Chapter Six – Big Plop
Normal (3rd person) POV
A blob of poop smeared against Shredder's armour and a sneer covered the man's face as it dripped and slid off onto the ground. The small infant then burst out laughing.
"SILENCE!" Shredder bellowed, snarling, "Or I will make you silent!"
Chapter Seven – Haft to Try
Raph's POV
I sat at the kitchen table with Mikey, eating the scrambled eggs Shell-For-Brains [Mikey] had made. Brainiac [Don] was in his lab, as usual, while Fearless [Leo] was still asleep; Jasper had kept him up all night. Splinter was meditating and had cancelled training for today, as Don had told us he was close to cracking down on the pin point of Leo's two other children, so Splinter thought it would be best for us to not 'strain ourselves', when we would need our energy later on.
"Somewhere near the docks…" Don had told us, referring to where Leo's kids were, "We'll know soon enough… I just need to crack a few codes and break some firewalls…"
And so he'd locked himself away in his lab, tellin' me and Mikey not ta disturb him with a fierce look in his eyes. We'd nodded enthusiastically; nobody wanted ta be on Don's bad side.
"Poor Leo," Mikey chuckled, breaking through the gloomy silence like a (very annoying) ray of sunshine, "He must be buggered."
I let out a small laugh, too, and nodded, "Never had 'im sleep in before, not since we were lil'."
"I hope Jasper doesn't wake his poor ol' dad up again. I don't think Leo could take it." Mikey chuckled before suddenly jumped from his chair, "Wait! I-If Jasper wakes Leo up too much, he'll be too tired to help save the other two! I-I'm gonna go grab Jasper!"
I rolled my eyes at deh urgency in his voice as he ran up the stairs, as if a bomb were 'bout ta go off or somethin'. I finished meh food and placed my plate in da sink before heading off for the dojo, not able to sit still.
What was happenin' to those two – Leo's two other children, the small boy and girl – right now? What would Shred-Head be doin' ta them?
'Bettah not hurt 'em if he knows what's good for 'imself.' I thought bitterly, approaching my punching bag as if I were its predator (not that I ain't, 'course).
I began to pummel the punching bag, glancing ever so often towards the clock, watching as the seconds dragged by.
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.
Nobody's POV (3rd person)
It was time.
Everybody – Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Splinter – looked at each other and gave a small nod before boarding the Shell Razor, except for Splinter who wished them all good luck. He wished he'd gone with them but knew that his sons were capable to do this on their own.
"It should take us around ten minutes to get there; the sooner the better. Everybody ready?" Donnie asked.
Leo ignored the fact that, as leader, he should probably be the one stating this but let it go. After all, Donnie had been working so hard to help him, Leo, find his children. When everybody had nodded, Leo revved the engine and they were off, speeding towards the exit which lifted just in time and closed tightly behind them. The whole ride, questions about how Leo's children even existed floated through the turtle's minds, though they all knew this wasn't important yet, not until the other two were safe, so the inquiry was silenced temporarily.
The ride was short but very, very fast, and the Shell Razor seemed to go flying when they hit the speed bumps. Nobody complained. Back at the lair and on speaker was Splinter, April and Casey, who were looking after Jasper while they were rescuing his siblings.
"We're here." Leo stated, staring at what was supposed to be an abandoned warehouse by the docks.
"Good. I been itchin' ta hit someone all day." Raph muttered, pelting his fist into his spare hand.
"It's true! He's been pummelling his punching bag all day, harder than usual!" Mikey commented.
They all headed inside the building after Leo parked it in the shadows and out of sight.
"April, are you still there?" Donnie whispered as they approached the warehouse.
"Yeah, I'm here, Don." She replied from the headset-like speaker. The anxiousness was clear in her voice.
"Alright, let's go." Leo said.
The four ninjas crept towards the warehouse, sticking to the shadows. The well-hidden guards were many, though none were tense. They didn't know of the turtle's arrival. Leo signalled for his brothers to follow him and they did so without hesitation; Leo had learnt the blueprints of the warehouse off by heart, determined for them to succeed, and for his children to be saved from the clutches of the Shredder.
Leo paused and the others did so, too. A deep frown formed on Leo's face. The others looked into the corridor to see Karai. They all tensed and their hands reached for their weapons, though Karai did not.
"I'm here to help." Karai said, her voice even and hardly audible.
"'Help'? Yeah, right." Raph spat sarcastically.
