A/N: Oi, everyone! I'm back! With a new chapter! On time! Aren't you kinda proud of me? School is a pain so I'm really busy and it kind of sucks because I can't really write much. But I do have chapter 8 in the workshop so... keke you have to just wait!
SUMMARY: It's just a regular summer night at the yearly summer festival in quiet, peaceful Namimori. What more could happen between the Vongola Guardians? (2718, 8059, XS, B26)
"Hibari-san…?" Tsuna watched as Hibari strode out to the clearing, giving fleeting glance at Tsuna before shoving Mukuro away from the brown eyed boy. "H-Hibari-san!"
"Kufufufu… What's with you, birdie? Getting a little jealous that Tsuna is mine?" Mukuro chuckled as he saw anger and annoyance flash in the piercing grey eyes of Hibari Kyoya.
"Why aren't you in prison, you stupid mist?" Hibari growled as he pulled out his tonfas in a blink of an eye.
"W-what?" Tsuna jogged up to the two men. "Mukuro, you… you're really here?"
"Kufufu… my innocent little bunny didn't know… didn't you feel the warmth of my skin against yours? The closeness of our bodies… my breath on your neck…" Mukuro started to lean towards Tsuna.
Hibari stood in front of Tsuna, glaring at the Mist guardian. "Get out of here."
"Hibari-san, no, what are you doing, just let Mukuro be a family member!" Tsuna stared at Hibari with commanding eyes which made Hibari's left eye twitch slightly.
"Stupid herbivore.." Hibari puffed before disappearing into the forest.
"Ah, master, I see, I understand why you think that." Fran commented from his place at the lake, nodding his head slightly then dodging the trident illusion. "Sheesh, alright, whatever."
Fran's monotone echoed into the forest as he walked away, leaving the Vongola boss with his Mist Guardian.
"Tsunayoshi…kufufu… I'll see you soon." Mukuro dissipated, leaving a sleepy looking Chrome staring at Tsuna, who was looking into the shadows of the forest. "Do you realize what is going on?" Chrome inquired softly, her voice barely coming over the night bird's cry.
"Oh, Chrome, hello...wait... Hie?! Wait how.. what... Mukuro.." Tsuna cleared his throat. "Ah, no, what do you mean?" Tsuna blinked in confusion.
"That Cloud guardian…" Chrome closed her eyes. "Boss.. you need to figure it out yourself."
Tsuna tilted his head slightly, puzzled by what Chrome wanted to say about Hibari. Just when Tsuna opened his mouth to question Chrome, a rough voice rang out: "Chrome!"
Chrome turned her head to the general location of the voice, "K-Ken?"
Ken stumbled out of the forest, looking frantic and upset. "Chrome! Where… what… Damn you stupid woman!" Chrome clutched her trident with her pale hands as Ken rushed to her side, engulfing her in a hug. "You don't know how…" Ken stopped himself and pushed himself away from Chrome, scratching his head while looking away from her. "You're the only one who could change with Mukuro-sama, byon!"
Chrome softly smiled, gently reaching for Ken's cheek, "It's okay, Ken, I'm fine."
Ken jumped at the touch of Chrome's hand on his cheek and turned his back on her. "L-Let's go! Kakipi will get mad."
Tsuna watched as the two hurried back to Kokuyo, still thinking of what Chrome said about Hibari. "Hibari-san, what are you hiding from me?" Tsuna walked towards the shrine once more, worrying of what Hibari was doing in the forest in the first place. Stumbling over a tree root, Tsuna landed on something that grunted in response.
"Mou… sorry," Tsuna scrambled up and looked up at the person he fell on, "Oh, hey, Belphegor."
"You are to call me 'prince'." Bel crinkled his nose as he dusted himself off. "Stupid peasant, you got dirt on my jacket. I could end your life with a simple cut from my knives for this." Bel, however, did not look happy at the thought of the flowing blood that would result from him cutting Tsuna.
"Whatever, kaching." Bel swiftly climbed a nearby tree and disappeared among the branches.
Tsuna stood still, trying to understand what's going on around him when Bel suddenly dropped upside down from a branch. "What?" Tsuna stared at wonder of how the bangs were defying gravity but shrugged it off because his hair was gravity defiant as well.
"Do you know where froggy is?" Bel swung gently from the branches, reaching up to secure his crown.
"Froggy…oh, Fran? He was with Mukuro then he left to return to the shrine." Tsuna observed the irritated frown pulling on Bel's lips before Bel suddenly heaved himself up to the darkness once more.

"Hibari-san!" Tsuna wandered aimlessly in the forest. Judging by the sky, it seemed to be about 3 am. "Hibari-san!" Tsuna heard a noise before him and crept in the shadows to determine what made the noise. There Hibari was, sitting on a cliff that was dangerously above a cascade of jagged rocks.
"What do you want, herbivore." Hibari growled when Tsuna approached him, looking nervously down the cliff as he made his way to the aloof skylark.
"Hibari-san, as your family boss, I command that you tell me what is going on in your mind?" Tsuna sat a few inches away from Hibari's cold form.
"..." Hibari gave an irritated grunt.
"Hibari…san…" Tsuna reached over and touched Hibari's shoulder, which stiffened.
"Oi!" A voice rang out, "Tsuna, you have to come back to the shrine, now!"
Tsuna looked back at the voice which belonged to Yamamoto. "Yamamoto, what… what's going on?!"
"It's Hibari! He's in trouble!" Yamamoto caught his breath then noticed the figure next to Tsuna. "Tsuna, who's…" Yamamoto's eyes grew in shock as he pulled Tsuna behind him and slashed out his long sword, "This isn't Hibari… Tsuna, Hibari is at the shrine."
The Hibari in front of them vaporized when Yamamoto saw through the illusion.
"Damnit, how… how didn't I know?" Tsuna felt weak, he felt like a failure of a boss.
"Tsuna… the shrine, let's go!" Yamamoto started running, watching for other illusions as the two made their way to the shrine… to help Hibari
A/N: Rather a short chapter this time.. but did you enjoy it? Please let me know if I'm doing fairly well or not. This pairing is difficult because one of my pet peeves is that the character is way too OOC and I really don't want my fics to have OOC-ness to the EXTREME.
Leave a review, message me, or whatever you feel like... But yeah I love being able to have conversations with my readers (those who did message me, thank you! I loved talking to you!)
Byebi and see you next chapter ~psh7275
