As we flew through the sky I was still wondering what my dream meant . Ingerul meu suflet negru . As we flew over acres of trees and grass , the little streets and shops gradually became just land, and I wondered where we were going . He probably lived near the woods on the outsides of the village . Maybe Rudolph could tell me what it meant?
"Rudolph,do you know what Ingerul meu suflet negru means?" I asked, quite surprised that I
remembered all of it,even if i had no clue how to say it correctly.
"I know meu means my,but I'm not quite sure what the rest is . Its definitely Romanian, and my mother and father can speak Romanian well," he told me,looking at me in confusion,
"Why do you ask?"
"It was in my dream," I stated, pulling my hoodie further down my arms. We flew a while longer in silence, until we passed a field with cows.I started to snicker, remembering Tony's face twitch in disgust when Rudolph's fangs sunk into the cows . The two younger boys looked at me as if I was crazy, and i just shook my head and looked down, admiring the dewy fields and trees glimmering in the moonlight. Tony was whooping and cheering like the little 10 year old he slowly started to descend towards what I thought was a big rocky field, but as we got closer,I could make out the shapes of the were headstones.
"We live down there," Rudolph told us,nodding in the direction of the graveyard.
"Cemetery?cool!" Tony cried, seeming very exited to be going into a cemetery. And I thought I was morbid! We slowed down and landed on the soft, dewy grass in silence.
"I could get used to that," Tony told us,leaning on a headstone to get his balance. The two boys went to sit on a rock to talk about the amulet, and I wandered round looking at the graves.

"Thomas Steedman,1897-1965,loving father,husband,grandpapa and brother."
"Brittany Frey ,1977-1990,beautiful daughter and gone to soon."

My heart skippe a beat at the thought that there could be a grave with my name and that exact age on it,saying how I would be missed . If only my dad hadn't walked in.I hurriedly wiped the lone tear from my cheek ; i didnt want anyone to see me crying .I walked back over to the boys, interested in why Rudolph wanted to know about Tony's drawing.
"Who am I gonna tell?" Tony asked, looking at Rudolph, "Who's gonna believe me?"
I instantly felt pity for my little blonde haired monkey.I know what it felt like to be left out; alone. I didn't want Tony feeling that way. Not ever. Its a horrible feeling and it fucks with your brain. Tony will never end up like I did. Not if I can help it.

