Holy crap has it been a while since I've updated this. Though as I work at a retail store, the holidays prevented me from working on any of my stories. Then I had to wait for my muse to come back for this story. But its back… sort of. But with my story updates, they are going to be slow, and there is no real schedule for which one of my stories I will update. It could be any one of them at any time really.

Also, a shout out to Ncpfan for his help and making me realize that I had a few… holes in my story and correcting them. As well as helping with this chapter.

In Iwa, the day after Naruto put on the crown.

In the village of Stone, the old Tsuchikage, Ōnoki of both scales, was thinking back on recent events. His entire village had been in an uproar when they saw that light show from Konoha, and he actually had to order some of his ninja to find his villages Jinchuriki, Han and Roshi, to see if their Bijuu knew anything about it possibly being connected to Konoha's Jinchuriki. And like he thought, it somehow was, but the Bijuu wouldn't give any straight answers, other than the vague message that something dangerous and positively ancient was making that energy spike.

He let out a tired sigh. He was one of the oldest living ninja and Kage, and he had seen many things in his long years. Yet he could honestly say that that strange light coming from Konoha worried him, even more so when he had met Madara Uchiha himself in his youth.

"Just what are you up to you old monkey? I thought we had a deal…" Ōnoki would have continued, when his back started hurting again.

"Ah, my back!"

With Danzo. Location, hidden ROOT base.

The day after Danzo had his secret meeting with Sarutobi, Koharu and Homura, he was sitting in his office within ROOT. He had been thinking over the new situation concerning Naruto. If he were being honest with himself, he thought that Sarutobi's plan to make Naruto subservient to Konoha the way he did was utter nonsense, and had about as many holes as a screen door. While the plan itself wasn't bad, the way Sarutobi went through with it was foolish. While he himself was willing to take any risk to get things done, he knew that trying to manipulate a Jinchuriki through having the village hate him in some kind of demented way to beat loyalty into him, even with seals on him was foolish. You don't foster loyalty with hatred, it only begets more hatred, as it was proven when Naruto tried to kill himself out of spite for the entire village. He thanked whatever deities existed that it failed. And if Baraggan's word was to be trusted, put on the ancient king's crown in the hopes that the power would kill him, so as to be free of the torment of the village. This meant that Sarutobi's asinine plan almost cost them all the secrets that were hidden within the house of Minato and Kushina, but also the Kyuubi as well! And now, not only has the plan completely backfired with Naruto being free of the seals, the sheer power exuded by his new tenant Baraggan meant that trying to force him into submission again was utterly pointless!

After all, the calming abilities of Mokuton that Tenzo had, even though they were watered down, could only work on a Bijuu. And the nature of Baraggan's power was most certainly very different from that of a Bijuu, so he highly doubted that the power of wood release would have much if any effect on that eldritch monster. He wasn't even sure if his own Mokuton arm, with the few Sharingan's he had managed to get from the strangely small number of Uchiha bodies found during the massacre would be of any help. The only thing he believed that could work was the eye of Shisui, but the question was, did he want to use it?

Thinking over what Baraggan had said, it seemed that all Baraggan wanted to do was right the wrongs committed against Naruto, and when the boy regained control, he would stay. And honestly, even without knowing just how powerful Baraggan himself was, Danzo would be fine with that. After all, not even counting the power Baraggan had, Naruto already has the power of the Kyuubi, but he was also being trained by his parents inside of the seal! Kushina was a powerful woman, as her ability with a sword was on par with that of the seven swordsman of Kiri, and her chakra chains made those with Summon contracts and Jinchuriki powerless against her. (1) And then there was Minato, whose mastery of space/time jutsu had actually surpassed that of Tobirama, the Nidai Hokage! For Naruto to have the knowledge of either one of them would have been a boon. But for Naruto to be personally trained by both, as strange as it was, was invaluable. With the knowledge, skill, and power Naruto Uzumaki was going to have when he finished absorbing Baraggan, there was no way that Konoha could afford to lose him, to either another village, or to Sarutobi's plans to bring the boy under his heel.

