The weight reminded him what he wished he could forget. The golden hand glimmered and took a little more of his energy every second. Always a little more than his real hand would've. It was a constant reminder of what he had lost – what he would never be again.

He hadn't seen her in years – not since she was a little girl. The girl he wished more than anything to keep close to himself, to be able to care for more than just an uncle.

Jaime Lannister walked though the halls escorted by the dornish guards. He was summoned to meet with Prince Doran and imagined they would discuss what had transpired.

When the door opened he instantly recognized Myrcella, Trystane, Ellaria and the dornish Prince.

But he couldn't put a name to the blond in red sitting next to Myrcella. Her dress was made from silk and was similar to the one his daugh – his niece was wearing. He wondered why she was there for a second but his thoughts were clouded with wonder as he stared at the woman – she was beautiful. And beautifully – horribly – familiar.

"Prince Doran." The lord nodded in greeting.

"Ser Jaime." Doran responded.

"Princess Myrcella," Jaime turned to her in greeting and noticed the golden fabric wrapped around her body. "What a lovely dress" he said forcefully.

"You don't like it?" She asked with an innocent tone but almost challenging the knight while the woman beside her snickered.

"I'm just worried you'll be cold."

"No, I've found that the dornish climate agrees with me." She answered and suddenly Jaime heard a growl. From behind the couch where Myrcella was sitting on came out an animal – a lion cub he realized or better, a little lioness.

He took several steps back in fear and his breath caught in his throat when a second great big cat appeared – this one a male and clearly full grown. He looked around the room and saw that no one was surprised, alarmed or calling for help. Doran and his son looked very uncomfortable and Ellaria a little unstable in her seat but Myrcella and the other woman looked like it was the most normal thing.

"It's alright uncle Jaime. This is Jewel." Myrcella said reaching to stroke the first cats head. "She's very sweet once you get to know her." Jewel purred and laid at the nine and ten girls feet. The golden animals seemed a bit larger then he would expected them too be.

The lion sat beside the mysterious woman's feet and stared at him silently. Observing.

"You truly don't have to be scared." Jaime heard the woman in red say. "Golden here is just an old man, he is very protective but you shouldn't worry about him."

"I don't believe we've been introduced." He said sitting on the couch, turning to look to the unknown woman and moving a little farther from the giant beasts.

"No I believe we haven't." She answered and didn't say anything else.

LANNISTERLANNISTERLANNISTER

Green bright wild fire eyes had been anxious in waiting.

The same eyes that usually crinkled at the corner with every smirk, that knew how to impose respect if needed and fear when useful. The eyes that earned her countless nicknames for their bright coloring, clear pure green that could be used to paint fields if the color was found in a painters pallet. With specs of gold they one of her more prominent features – and they were key to hiding what she felt.

The girl whom they belonged to sat calmly the entire time and no one would notice the tightness in her chest – even she herself had been denying it was there. But when the doors opened to reveal Jaime Lannister she knew she wouldn't wake up in her bed in the middle of the night a second later with sweat dripping down her skin. This was real.

The comment he made over Myrcella's dress was expected, stupid in her opinion but expected – the fear in his eyes when they caught sight of Golden and Jewel was too.

Now it seemed that his attention was drawn to her and she found herself wondering if it was recognition she saw in his eyes – and found herself having to hide the caught breath in her throat when the hope clawed to the pit of her stomach.

His green eyes looked on hers and he asked about introductions. It was an almost comic situation.

"This, lord Jaime, is her grace queen Annalisa Jade of Aksum." She heard Prince Doran say and quietly thanked all divinities she knew for that small mercy. She wasn't sure she would be able to say anything – though the title was unnecessary to her.

"Aksum?" The one handed knight said surprised – he knew where the kingdom was geographically - far, very far east, literally on the other side of the world - but not much else "Well you have travelled a long way your grace." He was very well spoken she noticed "you should've come too kingslanding for a proper welcome too the seven kingdoms."

