The ninth time Emma went to jail, she flopped back against the couch and threw her arm over her eyes, letting out a defeated sigh. Henry chuckled beside her, causing another sigh. She peaked under her arm to see red lips smirking.

"This isn't remotely funny or ironic." Emma whined.

Regina's smirk somehow intensified. "On the contrary dear, I find it to be quite hilarious."

Emma covered her eyes again. The blonde had learned three things that evening. The first, was that the Mills family took their gaming seriously. Of course Henry took his video games seriously, but Monopoly was entirely different. The boy was ruthless. It was clear that when it came to competition, he had gotten a large dose of both nature and nurture. She was also fairly certain that he was skimming off of the bank pile in front of him, but she couldn't be sure, as she hadn't caught him outright. Regina was just as bad, if not worse. She had dominated the board faster than Emma could say bear claw. Little green hotels littered the board, particularly on all four Railroads, Park Place, and Boardwalk. It was all very suspicious, if you asked her.

The second thing Emma learned, was that she was right in the middle of a moment she had dreamed of her whole life. When she had been younger, and moved from family, to group home, to family, a constant image had stayed with her. This was it, a family game night, with laughter, and fun, and gentle teasing. She didn't dream of all the sass, however, but it was Regina, so she supposed it was alright. She looked around. Her heart swelled at Henry laughing at something his other mother said, his head thrown back and holding his stomach. It made her hand go to her own, the small growing bump giving her comfort. She saw the glow from the fire catch Regina's face, making it glow and her eyes sparkle brightly. Her smile stretched wide and effortlessly as she looked at their son's mirth. Emma Swan had found home. It was here, with her son and Regina. Regina that was her...friend? She certainly was no longer her enemy.

The blonde didn't get to ponder this any longer as she realized the third and final thing. Her unborn child had somehow floated right onto her bladder. She had thought that this was supposed to end near the end of the first trimester. Apparently kidlet wanted a last hurrah. With a sheepish grin to the game's other participants, she made a mad dash to the nearest bathroom, Henry's loud sighs and Regina's threats to buy her diapers following her the whole way.

Regina watched the blonde practically sprint out of the room. She shook her head in amusement.

Henry scrunched his face up. "How long is that going to happen? She had to go three times when were visiting grams the other day."

"It shouldn't be too much longer. A few more weeks, I think." Regina got lost in thought, thinking of the pregnancy research she had done, and missed what Henry said.

"I'm sorry, what was that dear?"

"I said I'm glad that Mom is here. I like us all being together, and it's a whole lot easier than going back and forth from the apartment."

Regina smiled brightly. "Yes, I find I quite like it too." She looked pensive for a moment. "Do you think Emma-"

The blonde in question choose that moment to come back in.

"Do I what?" She sat back down, leaning against the couch.

"Henry and I were just discussing the new living arrangements. I was wondering if you found them as agreeable as we do?"

Emma scoffed. "You kidding? I'm living with my kid, and...well, you're my best friend. Of course I find it agreeable."

Regina visibly loosened up at her words. "I'm glad to hear it. Now, shall I finish winning? I believe it's my turn." She paused to look at Henry. "Darling, would you mind getting us all a refill?" Henry got up and collected their glasses and got almost to the door before Regina spoke again. "And dear, if you're going to attempt cheating, you should at least go for the smaller bills. The 500's are quite noticeable." Henry's face turned red and he gaped like a fish before turning and fleeing into the kitchen.

"I knew it!" Emma forcefully poked the air in front of her for emphasis.

The brunette chuckled. "When he first learned to play, he insisted on being the banker, even though he had trouble counting. He would slip one here and there when he didn't think I was looking. I really should have discouraged him from cheating, but it was just so endearing that he thought he was being sneaky. So I pretended not to notice. I assure you that this game is the only thing in which I let him get away with such."

"I don't remember having that memory from New York."

Regina smiled thoughtfully. "I only just remembered when I saw the game earlier. I haven't thought about that in years. Mine and Henry's game playing days were long gone when you got here. I actually think this is the first one we've played together since he was around eight."

Emma looked appalled. "Jesus Regina, that's been like six years!"

"I know."

The air was heavy, both women lost in thought about the things they both had missed.

Emma looked up, a determined look on her face. "We should do this, like once a week. We should make time, just you, me, and the kid."

A look of wonder came across Regina's face. "You'd like that?"

"I dreamed of this kind of thing when I was younger. I'd like nothing more."

A tint of red appeared on Regina's cheeks. She rose, picking up their empty plates. "I'll go see what's taking Henry so long. She paused in the doorway, looking back at the blonde on her floor. "I'm happy that we can do that, that we can make your dreams come true." Before Emma could respond, she had disappeared around the corner.

Emma sat there, absently rubbing slow circles on her belly, wondering whan the hell had just happened.
