First I'm sorry for this long absence, I didn't plan to stop writing but I lost all the chapter I wrote when my computer went down years ago. It was discouraging, I didn't feel like writing all of it again, so I just dropped it. But now I'm ready to continue and I have load of new ideas.
I re read the previous chapters and corrected some stuff, still not perfect but you know english isn't my mother tongue, I did my best regardless!
So here is the long awaited chapter 7, hope you will like it.
Tom for the rest of the summer had been feeling guilty. Harry on the other hand wasn't doing good, he feared he was hiding too much from the little Slytherin and that while growing up he would eventually find out more. Dumbeldor , through his whole childhood had hidden pieces of informations from him only to be found out in the end. How would Tom react if he knew his guardian had that many secrets, even his attendance to Hogwarts was a lie he hadn't planned to work for the long term.
He knew he had been too harsh on the poor Tom, and understood completely his reaction. They were so similar it hurts somehow.
But despite knowing he was wrong, he didn't find it quite easy to confront the small version of his nemesis again. He sighted.
The house was so calm when Teddy was out to see his friends. Tom being surely an introvert despite being a leader in nature, always prefered the calm of his rooms, and the pleasure of reading books. So he was always home. And that was mainly the problem.
Harry wouldn't have been as aware of the problem occurring between them if Tom had been as busy as his Godson, going outside from time to time. But no, he was stuck here with him and that thought was kind of driving him crazy and he wasn't the only one. The Slytherin on his part couldn't even focus on the book he had started reading, one he had sneakily taken from the house's library despite Harry not approving it. He needed to know more about the dark arts though. They were told to be powerfull, and if he wanted to protect himself so that he could always be near Harry, he could use them better than all the harmless spells he was thought at school. But as a matter of fact he couldn't read 3 lines without his mind drifting to his current obsession. Resigned, he put the book in his drawers locking it with wards and charms he learnt.
$Do you think I should talk to him Nagini? $ He felt so desperate he felt the need to take an advice from his snake.
$You don't sssseem to get much ssleep Master, I only know that when you have a problem you should quickly deal with it. $
The answer was clear, Nagini was encouraging him to go and talk to Harry. Grabbing all his courage, he stood up and went to his door.
As he was about to open it he heard a knock. He hesitantly opened it, in frront of him stood the green eyed teenager.
"Hey."
The silence in the room was growing on them. It only left when they both spoke quietly but quickly.
"I'm sorry."
Their eyes widened, they were looking at each others eyes for the first time in so long. And oh how Tom missed the sight of them.
Suddenly he felt himself being pulled into a hug.
"I should be the one apologising Tom, I'm supposed to be the adult here." He laughed softly. "You know you were right... When I was younger, I had a mentor, you know after living with my muggle relatives for eleven years I met him. He was powerfull and very wise. But I didn't like the fact that for 5 years he hid lot of stuff from me. Things that concerned me. I was confused for the longest time as if I should hate him or understand his choice. But you know what? Even if he was wrong for hidding things, he was still human, and humans make mistakes. I'm apologising because I'm sorry for taking the decision of using your heritage from you. Could you forgive me."
"Of course Harry, so far you have been so good to me, you wanted me when no one did, you took me in and loved me despite not knowing me. And I'm really gratefull and... I like you a bit for that." He flushed not being used to show affection to anyone. "I'm sorry for doubting you, you know I was upset at the time. So upset I didn't know what I was saying..."
"I understand Tom, you don't have to explain." Harry smilled at him. A pure and genuine one. He was proud to see how Tom had turned.
The future dark lord, despite having no empathy and being an egocentric human, was genuinely happy only when Harry was. And it was all strange to him to care for someone other than himself, sure he always did obsess over his guardian, but he never felt remorse for any of his past action toward anyone especially toward the one he wronged most, aka Teddy. But Harry was different. This feeling made him warm somehow.

Elsewhere Grindlwald was in a full mood. He was crusiating anyone who dared come to him at this hour just to get his nerves to calm down. The brat had fooled him. Even though he was sure the curse hit him, the wand still didn't obey. What was wrong?