"There is no need for formalities truly." She said "and I'm only here for a little while, I'll be going back home soon." She said with a small smile.

"Well I apologize in the name of the king anyway." He said breaking eyes contact and allowing her to take a deep breath.

As the conversation went on she chose to stay quite. It wasn't her place to say anything and she didn't even know what she would say, her input wasn't needed – plus the truth was that she really shouldn't have been there, but apparently, Myrcella already learned how to convince her of something in the short time they knew each other.

It was decide that Trystane would accompany his betrothed to kingslanding and have a seat on the council. Annalisa was glad that the couple managed to stay together. Ellaria was – of course – unhappy and made a scene, but that was another expected thing. The young queen had to hold herself back, if it was not for Doran she would already have skinned the snake.

After Jaime's man Bronn was appropriately punished and the discussions wrapped up they dispersed. Myrcella was wanted in kingslanding as soon as possible so they would leave in the morning.

Lisa didn't know what she expected, so she wasn't sure what she felt now that she had met him.

LANNISTERLANNISTERLANNISTER

Myrcella was happy.

It all went better then expected that day and she would be able to go back to Kingslanding with Trystane – she would marry the man she loved and would see her mother again.

The young girl missed her mother terribly, she really did. Her mother was always there with her – she soothed her fevers, held her when she could not sleep, read her books when she asked before she could read, she was always there.

Now it would all work out.

Even more than all of that, Myrcella met Annalisa.

It happened weeks prior when the young queen arrived in Sunspear and didn't have much contact at first. Myrcella would see her and the dark haired man that came with her around the gardens but they didn't speak properly until prince Doran invited them all to a dinner.

It was then that she noticed it the first time. The resemblance she shared with the woman. Trystane made a light hearted comment on how it was obvious that neither girls were from Dorn – their skin, hair, eyes and general features were the perfect give away.

Thats when she noticed – the blond of their hair was the same, and the green of their eyes were so very similar. Her nose was different as was her jaw bone – which was a little less sharp – but the resemblance was there.

Myrcella corned her the next day. She blurted out her suspicions in a very un-lady like way and stood there terrified of the response. And then she was horrified when Annalisa turned and walked away with out a word.

It took two days of anxiousness for the young princess to finally hear back.

That's when she heard the story. All of it.

How Annalisa found out Jaime Lannister was her father.

And it was then that Myrcella voiced, for the first time, her believe that he was her father as well.

LANNISTERLANNISTERLANNISTER

"How did it go?"

Annalisa jumped in fright when she headed the unexpected visitors voice heavy with accent as she distractedly entered her chambers. Golden let out a protective growl sensing his Anna's spook.

"Zachary!" She yelped "What are you doing in my room?" She asked with her mind still with him.

"So... not well?" The man with light brown hair asked again with a laugh "you seem," he started but chose to pick his words carefully "like your tensions are high." He finished from his position, laying on his side on the love seat.

"No they aren't, I'm not tense I'm – I'm fine." She said, or better, stammered.

"Of course Anna – Of course you are." He said standing up "you always are aren't you? I mean it's not like the man who shares your blood, and in another life you would have grown up calling 'father' is in the same building as you. Right?" He walked towards her and crossed his arms "Not like the person who has all the last answers for your dark and damaged soul and holds the key to your past is a few minutes walk away. It not like he –"

"Alright!" she shouted "I understand what your saying." Taking a deep she moved around him and went to pour herself a glass of dornish wine from the bottle she kept in her room. "Maybe I'm not, completely fine." She conceded sipping the wine. Zach just scoffed.

"You do whatever you like Anne" He started "but don't do anything stupid please – your brother and Nate will skin me alive if we go back home and your anything other than the same as you left." He finished with a little laugh and grabbed a wine glass him self.

"Firstly I never do anything stupid." Annalisa stated practically throwing herself down on the couch in the living quarter of her chambers.