"Please, there is not much time," Karai told them, her voice and face emotionless, "We must hurry, before Master Shredder notices my absence and realises what I am up to."
"Why should we trust you?" Raph snarled.
Leo nodded. Why should they trust her? She was working for the Shredder, after all. Though the memory of her telling him of when she was little and had been abandoned, lonely and without family played in the back of his mind. Surely she would never force something like that on someone else?
"I see no other option. What are you planning to do? Stalk the corridors and hope you come across the right rooms? I am the only one here besides Shredder who knows where the children really are." Karai replied coolly.
Raph growled but had no more arguments.
Leo sighed, "Fine, then, Karai. Where are they?"
And so the four brothers sneaked through the corridors, following her.
"She could be leading us into a trap, Leo!" Raph hissed venomously.
"I don't think she is." Leo replied, though his voice was hard and uncertain.
Eventually Karai stopped by a door and coughed into her hand before rounding a corner. Getting the hint, the four brothers sneaked upon the door and Donnie hacked into the security. The door opened to reveal a dark, cold, stone room. In the back were two cribs, also stone, with black material and a thin-looking mattress.
One of the cribs were empty.
The four humanoid turtles edged forward and Leo approached the crib which held a small baby girl who looked very similar to Jasper and himself.
"Hey there," Leo whispered, carefully picking her up. She didn't squirm and stayed quiet, watching him with curious blue eyes, "It's okay, me and your uncles are getting you out of here."
They all half expected Shredder to pop out of thin air, saying something along the lines of 'that is what you think, turtle.' He didn't.
"A'ight, there's the girl. Wot about de other one, huh?" Raph asked.
"She couldn't split in two, Raph," Mikey defended, "She's probably waiting for us in the corridor or something."
"What about the baby?" Donnie asked, uncertain.
Leo frowned and looked down at the small girl who was falling asleep in his arms.
Sighing, he handed her to Donnie, "You and Mikey need to get her back to the Shell Razor. Raph and I will get the other one."
Donnie nodded hesitantly and the two reluctantly left.
"Ready?" Leo questioned.
"Definitely." Raph answered, cracking his knuckles in a threatening manner.
The two left the room and, indeed, found Karai waiting for them. Leo made a cough-like sound and Karai looked at where they were hidden in the shadows before she began walking once again. She walked further into the warehouse and suddenly came to stairs.
"Shred-Head's probably down dere," Raph muttered bitterly, "Probably all just a trick ta separate us."
"You can go if you want." Leo muttered, jumping down and landing at the head of the stairs.
"Shredder is down there." Karai stated, "Though I doubt that will sway you from your decision to stay?"
"'Corse not!" Raph snapped, answering for the two of them.
"Then this is where I bid you goodbye. The next time we meet, it shall be in battle." Karai informed them before disappearing.
"Damn; I hate her." Raph hissed.
Leo ignored him and started down the stairs. It was darker and a faint sound was reaching his ears. Crying. A baby crying. His baby crying. A frown wandered its way onto Leo's mouth. He came to a corner and peeked around it. His small baby boy lay on the ground, bleeding. A discarded whip lay to the side of the room.
Raph bit back a snarl and Leo had to do the same.
'I don't see Shredder anywhere.' Leo though, frowning. Had they been too loud? Had Karai given them up? Did he even know they were there?
Suddenly, he noticed someone moving in the shadows and realised the room was crawling with foot soldiers. From the opposite side of the room from where they were, the Shredder, Saki Oroku, emerged from double panel doors. He wore his shredder armour and walked to the baby who instantly quietened as the man approached.
'We can't save him,' Leo thought, his heart plummeting. There were too many foot soldiers. Shredder was right there. Raph and himself were underground and far from an exit. They wouldn't make it out in time. Leo, Raph and the baby boy would all be prisoners. The others would be put in risk. They wouldn't know whether or not Raph and himself were safe unless…
Leo shook his head and swallowed the lump in his throat. He couldn't save his child. He had to leave. He had to leave him with the Shredder. He turned and started up the stairs and Raph followed reluctantly, glaring at his brother.
"What are you doing?" Raph hissed.
"We won't be helping him if we get caught, Raph," Leo replied, his voice cold and emotionless, "We can't save him. Not now, not with Shredder there, not underground, not when we're surrounded by foot soldiers. We can't." I can't.
"B-But-!" Raph snapped, forcing himself to sound calmer, "Leo, dude, Brother, we need to try, don't we?"