He was about to go out and continue taking his anger on his subordinates when he an owl came to him through the open window.
It was Albus' owl, he would recognise it anytime.
Dear friend,
The Potter child informed me that his heirloom had started to fade, and will soon be no longer working at this train. My conclusion is maybe the hollows are loosing their powers for some reasons, gradually. I still can't find the resurrection stone.
Sincerely Albus.
It was the logic explanation, but Gelert didn't want to believe it. Especially when he had faced the confidence in Harry Le Fay's voice, stating he was the master of the wand so casually, as if it was evidence. Or could he have been bluffing? But no normal person should have been able to apparate through the heavily warded Malfoy manor. He wanted to ask his questions so bad, but the man was now dead. Too bad he couldn't make acquaintance with him again. He would however investigate further where he came from.

Summer ended, and it was time for the kids to go back to Hogwarts. Harry was always sadened when they left, but he got used to it over the past two years.
Teddy was hesitant, last years event had him on edge. He wasn't sure how the rest of the school would react to him. Would they fear him? Would they bully him? He found himself not caring as much as he thought he would due to his friends constant encouragment over summer. They quickly joined him and laughed with him as if nothing had happened. And that made him not mind the stares he was given by the others.
Tom was as aloof as ever. He still only talked when asked to and had his nose on his glamoured dark art book again. Eileen was eying it curiously being also a bookworm. She wanted to ask but didn't want to be annoying to Tom either. The little girl had developed a little crush on him, but choose to be discrete about it, she knew Tom wasn't the least interested in any kind of relationship afterall. He only obsessed over one thing, it was Harry.
As it was expected, for the third year courses, Tom choose anciant runes and Arithmancy, and Teddy took Care for magical creatures and anciant runes. Teddy would have preferred to take divination just to see Tom's face less, but Harry highly discouraged this choice over summer, stating that it was a waste of time if you weren't already a seer.
The whole first semester the little Slytherin heir checked books in the library about his heritage, he found out about his family being the gaunt, and that after lot of inbreeding, they were left all nearly squibs. It disgusted him how low they had fallen. Neverthless, je found about a chamber hidden in the school that no one could access but Slytherin himself. The chamber of secret was now Tom's new objective. He so badly wanted to ask questions about it to his head of house. But Slughorn had became a creep with him. He touched him a lot in class making him inconfortable. The touches weren't normal, the professor's hands lingered quite a lot for Tom's tastes, and he could, if he wasn't mistaken, label them as sensual. He didn't want to be near his professor, and certainly not alone.
"My boy, you look pale recently, if you want to talk to someone I'll be there anytime." Had said Slughorn faking concern.
Tom wasn't pale, it was his natural color thank you very much, the pathetic excuse of a head of house just wanted to isolate him for sure. And was making a poor attempt at it. The only time he had really paled was when he saw thestrals as he left the Hogwart express at the begining of the school year. Proof that Harry had really died. He was thinking if he should risk and endure being alone with his professor just to ask about the chamber? No he wasn't desperate yet. He could work alone.
Jungling between classes, being a model student, perfecting his knowledge about the dark arts, socializing , because yes he needed to if he wanted to go far, and finding clues about the chamber, he didn't have time anymore. He had ignored Teddy for most part of the year. He had heard the Slytherin making fun of him while passing by and some random dispute between the house of Hufflepuff and his own but nothing of concern, and he didn't care as he was too busy to do so.
OoooooOOoOOOOOoo
Harry was bored to death, killing himself to talk to Death from time to time didn't do well for his sanity. And she mocked him everytime he came to her.
He needed to find a job quickly. Having had all O's in his owl's and 3 O's 1 E and 1 A at his NEWTs could get him almost any position. But he didn't know what to do.
Being an auror in this time was out of question as he was risking uncovering his identity if he was to accidentally die. One does not just accidentally pass away, but he had grown rekless over time when he knew he wouldn't die no matter what. So no risky job was it.
Potion master, ward breaker, healer? So not his thing to sit behind a desk and brew stuff or find solution to problems that weren't his anymore. Sure he still had that saving people thing but he was trying so hard to calm it down dammit. And healing was draco's thing not his.
