A bunch of kids stood around a strange dish, as small tops spun around and around before crashing into each other a few times before one got knocked out. Two of the kids looked a like, being twins. They were dressed the same, wore their hats the same way. They styled their blue hair the same as well, only difference was one was more feminine.

She was wearing her brother's clothes but they did not hide that she was a girl too much, plus she was a bit shorter than her twin brother. From first glance had people thinking they were both identical twins, until one spoke.

The brother got ready for the next round of his battle.

"Tyson, you better win." one with a more female voice said.

"Tyler, do you have faith in your older twin brother?" the one with the beyblade asked.

"Of course, I'm just saying, if you lose me and my beyblade will have to clean up the mess." the first one said.

"Man, it's hard to tell the two part, even though they are brother and sister." some said.

"Let it rip!" the two beybladers said at the same.

The beyblades spun around the arena. Tyson's taking the first attack, before he was forced into defensive tactics.

The match didn't last long though, Tyson's blade quick kicked the other boy's bey out of the dish.

"I won, I won, again, I won." Tyson cheered.

"That Tyson guy's really good." one boy said.

"Yes, but so is his sister, Tyler." another said.

"Maybe too good! Have they ever lost?" a boy asked.

"No, only when we were beginners." Tyler said putting her hands on her hips.

Tyler was younger than Tyson by only five minutes, but she still loved her brother. She never left his side. Their grandfather says the only time in their life they were apart was the five minutes in between their birth.

"You start calling me: Beyblade King." Tyson said winking.

"In your dreams, I can still beat you." Tyler said.

Tyler noticed a boy with brown hair and large glasses tapping away on a laptop. She walked over and watched him for a moment.

"I'll jot that down." He said to himself as his fingers danced across the keyboard. "Tyson; personality: egocentric. Ability: Average."

Tyson looked shocked at those words. "HUH!" He cried out before looking at his best friend. "Who are you to dis me, huh, Chief?" He started to rub his nose some. "Whadda know about beyblades?"

Chief beamed at this challenge. "What do I know? Just about EVERYTHING!" He exclaimed fixing his glasses. "Beyblades are the subject of my research."

The boy closed his laptop and got to his feet, closing his fist. "Beyblades! A battle hobby played at a super high speed gyration!" Chief explained with a large cat like smile on his lips. "The true martial art of the new millennium! The perfect theme for my studies, don't you think?"

"I guess, so but I'd rather see what you can do in the ring. Those brains of yours should give a good fight." Tyler replied with a readied bey.

That those words the nerd got nervous, "uh… No, I don't think I-."

It wasn't a long battle for Tyler, Chief's blade flew right out of the ring from a single hit.

"Chief's not so hot.

"Never said I was! I stick to the science side…" Chief tried to defend himself in a panic.

Another boy started to ready his 'blade. "Sheesh! What a big head! I'll take them down a notch or two!"

He launched his bey at the dish, only to miss.

"Oh no! It went outside the ring!"

It went bouncing for the fence, and being on top of a building meant that 'blade was going for a large fall that would shatter it to pieces.

Tyson acted quickly and dove at the fence, his arm slipping under it in time to catch the toy. His face took some damage but the kid was grateful to him. Tyler coming to his side to make sure he was alright.

"Hey, come quick you guys!" a boy yelled coming up the stairs.

"Gee, Kenta! What's up?" another boy asked facing the new boy.

"MY BEYBLADE GOT TAKEN!" Kenta yelled.

Everyone looked shocked. They raced down the stairs, following the Kenta boy.

By the river banks, there was an older boy. He wore a headband, had a big nose, and was chunky. All the kids around him didn't look happy. Turns out he had beaten seven so far, and had taken their beyblades. Tyler and Tyson were angry, beyblades meant a lot to their owner.

"Should I take him?" Tyler asked holding up her hand that held her beyblade.

"No, you should save it for later. We might run into more trouble." Tyson said putting his arm in front of her.

"This one's mine now, Bub! The spoils of war! Heh..." the big nosed kid said.

"Give it back to him!" Tyson and Tyler yelled at the same time.

