The Eyepatch
Sparrow Hammer
The first time Hammer met Sparrow, she wasn't quiet sure what to think. The blond Heroin was shorterthan her, as most people were, but not by much. She was also dressed more manly than most men, which was something quiet new to the Heroin of Strength. Sure, Sparrows' pants, gloves and boots were techincelly unisex, her hat matched that of the richest gentlemen in all of Albion, but coupled with her open patch job coat and short man style blond hair, such things were easily over looked. And with Sparrows seemingly hateful dislike for shirts proved quiet flawlessly that she is, in fact, of the female varety.
But what Hammer didn't get was the eyepatch.
"So there's nothing wrong with your eye?" Hammer questioned. They were currently sitting at a table in Oakfields only pub, The Sandgoose. Sparrow had made it a point to get to know her newest friend. And Hammer was questioning her own sanity.
"Nope." The blond Heroin replied taking another swig from her nearly gone bottle of juice. Hammer noted that the blond Heroin seemed to have something against alchol. For reasons completely unknown.
"And you can see out of it?"
"Well, I can't see through fabric. Mostly it's just black right now."
"But you can see out of it?" Hammer repeated. She wanted to make sure Sparrow understood the question, though she wondered if Sparrow understood half the things she was even saying.
"Of course! Ya t'ink I'm just gunna let some bloke take my eye? I'd have ta go on a killin' spree and binge drink of a week!"
"Okay then, but why do you wear an eyepatch?" Sparrow shrugged, finshing off her bottle, her trademark smirk plastering her face.
"Why not?"
"But, I mean, you like guns! How can you properly shoot a bloke if you can hardle see him?" Sparrow laughed, tipping back in the chair she sat in gaining a few odd stares and raised eyebrows. Not that either Sparrow or Hammer cared.
"I can see quiet well, better in fact, than I could before I started wearing this t'ing." She snapped the eyepatch agaisnt her face good naturedly. Hammer joined in on her laugher, unsure wether she was amused or unnreved. Probably both all things considered.