But thinking back on it, he couldn't help but frown at how the once straight and true Sarutobi, had essentially lost his mind with his little scheme. He remembered that Hiruzen was generally saddened when they just received the call for help from Uzushio, only to be able to do nothing as it was already destroyed. With Kushina, Hiruzen had no desire to try and manipulate her like he did with her son Naruto. But when the man lost his wife Biwako during the Kyuubi attack, Hiruzen had finally snapped. In fact, Danzo was surprised that it didn't happen sooner, as one does not live through as many battles as he and Hiruzen have without some scars, be they mental or physical. Personally, he thought that Hiruzen was really doing all of this as some kind of twisted revenge on Kyuubi for what happened, by making Naruto his puppet. Having the Kyuubi as his personal weapon to use and abuse as he saw fit would satisfy his desire for revenge, and the irony of such a situation was just too enticing for him to ignore. The situation was made that much more convenient for Sarutobi when Jiraiya informed him of the Prophecy of the Toads. He knew that Jiraiya would assist him in keeping Naruto under Konoha's control if only to ensure the Prophecy was fulfilled in a way which was in Konoha's favor. To this end, Tsunade was told by Jiraiya and Hiruzen that Naruto had died, prompting her to leave the village with Shizune.

And to Danzo, that was a huge mistake. Naruto being raised by Tsunade of the Sennin would have been the best thing to happen in that situation. Tsunade would have stayed in the village, which would mean more people would be trained as medics if they weren't fit for the front lines, and Naruto would have received proper training and treatment. But no, Hiruzen was so blind he went with the worst possible choice. Effectively crippling the village by telling Tsunade that Naruto had died as well, making her leave when she could have helped the wounded, and trained more medics to lower the number of deaths. And allowing Naruto to be starved, abused, impoverished, and incorrectly taught. He honestly questioned Sarutobi's sanity with that. Starving him meant that his growth would be stunted, abused would lead to hatred, and being incorrectly taught would make him a defective weapon that would more than likely wind up getting him killed. Though Sarutobi's foolishness eventually lead to a certain event when Naruto was younger.

Naruto was attacked by a mob of people that weren't satisfied with merely beating him – they were trying to kill him. In an attempt to protect him, Kyuubi used Naruto's agitated emotional state to force her chakra through the seal, causing Naruto to give in to overwhelming rage and kill his attackers.

When Hiruzen had finally arrived, it was over. As it was the feel of Kyuubi's chakra that drew him to the site, he was able to guess what had happened. He knew that if Naruto truly was that angry, there was a very real danger that Naruto could decide to leave Konoha, or even worse, destroy Konoha, despite his best efforts to keep him loyal and in line. While Naruto was recovering at the hospital, Hiruzen had Jiraiya place three new seals on Naruto: an anger-suppression seal, a loyalty seal, and a seal that would inhibit his ability to communicate freely with Kyuubi. The anger suppression seal would keep Naruto from becoming angry only at the harsh and abusive treatment that the villagers were constantly heaping onto him, and the loyalty seal would keep him loyal to the village and suppress all thoughts of betraying Konoha for any reason. He also made the decision that Naruto wouldn't learn anything about his status as a Jinchuriki, nor would he be trained to use the fox's chakra until Jiraiya could come and take him out of the village for a sufficient length of time to train him with it and contain Naruto properly in the event that something went awry.

But Danzo had other plans. While many could call him a 'war monger', all he wanted was what was best for Konoha as a whole. He was a patriot, and would do anything to make sure his home stayed strong, and stayed safe. To that end, he tried sabotaging Sarutobi's efforts in trying to bring Naruto under his heel. He had Naruto quietly removed from his home in the middle of the night one night, kept asleep under a genjutsu so he was none the wiser, and once in his possession, he applied two more seals: an intelligence-inhibiting seal that would severely hamper his mental capacities, and a growth-inhibiting seal, which would severely hamper his physical capacities. Once the seals were applied, Naruto was quietly returned to his home before dawn with no one the wiser.

