Hey there minna! You know what I found out? THAT I CAN'T SNAP MY FINGERS... Ugh! I'm so frustrated with that, why can everyone do it except for ME?!

The train's doors closed abrupty, cutting off the path of a few late passengers. While some sat back to enjoy the ride, Natsu mentally prepared for a nightmarish hour.

"So, you're the infamous Lucy." Erza commented, her face hinting admiration. "I-infamous?" The blonde laughed, yet she couldn't help but blush that she was getting approval from Fairy Tail's Titania.

"Indeed. I've heard you single handedly defeated a twenty foot Vulcan from Mt. Hakobe – saving Macao in the process, that you managed to overpower the Southern Wolves' Vanish Brothers, and defeating Duke Everlue as well." The armor clad beauty had a gleam of appreciation in her eyes.

"I have a high amount of respect for girls like you. It's a pleasure to have you in the guild." Gray smiled secretively, having no problem with her taking all the credit.

She saw this and rolled her chocolate brown eyes, in a way of saying that she hated the feeling of taking the credit of everything. "Well, that's the half truth. Gray actually defeated the Vulcan, and I actually had a pretty hard time fighting the Vanish Brothers."

The blonde glanced down at her feet, knowing Gray was staring at her, also knowing that he was aware that she was lying about having difficulty defeating the two hired assassins.

"You're too modest, Luce." The ebony haired ice mage grinned. "How kind of you to say." She joked, with her hand fanning her face in a bashful expression.

"Well, you two seem close. Are you perhaps, a couple?" Erza jested, but on the contrary, she couldn't help but ask it as if she meant it. Gray stared at Lucy, always amused by how she reacted despite being asked this same question already plenty of times.

"A-ah... We aren-"

"Yes, yes we are." He cheered, squeezing in between the two beauties. He wrapped his arms around the girl playfully and smirked. "The only girl I ever loved, isn't that right, Hon?" She snorted.

"Your daily dose of teasing me... Can't a day go by without you flirting with me – I already get enough of that from Loke." The blonde was only joking, and they could tell by the way she flipped her hair and the way she strutted a daring passion.

"I have enough fans trying to pursue me, I don't need you too." She shared, ending it with a dramatic gasp. "Such a diva." He laughed.

"Well... It's good to know you're not all talk." Titania smirked humorously; by that point, Lucy knew that they'd be very good friends. The blonde wasn't usually this comfortable or cocky with people who could beat her up, stuff her in a sac, and throw off the edge of a cliff in the matter of seconds. Yet she felt so warm with these people – well, these people and a flying cat.

"Erza-san, you never told us why you needed Gray and Natsu here?" Lucy finally questioned, yet her mind was lingering on why she had tagged along if Erza only needed Gray and Natsu. "Oh, that's right..." Then there was a pause.

"And please, just call me Erza." She smiled. Lucy nodded, a faint tint of pink crawling its way up to her already peachy-pink cheeks. "I need help." The three words somehow made its way to a bored and inattentive Natsu's sensitive ears, and he was more than happy he overheard that.

The pink haired dragon slayer cackled wickedly. "The Great Erza needs help from me?" He cheered excitedly. "No. She needs help from you and Gray." Lucy answered for her new red headed friend, slightly amused that the mage's face dropped into a distasteful frown after being reminded the reality.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just keep going." Natsu shrugged off the blonde's giggle and the ice mage's pompous grin. "I've recently found out about a dark guild called Eisenwald, and they're after a forbidden spell or caster item called..." She paused to try and recall its name.

"Lullaby, I think that's what they called it."

"What's tha-" The rosy haired wizard started only to be interrupted by himself. He mentally prepared himself, yet he felt like he was involuntarily drifting off... Yup, the train started moving. "I... I'm gonna hurl..." Natsu struggled to say.

He passed out a fraction of a second after, and Lucy chuckled. So lame... "Jeez, if we end up fighting on transportation, I guess we can count him out." Unconscious or not, Natsu could still hear an insult thrown at him from a mile away.

"Lucy, you-" The pale mage muttered before falling inert when Erza slammed her fist into his gut. He fell sputtering colourful language that Gray snickered at. The red head glared at them both, and he stopped his laughter.

About 8 years back and I'm still scared of Erza.

Ignoring Natsu, causing the two across from her to sweat drop awkwardly, she continued: "It's sealed away, so I'd guess it's extremely dangerous."

