When the guild's mark pressed onto my skin, I felt a staggering pain in my stomach. I grasped my shirt and gasped. Master Makarov looked at me worriedly. "Lucy, Lucy my child, are you alright?"

I nodded and winced at the pain as it spread throughout my body. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine. D-Dont worry-"

"I'll help!" Wendy exclaimed, casting one of her healing spells. The pain quickly vanished. I gave her a smile. "Thanks, Wendy."

Master Makarov raised an eyebrow. "What was that all about?"

I shook my head. My vision turning blurry before quickly clearing again. "I have no idea…The last time I felt pain like that was when I became…shit."

I balled my fist and concentrated hardly. It didn't light. I stared at it. I sighed, even though my insides felt like jello. I was supposed to save Sakura with this! "He took away my powers."

I looked at Master Makarov desperately. "Do you have any magic books? Please, I can't defeat Zeref with just my keys, even though I hate to admit it."

Makarov went into deep thought before grinning minutes later. "Ah! I do, I believe. The Solar Magic! It goes to the one who has the purest heart. Let me get it."

He jumped off his chair and went to his bookcase. And opened the bookcase. He put his hand through a magic field and retrieved the book. He closed the bookcase behind him. He gave them a sheepish look as he gave the book to me. "There's only one magic book of Solar Magic in the world. I have to have high end security, you know."

I glanced at the book in my hands. It wasn't the biggest book, like a small chapter book. It had a multicolored flame ball on the cover, and the pages were ancient. I flipped to the first page to see the acquirements. All I had to do was say a small chant out loud, and if I did have the purest heart, I would receive the magic. If I didn't, however, I would be put into a coma. Geez.

I took a deep breath and recited the chant from the paper. I felt dizzy. I could hear gasps from around me, but all I could see was blue, pink, and green blurred together. I let out a painful yell when a stabbing motion slammed into me. I fell to the floor. After ten minutes of excruciating pain, it stopped. I could see again, sure it was blurry, but I could see.

I could see panicked faces of Master and Wendy.

I stood up, wobbling. Wendy came to my assistance while Master smiled. "It worked. I knew you had a pure heart."

I smiled weakly and offered the book back to Master. He shook his head. "No. You'll need it to gain more knowledge on your power. Just…don't let it fall into the wrong hands."

Wendy grinned at me while she looked back at Master Makarov. "Uhm, Master? We were wondering if me and Lucy could form a team."

Master nodded. "I'll fill out the paperwork for you two. I just need the name."

Wendy said something, but I couldn't hear it. Master smiled as he nodded. Once all my senses came back to me, I stood straight, thanked Master, and walked down to the guild with Wendy following.

I got the guild mark on my right hand, in pink, like last time.

I flipped through the first couple pages, memorizing everything. Wendy, who was sitting next to me at the bar table, greeted everyone as they walked through the doors. They greeted me too, but I wasn't up for talking. I just waved my hand at them, not looking up from the book.

Levy bounced over to us. "Morning, Wendy! Morning Lu!"

My heart imploded. I looked up and smiled at her. "Morning Levy!"

She seemed shocked, but then she started crying and flung herself on me, hugging me in a cobra like grasp. "Oh thank Mavis! You forgive me! Lu, I'm so, so, so, sorry!"

I smiled and patted her back. "Uhh, it's fine Levy, you guys were just confused…"

She pulled away and wiped her eyes. Her gaze fell on my book. "Neh? Whatcha reading?"

"It's about Solar Magic," Wendy beamed. "Lucy learned it this morning. Ooh! Charla!"

The young mage bounded over to her cat, who walked in followed by Happy. I smiled at the bookworm who had an awe look on her face. "I've only read about it in books! Ooh, show me a spell you learned!"

I shrugged. "I guess I could. I mean, I've so far only learned some defense spells…"

I cleared my throat and stood up. I took a deep breath. "Solar Wind!"

A light pink, blue, and green fog seeped through the floor. Soon, fits of giggles erupted from the guild. I looked at Levy, who was crying from her giggles. "W-What…?"

I shrugged. "In some cases, Solar Wind can make people laugh to death."

Horror struck on Levy's face as she continued to laugh. I sighed and sucked up all the fog. Levy gasped for air as soon as the fog cleared. "Y-You at all that?"

I nodded, picking up my book and handing it to her. "So far, I've only learned that and Solar Flare. I would try that one out, but it's kinda destructive."

Levy gasped, dropping the book as she grabbed my hand. Using my other hand, I grabbed the book before it made contact with the wood floor. I looked at her as she squealed. "You're a Fairytail member again!"

I nodded. "I got it this morning."

She squealed louder until an annoyed dragonslayer came over. "Oi, Shrimp! What's with all the squealing?"

"Look, look, look!" Levy exclaimed, yanking my hand to Gajeel's eyes. I staggered off my stool, thanks to her yank. Gajeel raised an eyebrow. "Oh, Bunny-girls back? Was that why everyone was laughing just a second ago?"

Levy nodded, a grin glued to her face. "It was Solar Wind!"

Gajeel shrugged and rubbed Levy's head. "Good to have you back, Bunny-girl."

Then he stalked away. Levy tried to flatten her hair while a hand grabbed me and started to pull me out the doors. I looked at him. "H-Hey! What the hell?"

He didn't reply. I glared at him. "Where are we going? Let go of me!"

"Out." He responded, closing the doors behind us.
