"...Take a hint!..." Kole and Lilian sang.

He strum the last nodes on his guitar before looking at them.

"That was awesome!" Nabu said and stretched his arms.

"Yeah, how did you come up with that, Jer? It's really good, we're going to win the competition for sure now!" Kole said with a big smile.

He pointed at Lilian.

"Lilian helped you write the song?" Suddenly Kole looked ... disappointed.

"I just told him about our stalkers," Lilian said. "He figured out the rest. And I must say, handsome, it's spot on."

He smiled at her.

"I can't wait for tonight..." Herald said with a smile. "But guys, we better get going or we're going to be late for our classical music class.

Elliot made something that almost looked like a smile, before he disappeared out into the hallway.

"He has such a hot back." It came from Lilian.

"It is impressive that you can tell, when pretty much every inch of him is covered up." Nabu said, as he took his disc' from the turntable and put them in his backpack.

"That reminds me," Lilian said and turned to Nabu and Herald. "Isn't it time for you two to get some girlfriends?"

"Yeah ... no," Herald said with a smirk. "That's not on my to-do-list."

"Yeah," Nabu smiled. "Mine neither, beside my ex and I didn't really finish things back home."

Then he pulled the backpack over his shoulder and left the room with Herald.

Lilian looked confused. "Was I too harsh?"

He smiled and shook his head. Then he made his way to the door.

If they kept talking, they were going to be very late.

"You want time off? What's that suppose to mean?"

When Grant opened his mouth, Icicle jr. stopped him with a hand.

"I know what it means. What I mean is ... why?"

Grant looked at him like he had just fallen of the moon. "If that's what you meant, why didn't you say so in the first place?"

"Chancing the subject, isn't gonna make it easier to get what you want." Aqualad said, as he stood a little away, observing them.

"I know that," Grant said with a smile, as he turned around to face him. "But it's not like ice guy over here is going to give me permission, so..." he said, as he gestured to Icicle jr., whose face looked like it was about to melt from anger.

"What do you need time off for?"

Grant spun around and saw Deathstroke in the doorway.

"I need to update mom on my seach for Joey," he just said.

"Why now?" Deathstroke asked.

"Because it's been days, and we both know, I am so much better than that."

Ravager snorted as she appeared behind Deathstroke.

"Could you get over yourself for once?" She asked.

"Could you? Or are you busy being a daddy's girl?" He fired back.

She got one of her throwing knife out and threw it at him.

He caught it in the air. But instead of getting further into it with Ravager, he turned to Deathstroke.

"So can I go or not?" He asked. "Maybe I can find out something more about Joseph."

Deathstroke narrowed his eyes. "Then go and keep me posted."

Grant signed of relieved and went by his dad and Rose and out to the hallway.

He pulled out his phone.

Don't write to this nummer again

OK?

G

"So ... this blonde's dad, who's that?" Wonder girl asked, hands on her hips.

"Well ... your gonna be a bit shocked." Wally said.

"Well, if you just tell us it would be fine." Robin said with his arm crossed over his chest.

"Well ... it's Deathstroke." Wally said fast.

The room went completely silent.

"That girly-looking guy ... is Deathstroke's son? They don't even look alike." It came from a surprised Beast Boy.

"Maybe not, but their DNA matches." Nightwing said.

"So did Deathstroke take him?" Blue beetle said.

"We don't think so." Wally said. "But we didn't want you to judged him on his family, and there is a chance that he just ran away."

"Does Deathstroke want something to do with him?" Superboy asked.

Wally looked pained and smiled stiffly.

"We have gotten some intel... that ... word on the street is, that he wants something from him or at least want to talk with him." He said nervously.

"So... we don't know where that Joseph guy is..." Robin said. "But we do know that Deathstroke is after him..."

"But we don't know why?" Wonder girl asked.

Wally shook his head. "But I'm working on that."

"So do we go after Deathstroke?" Blue Beetle asked.

"No." Nightwing said. "I want proof that he's behind this, before we risk anything."

"So we wait?" Beast Boy asked, it didn't take a rocket scientist to see, that he wasn't happy with it.

"We're working on figure it all out, but if we're attack Deathstroke without reason..." Wally shook his head. "It wouldn't go well."

"Okay?" Superboy said and turned to the others. "So what are we suppose do, while we wait?"

Robin, Wonder girl, Blue Beetle, Beast Boy discussed that while they left the room with Superboy.

Nightwing looked at Wally. "That was very close."

Wally nodded.

