Hey guys! I hope you enjoy it :)

xGrellSutcliffx: What-ever gave you that idea ;)

Disclaimer: I don't own Death Note and Fairy Tail. I only own Seika Yagami. Alexandra Déchéry belongs to my friend.

A week later

Christmas break was over and school started again. Light was in his room even more often than before, but I wasn't as upset this time. The entrance exams were coming and he wanted to go to To-Oh University, which was a big help for his futur caree. The presence of Lust was unsettling the first couple days. I didn't know her very well and she didn't make any effort to share more about herself. However, I noticed she spared a lot of looks towards Light and when kira was mentioned. I wonder why's that?

At the present time, I was in my last period, which was cooking class. Oddly, Mr. Michealis didn't start the class as usual.

"All right class, I hope you remember before the winter break I asked the Master if we could open a small bakery," he started. Oh, I remember, it was a project he's been working on for a while now. I signed the sheet very excitedly when he said he'll need help with the cooking and waitressing. This could be a great opening on what managing a bakery shop looks like.

"The Master thought about my request and…" he paused to make an effect. "He accepted." We clapped for our teacher and happy that his idea came through "This is also a good oppurtunity for those of you who wishes to become chef in the futur. I have chosen a student among you who will experience the running of a bakery. All the student will do is provide some pastries for the store and do some waitressing," he explained.

"A student huh," Lexie thought out loud and glanced at me. "I bet he chose you." I didn't respond, but I really wanted it to be me. I love baking and the more I think about it the more I believe chef is something I want to be.

"The student I chose is Seika Yagami," he announced. The class applauded and I beamed with joy. "Thank you so much Mr. Michealis," I thanked and bowed in gratitude.

"The shop will be open in about 3 to 4 days. I expect some cakes made from you that we can put on display. At the end of class I will give you a short list of cake you can easily make. As for the rest of the class, I need some volunteers from students who wishes to be waiters," he added. "Miss Yagami, don't let me down," he said, but with encouragement. "Yes sir," I said with determination. I couldn't wait to tell my brother.

"All right, that was the announcement and now let's get started," he said.

"That's great that you were chosen for this," Lexie applauded. We were at our lockers preparing to head home. "I know it means a lot to you."

"It does make me very happy." I couldn't stop smiling at this new prospect. "I saw some of the cakes and most of them are pretty easy to do."

"Of course you would say that," Lexie giggled. "Well I'll support you all the way!"

"Thank you Lex, it means a lot."

"No problem at all! Anyways, I'm heading home. See you tomorrow," Lexie said and waved goodbye.

"Bye!" I waved and went to my brother.

"Hello Seika," he greeted.

"Hey Light!" I said. We left the campus grounds and I announced the big news. "Guess what Light, the academy opened a new bakery!"

"Really? That's great I know how much you love baking," he said smiling.

"I'm so happy," I said joyously. The rest of the way, I mostly took the conversation by talking about all the recipes that I was going to cook and Light would occasionally comment. We finally arrived home and tried to open the door, but it was locked.

"Looks like nobody is home," I noticed.

"You're right," he said and took out his key to unlock the door. The moment I stepped inside I had this strange feeling we were being watched. I lingered at the entrance for a minute, but shook my head and went to the dining room.

"I'm going to do my homework," I said.

"All right," Light called out as he was heading for his bedroom. I took out my things and placed my pocket mirror beside me, but Lust wasn't there. That's odd, she's usually here this time around. "I'm going for a walk. Do you mind staying at the house alone for a little while?" Light asked. I shook my head.

"I'll be fine, have a nice walk," I said. He gave me a peck on the cheek and left the house. Once the door closed that eerie feeling came back, but I shrugged it and concentrated on my homework not knowing that I should have taken more in consideration that feeling.

Outside POV

Soichiro Yagami sighed and held the bridge of his nose. He couldn't believe it came to this. Right now, he was watching the cameras that were hidden inside his own home. Of course, only a certain detective had the power to do that. A man sitting in a crouch position beside him was watching the monitors with unblinking eyes. He wore a plain white shirt and baggy jeans. He had messy black hair and black eyes with pouches under them. This odd looking man was the great detective L. At the moment he used the alias Ryuzaki to hide his identity. They were watching the monitors and no one was home at the moment until they heard the door open. It was Light and Seika coming back from school.

"Light Yagami and Seika Yagami. According to the person who installed the cameras, Light's checking if anyone goes into his room while he's gone. Other than that, his room held nothing suspicious. As for Seika's, she had everything a ten year old should have. Let's move into Light's room. Okay, switching to camera #85," Ryuzaki said. The cameras were now showing Light's room from every angle possible. They saw him getting a coat from his closet and going back out replacing the little paper from in his bedroom door.

"So he is, I didn't realize he went to such lengths. Might there be something in there that he wants nobody to see?" Soichiro asked.

