Disclaimer : I own nothing except the plot. All characters except for those from HSM are made up. If the hospital b any chance does exist, I didn't know.
The next few days I didn't go to the hospital. I didn't go anywhere really. All I could think about was Gabriella and the way she was acting. I knew I shouldn't have yelled at her. It was a mistake, a big one if you ask me.
I was waiting for a reason to go and visit Gabriella. If I would just show up there I wouldn't have a reason to stay and she wouldn't have reason to talk to me. I wanted to talk to her so bad!
I tried to come up with multiple reasons, that maybe I still had something from her that I should give back or something like that. But I came up with nothing.
Suddenly, my little brother came in. "Are you still laying on your bed? It's almost noon!" he said as he sat down on the end of my bed with a basketball in his hands.
I sighed. "You know that girl from the hospital that I always go and visit?" I asked him. I never thought I would as an 11 year old boy about advice on this.
"Yeah, you haven't been going there lately. What happened?" he asked me in return while throwing the basketball up in the air.
I sat up in my bed and he threw the basketball at me. I caught it as I answered: "Well, last time I went there I kind of yelled at her and she was ignoring me so I just left, but I really miss her and I want to talk to her only I don't know how I should handle it."
"Well, you told me how these guys messed her room up? And you said her guitar was in two. I don't know if it is too much, but maybe you could do something with that," he responded before grabbing the basketball out of my hands and walking back out of my room.
My little brother was a genius! If I bought her a new guitar, she couldn't be mad at me could she? I got up and put on my shoes in fast tempo. I walked over to my closet where I had a little box with all my savings in. There should be enough in there for a new guitar. After taking the money I sprinted downstairs.
On my way out I saw my brother in the living room and shouted: "Thank you lil' bro, you are a genius!"
I ran out to the music store a few blocks away and within 5 minutes I had reached it. While looking at all the guitars in the store a guy came up to me.
"Can I help you?" he asked me. I turned to him and asked him what the best guitar in the store was. "Well he said," leading me over to the guitars in the back, "the best guitar is this one here."
He picked up a beautiful soft brown guitar. "Are you buying it for yourself?" he asked me. "No," I said, "I don't play the guitar." "Well then who are you buying it for if I may ask?" he asked me while he started tuning the guitar.
"I'm buying it for a.. a friend." I answered him unsure of my own answer. "You're buying a guitar for a friend?" he asked me raising his eyebrows. "Yes," I answered him, "well look we kind of fell out when we had a fight a few days ago and I want to make it up to her."
He smiled, putting the back down after he finished tuning it. "Well then, it isn't the cheapest guitar though. Are you sure?" he asked me. I nodded and picked the guitar up. "I'm sure," I said.
The price didn't matter. She deserved the best and this had to make it up to her right? She couldn't stay mad at me after this for sure.
After buying the guitar I went home to write a letter and put it with the guitar.
Dear Gabriella,
I don't really know what to put here, I'm not good at these kind of thing so I'm just going to try my best. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what happened. I'm sorry for yelling at you like that. I'm sorry for every stupid decision I ever made and most of all I'm sorry for not treating you the way you should be treated. You should be treated like a delicate rose because that's what you are. You're so precious and you shouldn't every lose your true self because I honestly think you're amazing. The truth is Gabriella, that I love you and I hope that this guitar makes up for the things I did wrong. I know you love to sing and play the guitar. I'm sorry those guys did that to your room.
Love,
Troy
I sighed hoping this was enough. I put the letter on top of the guitar in its case and I went over to the hospital.
As I walked into the hospital I went straight to Gabriella's room and knocked on the door. After hearing a faint come in I walked into the room.
'Hi..," I said as I held the guitar case in front of me. "I uhh.., I've got something for you," I told her while walking over to her as she was sitting on her bed. I put the guitar case on the bed and I stood in front of her.
She opened the guitar case and I heard her gasp. "Troy.. you shouldn't of done this!" she said shocked. "I uhh, I wanted to. Look I'm really sorry for everything and- well you should just read the letter," I said nervously while running a hand through my hair.
She picked up the letter and started reading it. After a while she looked up with tears brimming in her eyes. "Troy.." she said.
Well here comes the moment of truth.
A/N: I'm so sorry guys! I'm just as sorry as Troy is! As some of you may know, idk if anyone is interested in reading my profile, I've been depressed and I was OK for a while, but I guess I'm not. I'll try updating more because writing does make me happy and you guys truly mean a lot to me.
