Chapter 7

Carrie lay down and she fell asleep before her head hit the pillow. Loki smiled and pulled the covers over his future bride.

"Good night, Carrie," he said, softly. He walked out, deep in thought. Now, what to do about the two mortals in the dungeon?

He walked down to the dungeon and found them both asleep. This will be fun, he thought. Loki walked over to the cell and then appeared inside of it.

"TIME to WAKE UP!" Loki yelled.

Billy and Chris jolted awake.

"Oh, it's you," Chris pushed her dark hair out of her face.

"Yes, mortals, it's me. I've come to make you an offer."

"What about our trial?" Billy asked.

"Well, you see, mortals, I now have a wedding to prepare for, so that gives me enough to do already. I will give a choice," Loki told them.

"Wait! You're getting Married?!" Chris looked at Loki like it was the most disgusting thing she'd ever heard.

"Now for your options. One, I could just kill you both," said Loki.

"What's option two?" Billy questioned.

"Option two is that you both agree to become my and my future wife's servants. It will make up for the torment that you put her through," said Loki.

"Wait! Carrie is going to marry you?!" Chris was even more alarmed.

"Yes, Miss Hargenson, Carrie is going to be my wife. Now, you two are wasting my time. So what will it be? One or two?"

Billy turned to Chris, "Well, at least it's a chance for us to live."

"Yeah, but to live in a world half ruled by Carrie White seems kind of insane," said Chris.

"I know, but what's more important, your revenge or your life?" Billy said.

Chris took a moment to consider, "Okay, fine. We will do it."

"Excellent choice, Miss Hargenson. Maybe there is hope for the two of you, yet," said Loki.
