walls, seemingly made of steel, were solid, making the sounds of Zongazonga and Bullwort's arguments echo through the room. There were two beds, one on the East wall and one on the West wall. At the back there was a huge monitor, showing the completion of something, currently showing 98%. A few feet in front of it was an extraction chamber, with a mask levitating inside. She looked at the mask closer, wondering what it was. It looked heart-shaped with three spikes on either side, and big eyes. Majora's Mask, maybe? Looking at it even closer she realized it was not Majora's Mask, but the mask she wore back doing the Caliosteo Cup.
Pauleen instantly paled when she realized what it was. She couldn't stop staring at it, wondering what it could possibly be doing her? Thinking about that did not help her at all. She kept wondering how they got it from her tribe. It was guarded well, and she was lucky to have even gotten it. In fact, she had to cause a distraction so she could get in to take it.
Looking back at the computer screen, she realized it said "MASK POWER EXTRACTION" at the top, with the percentage now at 99. This got her thinking more. Why would they want the mask's power? Sure it was powerful, but if her and Hunter's theories about the revivals were correct, the mask was not needed. Speaking about the revivals, she noticed something she hadn't seen before. In each corner of the room, there was a bigger extraction chamber. In the right corner, she could mostly see mist, but though she could see ice and something white in the center. In the left corner, there was... Well, she didn't know what it was. However, it looked like some type of tissue.
"Look, as fun as proving all the different ways I am more awesome than you, let's get back to the plan." Zongazonga said happily, snapping Pauleen out of her thoughts. "According to the monitor, it should be done in a minute~!"
"... Did you just say that the way I thought you did?" Bullwort said, looking like he was about to laugh. "You sounded so happy you practically sang it."
"... Shut up." ZZ said, going from happy to annoyed in an instant.
There was a sudden beeping, and all three turned to the screen. It said 100%.
"About time." Zongazonga muttered as he walked over to the extraction chamber. "One more annoying remark and Bullwort would have been Z-Rex food..."
"I HEARD THAT!"
Zongazonga put a hand on the chamber, closed his eyes, and all of the extracted energy started flowing into him. Bullwort, who had been mad a moment before, was now grinning. Pauleen just stared wondering why ZZ would absorb the energy like that. Suddenly she felt an arm around her, holding her still.
"Now, hold still. This will only take a second." Bullwort whispered as he leaned over.
"W-Wha...?" Pauleen muttered, as Zongazonga, who finished absorbing the energy, walked over to her, looking almost psychotic. Not that he didn't look insane already.
"This is what we needed you for." Zongazonga said. "This is gonna be great."
"W...What's gonna be great...?" Pauleen said, trying to sound brave, when she was really terrified.
"Let's put it simply." Bullwort said. "When the mask possessed you before, it didn't get to have complete control. The way we have it now, you'll instantly be possessed completely."
"N-No... You really aren't going to do that, a...are you, Digadig?"
"'Fraid so." ZZ said, putting a hand on her forehead. "Although we tampered with it some. Now, when possessed, you'll do whatever we want you too."
"N-No! You can't diga-do this!"
"Actually, we can. Now, I'm getting tired of all this talking. Let's get on with it." Zongazonga said, before closing his eyes again and starting to glow purple.
Pauleen then felt energy going straight into her. It was different than the first time. Instead of it slowly gaining control after getting stuck on her face, it was taking over instantly. She had no idea the mask actually held so much power. She was worried. She couldn't stop thinking about what they would make her do. The last thing she saw before passing out was Zongazonga's psychotic grin, while hearing Bullwort's laughter in the background.
-Back at Vivosaur Island's main port-
-Dina's POV-
"But-!"
Before he could say more, Arky and Azizacan lunged for him. Raptin, who somehow saw this coming, leapt out of the way before they could get to him.
"Look, I don't want to fight!" Raptin stopped to dodge another attack. "If you'd just let me explain-"
Without Raptin noticing Arky had gotten behind him, with Azizacan acting like a decoy, occupying him so Arky could get behind unnoticed.