"No one's taking any beyblades around here!" Tyson yelled pointing at the boy.

Tyler was giving the boy a dirty glare from behind Tyson. She didn't like the looks of this boy. She wasn't sure if it was because he was taking peoples beyblades, or something else. She couldn't put her finger on it. It bothered her to the point she was tapping her foot.

"Oh, Yeah! Who says, tough guy?" big nose yelled looking at both Tyson and Tyler. "Use it or lose it! THAT'S the way of the Blade Sharks."

"Blade Sharks?" Tyler repeated to herself.

She had heard the name before, she tried to remember, but couldn't. She started to pace, she wanted to remember where she had heard 'Blade Sharks' before. Tyson was looking over his shoulder at her. She only smiled to let him know she was fine. She had to remember, it wasn't that long ago, about three weeks when she had heard that name.

"I've heard of them! A gang of beyblade bullies who'll stop at nothing to get their way! Their tactics are the worst!" some kids said.

"So much for us, huh?" more asked.

"Guess we should just give up our 'blades NOW…"

Tyson's anger kicked in at the sound of the kids' sadness. Tyler knew why too, this was something that they both loved and these kids did too and this bully was ruining it for all of them.

"I won't let you get away with it!" Tyson growled surprising the other kids.

Tyler hated that she couldn't think of where she had heard the name. She only knew it was from the girls at school. Then it hit her. Why would the girls talk about the blade sharks? They only talk about cute guys! This doesn't make sense! Tyler thought as she pulled her hair, trying to think.

The bully looked around for a new opponent to battle with. "Okay, who's up next?" He asked. "Or have your spines all gone lump, wimps?"

"The only WIMP here is YOU!" Tyler snapped as Tyson flashed his bey.

"My spine's just fine thank!" He smiled. "I'm Tyson, Beyblade king – I'll take you on!"

The other kids cheered him on.

The bully didn't like those fighting words and faced Tyson quickly. "Rash words, runt. I can't stand arrogant little goody-goodies like you!"

"We don't need your approval! Or your big nose!" The twins retorted with anger marks on their foreheads.

"All right then, twerp! Let's make you my eighth and ninth victims!"

Tyson turned to Tyler. "If I lose be sure to clean up my mess." He grinned readying his blade.

"LET IT RIP!"

Her blue eyes fallowed both beys around the ring. Everyone around cheering for Tyson to win. Chief off the side recording the battle with his laptop, taking notes.

Then the bully got excited about something, that was something that didn't pass Chief and Tyler's eyes.

"What's going on, Chief?" Tyler asked going over by him.

He fixed his glasses some, while his eyes never left the battle. "At first glance it seems like Tyson has the advantage – but he's actually losing torque!" He explained. "On the other hand, the Blade Shark's beyblade is holding its momentum."

It only takes the right edge to win. Tyler thought to herself turning back to her brother's battle. Then it hit her like a sack of bricks. Tyson is gonna lose!

Tyson's bey wavered but a bit, and the Shark's blade used this moment to his advantage.

Her eyes widened as she watched her older brother's 'blade fly out of the dish. He dove to catch it, but the big nose jerk stepped on Tyson's arm, as he caught the 'blade. She gasped and covered her mouth as she watched. She did have the power to fight back, but this wasn't how her training was supposed to be used. Their older brother had told her never to use her beyblade to harm anyone, even if they've harmed anyone important to her. Their grandfather has been teaching them sword fighting since they could stand, there would be no honor if the bully did not have a wooden sword in his hands.

I'm useless. I can't even fight back. I can't even use my 'blade. She thought as she balled her hands into fists. She couldn't keep tears from building up in her eyes, but she whipped them away as the boy was walking away.

"If you're upset, you can always battle for it! I'll fight you any time! After all, how often do I get to beat the pants off royalty?" he yelled walking up the stairs. "See ya later, king!"

"Darn you! Come back here!" Tyson yelled getting up to chase him.

But someone passing by knocked Tyson over. Tyler's eyes widened so much the pupils couldn't be seen. The person was covered up well, she couldn't see their face.

"What did you do that to my brother for!" Tyler yelled running up to help Tyson.