"We cant." Leo replied, his voice defeated.
"We can. He's right there, Leo! Right there! So close! And you're just going to give up? That easily? Don't you even care?" Raph asked, anger growing. How could he just give up, and leave an innocent little child – his innocent little child – with the Shredder?
"Shut it, Raph!" Leo snarled and Raph instantly realised he'd hit a nerve, "You think I want to leave?"
"Well, uh… N-No, but-!"
"But what, Raph?" Leo snapped.
"I-,"
"Shut up." Leo hissed.
"Leo, I-"
"Shut up. I heard something." Leo hissed.
The sound of footsteps reached Raph's ear slits. He tensed and reached for his weapons, feeling relieved that he would be capable to take his anger out now, on foot soldiers, while the emotion was still fresh. The two brothers stood shell to shell just in time. Foot soldiers surrounded them.
"Shredder knows we're here. We need to leave now. Towards the exit and stay close. Got it?" Leo demanded through gritted teeth, just about as glad as Raph to have someone to hit.
"Got it."
The two brothers smirked as the battle began. Leo and Raph took a step away from each other to give each of the two room to fight. A foot soldier aimed for Leo's head and Leo, in turn, ducked and swung his feet out, knocking the man over. Another foot soldier – most likely a newbie – tripped over the body, yelping. Others scowled and headed for the blue-clad turtle, weapons ready.
One with sais ran at his front and another man with a bó staff came at him from behind, though Leo jumped and the two attacked each other instead. Leo ducked as a weapon was swung at his head and twisted his body so that the offending weapon went flying. He then used his swords to attack one of the men blocking his exit.
Raphael wasn't quite sure what weapons or what type of foot soldiers were coming at him but knew that they were definitely falling quickly; his fresh anger bringing a renewed strength upon him. The fifth foot soldier went down. The sixth. The seventh. Raph copied Leo's manoeuvre of jumping up and rebounding off the wall to get closer to the exit before knocking another thug out. And then another.
On Leo's landing, he managed to use his inner thighs to knock two foot soldiers out by smashing their heads together. He twisted, his swords lashing out, and hit at least seven of the thugs. By the time the bodies landed on the cold, hard floor, Leo and his brother were much closer to the exit.
With thoughts of the Shredder, who was not so far away, they hit hard and injured many. Finally, they made it to the exit. Whilst running towards where the Shell Razor was hidden, Leo swore he could hear Shredder laughing darkly behind him. He didn't turn to look, though, as he knew he'd give into temptation and try to pummel the horrid man.
And he'd fail to do so.
A lump rose in Leo's throat at the thought.
The two arrived at the Shell Razor, failures. They thought of the fragile infant who they'd had to leave, lying on the stone ground, covered in his own blood, surrounded by it. They thought of the tortured screaming. They thought of the scars the small boy would now forever have, for the rest of his life. If he wasn't already dead, of course.
They arrived at the Shell Razor and when Donnie and Mikey saw them empty handed, they said nothing. Donnie handed Leo the small girl who he held to his chest.
'It's okay,' He thought to her, 'I'll get your brother out. I'll save him. I promise.'
A/N: A special Thanks to everyone who reviewed the previous chapter.
Thank You:

I hope this was enough for now, hopefully the next update will be up soon. (Hopefully).

Haha, in truth, I don't think the girl would have ended up hating Shredder. She's a peaceful little girl, as hinted through this chapter. Yes, the boy still needs to be rescued, but hopefully the guys will find a way to rescue him. You never know, though… 3:P
Beetlejuice2000
Here Karai is, showing the honour she's always speaking of. Too bad she didn't show enough to help save both babies, though
tmntlover2013
I loved the part the baby pooped on Shredder, too. It was way too fun to write. xD

Thank you, I hoped for the chapter to be cute-sie.

Thanks for the review

As a said in the PM I sent you; you may be mistaking my "spelling mistakes" as mere cultural differences. Then again, I just may need to get a closer look at my writing. :P
Sorry I took so long to update, I hadn't realised how long it has been :/
MutantGirl95
Here's the update. Sorry it took so long to update. Hopefully the next one will come up sooner. :)

I hoped you would like the amusing scene. I loved the idea of Shredder's own devious plan bringing havoc upon him and was all-too-happy (and I mean all too happy! xD) to introduce another baby-poops-on-main-character scene. xD And yes, Karai has helped with the rescue of the lil' girl in this chapter. I won't say what happens with the other little guy yet, though 3:)
