"War"

-00-

Perseus entered anyways, curiosity overwhelming him. Torches lit the wall, lighting his path. Walking down the steps, a groan startled him. Jumping, Perseus looked around only to realize where it came from.

It came from deeper in the ground.

Shaking away his feeling of dread and hopelessness, Perseus pushed on. The darkness seemed to seat at him, trying to bring forth his fears. He saw Rhea killed, Kronos becoming a tyrant, himself…..dead. Failing at stopping Kronos, he saw his head at Kronos's feet.

With an angry growl Perseus broke through his trance.

That may work on stupid mortals but I am a Titan! He yelled at himself mentally as he pressed on. Since breaking the spell his confidence returned, and he saw the end of the steps. A single torch lit the end, and as Perseus hit the dirt, he grabbed it. Walking forward, Perseus saw cages, housing nothing but dust. Gold dust.

Becoming alert even more, Perseus kept walking. His feet made a crunching sound as he examined the empty cages. The end was near, and so far not a single cage was filled. Another groan sounded, freezing Perseus. Steeling himself, Perseus pressed on, approaching the noise. The hall narrowed, and a single cage lay before him. Setting the torch on the wall, Perseus's eyes widened as he saw the contents of the cage. And then he grinned.

Before him, lay a cyclops. And he raised his head as Perseus grabbed the cage.

"How about once I get you out of here, you can help me find the rest of your siblings. And then rip Kronos's head off."

Zeus sighed as he stared at the map before him. The war was not going as planned, and pretty soon they may need to make a tactical withdraw from Mt. Olympus. Their new home, the thing the gods had claimed for themselves and not something given to them by others. It infuriated Zeus. The palace, as they called the fortifications they made, would not last under a continued assault if it lasted too long.

The clanking of armor garnered his attention as he looked up to see Poseidon walk in. His elder brother observed the map as he walked around the table, before standing next to Zeus.

"Still no word on that friend of yours?" Poseidon asked as he leaned on the table. Zeus sighed as he crossed his arms and stepped away from the table, trying to ignore the coming headache this war was giving him.

"No, I'm afraid, still no word. The time we need him the most and he still is gone….I'd say he went back to join our father if I didn't know how much Perseus detested the other Titans." Zeus stroked his beard in thought, mulling over their current predicament.

The Titans were closing in on the god's capital, Mt. Olympus, and as of now the gods didn't have the firepower to hold them off. Zeus had sent Hestia and Hades off rally support, as recent reports had indicated a mass amount of dissenters to the Northwest. But the problem was that the Titans had cut Mt. Olympus off from reinforcements, so right now it'd take a miracle.

Or a rather angry Titan of combat.

Perseus had not been seen since helping Zeus free his siblings. The Titan seemed to vanish, and the gods would've assumed he was captured or dead if not for two things;

1: The Titans were not discreet about sending out search parties and bounties for the capture of Perseus

2: Prometheus assured them that if he were dead, then the gods would've known for certain.

So they carried on, hoping to see the return of their friend. But to no avail, as he was still missing. The gods had to continue on though, and almost immediately after escaping they declared war on the Titans. The gods rallied all the mortals and monsters angry with the Titans to their side, which was a substantial amount, and soon enough the two armies would clash.

For several years it was almost a stalemate. The gods were quite powerful, more powerful than the Titans anticipated. But after fending off several initial attacks, the Titans were able to start clamping down and close in on Mt. Olympus. The beautiful palace the gods constructed may not be around for much longer if things continued down the path they were on.

Hera was wounded in their last fight, causing an angry Zeus to decimate the opposing forces and make the Titan responsible, Hyperion, flee. It had bought them enough time to rally their own forces and retreat, as Iapetus and Atlas both led their own contingents of soldiers. The gods were backed against a wall, with nowhere to retreat. Enemies closing in on all fronts, and mountains preventing a possible escape, gave Zeus quite a headache.

Until the news of a mass amount of dissenters to their north west made Zeus send out Hades and Hestia, who went to get reinforcements.

Good choice that was, Zeus thought to himself sarcastically. Having the two eldest gods gone left them considerably weaker. And if the Titans themselves assaulted in force, things would not go the god's way. They didn't just need luck. They needed a miracle.

