Hey guys, first off I'm really sorry about the long delay between updates. Being a high school junior really takes away a lot of your time and my tendency to be lazy really doesn't help my rate of updates. I got to ask you guys, which episode of WOWP would you like me to write about first? I sometimes have trouble deciding which episode to rewrite so yeah. Do tell me in the reviews, and without further ado I do not own Wizards of Waverly Place or any of its characters.

Reclaiming the Dragon

Justin's log, Stardate . I have now been stuck in 2007 for a month and there doesnt seem to be any major changed from my own timeline so that is good.

Alex and I meanwhile have gotten along great. We spend time together doing homework(Alex whining and begging me not to), watching TV with Alex poking fun at all the shows I watch and trying to scatch the remote from me and so on. I do wonder, why didn't the Alex from my own timeline and I get along so well.

One last note, school has always been relatively easy for me but with the benefit of coming from the future school is a complete pushover now, man if only life were always that simple.

Justin then saved his journal entry and shut his computer before heading to the lair for his wizarding lessons with his dad. A short while later, Max came in while playing his DS and Alex came in shooting me a smile some time later.

"Alright kids, today we are going to learn on the art of transformation into animals." Dad said to us as he wrote the topic on the blackboard.

"Sweet, I think I can be an awesome Giraffe. Eating leaves and standing that sounds cool." Max blurted out randomly and Alex and I just gave Max a look.

Dad then gave us the spell for turning ourselves into animals, warning us that we must not stay in the animal form for an extended period of time.

"Daddy, why can't we stay as an animal for too long?" Alex asked Dad, which made me smile seeing her getting all curious during our magic lesson.

"I think that if we stay as an animal for too long, our brain may be tricked into behaving like that animal. Am I right, Dad?" I asked Dad to confirm my theory.

"Yes, Justin is correct. The spell changes our entire DNA to that of the animal but our brain is still human, but the longer we stay in that form the more the brain is believing that we are the animal." Dad confirmed my theory which made me shoot a teasing smirk at Alex who just stuck her tongue at me.

Dad then asked Alex to turn him into a goat. Alex, being a natural at magic managed to get it first time out. I looked at her proudly and smiled.

"Come on, let's feed him some tins cans or something. Let's see if he will eat it." Max said to which Dad protested loudly.

Alex eventually turned him back to normal, Dad then punishes us by forcing us to study. Alex, after studying for awhile decides to do some online shopping.

Things happen basically the same as last time, only this time I was really happy that Alex actually bought me Dragon with her own money. Max was also really pleased that we now had a dragon dog.

"Alex, I don't think we should tell mom and dad that this is a lost dog. This dragon seller is a con man who tricked us last time." I told Alex as she was playing with Dragon along with Max, who remained oblivious to what were we talking about.

"Good idea, Justin. I think you just saved us a lot of trouble for the next few days. But can't the con man just dognap Dragon?" Alex pointed out and I could see her point.

Alex, Max and I all decided that we found Dragon on the way back from school one day and he followed us home. Dad was absolutely loving Dragon, while mom was okay with him as long as he doesn't make a mess of himself.

Dragon was actually quite well trained, knowing to do his business without help but he had a little trouble controlling his fire. Harper who spent her time at the sub station after school, immediately loved Dragon who almost set her dress on her fire but luckily he ran out of flame.

One night while I was out getting a cup of water to help me sleep better, I saw the con man trying to kidnap Dragon.

"I see when you can't con people to just giving you the dog back, you just dognap them instead?" I said to the con man who was not happy to see me at all.

"My plans aren't always this much work, but apparently I underestimated you. So, how about we have a formal duel? I win, I get the dog. You win, and I leave without another word." The con man proposed and I agreed as there doesnt seem to be another way out of this.

Even with my additional magic knowledge of the future, I didn't really have much of a chance against this guy. Alex, after hearing all the commotion had come down to see what had happened and after seeing the look in my eyes just directly stunned him from behind.

"Justin! Are you alright? I heard a loud noise and I came down as soon as I can." Alex said as I just hugged her to calm myself down. I reassured her that I was alright and kissed her goodnight after thanking her for stunning the guy.

After sending the stunned con man to the wizarding police along with a copy of my memories to get land him in some trouble, and away from us. I am a little shocked that such a drastic change occurred in the timeline, all as a result of telling my parents a different lie.

Alex and I talked about what had happened the next morning, and despite her trying her best to lighten my mood I just couldn't get my mind off the fact that his magical signature was really unusual, like it didn't belong here in a way similar to my situation.

"Hey, are you guys done cuddling? We need to make our way to school." Max said which snapped us out of our trance and into a state of shock at Max's comments.

There you go, my first real divergence of the timeline. Not really my best work, but I do hope that you guys like it. I also want to know if you guys want this to be really Jalex-filled or more dramatic due to the time travel? Tell me in your reviews and until next time.