"Anyways, anything to add?" Erza asked. "I think I've heard about it before, though I'll need some time to dig up through some old memories." The blonde replied. She had the image of the object in her head, for some reason; she didn't even know how it got in there, or how the hell she knew all this.

Lucy couldn't picture it clearly; the memory was gone after the first time it popped up into her head. Now she was trying to recall details about it – despite it being a shot in the dark.

"It's a flute." Gray said casually. Risky move. He saw the suspicious look in his blonde friend's eyes, and it meant she had been remembering things that were best kept for only him to retain.

"A flute?" Erza asked, she sat up straight, and gave Gray her full attention. The ice mage nodded gingerly, being more cautious about what information he gave out to his team. "It's something that shouldn't be used by anyone. I'll tell you that."

Lucy stared at him with interest.

"Why?" The girl beside him shifted in her seat, flipping her hair to the side. "Let's just reflect on this a bit, would you ever think it'd be a good idea to give a dark guild a lethal weapon."

"... No..." Lucy sighed. She closed her eyes, and looked in the other direction. "But why? What does it do?" She finally opened her eyes when the blonde confirmed that she really couldn't recall the image that popped up into her head or anything about it.

Gray stared at the blonde until she noticed, and the spirit mage blushed in response.

"Anyone who hears the music from that flute is a dead man." He said nonchalantly, trying to keep the mood as carefree as possible. Not that it worked very well. Lucy's eyes widened and Erza slammed her fist against the train wall. If a passenger hadn't walked past their booth, the pair that sat in front her were pretty sure she'd slam her other fist into Natsu.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Your information took me by surprise." The armor clad mage apologized, not daring to look at the confused faces of their fellow travellers who'd went in a flurry about the sudden loud noise.

"No, it's alright. I guess it was an expected reaction."

Lucy sent her a soft smile, saying she felt the same way. "But, how do you know so much?" Ah, damn, she couldn't let that question slide? "I'm a smart guy." He grinned cheekily, the blonde laughed quietly, answering his question of 'will she be satisfied with my answer?'

"If Natsu were awake, if only he were awake." Lucy sighed happily. "And why is that?"

Their daily, friendly, and charming banter continued on, leaving Erza cut off from the group without even realizing. She laughed, then he laughed, and Erza couldn't help but think that maybe – just maybe, they'd be lovers one day.

If Natsu doesn't find an interest in Lucy, things will go smoothly. There's no doubt that they'll become a lovely pair. I just wonder what will happen if Natsu does fall for Lucy. That sure will be interesting...

She watched the two with curiosity, while she stroked Natsu's hair out of boredom. It didn't come to her attention that it was time to get off the train till Natsu felt the sudden stop and woke himself up. Not that he was able to move though.

"I'm alive... I'm alive!" The second part of his declaration was too quiet to be considered a happy statement. "You won't be if the train starts moving again." The oddly silent blue cat that sat atop his foot announced. "Happy?"

Erza tried not to sound surprise. How long had he been there, exactly? "What?" He asked. Sounding almost insulted that his presence hadn't been acknowledged. "Nothing. Nothing..." The blonde said, trying to keep the exceed from getting stomped on for using that tone towards the swordswoman.

He knows how scary Erza can be, he wouldn't be an idiot and just blurt out random crap out of irritation, right?

Lucy thought about it for a second and shivered. It's Happy. His best friend is Natsu. Without needing another second to think about it, she came to her conclusion. If she left him to do what he pleased - that should be considered a form of indirect murder.

Gray walked in front of the four as if he knew where he was going, in his head was an already planned out map of the route to the Onibus Station within a few minutes, and knowing Eisenwald's plan, their members, and their fighting style - underhanded and just plain dirty - Gray was confident that this would be an easy win. He spun to face the station as the train whistled and left.

"Alright, let's g-" He commanded, but paused watching Erza rub her temples lazily. "What?" The ebony haired ice mage switched his attention to Lucy, who stood beside him giggling. "Ah... Well, don't you think we're missing a member of our group?" The blonde now straight out laughed.

With all the attention put on Happy, and how the team made sure to remember to include him in the conversation and everything - that required forgetting a different part of their group, and unfortunately for the pink haired dragon slayer. It was Natsu.

"Natsu..." He groaned.

There are some things that just won't change; even after going back in time...
