Been a long time, but I had some time to write. Enjoy haha

It is now 2029. Johnny is nine, and Shawn is 51. Juliet and Carlton are 49 and 60 respectively. Alaya is 16, Dallas is eight, and Kaden is 14. Kerri McNab is also 16. Iris Vick and Layton McNab are 21 and 19 respectively and are both home from college for the weekend. Abby and James Guster are 10 and 12.

When the Lassiters arrived at the restaurant, they found quite a party raging. The Gusters were visiting from the Hamptons, and Shawn had organized a party in celebration. Most of the adults were just talking, and the kids were essentially all at the arcade.

Alaya went off to find her best friend, Kerri, who was with a few kids she knew from the station. Kaden seemed to be heading off to follow her.

"Hang on, Kade," Juliet told him. "I know you want to be with the older kids, but can you take Dallas over to the arcade first?"

Kaden sighed, but nodded. He accepted the five dollar bill she pressed into his hand, then walked his little brother over to the rest of the kids.

"Dallas!" Johnny greeted excitedly. "Guess what? My cousin Jaime is super good at the claw game!"

He gestured to the older boy who was blushing furiously.

Kaden gestured to James. "Come with me. These guys will be okay."

James rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm kinda supposed to stay with my sister."

Kaden shrugged. "Seems boring, but okay." He started to walk away.

"Wait!" James called. He ran to catch up with the tall teenager. "I'm sure Abby will be okay."

Meanwhile, Juliet and Carton were being reintroduced to Abigail Lytar. Having come back from yet another stint in Uganda, she ran into Shawn at a grocery store in Thousand Oaks and the two had rekindled their romance. She was now Abigail Spencer, and everyone was thrilled.

The teens were whispering gossip in the meantime. Kerri and Alaya were absolutely positive that Layton and Iris were dating, and they swore up-and-down that they had proof. Dobson's grandson, Charlie, was asking to see that proof, and Kerri and Alaya were trying to come up with reasonable proof that did not involve sight. Kaden laughed as he approached the group. "You don't need proof, Charlie. Just look at 'em. They keep looking at each other with longing."

James just smiled, as he honestly didn't know who any of these people were. He and his family only came to visit on occasion, as his parents had a far bigger house than any of their California family did, and they very rarely saw anyone but the Spencers and his grandparents.

"I have a plan," Kaden told them with a devious glint in his eye. He whispered it to them, and the teens laughed.

"That would never work," Alaya replied. "She would notice the chunks?"

"I have an idea," James spoke up. He whispered it to the group, and they gave high-fives all around.

"James, has anyone told you you're a little bit evil?" Kaden asked.

He just blushed, and they began to put his plan into action.

Just as they were sitting down to dinner, a commotion began just a few tables over. A woman was making a great fuss about having eaten a vegetarian pasta that was most certainly not vegetarian... or pasta.

"Worms! Worms everywhere!" she was screaming, flinging things everywhere. The whole restaurant was getting involved, and the adults all went over to try to calm the other patrons down.

Kaden smiled at Iris and Layton across from him, then turned to his little brother. "Iris and Layton are dating. Pass it on."

Dallas happily complied, quickly turning to Johnny and spreading the message. When the message finally got to Layton, he turned beet red. He dropped his napkin and rushed from the table. Iris shot Kaden an evil glare, then rushed out after him.

Kaden and the other teens were laughing hysterically by this point. They had pretty definitive proof that feelings at least existed, and Kaden felt that nothing could spoil this. Until he looked up, of course.

His very angry mother stood with her arms crossed. "Kaden Matthew Lassiter, what did you do?"

He shrugged sheepishly. He knew he was going to get it for this one, but it was SO worth it. And best of all, he had made a brand new friend in James Guster.