"You're too quick to use your fists!" the person said, their voice was that of a young man. "If you are a true beyblader, you know what you must do!"

"Hey! Wait up! Who are you!" both of them yelled.

FWSH! VWEE!

Just then a beyblade landed by Tyson's feet spinning. Both looked surprised at the blade. Had the guy given it to Tyson, since he had lost his other one to the bully? Tyler looked puzzled as Tyson picked up the blade. Kids were gather around making sure they were alright. There was no harm done, only Tyson had been knocked over, but no blood.

"Fists won't do it! The only REAL revenge… is with a beyblade!" The strange shouted from far off.

Later Tyson, Tyler, and Chief were in the park. Tyson was testing the new beyblade, and Chief was gathering data on it. Tyler watched as she polished her orange beyblade. She barely got to ever use it. It wore her out to only go on a normal three round match. She would sleep a whole day after a whole tournament. She didn't get why though. She looked closely at the beyblade. It had a strange animal craved into it, it had nine tails, but she didn't know what kind of animal it was.

"Okay, Chief! What's the deal?" Tyson crossed his arms looking at the nerd.

"According to my deep analysis, there's nothing really special about this beyblade." Chief replied still tapping away what his keyboard.

"Darn, that guy was so WEIRD!" Tyson picked up his new bey. "Made me think this 'blade might have some amazing secret. Oh, well…"

Tyler came over and took the bey from her brother.

He went to protest but quickly shut his jaw before trying to start a fight with her.

"There's a blue dragon carved into the center." She smiled pointed out.

"Like yours?" He questioned looking at it when she gave it back.

He stared at the dragon, taking in all the details before a surge of power started to flow through his body. He let out a small gasped that didn't escape the ears of his sister and friend.

"What's wrong, Tyson?" Chief asked not looking up from his screen.

"I'm fine! It's just odd…" He explained holding the bey tighter in his hand. "….When I look at this Dragoon, I feel POWER rise up inside of me!"

Tyler smiled because she knew what her brother was taking about, she felt the same with her carving, even if she couldn't tell what it was.

"I'm going to name this one, DRAGOON, dude!" He announced

Tyler didn't understand why their beyblades were the only ones with carvings that she knew of with these carvings. She wasn't sure if there were more people out there with strange carvings on their beyblades.

She simply sighed before sitting down next to Chief.

She looked over his shoulder to see him working on Big nose's data. He figured out that, the weight ring was heavier than what it should have been. Tyler was shocked, the guy had cheated them. Now she was mad, but didn't show it. She hated cheaters, it didn't matter if it was in games, beyblade, anything, even dating, she hated anyone who cheated.

"So how do we get the power to beat this guy?" Tyler asked trying to come up with something herself.

"It's simple, we increase the torque and use a rapid attack strategy." Tyson said with a wink. "That's why I planned ahead! Check it out!"

He readied his bey, and lunched it with an even longer shooter rack.

"See it's spinning a lot faster than before!" Tyler was happy to see her brother so proud of himself. "I put two shooter racks end to end!"

Him and Chief held up a normal rack to Tyson's new one to see the difference.

"You really put that little brain to use!" Chief teased.

Tyson growled, "Get off my case, will ya!"

Chief looked back at his laptop, "but it's only twice the torque that it was before." He explained tapping away some more.

With a longer shooter rack it gave the bey more speed and power, but was it enough? Tyler didn't know. She wanted to make sure they were strong enough not to lose again. She hated to see cheaters get away with other people's things. Tyler sighed as she watched her brother try to get the blade to move faster.

"We still need to increase the torque by... FOUR TIMES!" Chief said shocked.

"What! We can't make a rack that long!" Tyler said.

"My arm's too short!" Tyson said.

Just then something was flying at them. They all ducked to keep from getting hit.

"What is that thing?" Tyler asked trying to watch it.

"It almost looks like one of those ninja throwing stars!" Chief yelled from the playground toy bear's mouth.

"No, it... it's a beyblade!" Tyson said in surprise.

Soon the beyblade disappeared after it hit, Tyson's Dragoon into the air.

"HEY! My Dragoon! What's you do that?!" Tyson cried out.