Speaking of miracles, Zeus thought as Metis approached him. Zeus had successfully gotten himself to stop oogling her in plain sight, but he still found her very alluring.

Damn hormones.

Observing Metis as she analyzed the map much like Poseidon had just done, another nagging thought came to the forefront of his mind.

"Metis, if I may?" Metis looked up, nodding to Zeus.

"You've said that Perseus is the Titan of creation. Why would he create such terrible things?" Zeus asked, talking about the many monsters they've seen in the several years the war has lagged on. Metis tilted her head, contemplating her answer, before speaking.

"Perseus has created many things, living and non-living. But he is not the only being capable of creation. I can assure you, he is not responsible for monsters. When you freed your siblings, two monsters were created. Typhon and Echidna, born to bear powerful monsters. They have created many powerful monsters, who have plagued humans since their birth. Perseus has helped create maybe one or two species of monsters, but for their kind in total, he has held no hand in their making. You would do well to remember that." Zeus raised an eyebrow at her obvious warning, before Metis spoke again.

"Themis is no longer affiliated with the Titans. Since Prometheus has allied with you, she has decided to follow her son. This has angered your father and his brethren, so expect more…..anger in your next confrontation. They do not like traitors, especially those who defect to the enemy." With those words, Metis stalked off, going to Chaos knows where. Zeus grumbled in annoyance at her retreating form.

It still seems like he's being taught something new in every conversation. It's rather annoying.

Still deep in his thoughts, Zeus was startled out of them when a soldier came running in.

"My lord! Enemy forces spotted approaching the city! We are under attack!"

-00-

Hades and Hestia stood next to each other, in their chariots. Full battle armor on, the two eldest children of Kronos and Rhea looked rather fierce and intimidating. So much that their own soldiers were nervous to even think about approaching the two.

The gods, on the other hand, didn't understand why their commander was so nervous.

"Can you speak up?" Hades scowled at the mortal as he stuttered. Hestia gave her brother a withering glare, causing Hades to slowly sink back into his chariot. Turning to the mortal and smiling radiantly, Hestia looked expectantly at him. The man, feeling a sudden surge of confidence and calm wash over him, spoke with a new strength in his voice.

"My Lord and Lady, we are approaching the capital but our path has been blocked. Enemy forces are closing in and encircling the capital. It will take a significant battle to get through, and with my predictions we will lose a good amount of soldiers before breaking through." The commander said in one breath.

"Good. Tell our forward scouts to look for weak points in the enemy position." The commander nodded and was about to leave when he stopped. Turned back around he re-approached Hestia.

"My Lady, one of our scouts has also reported seeing unidentified forces moving in behind the enemy on the northeast flank. Their path is diagonal to ours. The scout said that this force was large, and was trying to conceal themselves from the Titans forces. Yet no recognizable God was leading them." Hestia furrowed her eyebrows at this while Hades leaned forward in his chariot, intrigued.

"Anything else?" Hades asked. The commander shook his head.

"Then prepare the army. We will set out soon. Try to have that scout make contact with the unknown forces. Perhaps another player has entered the field?" Hades asked Hestia when the man walked off, shouting orders. Hestia frowned, a look that did not fit her face as she rubbed her chin thoughtfully.

"There is no one that I can think of capable of raising significant forces who opposes the Titans. Atleast…." She trailed off as the ghost of a smile appeared on her face.

"No, Hades, there is not a new player on the field. Rather, one is returning." Hades raised an eyebrow, before rolling his eyes and taking his chariot forward. Hestia scoffed at his indifference before following, praying to her mother that her assumption was right.

-00-

Atlas stood in the command tent, looking at a map of Mt. Olympus and its surrounding geography. From their current knowledge, they had the annoying gods cornered. But nothing was certain until it happened.

As he mused, Iapetus and Krios entered the command tent.

"Atlas. How are the preparations?" Iapetus asked.

"Fine. I'm assuming Hyperion and Pallas are taking the front lines for now?" Krios nodded to his question.

"Good. And what about the gods reinforcements?"

