They appeared in a ward at St. Mungos, the crack drawing the gaze of those around them.

"Thank you, Kreacher." She said quickly.

"Helena!" Ginny rushed to her and took her in a hug.

"Hey Gin, long time no see." She greeted.

"That's your own fault. You were supposed to visit this summer!" Helena had to resist placing a hand on her stomach.

"What in the name of Merlin happened, Ginny?" Helena asked, changing the subject.

"Andy took Teddy out for the day to Diagon Alley and there was a small attack. Teddy was fine, and we caught almost everyone involved, but Andy was injured. She has to stay here for at least a month."

"Auntie Helena!" A voice distracted Helena.

"Teddy!" Helena bent down to envelop her godson in a hug, Luna following quickly behind. "Are you alright, my little wolf?"

Teddy sniffed, and held on tighter. "Yeah, will grammy be airtight?" He asked.

"Of course, she will be!" Helena reassured, hoping she wasn't wrong.

"The doctor said we could visit her." Luna informed dreamily.

"Well, let's!" Helena encouraged, allowing Luna to show the way.

After they spoke for awhile, Teddy fell asleep next to Andromeda in bed. Taking the opportunity, Helena began to brooch the subject with Ginny, Luna, and Andy.

"I would be happy to take Teddy while you recover, but there is something I have to tell you." Helena caught the interest of all three women. "I didn't visit this summer because I found out I was pregnant." She said quietly.

"Oh, Helena!" Ginny gushed.

Helena eyed Andromeda quickly, hoping she wouldn't disapprove too heartily. "That's wonderful, dear." Andy smiled, causing relief to flood through Helena. "How far along are you?"

"Twenty weeks." Helena smiled, placing a hand on her stomach.

Ginny and Luna insisted on feeling the bump and they quietly giggled.

"The father, however, doesn't know about me. Us." She amended. "So if Teddy came with me, we'd need to put a stasis on his abilities. I wouldn't want to shock Klaus with his nose turning to that of a pig's quickly."

The girls laughed, remembering Tonks doing the same. Andromeda sighed. "I think that's best. Until I can protect Teddy, I'd like him away from any danger."

And Helena felt slightly guilty for not telling them the full story, but Teddy would be safe with her, even if she had to leave the plantation. "I'll let Kreacher know to gather some of Teddy's things. Anytime you need him, call Kreacher, he can find me." She informed.

"Thank you, dear. It's not the best time for you, but-"

"Don't say another word. I love Ted, and it's the least I could do for Remus and Tonks." Helena smiled softly at Andy. "I do want to wait a little longer to tell him about the baby, though. Just in case something happens." She said softly looking at the boy in Andromeda's arms.

"The baby will be fine." Ginny said, knowing her friend's worries.

"If Ron was here, he'd say something horribly uncomforting and then Hermione would smack him." Helena said with a sad smile.

"They always had nargles swarming their ears." Luna said, attempting to comfort Helena.

"They'd be proud, dear." Andromeda said.

"Could you perform the spell to keep Teddy's appearance as is, please." Helena requested, changing the subject.

"I can." Luna offered and waved her wand, sealing Teddy with turquoise hair.

"I really should be going. I didn't get to tell Klaus where I was going." Helena sighed, not wanting to leave. It was nice to sit with her friends again, despite the circumstances.

"If you must." Ginny sighed as well. "We will have to come visit soon before the baby comes."

"That'd be nice."

"And once mom finds out, you'll have to visit." Ginny had attempted to fill in Ron's roll as best she could for Helena. Helena had been suffering for a long time. She had no family and her best friends had died tragically. "And I'm sure dad and my brothers will want to interrogate Klaus."

Helena choked on the water she drank. "I don't know about that last part." The girls laughed, but stopped suddenly when they realized Helena was serious. "Klaus and I got into a big fight. Like I haven't spoken to him since it happened and I don't intend to."

"What happened?" Andromeda questioned.

"I realized that once this baby comes, if its not Klaus' first priority, it will need a parent who will prioritize it."

"That is incredibly mature." Andromeda smiled. "You haven't found out the sex yet?"

Helena rubbed her stomach. "No, I haven't had the chance."

"Well, you're at St. Mungos, while Kreacher gets Teddy's things, and Andy is saying bye, let's find out!" Ginny laughed.

Helena smiled. "Yes, that sounds nice." She laughed as Ginny grabbed her and Luna and pulled her out of the room.

"Kreacher, would you mind bringing Teddy's things to my room?" She asked as she held Teddy's hand. She was relieved that Klaus and his siblings weren't at the plantation.