The intelligence-inhibiting seal served to seal away his mental growth and potential – his cognitive thinking abilities, his sense of reasoning and logic, the rate at which his mind would mature, and the capacity at which he could learn mental skills. The growth-inhibiting seal served to seal away the full rate of bodily potential and growth that he would experience – it would do things like stunt his growth, make him clumsier than he would otherwise be, inhibit muscle-memory from taking hold, and limit his ability to grow physically stronger and faster. Danzo applied these seals with every intention of eventually removing them. He wrote and applied the seals in such a way that once the seals were released, all of the growth and potential that he would have had, and even the things that he would have learned, would be returned to him almost instantaneously – granted it would cause him agonizing pain, but it would all be given back, and it would be as if the seals had never been applied in the first place.

Danzo knew that if Naruto seemed slow to learn, Hiruzen would eventually give up on the boy. At that point, he would scoop him up, release the seals, and explain everything that Hiruzen had tried to do to him, and why he tried to do it. Watching Hiruzen's descent into vindictive selfishness really helped drive home just what the Will of Fire was. He could see that Hiruzen had lost his, and Danzo knew that it had to be kept alive in order for Konoha to not only survive, but to prosper. He also knew that not training Naruto early on with Kyuubi's chakra was a grave mistake – a mistake that he was determined to correct. And after having the boy properly trained, and the boy's malnutrition from lack of eating, due to lack of decent food to eat, he would have had his best train him so he would be able to handle the more powerful techniques that both Kushina and Minato left for him. And with proper planning, Hiruzen would have been… disposed of, and with he himself or even Tsunade in the Hokage's seat, and Naruto being properly trained, the village would prosper.

Or at least, that was his original plan. But thinking on the current situation, was things really as bad as they seemed? Yes, Baraggan was more than likely to kill several people, but the village as a whole had been suffering due to Hiruzen's incompetence regarding the training of ninja that many of them were not as powerful as they should be. Not to mention the civilians were almost completely out of control with how they did things, no thanks to Hiruzen giving them the go ahead to get their petty and meaningless revenge on Naruto. so, Danzo could either side with a man who's mind was warped from grief and anger, trying to control a prophecy of all things and attempt to make what should have been one of the greatest ninja the leaf village have ever had in Naruto, all while claiming it to be for the good of the village, a blatant lie that sickened him to no end. Or Baraggan/Naruto, who if he played his cards right, would be able to keep him in the village when he awoke and his merger with the ancient Hollow was complete. Delusional old man long past his prime, or a young man with the power and knowledge of his parents, an ancient soul eating monster, and the strongest of the nine Bijuu?

Danzo didn't even need to think on it for a second, the choice obvious. And maybe he could finally figure out how so many of Naruto's attackers would mysteriously wind up dying when the boy himself had not done it, as the bodies looked like they had been drained of the very souls… he would need to ask Baraggan about that when he got the chance.

With Reina

Reina sat at her desk, dressed in a fitting red robe, going over the letter she had just received from her spy. She hadn't expected one so fast, as ne doubt the whole of Konoha was in an uproar over their little light show, and her spy had apparently barely managed to get the information when the emergency council meeting took place. But what she read in his report stumped her. Her brother body was being controlled be a soul eating monster? And her brother was inside of the Kyuubi's seal, and actually training with the souls of their parents!? Just what the hell was going on over there? But her spy assured her that everything was true, and she had no reason to doubt that he was losing his mind. He had been watching over her brother for years, and did not mince words when giving reports. But how was she to take this? She had always wished to take from Konoha, had it not been for the council, comprised of all the different clans and the few civilians mostly disagreeing with her, and only the Uchiha wanting to help her, as many knew of her brother.