"Ambush is set up and waiting. We'll try to draw them in and wait before attacking. That way we can maximize fatalities." Iapetus grinned as he rubbed his spear. Atlas chuckled before rolling up the map.

"Everything is in order. Lord Kronos would be pleased with our work. Now all we have to do is bring him the heads of all his children." Atlas walked out, followed by the other two. The Titan army was at quick work, preparing to assault the god's capital. Armor and weapons being handed out to every monster and mortal, with tents being taken down.

"Atlas, if I may?" Krios asked as the Titans walked to where Pallas and Hyperion were.

"Yes?"

"I believe that Pallas should be taken off the first attack wave." Atlas turned and gave his fellow Titan a look.

"Why is that?"

"He is not ready. While he is good, yes, I fear that he will make rash decisions and not think strategically. Replace him with Iapetus or myself." Krios said as a commotion could be heard a little away from the trio. Atlas rolled his eyes in contempt before looking at Krios.

"No. Pallas is going to lead the charge. That's final. I don't care if you fell protective of your kid, he's a tool in Lord Kronos's plan. We all are." A man came sprinting up to the Titans, out of breath, hands on his knees. The immortals watched as the man slowly raised his head and wheezed.

"Get on with it!" Atlas ordered. The man shrank a bit before speaking.

"The enemy reinforcement are on the move." Atlas turned and shouted orders to troops, before the man grabbed his arm.

"What!" Atlas snapped as he yanked the man's arm down. The man grimaced before continuing fearfully.

"We have lost contact with our scouts on the left flank. We believe there may be more enemy forces approaching but every time a party is sent out they disappear." Atlas frowned.

"Deserters. There is no one else left to assist the gods. I want them hunted down and killed. Am I clear?" The mortal nodded nervously before sprinting off, glad to get away. Atlas growled before a sudden BOOM! Got their attention. The Titans looked towards Mt. Olympus to see a billow of smoke start rising from one of the palace's sides. Atlas grinned again, except this time predatorily, as he said,

"It's begun."

-00-

To say that the battle was taking a while would be an understatement.

Once Hyperion blasted a hole in Olympus, the gods rushed out to fight. With the immortals leading their respective armies, the battle quickly escalated. Fire ravaged the land, with screams and shouts ringing throughout the battle. Swords clashed, shields banged, and general chaos ensued.

Hestia was currently blasting her way to Olympus. She knew that there were multiple Titans on the field, and since she and Hades were cut off their siblings would be outnumbered.

They got lucky. The Titans had set up an ambush, but Hades sniffed it out and they were able to decimate the would be ambushers. Monsters and Humans alike perished in the engagement.

The only problem was that their progress was halted by two very intimidating Titans.

Krios and Iapetus had brought a new force of monsters to combat their reinforcements, and as of now they were winning. Hestia quickly sent a blast of energy at a vicious looking hound before facing Iapetus. The silver-haired man grinned as he brought his spear up.

"Goddess. You would make a wonderful concubine. I think I'll enjoy you after your defeat!" he lunged forward, hoping to catch Hestia off-guard. But the women was ready, and she summoned a fiery sword to block his attack. Her bronze armor and his silver armor glowed in the sun. The immortals clashed, ignoring the war raging around them.

Hestia was good, Iapetus realized as they fought. But not good enough. The gods were still very young, and without the proper time needed to mature and adjust to their powers. This deficit was seen when Iapetus soon overwhelmed the goddess, knocking her sword away and yanking her wrist. Hestia fell forward and Iapetus kicked her legs out from under her. She collapsed into the ground, groaning in pain and exhaustion as she effects of fighting took its toll. Iapetus was fine, having been used to such exertion before.

"It's been fun goddess, but now I spill the first blood." He raised his spear, about to strike when a horn sounded.

The sound was so loud it almost made the Titans ears vibrate. A moment later the Titans forces started panicking, moving away from Olympus.

"What in my father's name are you doing? What happened to the left flank?!" Iapetus roared as he tried to regain control of his troops. A large shadow covered the battlefield as three monstrous figures loomed.

"No…..Hekatonkheires!" Iapetus whispered as suddenly hundreds of boulders were thrown at the Titans army. In a matter of seconds his forces were decimated as the massive rocks crushed human and monster alike. Then a wave of panic rushed through the monsters as a line of silver suddenly crashed into their left side.

