Kintara had been traveling for a while now and was wondering when she was going to run into Itachi and Kisame. Wandering through the forest, half lost as to where she was even at in this accursed place. Just as she thought her plan was foiled, she sensed an enormous chakra in front of her. She smirked. She finally found them. She entered a small clearing where Itachi and Kisame were sitting and discussing something.
She casually walked up to them, hoping that Itachi might recognize her chakra.
Kisame jolted to attention. "Who are you?"
"I was informed you're looking for the Jinchuriki. I have a present for you."
Itachi raised his head to stare into Kintara's eyes. "Where exactly is this Jinchuriki of which you speak?"
Kintara smiled. "I've lured her in the middle of the ocean on a small boat to the Mist Village."
Kisame eyed Kintara with wary eyes. "How can we trust you?"
Kintara shrugged her shoulders. "What have you got to lose?"
Kisame snapped back at Kintara. "This could be an ambush. Why not just take you out now that we know where a potential Jinchuriki is?"
"Someone's a little unconfident in their fighting abilities."
Itachi raised his arm in front of Kisame's face as he reached for his sword. "Enough. Take us there."
Kintara nodded. "Of course, follow me."
Tashira growled. You're gutsy Kintara. What makes you think that they won't take you down now?
Well Tashira, see what I see. Look into my cousin's eyes. He already knows. He knows who I am.
Kisame glared at Itachi while Kintara dashed in front of them. "Are you sure about this, Itachi?"
"Yes, now come, we must obtain this Jinchuriki."
Kisame rolled his eyes. "You better be right about this one."
Itachi smiled to himself. "Trust me, I know."
Kintara closed her eyes. Tashira, do your thing.
Very well. Kei, prepare for battle.
A very eager Kei replied to Tashira's command. Excellent. I will prepare immediately.
Make sure she loses it again.
Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Gaara burst through Naruto's door, almost breaking it in half. "Naruto, I found her."
Naruto, who was eating ramen, flipped out of his chair backwards while his ramen flew over his head and straight into the wall. "What's the big idea?! I was eating that and now it's ruined!"
Gaara stormed over to Naruto and grabbed his shirt collar. "I'll buy you ramen later. This is important."
"Geez, don't have to be so pushy."
Gaara smacked Naruto on the backside of his head and released Naruto's collar. "I found Aimi."
"What?! How?!"
"Unlike you, who spent his time fighting with Lady Tsunade, I went to look for information. Kakashi saw Kintara and Aimi leaving the village late last night. He told me everything. There's no time to explain everything. We have to get to them before something terrible happens to them. We're leaving, now. Get your gear and move out."
"Do I get the ramen now or . . ."
"I don't have time for this Naruto! Aimi is in danger, serious danger. She's in the middle of the ocean between the Leaf and Mist to be bait for Kintara's little scheme to lure out Itachi Uchiha. If we get there and she's gone, I don't know what I'll do."
Naruto stared into Gaara's blue eyes. Gaara was shaking, not in anger, but with emotion. He had never seen Gaara get so emotional over anyone. For one, he was confused. For two, he was terrified. Naruto pushed himself off the floor and grabbed his ninja tools. He reached for his headband and synched it around his forehead. "Lead the way."
Kintara and her two followers dashed forward to finally seal her plan. She was finally going to get the information she wanted. She led them straight to Aimi. Kintara pointed off to a small boat stationed in the ocean.
"There she is."
Kisame nodded. "Come on Itachi, let's take this one fast."
Itachi nodded as they ran full force towards the sitting duck in the water. Kintara smirked as her demon, Tashira, commanded Kei to use her power to control Aimi. Aimi felt a sharp pain in her head. She curled up in a ball in the small boat and began to transform into the mighty phoenix Kei. Aimi tried with all her might to fight off the demon, but her efforts proved unsuccessful. Kei took over Aimi's fragile body and let out a terrifying screech that could be heard for miles. Kisame stopped dead in his tracks.
"The mighty phoenix Kei, prepare to be conquered."
Kei snarled and flew up above her prey below. "I'll eat you like the pathetic fish prey you are."
She began to muster a strong and powerful fire in her chest. She scorched the water below forcing Kisame to flee to the underwater territory. She circled above the fish like a vulture waiting to strike.
Kintara turned to face Itachi and drew a kunai knife from her pocket. Itachi returned with a kunai of his own. The two began to fight with the kunai in their hands. Dashing forward and back again, striking with renowned Uchiha precision.
"Kintara Uchiha, it has been awhile, little cousin."
"So, you did recognize me?"
Itachi nodded slightly. "Yes. I saw the look in your eyes. That is the look of a true Uchiha ninja."
"Itachi, I have many questions for you."
"Continue, quickly. I don't know how long Kisame is going to fall for this faux act."
"Who were our real parents?"
"So you know then?"
"Who were they?"
Itachi closed his eyes and threw an easily evadable kunai. Kintara ducked and rushed forward, knife in hand as Itachi drew another. The two clashed knives once again as the two warriors heard Kei's fierce roar.
"Your parents were kind people. They cared greatly for the two of you. Your mother cared for her clan deeply. Your father was a brave man. He fought many battles alongside my own father. I regret that I ended their lives. For this, I apologize for taking your parents' lives."
"Itachi, why were we in the Lightning Village?"
He took in a deep breath. "Those villagers kidnapped you two when you were both very young. I searched for you for many years in secret. But not a trace of either of you was found."
Kintara nodded as she lunged to strike Itachi. He easily snatched her hand and held it in front of his face. "Where is Sasuke?"
Kintara slapped Itachi's grasp away and back flipped into an offensive position.
Itachi lunged forward aiming to strike Kintara's shoulder. "Why do you want to know?"
"We wish to help Naruto return him to the village."
"By becoming rogue ninjas yourselves? You should be smarter than that, Kintara."
She scoffed. "Whatever, it'll work. We can overpower him. Two Jinchuriki can easily take down Sasuke."
Itachi shook his head. "You may try, however, you will not kill him. You must swear on your own life not to kill him."
Kintara nodded and smiled. "Yes sir."
Itachi curtly motioned. "Transform, and we'll bail. He is in the old Uchiha Hideout waiting. Good luck cousin, you will need it."
Kintara closed her eyes and called on Tashira's power. Dragon wings began to grow from Kintara's back. Itachi yelled over to his partner.
"Kisame, we're leaving. We cannot handle two fully transformed Jinchuriki. We must seek assistance."
Kisame darted through the water to reach the other side where Itachi was stationed. The two partners departed quickly as Kintara looked to see Kei's form diminishing rapidly. Kintara flew beneath her sister to catch her as she fell. Aimi laid on Kintara's back drowsy and weak.
"Kintara, thank you. What did you learn?"
"Essentially, our parents were awesome and that these douchebags kidnapped us when we were young. The end."
Aimi closed her eyes and tried to imagine what her mother would have looked like. "Kintara?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm glad I found you."
Kintara looked below her and saw her reflection staring at her from the rippled waters. Kintara shed a tear as she smiled. "I'm glad I found you too sis."