"Well, you might want to check your blind spots, lizard boy." Azizacan said, grinning.
When he finished, Arky tackled Raptin causing both of them to fall of the edge of the dock. We all stood back, scared and confused about what was going on. They both resurfaced a few seconds after falling in, and both swam over and got back up onto the dock.
"Well," Raptin said, trying to catch his breath. "You've gotten stronger."
"Wish I could say the same for you, Lizard Boy." Arky smirked. "Seems like you may have gotten weaker. You're not as ruthless as you used to be."
"That's because I'm not the same as I used to be." Raptin said, crossing his arms. "Now, if you'd let me explain-"
"Sorry, Lizard Boy, but we aren't done yet." Arky said, before attacking again.
They were moving around very quickly, to the point where they were hard to follow. Some of the only things we could tell from the fight, other than Raptin screaming occasionally, was that Arky and Azizacan had some pretty awesome martial arts skills. After making a mental note to ask them to teach me some of those moves, I tried to focus on the fight more, trying to tell what was actually going on. To put it simply, Raptin was getting crushed. As in me fighting a rank 1 Fighter who had rank 1 Vivosaurs while I had my all rank 20 team kind of bad. Yep. That bad.
I looked over to see if Zurteska was still chasing the bird, only to find her cheering her brothers on. I looked at everyone else, most of which still looked surprised. Duna and Dynal looked half confused, half calm, which surprised me. Paul and Rosie both looked annoyed, but probably for different reasons. Rosie, being Rosie, was probably annoyed that they were fighting, period. Meanwhile, Paul was probabl annoyed because we were official WAY off our original topic. Speaking of Zongazonga, I was pretty happy about the diversion. Not that they were fighting, but that no one was telling me how insane they though I was.
Looking back to the fight, I saw that Raptin had turned into his Vivosaur form, although that didn't help at all. Arky currently had him pinned down, clawed had ready to strike. I was about to intervene, but Dynal beat me to it.
"Stop. He really is different now." He said taking a step forward.
Arky seemed to calm down some, and stood up, letting Raptin up. Raptin quickly turned back into his regular form and started to explain.
"Look, I now what I did back then was bad, but you have to listen to me for a second. Back then, as you know, I hated humans. I though they were a mistake, and wanted to wipe them all out. So, when I met you guys, humans with Dinaurian DNA, I thought you were a threat to my people. I couldn't let you harm any of them, and without thinking, I attacked. I am very sorry about this, trust me, I've been feeling guilty ever since I started to trust humans. I don't expect you to, but I really hope you'll forgive me eventually."
The speech was followed by a stunned silence, broken when Holt whispered "Wow..." so quietly I'm amazed I managed to hear it. That's a plus to having good hearing.
After a few more moments of silence, Arky sighed before saying, "All right. You're forgiven, for now. However, if you attempt to hurt me or my siblings, I will not hesitate to attack. Do you understand?"
Raptin nodded, and all of the tension it the air seemed to ease some. Zurteska ran over happily and joined her brothers.
"Alright, now that all that is over, may we go back to Zongazonga's return?" Paul asked, sounding as annoyed as he looked, which was very annoyed.
Joe sighed, at looked at the ocean. "Alright. Although, it may take a while for y'all to convince me."
I smiled, and looked over to Paul, who seemed calmer now.
"Sounds great, Joe." I said, still smiling. "However, I'm getting hungry, so can we eat first?"
Todd suddenly paled, and everyone looked at him curiously.
"Todd, what is that face for?" Rupert asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Di-Dina's starting to sound like Lester." Todd said, looking terrified.
That's when it hit me. I really was sounding like Lester. I got scared, probably more than Todd, and whispered, "Maybe I am going insane. ... Well, I'd rather be insane than to become like Lester..."
Apparently everyone heard me, causing everyone, even Arky and Paul, to laugh. Well, everyone except Lester. He was giving me a death glare.