VRRRRRRRR!

Tyler went over to her brother and looked at him. They had found a way to get that four times the power they were looking for. They both grinned and gave the other a high five.

The next day, Tyson was ready to take on the Blade Shark. Tyler stood right by him. She had helped him all night to get it right. Tyson got hurt, but nothing bandages couldn't fix. She knew this time they would win.

"I'M READ YOU, BLADE SHARK!" Tyson announced at the river bank.

Stuffing his hands into the pockets of his vest, the bully gave a smug look. "HA! You really think you can BEAT me, wimp?"

"Of course he does. No one comes to a battle thinking they're gonna lose." Tyler replied with a smug look of her own. "It's only logical to think your better than the rest."

"Well, if you're THAT sure of yourself I'll let you try again."

"Great." Tyson smiled before looking at Tyler. "Wanna tell him the conditions?"

She nodded and stepped forward. "The rule is very simple that a thick skull like you couldn't misunderstand it. If my brother wins this time around, you give up all the beys you took." She suddenly stood up more straight and threw a finger at him. "It may be just a game to you… but to us… it means far more than that!"

"Those beyblades are our prized possessions!" Tyson finished.

Everyone was shocked to hear these words.

The bully started laughing before grabbing his nose. "Aw! Poor babies! That's so corny it STINKS!"

"WHA'D YOU SAY BIG NOSE?!" Tyson yelled charging him, but Chief and Tyler stopped him.

"Save it for the match!" They cried.

"Fine! If you win, I'll give them all back. But if I win -"He started.

Tyler froze in fear as the words left his mouth. "… All your beyblades are MINE! Got it?"

Tyler wasn't going to give up her blade, her oldest brother gave it to her, she wasn't going to lose it. She grabbed her beyblade holder, that was on her left glove.

"Are you crazy!? You can't do that!" She cried holding her hand to her chest.

"We'll do it!" The others shouted with large smiles on their faces. "You can it, Tyson! We have faith in you."

This sparked something in both the twins. Tyson smiled and agreed to it.

The battle started with 'LET IT RIP!' like always.

Tyson shot right up into the sky, giving it the boost it needed. This always threw everyone off at first before they saw how much torque his bey had form the fall.

The 'blades hit each other a couple of times.

KACHING!

The bully quickly realized that he wasn't going to win.

"My rigid defense… it's being overwhelmed!" He cried out as the wind picked up.

The source of this wind was Tyson's blade.

"Take this! DRAGON TORNADO!"

"What fierce torque! The wind is lifting up the opponent!" Chief explained to everyone else, as they were all so shocked at the power.

SKANG!

That was the sound of the Blade Shark's bey flying out of the dish, deeming Tyson the winner.

"Yes! Tyson you won!" Tyler said hugging her brother.

"I did! Thanks a lot Tyler, you helped me out a lot." Tyson said looking her in the eyes.

"Damn it! How could I lose to HIM?" The bully started to make a run for it.

Tyler watched her brother chase after the boy. "Wait!" He called out.

The bully turned around to see the blue haired boy holding out his bey. "You forget something…. Your beyblade."

Big nose looked mad about it but snagged it from Tyson's hand, then emptied his pockets of all the beyblades he took from the others.

"NEXT time, I'll get MY revenge!"

"That's fine by us!" Tyson replied. "We'll take you on anytime!"

Everyone ran over to collect their beys. Smiles and eyes shining brightly as they looked at their lost toys.

"Well done, Tyson." Chief complimented.

"That was some good sportsmen ship right there." Tyler smiled.

"Heh heh! That's right! I'm da man!"

Kids started to ask Tyson to show off his bey one more time. He couldn't diene his new found fans.

Tyler laughed as she watched her brother. Basking in the fact things were right again and she didn't have to get involved yet. She was mainly back up for a reason, but when the time called for it she could step up and be the hero when it was asked of her.

A/N: I am sooo sorry about this delay. My mind and heart have been in other anime and shows. But something, I'm not sure what. Has brought me back to this fic. I am going to edit and expand all the old chapters before I work on new ones. But with more good reviews I will try to update as much as I can!