"CYCLOPS!" Someone shouted as a chorus of battle cries and roars sounded. The cyclops army all had silver armor, and fierce war helms. Some had horns sticking out of their helmets, which covered their entire head and face, while others had plumes. They all wielded clubs and hammers, smashing their way through after the hundred-handed ones.

A Laestrygonian giant roared a challenge and charged the cyclops at point. He swung a battle axe, but the cyclops raised a forearm and blocked it at the handle. He ripped the axe away and tossed it, before ripping off his helmet and roaring in the face of the giant.

Scared, the giant tried to escape but the cyclops smashed his war hammer into the head of the giant, killing it instantly. Roaring again, the cyclops put his helmet back on and charged with his brethren.

"I'll see you soon, goddess." Iapetus spat as he turned and vanished in a flash of light. Another flash revealed Krios disappearing, with Hades standing there. The other two had fought at the same time as Hestia and Iapetus, ending in a stalemate.

"Hestia! We must reach Zeus at the front. I've gotten word that Hera and Demeter have been incapacitated, leaving Zeus and Poseidon to fight three Titans. We must hurry!" With that, the two gods and their remaining soldiers pushed their way through the panicking army, intent on reaching the capital.

-00-

While the surprise attack by the cyclops continued, a battle of immortals took place before Olympus.

Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, and Demeter had initially fought Atlas, Hyperion, and Pallas. But Pallas successfully dispatched the two goddesses, with Demeter going down first and Hera unable to counter Pallas's quick movements.

After that, it became a two-on-three situation. Zeus and Poseidon were powerful, more so than their sisters, but Atlas and Hyperion had centuries of experience and practice. It wasn't a surprise that the two gods slowly felt their cuts and bruises adding up, while the Titans seemed to press harder. Adding Pallas into the mix created an even bigger challenge.

That is, until Hestia and Hades charged in with their chariots.

The two elder gods blasted the Titans with energy, allowing Zeus and Poseidon to make a tactical withdraw. Moments later, the four gods were facing the three Titans.

"You've lost, Atlas. Retreat to your master like the dog you are." Zeus said as he caught his breath. The gods were strained, as there were only six of them against many Titans. The enemy could easily make substitutions and stay fresh while the gods were constantly fatigued.

"Not so fast, godling." Two flashes of light and then it was five-on-four. Great.

"Your forces are destroyed, army obliterated. You truly think you can win?" Zeus retorted as he got into a battle stance, gripping his sword. Hades had a spear, Poseidon a greatsword, and Hestia a flaming sword. They had stolen materials from the Titans and had a master smith forge their weapons. They weren't the best, but they did their job.

Atlas wielded a javelin, Iapetus a spear, Krios an axe, Pallas a spear and shield, and Hyperion had two flaming swords, except they burned with a harsher light than Hestia's.

"I do." Atlas said. The general nodded to his allies, before they charged the gods.

The battle was extraordinary and magnificent. As it always was when immortals clashed, all the mortals and monsters saw were flashes of light and explosions. The power of the Titans against the Gods.

Feeling rejuvenated that their enemy was pushed back, the Gods fought with extra rigor. Even though the Titans outnumbered them, the big three gods were powerful when together. Their chemistry unmatched, they were able to handle the extra Titan.

Zeus clashed with Atlas, knocking him back while Poseidon dueled with Krios. Hades fended off Pallas and Iapetus, as all the spear wielders were locked in a single skirmish. Hades slammed the butt of his spear into Iapetus's chest, knocking him back, before spinning his spear. It hit Pallas in the side of the head, sending him reeling. This allowed Hades to blast Krios quickly, distracting him from Poseidon. Poseidon took advantage and slashed forward, catching Krios's side. The Titan growled, before he swung his axe in a wide arc. Poseidon jumped back and Zeus jumped forward, having stalled Atlas with a blast to the knee.

He knocked Krios's axe away, and would've finished him I not for Iapetus re-joining. The piercer violently stabbed forward, momentarily frenzied. He caught Zeus's ribcage, drawing ichor.

The battle seemed to be going well, until the Titans turned the tables.