-A Little While Later-
Everything had seemed to calm down. As it was getting late, we decided to continue our talk in the morning. Everything had seemingly calmed down, until Raptin though it would be a good idea to prank someone. And by someone, I mean Arky.
As we were heading to our rooms to get ready for bed, I found Raptin hiding behind the one of the trees in the hotel, grinning like crazy. I raised an eyebrow at him, and he puts a finger to his lips then points over to the room Zurteska and her brothers were staying in. Arky was walking over to it, looking tired, most likely due to the fight with Raptin earlier. As he opened the door, a bucket I didn't notice earlier fell over, spilling honey all over Arky. Raptin and Zurteska, who was already in the room, started laughing like crazy. I was smiling, trying not to laugh, and once again looking into the room, I could tell Azizacan was doing the same.
Arky turned around and gave Raptin a death glare again, making him stop laughing instantly. Without saying anything, Arky suddenly started chasing Raptin around the hall, looking really mad.
Raptin, who looked as scared as earlier, yelled, "C'mon! I was just trying to show you guys I'm not that bad! I mean, sure, pranking you wasn't the best way, but-"
Arky had almost reached Raptin, who stopped what he was saying and started screaming his head off. Have I mentioned Raptin screams like a girl? I didn't think so. Anyway, we all started laughing at Raptin's screams. You know, having four extra people probably won't be as bad as I thought. Not that I though it would be bad. I'm not that kind of person. Okay, I though it may be bad, but I don't anymore. So, yeah.
-Cranial Isle, 10 P.M-
-No POV-
The intruder walked along the wall slowly, being careful to not make a single noise. She looked around, making sure no one had shown up since her last check. Noticing nothing had changed, she continued on slowly. As she walked, she kept a had on the wall, making sure she didn't bump into anything, as it was dark thus all the lights were off. As she crept along, she heard a noise behind her. Turning around quickly, she didn't see anything. Thinking it was just a creak, she made sure the hood of her cloak was still obscuring her face, before continuing.
Thinking back to what her bosses told her needed to be done, she had expecting it to be a lot harder. Despite the recent Giga Allo attack, which had damage most of the buildings, there had been no change in security, which surprised her. She had expected at least some kind of security. A guard, something. When she arrived, however, no one was there.
Finally reaching her destination, the Fighter Station's cleaning room, she slowly opened the door just enough so she could squeeze through, and closed it behind her. She walked over to the secret area her bosses told her about. Opening the door, she was shocked to see they were really there. Not that she doubted what her bosses told her, but that something that valuable would be unguarded. There were two boxes, both filled with fossil rocks. The right one had jewel rocks, all said to contain big diamonds. The other contained Miraculous Fossil Rocks.
Once again wondering why they would leave these unguarded, she took out the bag she had brought with her and started filling it with the fossils. Another thing that puzzled her was why they would even have these hidden in the first place. Were they scared of some type of World War Z type apocalypse and needed things to prepare for war? The golden fossils would be perfect for that, zombie apocalypse or any war. The diamonds were even more puzzling. Maybe they wanted to buy the next island that was made a volcano, perhaps Mount. Krakanak itself, and wanted to make sure no one could buy it from them. Or maybe they wanted to buy out an island. Either way, this didn't make much since.
As she finished putting the rocks in her bag, she wondered why her bosses wanted these in the first place. One of her bosses said it would be great for money, the diamonds would sell for a high price, and she could picture dollar signs in her boss's eyes as he thought about the golden fossils. Her other boss, and her favorite, was against this idea completely. He said that they needed the golden fossils to strengthen up their team, so they wouldn't lose easily. She didn't understand why he was so worried. She was by far the strongest of the entire team, and even she was weak compared to him. She was about on level with her other boss, who said "Once the second revival is complete, you and Mr. Fancy won't stand a chance." She highly doubted that, as her other boss was one of his own Vivosaurs, with two zombie T-Rexes that revived after being defeated for two turns, making an almost limitless amount of HP restoration.
She stood, prepared to leave, when she saw the door open and the light turn on. She looked at who it was, and saw Terry, the Staff leader of Cranial Isle. He looked upset, and had his Lugmos by his side, growling at her. Well, at least they had some type of security.
