"That was Ms. Navigator," Robin said as they dashed toward the source of the scream.

"Who, ya mean Nami?" Gatling breathed.

Robin nodded without turning her head.

"You…ya think she's alright? That scream-" the girl's eyes wandered to her side.

Robin nodded again and after a brief pause spoke again, "I'm sure she is fine."

The girl said nothing and hastened her pace along with the woman.

He'd passed the other a while ago but could still feel the water displace itself behind him as the marimo swam at his heels. Despite what Zoro thought, Sanji was a faster swimmer and as he was finding out, he'd be hard to beat.

It was nearly pitch black and the water was freezing. Their numb muscles only warmed by their hot-headed rivalry. But it could not supply them with oxygen, an element they were both quickly running need of.

After who knows how long swimming through the rather narrow water-filled tunnel, the cook could finally make out a dim light in the distance. He smiled he was going to w-

His smile suddenly vanished as a hand grasped around his ankle and yanked him backwards. A smiling flash of green bolted past his heading for the exit. If any colour beside black could be recognized, surely the chef's face would be fiery red with rage. He chased after him, catching up and this time grabbing his leg. They fought in a tangle of limbs but continued to ascend toward the light.

Upon reaching it the narrow cave opened up into a pond. The two brawling rivals kicked off from one another and raced toward the surface, hitting it at the same time.

"Hah! Take that marimo!"

"What?! I reached the surface first you half-assed excuse for a cook!"

"Oh yeah right! I made it here way before you did!"

"Pfft, well-!" the swordsman choked on his words as he heard a loud scream.

Their expressions changed to cold horror. The cream shook and chilled their spines.

"Nami!" the cook yelled dashing to the shore, Zoro not far behind. They spared no time for anything else and quickly ran toward the yell.

The forest seemed to go forever, the sky was still covered in storm clouds and the ground was now wet with rainwater. The girl glanced over at the dark-haired woman, trying to read her thoughts threw her expression, but it was useless. She could not read her expressionless face. Was she worried for her crewmate? The woman seemed off from the moment they met. She had something to her that Gatling knew she was hiding. She was torn from her thoughts as she suddenly found herself plummeting toward the ground, her foot caught by a think root washed out of the mud by the rain. She was caught by several hands that suddenly blossomed out of the ground.

"Holy-" she said as she gapped at the arms, "hell," she looked up at the woman, "Did-did you…?"

Robin nodded giving a small smile, "I indeed ate a Devil Fruit. It gives me the ability to sprout limbs where I wish."

The girl's shock melted into amazement, "Damn! I never knew Devil Fruits could gift such a power!"

Robin smiled again helping the girl to her feet, but her attention was suddenly jerked as she noticed a foot print next to the girl. Gatling took notice of this and followed her eyes.

"Sandals, and they are far enough apart to be him," Robin said kneeling down and finding more footprints.

"Straw hat?"

"Yes," she rose and began following the prints. Eventually, they stopped abruptly and a large imprint replaced them along with several handprints, "It looks like he tripped, but over there he falls again," Robin said gesturing to another imprint a few feet away, "but he didn't get up again."

She walked over to the imprint and knelt down, Gatling followed.

"It looks like he just up and vanished."

"Perhaps he was caught by that Zoan woman," she then noticed a small spider in the mud.

"Ah! That's a Devil Spider!" Gatling exclaimed in shock running around to get a closer look.

"It's dead," Robin said picking it up.

"Weird for them to die so young. Even if not much is known about them, they are strong and it's not even hurt."

"Perhaps it dies after it bites someone."

"Yeah, that'd make sense, but that would mean…"

The idea dawned on them.

Shit.

"H-hey, you don't think the reason Devil Spiders can eat Devil Fruits is because they have sea prism venom, do you?"

"You did say before there were theories about such a substance. If that were true Mr. Captain could be in serious trouble. We should look around for more clues and try to find him."

"What about yer crewmate? How 'bout we split up? I'll look for the Straw-guy and you go help yer friend. I'll leave a way for you to follow."

Robin felt something off about the plan but she went with it, nodding before heading off.

Gatling smiled as she left and walking leisurely, in the opposite direction.

"NAMI-SAAAAAAAN!" the cook yelled bounding over fallen trees and barreling through branches, causing them to recoil into the swordsman's face.

"Gah! Dammit love-cook!" his curse went on ignored as more branched feel into his vision.

The ground suddenly disappeared from beneath them and they tumbling down a steep incline filled with a sticky, white thread that gathered around them.

"Dumbass…" Zoro mumbled when their momentum gave out, but he was again ignored as the chef jumped to his feet.

"Nami-san!" They heard a squeak from the other side of the ditch.

"Zorrrroooo! Sanjiiii!" a familiar voiced squealed.

"Chopper?" Zoro said standing just in time to be knocked into the ground by a reindeer.

"What the hell is-" Zoro froze noticing the two unconscious forms on his back.

"Zoro! Sanji! I'm so glad! We have to get out of here! There's-"

"Ah! My precious Nami-swan! How could you let her get injured?! You should protect her with your very life!" Sanji yelled.

"We have bigger things to worry about dumbass."

Sanji looked as though he was going to rip the man's head off, "What could be more important than Nami-san's health!?"

His question was soon answered as he noticed a ground of large figures heading toward them.

"Puh, scared of small fry, shitty swordsman?"

Zoro only snorted, "Chopper! Get back; this won't take long."

"Be careful, remember she's a lady," Sanji added.

Chopper nodded taking on his human form and scooping up his crewmates and then dashing to the side of the ditch.

"You don't need me to hold your hand do you?" Zoro said poking at Sanji's apparent fear of bugs.

He snorted, "Not a chance, these bastards hurt Nami-san. I won't forgive them," he replied coolly, attempting to light a damp cigarette.

Zoro smirked and drew his blades.

Finally, some action.