But now… a thing from another world had taken residence in his body, and was going to fuse with him in a short time. And given that her villager's sensor ninja could feel the power spike all the way here in Uzu, she could only imagine how powerful it was in person… or rather, how powerful her brother was going to be. She wasn't sure how to feel at this. While this meant that konoha could no longer keep him bound like a guard dog, she wasn't sure how he would react when he met her. After all, she had been living in the lap of luxury, while he had been forced to live in filth and squalor. Would he rejoice at meeting her, or be angry that she had been unable to take him from Konoha to live with her? With that kind of power, she doubted that anyone in her village would be able to stand up to him.

"Brother…" Reina said quietly, hoping that things turned out all right when she would inevitably meet her brother.

Location: a bandit camp, when Naruto put on Baraggan's crown.

The Night Parade. That was the name of one of the most ferocious bandit camps in the elemental nations. Named after the hyakki yakō, or "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" lead by the Yokai Nuraihyon, which incidentally that was what the leader of them called himself. He was a giant of a man who looked very much like a demon himself. Almost all of the bandits had at least some Shinobi training, making them even more dangerous than regular bandits. Or rather, they were dangerous. What was once a hospitable camp full of tents, food roasting over fires, and boisterous men was now what could only be described as a wasteland. Burning corpses, deep craters, and dozens of spots that had upturned earth surrounded a lone figure in a camp-turned-clearing.

In the center of the smoldering ruins, stood a figure of pure white in contrast to the black flames surrounding the being. It stood roughly at 5'7 and was covered head to clawed toe in white bone like plating. Even its wings where pure white. Or rather, 'she' was pure white, as she clearly had a well developed chest, despite it being covered in bone. She had a bone mask of some kind of bird, and her eyes were a deep red. Though what was strange were the tomoe like markings around the hole right where her sternum is.

"Disgusting vermin…" the female hollow said as she looked at the remains of the bandit camp. She had been attracted to the large amount of negative feelings generated from this camp, mainly from the poor people formerly held captive. Getting them free was easy, and slaughtering all of the bandits more so, as virtually no one in the elemental nations was spiritually aware, except for maybe the priestess of Demon country. Normally she wouldn't bother with killing bandits, but she had been feeling particularly bloodthirsty, and had decided to quench it.

"But that light's coming from…" her eyes widened, as she realized that the energy signature was coming from… Konoha. Without a moment's hesitation, she began heading toward it.

"Please, let me be wrong. Wrong that you didn't die while I was away, and became like me… Naruto." she thought as she sped toward Konoha.

But just who is this hollow, and how does she know Naruto?

All right, that's it! Ōnoki finally gets his appearance! Well, to be honest, I actually forgot to put him in the earlier chap when all of the Bijuu were freaking out when Naruto put on the crown… so yeah. Sorry about that.

Kushina's chakra chains have the ability to restrict and bind a Bijuu as powerful as Kurama, even when she was weak. So to me, it wouldn't be much of a stretch if they could also work on Summon creatures as well, as their power is nowhere near that of a Bijuu, as Gamabunta had trouble just fighting Shukaku, not even really winning that fight, as he and Naruto did not actually beat the Bijuu in battle, but merely awoke Gaara, and forcing Shukaku back into the seal. So by that, it would be entirely possible for Kushina to be able to restrain Summon creatures as well as Bijuu.

And yes, the Uchiha clan is in Uzu! But how is this possible? After all, Itachi did in fact kill several Uchiha when he was ordered to, yet how could there be survivors? Have fun trying to figure it out!

And no, the hollow at the end there is not an OC. And I know at one point I had a poll for Naruto characters appearing in the bleach world as soul reapers/qunicies/etc, but this is still the Naruto world. So some people could gain bleach world powers, due to Chōetsu/Hogyoku being in the elemental nations. Think of it like a pebble being thrown into a clear pond. While sealed away, Choetsu's power was able to affect people, even if their miles and miles away.
