Hello, everyone! Sorry for taking so long! Anyway, I hope you love this new update. I worked on it all night.

Judai rushed around the sandwich shop he had been working at for about two weeks now. He thoroughly enjoyed his new job, just not working with difficult customers. A group of three guys, rowdy from whatever reason were being really disrespectful to others in the shop. This wasn't the first time it happened either. They were in once a week for their day away from whatever plagued them. Judai could sympathize but not for them. Obviously their days of away time were mutual. Judai quickly shuffled over to the table where they sat and plopped down three subs and two sodas. Judai smiled routinely and moved to his next order.

Judai had learned the ropes of the shop pretty quickly. This was both a blessing and a curse though. It was easy for him to do everything he was assigned, clean the bathrooms, wait tables, work the cash register. That was great for possibly getting a promotion. Unfortunately with his predictable duties and his quickness it was also easy for his mind to wander. He had been stuck in his own head for so long recently it was hard to transition out of it. There really wasn't anyone to talk to at his job or by his motel room. He hadn't bothered to keep in touch with Alexis and he couldn't look Jehu in the face after he questioned his sanity.

If Judai was honest, he had been guilty ever since he talked to Alexis. Going behind Jehu's back seemed just too mean. Who cared if he was crazy? Then Judai realized that he did. He did care that Jehu was lucid. He needed him to be right about his statements. If not then how would he be able to prove his accusations about his parents?

Judai jumped when his co-worker, Blair, put her hand on his shoulder.

"Geez dude, don't have an attack. Someone's asking for you. He's cuuuute." Blair drew out the word like most teenagers do.

Judai rolled his eyes and walked to the counter. There waiting by the straw dispenser was Jehu. He was wearing a thin sweatshirt and a pain of blue jeans. His foot was tapping rapidly on the tile below his worn sneakers. Judai swallowed and kept his eyes anywhere but Jehu's bronze ones.

"What are you doing here?"

"When does your shift end?" Jehu asked quickly, like he was dying to get out of the shop.

"Uh…I get off in two hours, why?"

Judai studied Jehu's expression quickly. He seemed a bit on edge. His body language spelled out a bad night's sleep. Or maybe a few of them…in a row. Jehu locked his eyes on Judai and held them. "I'll come get you in two hours then. I need you to see someone." Then just as quickly as he came, Jehu was out of the shops' door. The bell at the top went off and then there was nothing. Nothing except the rowdy group at the back table making jokes about their co-workers.

Judai wished he had asked who he would be seeing. Well, he might not have even gotten an answer out of Jehu. He looked like he was about to jump through a window if he was cornered. As he clocked out of work he realized just how much he smelled like garlic. He sighed and changed into a red T-shirt he had at the back of his employee locker. Judai waved goodbye to Blair and made his way to the front of the shop. He looked at the tables just outside of the door. Jehu was sitting alone at one of the metal tables with a cigarette in his mouth. He looked looser than when he was before in the shop. Judai came into his field of vision.

"So who do you want me to see?" Judai asked quietly even though no one was around.

Jehu looked up slowly, his soft eyes finding Judai's face but then focusing on his eyes. He dropped them just as quickly and then rose from the chair. He crushed the cigarette underneath his sneaker and started walking. Judai followed. "I want you to see my brother. I just…I need him to know that he was wrong."

That was the only thing that Jehu said until they got to a shabby looking apartment building. Judai stuck close to the blunet as they climbed the stairs and walked along a long porch. They stopped at door six and Jehu messed with the lock.

"Is this your place?" Judai asked as Jehu led him in.

Jehu nodded and closed the door.

"So who's your brother? Do I…" Judai paused as it got a little tense in the room. "Did I know him?"

Jehu nodded again. "He should be here in a few minutes. I told him to meet us here."

Just as Jehu said, a few minutes later there were a few quick knocks on the door. Jehu jumped to answer it as Judai sat at the table beside the door.

"You called like five minutes after I got unpacked at Mom's. This is my first day back dude; could you wait a few business days?" A voice asked.

Jehu stepped back and allowed the person in.

"What was so urgent anyway?" A man a little shorter than Jehu came waltzing in. He had the same blue hair as Jehu but he wore cleaner clothes and carried himself like a professional.

