Well hello everyone! :)

Here's the new chapter of my story "Who are you? "

I really hope you enjoy it and thank you so much for reading and reviewing my chaps.

Love you all

Author's note:This and upcoming chapters were mainly imagined to describe Luana's personality and her connection to Ren/Kuon as well as with the whole plot. I really hope you enjoy this one ;)

Also, songs that I used in this chapter are "Bed of Roses", by Bon Jovi and "Left outside alone", by Anastacia.

Disclaimer:I do not own Skip Beat nor I own the songs I used in my chaps.

While Ren was trying to fight with his memories and Kyoko still in her dream-full-of-fairy-land, at the other side of the city, the girl just woke up from a nightmare.

Luana's penthouse, near midnight

"Sitting here wasted and wounded, at this old piano

Trying hard to capture the moment,

This morning I don't know

'Cause a bottle of vodka

Is still lodged in my head

And some blond gave me nightmares

I think that she's still in my bed

As I dream about movies

They won't make of me when I'm dead"

The girl entered the room with the moon's reflection in her frightened golden eyes full of tears. She fully entered the living room, her pale skin shining in the moonlight. Remember the times when that same skin shone in the sunlight like gold. Her transparent shirt was sticking to her shaking body, revealing a beautiful figure of a goddess. Goddess of beauty. Her long, brown hair was tied up in a braid and falling down her left shoulder. She looked so weak. A bit of a fire could be found in her golden eyes. Luana, she looked so fragile.

"Now as you close your eyes, know I'll be thinking about you...", she sang. Her voice sounding so weak and painful.

"While my mistress,she calls me

To stay in her the spotlight, again...",she gulped, then coughed, collapsing on the floor.

"Tonight I won't be alone
But you know that don't
Mean I'm not lonely I've got nothing to prove
For it's you that I'd die to defend
", was heard from the stereo. She opened her eyes and in one spasmotic movement, she was up again.

"I wanna lay you down

In a bed of roses...", she hit a wall with her fists, tears rolling down her cheeks. Hot tears of anger, sadness and despair. She was singing the last few lines from the bottom of her lungs and heart.

"Lay you down... On a bed of roses", she finished, her voice finally betrayed her. She rolled down the wall, hugging her knees. She grabbed the empty bottle amd just smashed it against the wall. It's been a long time since she last felt like this. She started crying. Not histerical cry. It was a cry of a girl, tortured by people and life itself. A cry of a girl who lost everything. Honest, lonely cry of an empty, fragile girl. The quiet, painful sobbing filled the silent apartment mixing with the sound of rain that has just started. She took a deep breath, smiled and stood up.

"I wonder if you know

How it really feels

To be left outside alone

When it's cold-", another song was being played by her stereo, when she turned it off.

She opened one shelf in her kitchen and took out the bottle of Martini. She filled one glass and headed towards the living room. She spotted broken bottle on the floor, cracks shining like diamonds in the moonlight, so clear, besides the rain. The sound of pouring rain on her windows in the penthouse was calming her down.

"That's right. Be histerical again, Luana. Nice job", she said to herself carefully walking among the cracks, watching not to step on one.

"Ouch! ", she screamed realizing that one of the cracks found the way to her foot. She spilt a bit of Martini while trying to reach the sofa.

"Sh!t", she noticed a half empty glass and ome drop trailing down her hand. Putting the glass on the tea table, she sat on the sofa and concentrated on her foot. With one fast move, she removed the piece from her flesh. It hurted like God damn hell. Swallowing a sob, she looked at the crack. Small, shaped like diamond, her blood dripping from the top to her left hand. One droplet of blood fell on a pink leather bracelet. Enough to wake a memory. A memory of the day she died. Jessica. Her best friend. She could clearly remember Jessie's blood covering the bracelet she made for Luana. Her blue eyes closing slowly in a lullaby.

[FLASHBACK]

"Jessica!"

Her best friend was breathing hard, holding a hand on her chest, where bullet got her. Blood was covering her white t-shirt. I ran to her side and placed her head in my lap. I desperately tried to reach my phone, them spotted it 5m away. I must have lost it while running. Jessie was lying on dirty ground in our schoolyard.

"No, it's fine. Call no one. Just stay here, okay?", she asked me. I nodded, eyes full of tears. Her voice was becoming rougher with every word.

"Hey, don't cry. Please don't cry", she moved her bloody hand and whipped my tears, leaving a trace.

"I should call hospital", I said. She shook her head weakly.

"No. I don't wanna dye in ER vehicle with sounds of syrens and all those shity things trying to save my life in vain", she laughed sarcastically. Her sense of humor in this situation was so painful to me.

"Instead, I want to dye here. With you by my side, like we always were. Watching each other's back, right?", she said playfully. By the look of her eyes and the tone of her voice, I knew she doesn't have mich time left, so I just nodded.

"Sing me something", she said. My expression was puzzled.

"Like a lullaby to eternity, ya know? Last song I hear. Sing me something".

"What do you want me to sing?", I asked ready to obey her last wish.

"Mmmm, that song, "Hijo de la Luna" ", she whispered. I started singing. I sang, watching her hand leave her chest, holding mine tight. Tears pouring down her face, blood covering the bracelet.

Her blue eyes slowly closing. Releasing her last breath. Last whisper.

"Never give up... And never...lose...hope...", she whispered. She died.

I hugged her tight and cried my soul out.

[FLASHBACK ENDS]

"Aaaaarrrrrggghhhh!", Luana screamed to the world.

She stood up, breathing heavily, shaken by one memory after another.

She got to her wall made of glass and moved the covers reveling a breathtaking view of entire Tokyo, spreading in front of her.

"Hope? Better hold on to that one. After all, that's all I have left", she sighed.