Hyperion and Hestia were locked in a vicious fight, with the eldest of Kronos's children able to fend off the Titan. But when Pallas suddenly started striking her from the right, she struggled to defend the onslaught from both Hyperion and Pallas. Soon enough, her defenses were breached and a gasp escaped her lips as one of Hyperion's blades dug into her shoulder.

"Shit!" Poseidon cursed as he rotated back to save Hestia. This left Hades and Zeus outnumbered, and Atlas took advantage. Slamming his javelin into the ground, he sent out a wave of energy which caused the gods to stumble. He threw his javelin and unsheathed his own broadsword, the metal gleaming dangerously in the light. Zeus dodged the javelin, and growled at Atlas as the Titan raised an eyebrow.

Seconds later, with Zeus surviving solely on instinct, Krios's axe swept down. It was so close to hitting Zeus that some of his hair was cut off.

Hades and Iapetus were still locked together, each immortal countering their opponent. The only reason Hades couldn't gain the upper hand was due to the occasional fire blast sent at him from Hyperion, who was knocking Hestia back with his powerful strikes.

Zeus glared at Atlas and Krios, becoming enraged. His electric eyes flashed dangerously as power rolled off him.

"I am the king of the gods! And you WILL fear me!" He charged forward, fighting off the two Titans. Kicking Krios away, he locked swords with Atlas and spit in his face. In the moment Atlas blinked it out, Zeus spun and slammed his fist into Atlas's temple.

The general collapsed, grabbing his head. Krios grabbed his comrade and dragged him away, keeping Zeus back with wide sweeps of his axe. Hades had pinned Iapetus, and was about to blast him to Tartarus when the cyclops roared again.

The noise, suddenly close, startled Hades just long enough for Iapetus to run his through with his spear.

"Hades!" Hestia shouted as she dodged Hyperion. Poseidon had tossed Pallas back to where Krios and Atlas were, allowing him to shoulder-charge Iapetus. Slamming into the Titan, he successfully broke several of the man's ribs. Iapetus hit the ground hard, and rolled back to Pallas who was standing again.

Hyperion, seeing his allies withdraw, backed away from Hestia who was eyeing him warily. Once she saw him back away she ran to her brother.

"Hades!" She gasped as she dropped to the ground next to him. Hades groaned, ichor coating his hands and stomach. The spear had punctured his armor, which wasn't the best to begin with.

"I've got him. Go." Hestia told Poseidon as she began to heal her brother. A soft glow emitted from her hands as she began to work.

Meanwhile, the Titans were preparing for another attack when the ground shook. Turning around, three massive cyclops were running at them. They were bigger and more armored than the rest, with each holding a different weapon. One held a hammer, one held a sword, and one held a club. Except the club was metal.

They stopped before the Titans. Their size dwarfing the immortals, and the gods stared in wonder at their armor. It glowed with an ethereal light, and was beautifully crafted.

The cyclops growled at the Titans, who were all rigid. They were tired from fighting the gods, and unprepared to face the anger of the elder cyclops.

Suddenly, the middle and left one stepped back, allowing a much smaller figure to take the lead. A man stood in full battle armor, half-black and half-white. His shoulder plates were big, and two glowing eye slits in the helmet made him look rather intimidating.

While the Titans watched in horror and the gods in fascination, Zeus was about ready to heave a sigh of relief.

So he returns.

Perseus started spinning his sword as he stalked towards the Titans, eyeing them like a lion watching its prey.

"What? No hugs? Not even a welcome back?" The Titan said sarcastically as he stopped spinning his sword. He was about 10 meters from the other Titans now, who all started to take out their weapons once more.

Perseus frowned as he held out his arms.

"Can't we talk about this?" Atlas sneered at him in response, which caused Perseus to chuckle.

"Good." He said coldly before turning to the cyclops and jerking his head back to the Titans.

The cyclops roared and charged forward, intent on getting revenge against those who kept them imprisoned. Hyperon, Krios, and Iapetus each had to battle one as the massive figures wildly swung about.

That left Atlas and Pallas for Perseus. Atlas and Pallas had recovered from their wounds and stood in front of Titan of Combat. Perseus cocked his head to the side as he raised his left arm. A shield, solid black with a red hue, sprung onto his wrist.