"Well, considering he's 17, it isn't all that unusual. I've done it myself for no reason at all," Ryuzaki commented.

"…" Soichiro deadpanned not sure how to respond to that.

"I'm going for a walk. Do you mind staying at the house alone for a little while?" Light asked. Seika shook her head.

"I'll be fine, have a nice walk," she said. He gave her a peck on the cheek and left the house.

"Seika Yagami, the youngest of the family," Ryuzaki started.

"…?" Soichiro asked.

"She was born on February 12 in 1993. At the age of five she had a terrible car accident. After a week in being in a coma, she was declared dead. However, she started to breath again and was brought back to life-"

"How do you know all those things?" Soichiro interrupted. L gave him the 'I'm the greatest detective' look, which Soichiro quickly understood.

"It says in her file that she changed school once before attending Fairy Tail academy. Can you enlighten me about this?" he asked.

"Well, I can only tell you what I know. After she came out of her coma, she attended school a week later. At first it seemed fine, she liked it and she had a couple of friends already, but… One night Light brought her back and she was crying and kept saying she wanted to change school. She never said why and we didn't want to see her unhappy especially after the accident. Doing our search for another school we came across the academy," The father smiled at the memory. "She instantly fell in love with the school and everything was okay. We've tried to coax some answers, but she remains tight lip to t his day."

"Yes, I noticed that she doesn't follow the family in politics," commented L.

"All right! I'm finished, let's start cooking," Seika declared. The two glanced back at the monitors and saw her starting to take out ingredients from the cupboards.

"Looks like she's going to bake something," stated L. This time his focus was on the screens.

"Come on little sis, at least one piece!" Sayu pleaded. The small chef just finished baking her fourth cake and Sayu was begging her to give her at least one piece.

"No, these are for the new bakery," she said firmly.

"You're to mean to your sister Seika," Lust chuckled. The woman reappeared a little while ago without notice as usual.

"Now Sayu, let Seika do her baking. Anyways, diner's ready, can you call Light down?" mom asked.

"Sure," Sayu said. "Hry Light! Dinner is ready!" There was a click and Light's footsteps could be heard coming down. They all sat at the table, but Sayu was at the television screen watching one of her 'boring' shows according to Seika.

"Hideki Ryuga! I swear he's perfect! How come no one in my class is like that?" Sayu said staring at the 'beautiful' actor. He's not that cute thought Seika.

"Sayu, just eat your diner," Sachiko sighed.

"I'll eat later," she replied. At task force HQ, L was still watching the monitors with Soichiro. He pulled out a cellphone and called Aizawa for a report on the other family they were investigating.

"Hello, Mr. Aizawa, are the Kitamura's watching television now?" he asked.

"Yes, he's not home, but the other four are watching while they eat diner. It's channel four," Aizawa responded.

"Watari, please contact the broadcasters and tell them to play our message," Ryuzaki said.

"Very well." A minute later, Sayu noticed the message that was sent. "Huh? What's this? ICPO? They're saying that in response to the Kira murders Interpol has decided to dispatch a force of 1500 investigators to Japan from various countries to help solve the Kira case," Sayu read. "1500 detectives? Wow…"

"Aren't they going overboard?" Lust inquired.

"Well, it is about the Kira case," Seika added. The other's thought she was responding to Sayu's statement.

"The ICPO sure is stupid," Light commented.

"What?" Sachiko, Sayu and Seika wondered.

"I mean, there's no point in making this announcement. If they're going to send all those people here to investigate, shouldn't they keep it a secret? Even the FBI agents who were secretly investigating were killed by Kira," Light explained. "Why would this be any different? If you ask me this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to shock Kira in the hopes that he reveak himself somehow. Quite frankly I wouldn't be surprise is Kira sees right through this."

At the HQ L smirked at Light's clever observation. "Your son's clever, isn't he."

"Hmm! Yes well..." Soichiro said. Back at the house Light finished his meal first. "Thanks for diner mom." He walked towards the cupboard and took out a bag of chips.

"Huh? You're eating a bag of chips right after diner? Your good looks will go down the drain if you keep that up," Sayu mocked.

"Says the girl who sneaks chips and bags of sweet in her room and when she thinks no one is watching. I'm surprised you still fit through the door," Seika retorted with an evil grin.

"Sayu," mom scolded. The teenage girl merely rubbed the back of her head a her mother's scolding, but sent daggers at her little sister for spilling her secret.

"It's a late night snack for studying," Light interrupted before a cat fight started between his two sisters.

"I'm done too," Seika said. She placed her dish in the sink and immediately went back to her baking.

"When does the bakery opens?" Sayu asked.

"Mr. Michealis said in 3 to 4 days," she answered. She looked at the list of cakes. "All right next up is a cake named Charlotte. Huh, that's an odd name to give for a cake." She rolled her sleeves up and went back to work. At HQ L was curious about this bakery and decided to go on the school's website and did see the announcement. He took note of the address thinking of visiting it... Solely for the case of course.