Professor? No open position at hogwarts at the moment and he couldn't force one to open... unless...
He had a brilliant idea he couldn't wait to apply. He smirked. Teddy and Tom would be so choked.
OoOOOOOoOOooooOoooo
After Yule had passed, as the students went back to their normal school routine, one morning the headmaster Dippet announced the opening of a club, the duelling club.
"So as you all know, the duelling club hadn't been open for over a century now, but it isn't too late to restore good habits. Only third years aand above will have access to it, as the participant should havr a decent amount of spell in store. Now I will present the responsible of this new activity. Mister Le Fay join us if you may."
Teddy gapped, Tom's eyes went wide. They couldn't believe what they just heard and saw. Their guardian was now the responsible of the duelling club. And they didn't have a clue about it until now.
They suspected he was up to something; seeing how weird he acted on the yule holiday. But to think they would now see him a lot more made them both happy and confused at the same time.
Tom especially wasn't too happy his exclusive professor would now share knowledge with everyone. Some didn't deserve how awsome Harry was. Yes he wasn't pleased at all by the news, even though he was happy he would be seeing him a lot more now.
The mini Dark lord was disgusted how Teddy didn't mind sharing at all. Sure he shared harry with teddy before but he grew used to it. But to do so now with the whole school was a huge No.
"It's a pleasure for me to accompany you all in this adventure. Duelling is an art more than a usefull weapon at war time. If you're interested don't hesitate to join. If you come unprepared and you don't take it seriously, I highly recommend you not to, as I am a harsh instructor."
From across the great hall, Harry saw him an winked at him. He heard wispers on the table from his Slytherin peers.
"He's a Le Fay Merlin! Surely the heir."
"He looks so hot, I wonder if he has someone in his life."
"he's Tom and Teddy's guardian, the werewolf is his cousin apparently."
"He looks so young, he doesn't look above 20, not even 19."
"Could he also be a werewolf? If he is I don't think I would join the club."
"I would risk it even though, look how gorgeous he is come on!" It was Walburga Black, a Slytherin forth year who spoke this last statement to her best friend Lucrecia, provoking a hint of jealousy in Orion's face.
Tom was throwing displeased looks all over, he didn't like some random people talking about his Harry.
Malfoy and Nott were eyeing each others understanding their friend's disconfort but not wanting to comment on it, knowing Riddle's temper. Their little crew had grown over the years, adding to Malfoy Prince Black and Nott, Adam Rokwood, the twins Anabelle and Anatol Lestrange, Larry Dolohov, Damien Parkinson, and zakaria Avery had joined them. They were the most popular among the Slytherin despite their young age. Having the heirs of important Pureblooded family in them did help. Adding the fact that Tom was also quite popular on his own for earning that many points for the house. It was Prince who choose to break the silence between their little group though.
"You dont seem pleased by your guardian's arrival Tom."
"Not in the least."
"I thought you were quite fond of him if I remember."
"Still am." He paused. "it's the idea of sharing him that displeases me Prince." He stood up suddenly. "Excuse me now I have matters to take care of." He left the great haul quickly. For the time being he would wait and see. He couldn't just go to Harry and ask him to go back to Godric's hollow. The green eyed man was an adult and wouldn't be pleased to be told what to do. But someday he would have a bit of controll over Harry for sure. Him and no one else.
Having Harry come into the school also hindered him. He didn't know if his guardian would monitor him like he did at home or if he would be too busy with his new position. And finding out about his latest activity wasn't something The Slytherin wished for. He wanted to uncover the chamber of secret as quickly as possible before Harry doupted anything. And now, he feared he would have to require the solution he was leaving as a last resort.
Lot of you didn't agree with Harry's parenting, I myself don't, but remember he is only 25 taking the responsability of two children, trying to balance between their needs and all. As for how I am picturing Tom; he is an sociopath and lack empathy. That doesn't mean he's evil.
I will start slowly but surely, the chapter will be shorter than they used to be but the publication will be more regular.
Hoped you liked this uneventful chapter, I promise the next one will be spicy.