"You sure you wanna do this?" Perseus asked, though he was looking at Pallas. Pallas glared at Perseus before responding.

"Traitor." Atlas and Pallas charged Perseus, with each striking simultaneously. Perseus raised his shield to block Atlas, while he parried Pallas with his sword. Jumping and spinning, Perseus tried to slash at both Atlas and Pallas, but only caught Pallas in the forearm as he turned.

Atlas sent a low blow, intending to impair his movement, but Perseus jumped over it before responding with his own attack. Quickly slashing up, and then across, Perseus forced Atlas to turn his sword at an awkward angle. This allowed Perseus to get in close and bash his shield against Atlas's face, breaking his nose.

The general fell back, and as Perseus went for a killing blow, the hair on the back of his neck tingled. Raising his shield to the back of his head, he was knocked forward a few steps as Pallas's spear struck. Regaining his balance quickly, Perseus turned and began an offensive on Pallas. His sword was easier to use at such a close range and Perseus found himself sliding inside Pallas's guard. Kneeing the Titan in the stomach, Perseus kicked his spear away before delivering a jarring hit to the cheek. Pallas's head snapped back and he fell down, momentarily out of it.

Wasting no time, Perseus rounded back on Atlas who had stemmed the blood from his nose and was angrily stomping towards Perseus. He attacked with strong blows, his sword slamming on Perseus's shield with enough force to make his arm go numb. Feeling himself get pinned, Perseus rolled away and tossed his shield to the side. Now he held is sword with two hands as the General approached again.

"It's not too late, Perseus. Rejoin us now and finish these pesky gods. Kronos will rejoice at your return, all your crimes forgotten. Join us, brother. Join your family." Atlas held out a hand. Perseus snorted in amazement at his stupidity, and was about to retort when Atlas froze him with his next words.

"Calypso has been dying to see you, you know. She misses you dearly, crying herself to sleep knowing that you'll be killed. Join us now, and I'll allow your relationship. Hell, I'll plan the wedding myself!" Atlas laughed. He then looked at Perseus with so much hope that Perseus felt compelled to believe him.

"Join us, Perseus. Stop the fighting." He held out his hand, and Perseus felt very compelled to grab it. While he hated Atlas, it was true that he hadn't seen Calypso and would probably die. Hearing how she cried herself to sleep broke his heart into pieces, and he wanted nothing more than to hug Calypso and finally tell her how much she meant to him.

But then, something Atlas said caught his attention.

"You said you'd plan the wedding…..as if we were lovers."

"You are, are you not? She tells me of all your exploits together. I frowned upon the relationship, but once I heard how happy you made her I had a change of heart." Atlas said. Perseus frowned, his helmet blocking his expression.

"We…aren't lovers. I never told her how I felt. And she once told me that she'd never speak to you about such trivial matters. You're lying." Perseus felt anger cloud his judgement. Atlas's façade fell and he sneered. Perseus clenched his hands around his sword as he growled and charged at the Titan.

"You lied!" He snarled as he viciously slashed downwards. Atlas raised his sword, but the sheer amount of force Perseus used forced Atlas onto a knee. Perseus forgot all technique and training as he went for Atlas's head, furious that the Titan would lie to him about something that mattered so much to him.

To put the image of marriage in his head…..of a happy life….of having kids one day….

Fury renewed, Perseus started punching Atlas. Atlas stumbled back, balance gone, and Perseus ripped his sword away. Now defenseless, Atlas was at Perseus's mercy. As the Titan of Combat was about to brutally finish him, Pallas struck.

Pallas had just regained his bearings, and was sneaking up on Perseus. When the Titan had disarmed the general he acted.

Lunging at Perseus, he went to stab him from behind. Somehow sensing danger, Perseus spun himself away. But he wasn't fast enough, and Pallas's spear sliced through his armor covering his ribs.

Still in an anger induced state, Perseus kept himself spinning and lashed out violently with his sword.