"Who are you?!" He asked, getting prepared to tell his Lugmos to attack if necessary. "What do you want? How did you know about those fossils?!"
"... You ask too many questions." She said, calmly. "What I want to know is why you have something like this hidden in the first place."
"Why should I answer you?!"
"Because I have the rocks. Besides, your Lugmos looks very weak."
"Oh yeah?! Well, take this! LUGMOS SPHERE!"
The intruder calmly jumps onto the top of the station where fossils are cleaned.
"Aw, you missed." She said, mocking him.
"You haven't answered my questions! What do you want?"
"These rocks."
"How do you know about them?! And do you know about the Ultimate Fossil Rocks?!"
"Ultimate Fossil Rocks?" She asked, becoming interested by these 'Ultimate Fossil Rocks'. She didn't know about them, and she suspected her bosses didn't either.
"Y-You don't know?" She shook her head. "O-Oops..."
"Tell me."
"No! Those are way to valuable to let go over. LUGMOS BLASTER!
"OMIAS EXODUS!"
The two attacks met, and, due to the difference in power, the Omias won, sending the Lugmos flying. The attack had been so powerful, the Lugmos turned back into a Dino Medal.
"Lugmos!" Terry cried, while running over to the Dino Medal, glaring back at the girl.
The girl calmly returned her Omias, picked up the bag, she let go of when she let her Omias out, and walked over to the Staff Leader.
"W-Who are you?" He asked, now afraid of the intruder.
"The highest ranking member of the BB Bandits. I only take orders from my bosses, if that gives you an idea. Now, tell me more about these Ultimate Fossil Rocks."
Me: IT'S FINALLY DONE!
Raptin: Yeah, only took you a few months.
Me: *Snaps, and Zonga shows up and hugs Raptin*
Raptin: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Me: Anyway, I'd like to thank all my reviewers. I would answer all of them, but it's about 11:30 where I live. Big thanks to DunalN2, who heped with a few things in the chapter. Also, I have a question for you guys. Do you think I should stick with POVs, or should I do it the way the last part of the chapter is done, AKA second/third person? If you guys can answer, I would really appreciate it.
Anyway, here is an alternate scene that could've happened (Disclaimer: I don't own FF, Arky, Azizacan, or Dora the Explorer):
Alternate Scene #1: Raptin's Apology
-Dina's POV-
Arky currently had Raptin, who had turned back into normal form, pinned down. Growling, he stands up, drags Raptin over to the edge of the dock, and holds him out over it. This, of course, freaked us all out, and we went to help him, only to be held back by Dynal, who shook his head. Azizacan, walked over, grinning proudly.
"Just let me apologize!" Raptin begged, looking scared. "I-I'll do anything you want, just don't kill me!"
This made Azizacan's grin get even bigger. "Anything?"
"Y-Yeah, just let me live and apologize."
"Okay. Then repeat anything we say, and that will be your apology." Arky said, smirking.
"Alright! Just let me live!"
"Okay. I'll start. I, Raptin, apologize to the most epic trio ever."
"I-I, Raptin, apologize to the most epic trio ever."
"I promise to never try to kill them again, and if I do, I will gladly let Dynal make me wear nothing but pink and talk like a baby."
"... I promise to never try to kill them again, and if I do, I will gladly let Dynal ... Make me wear nothing but pink and talk like a baby."
"I will also like to Say I am a complete idiot that thinks 1+1=9,000,000."
"I will also like to say I am a complete idiot that thinks 1+1=9,00,00."
"I am also scared of anything that moves, and my favorite show is Dora the Explorer."
"... ... I am also scared of anything that moves, and my favorite show is... ...Dora the Explorer..."
Azizacan and Arky looked at each other, nodded, and Arky put Raptin down. Raptin who was no longer dangling over the edge of the dock, was blushing like crazy, muttered something about none of that being true, and ran off. Needless to say, we were all laughing by crazy by the end.