"So Ted, want to go play outside? There's a muggle game, soccer we could play. Or are you hungry?" Helena questioned.

"Let's play!" Teddy shouted excitedly, causing Helena to laugh.

"Come!" She pulled him towards the door, excited to play with her godson. She had Kreacher stock some toys, glad to see a ball. When she got outside to the gardens, she passed Teddy the ball. "Kick it back!" She smiled as he did so.

They played, Helena doing her best to keep up with Teddy while keeping her baby safe.

Klaus was surprised to hear Helena's laugh when he arrived home. She hadn't laughed since their fight. He tried his best to keep her safe while giving her freedom so she wouldn't feel claustrophobic and leave the plantation. He furrowed his brows when he heard another voice with her. He followed his hearing and was surprised to see Helena in the gardens tickling a young boy with turquoise hair. He couldn't stop the smile that came across his face as he watched Helena interact.

Helena felt like she was being watched and stiffened when she saw Klaus on the patio. She nodded her head to him before calling Teddy over to where he ran off to fetch the ball.

"Teddy, this is Klaus. This is his house." She introduced them.

"Hello, Teddy." Klaus smiled, knowing that Teddy could be a way to get Helena to forgive him. "Pleasure to meet Helena's favorite man." He shook his small hand mock-seriously.

"Why don't I make you some lunch, little wolf?" Helena asked, knowing she had to talk to Klaus.

Once Teddy was settled, Helena and Klaus walked to the next room and Helena collapsed tiredly in the couch.

"I wasn't aware we were expecting guests." Klaus said, trying to convey that it was a pleasant surprise for Teddy to be visiting.

"Yes, well, his grandmother was in an accident and he needs a temporary place to stay. It makes sense for him to stay with his godmother." Helena said stiffly. "If you don't think it's safe, I will take Teddy to another one of my homes. Or I can stay somewhere else in the quarter." She pursed her lips.

"None sense. I will ensure your safety." Klaus insisted.

"Well, I've heard that before." Helena hissed.

"Helena, I've apologized. But I was trying to help as well!" Klaus argued quietly.

Helena sighed angrily. "I don't want to have this fight again. I can't. My baby and Teddy are all that I can focus on. I don't have the energy to expel on you."

"Our baby." Klaus narrowed his eyes. "The baby is just as much mine as yours."

"Well than act like it, Klaus. Prioritize this baby above your need to beat Marcel in some pissing contest!" Helena was exasperated with Klaus' search for power.

"You have no idea what's going on!"

"Because you don't let me leave the house! Newsflash, Klaus! I'm not the meek girl you think I am! And I will die before our daughter is raised that way!"

"Daughter?" Klaus asked, suddenly quiet
. "I found out today." She shrugged, looking at her feet.

"A daughter." Klaus smiled and surprised Helena when he enveloped her in a hug, spinning her around, ending it with a peck on the lips.

Helena laughed, forgetting their fight for the moment. "You're happy?"

"Of course." Klaus laughed.

Helena heard Teddy's chair scraping, and she quickly told Klaus "Teddy doesn't know yet. I don't want him to know until everything is sure to be okay."

Klaus squeezed her hand. "Everything will be fine."

Helena had just put Teddy to sleep in her bed and was surprised to see Klaus waiting for her in the library.

"Hey." He looked at her.

"Hey." She smiled, causing him to reflect it. She walked over to him and sat on the arm of his chair. "What do you think of him?" She said nervously.

"Well, turquoise hair is a bold choice." Klaus teased.

"Well, I like it." She laughed.

"He seems like a normal, energetic boy." Klaus admitted with a chuckle.

"Oh, you have no idea." Helena smiled thinking of her godson. "I don't know how I will keep up with him and keep him entertained. I'm going to start to get huge soon." She rubbed her stomach.

"Good." Klaus laughed and pulled her into his lap and kissed her cheek, causing Helena to giggle. They hadn't acted so affectionate since their not-breakup. "That means we get to meet her soon." He hesitantly placed a hand on her stomach.

Helena smiled contentedly, not saying anything and buried herself into Klaus' chest. Klaus picked up the book he was reading and restarted the page, but refused to allow Helena off his lap. He smiled when he saw she had fallen asleep. He carefully put his book down and picked her up, taking her to her bedroom and tucking her in next to Teddy. He smiled when he saw Teddy has moved closer to Helena already, still asleep. He kissed her forehead before leaving and shutting the door behind them, not wanting to disturb the sleeping pair.