"I can get you a list if you want."

"And I don't even have time to do anything anyway." She continued ignoring her friend's comments. "Myrcella and Jaime Lannister are too leave too kingslanding at earliest convince tomorrow." She said closing her eyes "With Trystane in tow of course."

"So are we leaving tomorrow too? Now that you've seen him and met Myrcella as you wanted..."

"Probably." She said leaning to stroke her lions mane as he laid by the couch.

"And what about her? Myrcella I mean – your just going to leave? She'll be heartbroken. Won't you miss her." He said with almost pain in his voice – not managing to hide his care for the youngest blond. His comment about missing Myrcella more about himself than Annalisa.

"There's nothing I could do. We would leave sooner or later and you know it." She answered ending the topic.

LANNISTERLANNISTERLANNISTER

Zach left Annalisa's room a few hours later – they had been talking – and the young queen was left alone with her thoughts.

It had been an interesting day – interesting few weeks of she was honest. With everything that was happening she didn't know what to feel. She didn't know why, after so much time, she wanted to meet him.

She had been replaying those moments of discovering the first part of an enigma that had haunted her her entire life when she heard knocking on her door.

"Don't send me away." That was the first thing out of Myrcella's mouth when Annalisa opened the door.

"Myrcella what are you doing here?" She asked with an arched eye brow.

"I wanted to speak with you." The princess responded with a little smile. Once she walked in the room she walked straight to Lisa's couch.

"So," the princess started "How was your day?" She leaned against the couch.

"Myrcella." Anna said crossing her arms and raising her eyebrow. "What do you want?"

"I want to know how your day went." She answered seriously leaning forward bracing her for arms on her thighs. "I want to know how you are."

"Myrcella it's late, I'm tired and your going to leave early tomorrow, so please leave if you don't have anything important to say." The elder blond said.

"I'm not leaving tomorrow – we are leaving tomorrow." She said standing. "Your my sister please–"

"Half-sister if any kind" Annalisa interrupted "And you don't even know if he's actually your father." She knew that in that moment the words were uncalled for – she had been correcting Myrcella about their type of kinship since day one and the younger blond didn't know how to hide how the words hurt her.

"Still, you know." The princess started "you know he's your father. You just saw him for the first time in your life today and you tell me you're unaffected? I don't believe you." Most wouldn't believe that Myrcella Baratheon had as much passion in her as she did "So please come with us, to Kingslanding. I just found you." The tone of Myrcella's voice griped the young queens heart tightly.

Annalisa stoped to think.

This could end very badly – there were people who would love to know she was back in Westeros. She got mostly away from her past and it would be dangerous to go back.

But there was this tiny part in her that wanted to know. She didn't know why, she's never needed him before and didn't now but it could be interesting maybe, to find out what else she had in common with him that wasn't just eye color or hair – plus she wasn't sure she wanted to say goodbye to Myrcella just yet.

"Fine."

"So you'll come with us?" The hope in Myrcella's frighted Anna a bit – it meant responsibility.

"Yes. But we're taking my ship." When Myrcella crooked her head in question Annalisa responded "Its a lot faster. Aksum has the fasted Naval ever built, didn't you know?" She said calmly walking to where she had set her wine earlier at Myrcella's knock.

"Oh. Alright then." The princess responded "Well then. Good night" She said sending their conversation was over.

"Myrcella." Annalisa called out. When Myrcella stoped she continued "If I remember correctly – I was the one to find you." She finished with her back to the youngest blond hiding the small smile on her face

Myrcella Baratheon just smiles back at her probable sister. Just when she was leaving the ten and nine girl turned and asked "Zach, he's coming too right?"

"Yes, Zach is coming." Annalisa responded not exactly surprised he came up – Myrcella seemed to like him.

"Good." The princess sighed with a growing smile and walked out the door – Jewel following suit.

Tomorrow they leave for Kingslanding.