Rudolph looked at Tony, his dead eyes shining with empathy.
"All right. Its the comet Attamon," he started, looking up at the inky, astral sky,
"It is the comet of the Lost Souls . It could be the end of this curse."
"What curse?" Tony asked, still looking up at the sky.I looked up too,and saw the small, ochre colored comet edging closer to the moon .
"The curse of being a vampire." Rudolph told him,"It is the piece of the comet that fell to earth.A great magician made it into an Amulet of Power , and we lost it,300 years ago to the sea,"
I thought about the dream I had the night before school started, with the beam of light coming from the comet and the gathering of people , and the amulet getting hit out of the mans hand and flying over the cliff to the sea.
"Yes,I saw it!You saw it too, didn't you Nicole!" Tony exclaimed, looking at me.I nodded in agreement.I was still trying to get my mind around everything that had happened in just the past few days.
"Yes,and my uncle Von tried to catch it,and we've never seen him since . From that night to this, our wandering has never ended." Rudolph told us,a hint of sadness in his voice . His family and clan must be so frustrated.
"We'll help you find it . It must be what our dreams really mean" Tony told him, putting a hand on his shoulder.I scoffed and rolled my eyes ; Tony could be so cheesy . Tony glared at me,but Rudolph just laughed.
"You remind me of my siblings," he told me,looking me in the eye, "you have the attitude of Gregory yet the caring side of Anna."
Since I had no idea who he was talking about,I just nodded and thanked him.
"But,yes Tony, you're to join our quest . We will truly be brothers now," he told Tony , "oh,and of course,Nicole would be my sister," he said, smiling at me.I smiled back, and poked my tongue out at Tony . He didn't see it though , as he was too busy listening to the shrill animal-like whistling that pierced through the silent hair like a nail through wood . We all looked up at once, and we could hear the wings of animals approaching too.
"Hide,my parents are coming!" Rudolph told us,getting Tony off the stone and pushing him towards a tall headstone.
"But we're brothers!" Tony reminded him.
"They don't know that!Go!"
I grabbed Tony's hand, pulling him close to me behind the tall headstone . It must have been about 6 foot . The flapping sound came closer, and two bats came into view and changed into two people. One was the tall, pale man with slicked back black hair from my dream . The other was a beautiful woman i had never seen before . She had curly, blonde hair teased into two large buns on her head, shaped like the top of a heart . She had high, aristocratic cheekbones and hypnotizing blue eyes with a ring of red on the outside.
"Mama!Papa!" Rudolph cried, running into his mothers arms.
"Rudolph!" She breathed, her gentle voice like bells, "Thank stars your safe!"
"My son,you must not stray so far away again!" His father said, turning Rudolph to face him.
"We were afraid..." His mother started, stroking his cheek.
"I was only taking the road less traveled," Rudolph told his parents, seeming quite embarrassed.
"And you got lost?Poor Rudolph." His mother finished.
"Yoohoo!" A young female voice called.I didn't notice her until now.
"Anna!" Rudolph cried, rushing over to give her a hug . She was sat on a crumbling grave, her long blonde hair falling around her face , and wore the same style clothes as the rest of her family, old fashioned but very beautiful . She had light blue eyes, quite like her mothers, with very light streaks of red running through . She looked about 8 or 9,about the same age as Tony.
"Brother, darling!" She exclaimed as she enveloped Rudolph in a hug.
"You're the nervy one, sneaking off like some daywalker!"
"I wish." Rudolph told her, turning to his parents, "So father, did you find the stone?"
"No,but I'm sure we're on the right path." His father told him confidently.
"Because..." Rudolph started,
"We still have 3 weeks!" His father interrupted.
"Well ,you see, thats..." Rudolph started yet again, trying to get his point across.I could hear the sound of wings flapping again, but I thought it was just a figure of my imagination . My mind always plays tricks on me like this . Tony was watching the pair impatiently, wanting to know what Rudolph was going to say.
"I will not fail you!" Rudolph's father stated.I heard a thump, like when you jump off a bed onto the floor.I spun around,to come face to face with those glowing crimson eyes from my dream . My mouth went dry and my throat closed up.I couldn't move . All I could do was stare.
"Gregory?!" His mother asked, puzzled.I felt Tony spin around behind me and tense up . Greory hissed at Tony , baring his long, gleaming fangs . Poor Tony gasped in terror and ran out from behind our hiding stone.I couldn't run , my feet felt like they were stuck to ground . He held my gaze for a while longer, his eyes boring holes into mine as if warning me off. He hurriedly broke the gaze and run after Tony, who was still screaming . He is so fucking hot!I snapped out of my daze and ran after Tony, wrapping my arm around him protectively.
"No Gregory, they're my friends!" Rudolph stated, pushing Gregory in the chest.
"A mortal?!" Their father growled, rushing over to where we were all standing. He came right up behind Tony and I,making Tony turned around and started stuttering.
"I...Im Rudolph's friend, and he gave us a bite-proof guarantee." Tony managed to get out, shuffling closer to Rudolph . His father looked up at me in disgust, then back to Tony. He put his fingers under Tonys chin, lifting him straight off his feet.
"Hey,asshole, put him down!" I demanded.I tried to pull Tony down, but a strong pair of arms wrapped around mine from behind, pulling me away . Rudolph 's father didn't seem phased by my outburst, and still lifted poor Tony off the ground.I was furious, and I could feel my blood boiling.I was so frustrated at being restricted.I turned around to find myself again face to face with Gregory .I tried to elbow him but he just held on tighter.
"You could be anything to my son . Victimizer , slave , dinner ,perhaps. But you can never be his friend!" His father spat, giving Tony a cold stare. Tony must have been petrified.
"They like vampires!" Rudolph told his father, "And they dream about us!"
"Am I in your dreams,Mortal?" Anna asked, fanning her face even though the crisp January winds were blowing.
"And am I in your dreams?" Gregory whispered into my ear, causing me to blush which is something I never do.I felt a cold shiver run down my spine and I clenched my teeth.
"Maybe" I snapped , looking down so my hair covered my blushing cheeks. He just chuckled and looked back over to his family.
"And they know about the amulet!" Rudolph told his mistake.
"Ah,then they're spies . Rookerys 's knave." His father stated, lowering Tony to the ground . He moved his head around, clicking his tense neck.
"Darling, they don't look like spies." Rudolph's mother said, putting her hand on their fathers shoulder.
"And besides, even Rudolph couldn't make up such a lie . Could you, sweetheart?" Their mother smiled, looking at him as he shook his head innocently.
"Mortal or not, they're just children," She started, kissing there fathers hand softly,
"But if you insist on eating them , go ahead ..."
"I'd have you." Gregory whispered to me.I pulled my arms out of his grasp and run back over to Tony.
"I never said I would . Oh ,its impossible. Leave , I say !" Their father growled, stepping closer to us.
"But Rudolph..." Tony whined, scared he was about to lose his only friend.
"Should never have befriended you . Leave , I say!" Their father demanded, hissing and baring his fangs like Gregory did . Tony squealed and ran away, but I stood confidently in front of him . He hissed again, and all the colour drained from my face . I slapped him hard across the face out of fear and ran to find Tony, leaving everyone but Gregory, who was snickering quietly, dumbfounded.