The man glanced over at Judai and stumbled back. He went as white as the shirt he was wearing. "Jehu, what-"

"It's Judai," Jehu said as he closed the door again. "I told you he'd come back. I freaking told you, Johan!"

Judai looked at Jehu and then at Johan. He had a feeling that he was talking about the hope he had in high school.

"Stop it Jehu, I…stop it," Johan moved away from his brother and bent over to hug Judai.

Johan's voice was strained, like he was holding back tears. "It's been so long. Oh my God, Judai, where have you been?"

"He's not gonna remember you," Jehu said like he was also trying to control his emotions.

"What do you mean?" Johan broke the hug that Judai was forced into and looked at him.

"He's saying that I lost my memory in an accident shortly after Haou was killed," Judai said completely nonchalant, like the words were nothing more than an order of fries at the shop.

"What...Jehu, what is he talking about?" Johan almost whispered.

The three of them were sitting around Jehu's kitchen table. None of them were happy. Judai's face was blank, free of emotion because what they were talking about had been told to him before. Jehu's eyes were trained on Johan as he told him everything that Judai had said the first day they met. Johan was nodding along, his eyes narrowing at the information. Finally as Jehu finished and the silence returned the three of them looked around. Johan was the first to speak.

"I'm really glad you're back. I can't tell you how relieved I am that you're safe."

Jehu scoffed under his breath. Johan obviously heard it but chose to ignore his brother.

"Thanks, I'm sorry I don't remember you though. Were we really friends?"

Johan smiled. "The best, we would have all sorts of fun with Alexis, Chazz and them."

"You mean the ones who also doubted Judai would come back?" Jehu crossed his arms and glared at Johan.

"Jehu, stop it."

"No! For years, for years I said that he would come back! He would come back and then…"

"And then what? Judai doesn't remember anything from before Jehu. You dragged him into this even though he can't do anything about it. No one is investigating his case anymore! No one is going to-"

Jehu rose from the table in an instant. "I spent a year in that shitty hospital. I downed pills every day and endured Mom's tearful visits. Please…just fucking admit that you were wrong about me."

Johan stayed quiet.

Jehu slammed his fists on the table and went over to the front door. "I'm gonna get some air."

Judai watched as Jehu left. He was about to get up and walk after him when Johan put an arm on his shoulder.

Johan quickly moved his hand away. "He just needs a few minutes."

Judai wasn't particularly happy with being left with Johan. His opinion of him hadn't been high since Alexis first mentioned his hand in Jehu's hospitalization. Now that he was face to face with the guy that made Jehu feel like he was alone, he really wanted to punch him.

"I know how I must look to you," Johan said with his eyes focused on the table.

"Do you?" Judai narrowed his eyes.

"Yeah, I was the one that shipped Jehu off to Parks M.I. for believing in you. I would hate me too."

Judai sighed. "Unfortunately, I don't hate you. I talked to Alexis, the girl we used to hang out with I guess. She told me a little about you."

Johan nodded.

"She said that you really didn't want to send him there, that you were just worried about what he would do. So that's why I can't hate you. No matter how much I want to."

"I really shouldn't be saying thanks…but thanks. It's nice to know that you don't hate me." Johan motioned towards the door. "I know he does."

"He doesn't hate you. He's just hurt," Judai said leaning back in the chair. "So you went to college?"

Johan eased the tension out of himself. "Um…yeah. I'm studying to be a shrink. Ironic right?"

Judai nodded his head. "My parents had this bizarre idea of me being a doctor. It was drilled into my head since my senior year of high school."

Johan stared blankly at the wall for a bit. "I want you to know that I never believed that Jehu was crazy. Not once."

"Then why send him to Park's?"

"I didn't want him to waste his life waiting on you. I thought that if he went he could get over Haou and find another reason to live."

Judai stayed quiet. He didn't want Johan to know that what he was saying made sense. He didn't want to give him the sense that he understood what he was saying. He hated that he knew Johan was a good person. Judai looked over at Johan. The blunet had his eyes covered with his hand for the last minute. As much as Judai wanted to hate Johan, he put his hand on his shoulder. He gave Johan just this smidgen of comfort because after all, they were friends once.

Well, I'm crying now. I'm sorry that this chapter was so disgustingly sad. I'll be back with a sadder one in just a bit. Love you guys!
