I just want to write bruce and tony for a minute here bear with me.

Scarred fingers ran through black hair that had grown out too long and was badly in need of a cut. But with school work, personal projects, girls to chase after and a best friend to take care of, who had time for hair charms? Not Tony, that was for sure. Pepper had told him that he could not have so many projects on the side 'You know, so you could go to class, instead?' but she didn't have a pure blood father who would only glance in her direction if she was the best of the best. Sure, she was also a pure blood. But not like Howard Stark was a capital P Pure Blood Wizard.

So when he started to not sleep and accusing the other Sixth Year Ravenclaw boy who was unfortunate enough to share a room with Bruce and Tony of stealing his basic potion ingredients, Bruce knew that it was time to take a break. He also knew that Tony would never agree to it, so he suggested taking the Ferrus Suit out for more test runs. And then, once they were outside in the forest, he used his condition to get Tony to just talk to him. If there was one good thing about being a werewolf, it was that he could always get Tony focused (well, as focused as he ever got) on something else.

So that is how they found themselves, Bruce propped against a tree, with Tony's head in his lap, just talking.

"I don't understand why the school is in an uproar over it." Tony sighed, closing his eyes. He hated to admit it, but having his hair played with was extremely relaxing. He hardly ever let anyone touch him, let alone his hair. But this felt nice.

"Tony, you broke hundreds of years of tradition just because you wanted to talk to Pepper."

There was a pause. Tony was clearly struggling to say something.

"You know, I'm sorry for all the..." Tony waved his hands in vague motions over his head. Bruce blushed.

"Tony, it's fine. No one even found out. Clint is actually being very reasonable. Seems to think it makes us similar."

Tony snorted. "You are NOT similar to that feathered bimbo."

Bruce laughed. Tony could be cruel, but his observations were always funny. Bruce felt guilty for laughing at them sometimes but they almost always got a chuckle out of him. "Now, he's not a bimbo..." But he was still giggling, staring up at the stars. Tony used this moment to look up at his friend without reservation. Bruce was actually very handsome when he was relaxed. It was too bad that it wasn't very often he felt he could do so. Tony was determined to change that.

"Still, if he ever spilled what he now knows..."

"Tony, no, don't beat anyone up over me."

"Beat him up? No, of course not." Tony acted as if this had never crossed his mind. "No, I'd simply use that new potion I've been working on."

"Oh no, not that one that..."

"The very same." Tony's evil grin lit up his face and Bruce just shook his head.

Clint Barton better hope that he didn't let this secret slip.