Atlas, and the other immortals watching, stood there stunned as skin parted on Pallas's neck. The wound suddenly opened up, and silver ichor poured out. He brought his hands to stem the flow, but suddenly blood started gushing out of his neck as he dropped the ground, choking. His neck was cut open, ichor pouring out. Perseus watched as his once friend died in front of him, and his rage disappeared.

The cyclops and other Titans, who had been locked in a heated fight, all stopped Krios looked on, before tearing off his helmet.

"Pallas!" Krios yelled as he ran to his son. Crouching down he whispered frantically to his son, and held him in his arms as the light vanished from his eyes.

Pallas was dead.

"You…." Krios said as he pointed a finger at Perseus.

"You did this!" Picking up his axe, he charged Perseus. Perseus jumped back, avoiding the lethal edge as he attempted to explain.

"It was an accident. I didn't mean to kill him." Perseus said, sorrow in his voice as he kept dodging Krios's axe.

"I'll have your head! You bastard!" Krios shouted. Perseus knew that the two were close, but now he realized the full extent of their bond. Unlike Kronos and his other brothers, Krios really cared for his kids. Now he watched as one died.

"Stop this, Krios, please." Perseus begged his old mentor as he stayed on the defensive. But Krios was having none of it and breached Perseus's defenses. Cutting a gash across the Titans chest which sent him sprawling, he raised his battle-axe high to the sky for a killing blow. With a yell he brought it down.

Acting fast, Perseus jumped up, grabbing his sword. Lunging forward, he brought his sword forward as the axe came down.

The immortals watching observed in disbelief as Perseus's sword pierced Krios's stomach. The Titan looked down, in shock, as he dropped his axe.

"That hurts." He said before he started coughing. Perseus slowly lowered Krios to the ground, where the Titan started to bleed out not even ten meters away from his son's body.

Zeus watched as Krios brought Perseus close and whispered in his ear. The distraught Titan nodded, before pulling his sword out of the older Titans body. Krios eased back down before closing his eyes and becoming limp.

"There's been enough fighting for today. Return back before I kill you as well." Perseus said coldly to the other Titans. Hyperion growled and Iapetus sneered, but the duo collected Atlas and vanished seconds later in a flash of light. After the left, Krios's and Pallas's bodies slowly disintegrated in gold dust, before being blown away in the wind. Perseus turned to look at the god's still standing, sorrow in his voice.

"I think I'll just turn in for the night." The Titan grabbed his head as he walked by the gods and towards Mt. Olympus. The cyclops, who stood silently by, left back towards the now-empty battlefield to collect their brethren and the hundred-handed ones.

Zeus turned to his siblings, who had varying looks of confusion on their faces. Sighing in defeat, Zeus beckoned them back to Olympus.

"It's been a long day, I think we should all rest and discuss this tomorrow."

This will be a little long, but it has important stuff.

So that's that. In this story many monsters also predate the gods. I plan on only including the elder six Olympians in the war, and as you can see Perseus has gotten the elder cyclops, so expect the big three weapons to be made soon.

Perseus is the Titan of Combat, so he's technically supposed to be the best fighter.

Also, in response to many different people, if the pairing was PercyxMulti, it would not be a harem. It'd be like, Calypso now, then let's say Zoe in a few thousand years, then maybe Artemis or whoever, and so on so forth. Only one at a time.

So that's still a question. And also, there isn't much info about the Titanomachy, so I'll probably just skip most of it and get to the good stuff. I already have skipped part of it. I'm aware of a book called Percy Jacksons Greek Gods which actually has a lot of information and stories about the ancient times, so I may go off that a bit as a basis.

Just to fill my curiosity, was anyone else a little disappointed with how the Heroes of Olympus series turned out? I feel like Rick tried to downplay Percy a little too much. Then recover at some moments, like in Son of Neptune and in House of Hades when he, oh I don't know, scared the Primordial of Despair? That's pretty big. So I was kinda upset with how he was just kind of there and actually almost setting them back at points. (Nosebleed, anyone?) But yeah, I could go on for a lot longer ranting about that, so I'll save you guys my anger. For now ;)

Don't forget to tell me what you thought! I like long reviews, yes that's right WhiteEagle1985, I'm onto you. I saw you reviewing another story and all you say is the same thing! It actually made me laugh a bit. (But you be you my friend.)
