I do not own InuYasha..only the OCs I decide to create...
And to Icegirljenni...thank you for the review! It's so painful because his father was kind and, well, hanging out with his son. He doesn't remember because that was one of the prices..just not the costly one.

Chapter 6
Fubuki closes her eyes as Sesshomaru makes his way towards her.
"What was that?" he demands, and she shakes her head. It's not her place to explain that day. If only she had remembered that he had to forget all about that day in order to help his mother.
"Okaa-san, what's going on? Who was the demon in that memory?" Youko calls out, and Fubuki goes down on her knees with her head bowed. What has she done?
"Miss, Rin is confused. What was that?"
"Explain yourself, demoness! Sesshomaru-sama asked you a question!"
"Fubuki-sama, what is going on?"
"Stop it," she whispers as they continue to bombard her with questions.
"Fubuki-sama!"
"Okaa-san!"
"Miss!"
"Demoness!"
"Explain."
"STOP IT!" she screams out and huffs with exertion of it. She can't. She just can't. She gets up and looks at all of them her eyes wide and her face pale. She runs for the forest with everyone staring at her, and Youko makes a move to follow after her.
"Don't," Natsuko says and holds her back with one arm. "She needs to think."
"B-but okaa-san!" she cries and looks in the direction that Fubuki went. Natsuko shakes his head, and her head bows in consent.
Okaa-san...
Fubuki stops after some time and slides down a tree and puts her head to her knees.
"What have I done?" she says to herself and looks up to the leaves of the tree and sighs. "What am I to do? I can't grant such an impure wish and I sure as hell can't explain that memory."
"Remember that you can't always help eveyone. You will have to turn them away if they don't know what they truly want," the voice of her grandmother says in her mind, and she closes her eyes tight.
"But baa-san, I can't help it this time," she says to the voice and allows a single tear to fall from her closed lids. "He has the purest wish."
"I know, but you have to let him go. He will cause your ultimate demise."
"I just want this cursed life to end, baa-san. It hurts so much. I just want it to end," she says next and thumps the back of her head on the tree trunk.
"I know you don't want it passed down to your children, but dying before you even have one will have our line end. Are you willing to risk that?"
Fubuki thinks for a second and sighs in sadness. "Yes, baa-san, but he has to know that's not the wish he desires. I have to follow the rules or Kami won't be pleased."
"Kami won't be pleased anyway. He hasn't like our family line ever since Koriki. You know that."
"He loved Koriki. Like he loves me. He loves all of his children," Fubuki says hotly, and her grandmother snorts.
"Please. He hates us all."
"You're wrong, baa-san. He loves all of his children, no matter what."
"You are a fool. I raised you better than this, Fubuki of the Ice."
"You raised me as a whore, baa-san. Goodbye," Fubuki says and pushes her grandmother's voice out of her head. That helped with nothing.
Fubuki sighs and gets up. She can't leave her daughter with a daiyoukai that can very well kill her, now can she?
Youko paces at the forest edge and looks at Natsuko and the little green imp converse as the young human child dances in a feild of flowers, wait there are flowers? Youko shakes her head and goes back to her pacing while staring at the young girl in envy.
"Please hurry, okaa-san. I wann go play in the flowers," she says to herself, and Fubuki smirks.
"Then go ahead. I'll be right here watching you." Youko shoots her head up to look at her and beams.
"Okaa-san! You have returned!" she cries and runs up to her. Fubuki opens her ams and hugs the young child and smiles softly at her.
"Go play. I will be right here," Fubuki whispers into her ear, and Youko nods and goes off. She makes sure that Youko isn't paying attention and makes her way over to Sesshomaru.
"Can we talk? I have some explaining to do," Fubuki says, and Sesshomaru gives a slight nod. He walks off into the direction of the forest, and Fubuki follows soon after, leaving her daughter and his ward to play.