Three days later

Seika's POV

Today was the grand opening of the bakery. Lexie, Lucy, Erza and Levy were chosen to be the waitresses.

"All right girls, in about 15 minutes the shop will open. As you can see, we already have some costumers," Mr. Michealis said.

"Yes Mr. Michealis," we exclaimed. We did the last preparations and the bakery was open. The girls and me were at the entrance waiting to greet our costumers. The door soon opened and the first costumer entered.

"Welcome to the Fairy Tail bakery," we chorused. I don't know how many times we had to say that line until we got it right. Lucy was the one who took the first costumer.

"Well, I'm heading home," said Levy. It was getting a bit late and Lucy and Erza already left which left only Lexie and me.

"All right, see you tomorrow," I said.

"What a day," Lexie sighed.

"Yeah, we had a lot of costumers for the first day," I cheered. I heard the bell ring indicating another costumer arrived. "I'll take care of it."

"Okay," she said. I went to the entrance to greet the new arrival and I was greeted with one of the oddest looking person I have ever seen. He wore a plain white long sleeve shirt and baggy jeans. He had untamed black hair and dark black eyes with pouches under them as if he hadn't sleep for days. I quickly regained myself and smiled.

"Hello sir and welcome. It's a table for one?" I asked.

"Yes," he said. I noticed he had a very low monotonous tone.

"All right, please follow me." As we went towards the table, I noticed he walked with his back leaned forward not showing his full stature. "Here you are." He proceeded to sit in the booth, but didn't sit like a normal person. He sat in a crouched position and I noticed he wore old running shoes with no socks. "Here is the menu. Just press this little button once you've made your choice," I explained. He simply nodded and I walked back to Lexie and quickly informed her.

"Lexie!" I whispered.

"What?" she asked.

"You have to check out this customer."

"Um, okay?" she asked. I pulled her hand and we hid behind the counter to sees the odd looking man. The stranger was still looking at the menu and he held it with his thumb and index finger as if it was a delicate object.

"Wow, that's not something you see everyday," she agreed. We quickly went back to the kitchen to not get noticed and decided to wash the dishes to occupy ourselves.

"I can't believe he actually sits like that," Lexie said.

"I also noticed her wore old running shoes with no sock," I added.

"... Eww," we said grossed out. The familiar bipping noise was heard indicating he had made his decision.

"I'll be back," I said. I went to see the strange man to take his order. "All right, what can I get you?"

"I would like a cup of coffee and a piece of every cake you have available," he stated.

"Wha- Uh I mean, if that is all, I'll be back as soon as possible," I said. Is this guy crazy? How will he eat all of it? I went back to the kitchen and took the trolley.

"What are you doing?" Lexie asked.

"The man just asked a piece of every cake we have in the bakery," I explained

"What! He sure is a gluton?"

"That he is. Oh and could you do a cup of coffee?"

"Sure." I took a piece of every cake we had and placed it on the trolley, it took the bottom and the top of it.

"Here's the coffee," Lexie said.

"Thanks." I walked back to the front of the restaurant. "Sorry for the wait. Here is your coffee and your pieces of cake." I gave him the coffee with the little jar of sugar cubes. I started to place the plates containing the pieces of cake and I noticed him putting a lot of sugar cubes in his coffee. I think he put at least 8 cubes in it.

"I hope you enjoy," I said.

"One moment miss," he said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Will you join me?" he asked.

"Uh… Well, I can't sorry, I'm working," I apologized.

"When does you shift ends?" he asked. Okay, he's starting to scare me.

"I must apologize sir I'm called in the kitchen. Hope you enjoy your order," I said and left with haste. I went back to the kitchen to talk to Lexie.

"So, how's our glutton?" she asked.

"He just asked me if I wanted to eat cake with him," I answered.

"What! Oh no! He's a pedophile and he wants to kidnap you and hurt you," Lexie rambled. She hugged me almost squishing me to death. "NOOO! I don't want you to go," she wailed. I sweat drop at her attitude.

"You're going to far with this," I said.

"What's all the commotion?" Mr. Michealis asked as he walked out of his office.

"Noth-" I started, but was cut off by Lexie and her drama.

"Some weirdo asked Seika to come eat with her," she exclaimed. I sighed.

"Weirdo?" he asked.

"What she means is a costumer asked me of I wanted to join him," I explained.

"That is worrisome. An older man asking a young girl out of the blue to eat with him," he frowned. "I'll take care of our guest. You two should head home."

"Thank you sir," I agreed. Lexie and I changed from our uniforms and headed out from the back door. However, I still had the image of that stranger in my mind.

So L did his first appearance in front of Seika. Not the best way, but you know L :P

Alert and Review! :D