"They aren't dumb, D." He said very serious. "But I guess we can't just tell them all of this, can we?"

"Are you ready?"

He nodded.

"All of us are!" Nabu said excited and put an arm around his neck.

Their teacher smiled at them all. "You're very good, I'm sure you will do great."

He smiled stiffly, as he looked at his phone again.

He couldn't understand, why Grant would write something like that. He usually came, he didn't have an ear music and to him it was just a lot of noise, but he still came.

"You're not depressed about something, are you?" Herald asked, as he hit his drumsticks together.

He looked up at him, smiled and shook his head.

Elliot put a hand on his shoulder and looked at him intensely.

"I don't think he's ever been depressed." Lilian said, as she checked her makeup.

Kole took his hand and let him to the curtain and parted it, so they could see the audience.

"There," she said and pointed at two guys in the front row, who practically was halfway up on stage. "They're our stalkers."

He looked at them and pulled out a pencil and the pad of paper.

Lilian were right, they look pretty gross

Kole laugh "Yeah, they are."

"Guys, two minuts to show time." It came from their teacher, as she came by.

They nodded to each other.

Kole and Lilian took the microphones, Nabu leveled the microphone by the keyboard and adjusted the sound, Herald sat down by the drums, Elliot strum the bas.

He pulled the guitar strap over his head and strum the guitar, as the teacher announced that they were about to play.

He looked over the guitar he held, it was electic, not like his own, but it was pretty good to play with.

The curtain slowly parted, as the cheers reached them.

He breached in slowly, and breached out.

It felt like taking a breach of fresh air after inhaling smoke for a long time.

Lilian and Kole click their microphones on and started singing: "Na, na, na, na, na. Na, na, na, na..."

He jumped of the train, and ran as fast as he could.

The school he presumed Joey was at, were two street away.

Was it started?

He push passed the people on the street, not too harsh, he didn't want any delays.

He had to write, what he did to Joseph, if they started exhanging messages their father was going to find out, and that was going to be bad.

He had visited their mom like he said, she didn't like that he hadn't found anything.

Though he had let her astray, he though it was good enough.

When he was one street away he could hear the noise and two female voice yelling.

As he got closer to the school he stuck to the shadow, because he didn't want to be seen by anyone.

He hid behind a tree close to the stage.

Two blackhaired girls screamed into microphone, jumped of the stage and got up in the face of two guys standing in front, and one of them screamed: "... And if I had a dime for every name that you just dropped..."

"... You'd be here and I'd be on a yacht!" They yelled in sync.

He looked up on stage, there were four guys and the one on the guitar, that was Joey.

He looked so happy.

Suddenly Joey turned his head and looked directly at him.

He duck behind the tree, hoping he hadn't seen him.

Suddenly the noise and the screaming stopped and the people started clapped and yelled: "Encore! Encore!"

He leaned over to see. The curtain was drawn.

He turned around to leave.

He breached out.

Had it been Grant?

Well ... why would he sent that text and then come? ... it couldn't have been him.

"Well guys," Nabu said and stretched his arm. "I'm sorry, but I have to go to work."

As Nabu left, Jericho gave the others a note, that said he would be back in a minut.

When he got out into the school hallway, he had forgotten why he wanted to be alone.

He signed and leaned against some lockers.

He had made a life here, a good life, as Jericho Wilson, since he came to the school. And even though he had texted Grant about coming, just the thought of maybe having seen him, turned his insides upside down. It felt like it all would crumble between his finger.

"Jer?"

He flinched.

Lilian stood in front of him.

He looked questioningly at her, as to asked how long she had been standing there.

"Just got here," she said, answering the unspoken question.

He cocked his head to the side.

"I just wanted to thank you for the song. I think it did the trick." She said with a smile. Her teeth glittered like the big diamond cross, that was attach to the black leather collar around her neck.

He smiled and shook his head to say that wasn't necessary.

She smiled and suddenly kissed him.

She pried open his mouth with her tongue, and he was just so shocked, he just starred at her.

Her tongue collided with his, as she put her arms around his neck. She tasted like cigarets and red wine.

She kissed him more intensly, as if she was inviting him.

He felt like he couldn't breach.

He put his hand on her shoulders to push her away, but she just moved them to just above her hips. Then she broke off the kiss.

She looked at him, as she caught her breach.

Then she smiled at him and took off her collar.

"Here," she said and gave it to him. He took it, still staring shocked at her. "You can't wear buttoned up skirts during the summer."

Then she left.

He just stared at the collar in his hand.
