Lost Girls - Slowly Dying - Season One, Episode Six.
Music - Radiohead - Creep.
"Are you sure about this?"
A smirk planted on the brunettes skin.
"Of course I'm sure."
The lighter brunette sighed. "As long as you're sure Katherine."
"Cecelia, relax, I know exactly what I'm doing." Katherine spoke as she exited the carriage.
Cecelia frowned at Katherine before following her. Picking up her blue dress as she went, she saw Katherine and the youngest Salvatore share a look. She tried giving Katherine a glare, but she was preoccupied.
"You must be Miss Pierce" He then turned to Cecelia. "And you must be Miss Castle."
Katherine smiled. "Please, call me Katherine."
Cecelia faked a smile "And, please, call me Cecelia."
….
Damon's eyes darkened as he smelt fresh blood, and I watched, terrified as he showed his true face.
"Damon…" I tried to step back but he blurred in front of me and I gasped.
"Well, well, well. Look who it is."
I felt paralyzed staring into his red eyes, unable to move.
"This can't be real." I whispered, underneath my breath, but Damon still heard me.
"Oh it's real alright." Damon showed his fangs and growled and me. "And so is this." Before I knew it he had blurred over to me and sank his teeth into my neck.
I screamed as he gulped down my blood. I felt my heartbeat slow, and my teary eyes closed as I succumbed to the darkness.
…..
"Where are you? What have you done Damon?" Stefan's voice echoed through Damon's ears and he smirked.
"I want my ring Stefan, or maybe I'll kill our little protector." Damon replied as his dangerous eyes ran over Jamie's unconscious form.
"You won't kill her Damon."
Damon snarled.
"Don't tempt me brother."
"I'll get it back, but I need time."
"What, did you FedEx it to Rome?! Where is it? I want my ring, Stefan, or my next stop's Elena's and you can explain why her friend is no longer alive." He growled.
" I already want you dead. Don't give me another reason to make it happen." Stefan replied.
" Don't give me another reason to rip you apart." Damon retorted.
"Yeah? Is that gonna be before or after you get your ring back?"
"Just get it." Damon hung up the phone and began pouring gasoline over the bodies that he had killed, keeping an ear out for Jamie's slow heartbeat.
Damon furrowed his eyebrows as he glanced over Jamie and tilted his head.
"You have no idea do you?"
….
Damon growled into his phone. He was walking around the boarding house, avoiding the sunlight streaming through the windows.
"Where are you, Stefan? I'm trapped at the house, and I'm getting really bored and really impatient, and I don't do bored and impatient. Bring me my ring. Damn it." He hung up angrily and turned to the body laid on the couch.
I groaned heavily and my eyes refused to open.
I felt a sticky substance on the side of my neck but I felt my body shut down.
"Don't get blood on the couch!" Damon moaned."Please…"
He walked over and peered down at the damage and he whistled lowly.
"Damn. I got you good didn't I?"
Damon sighed.
"Well, you're not gonna be any fun today. I'm so gonna regret this." He pulled up the sleeve of his shirt and bit into his wrist.
"Come on Jamie."
I groaned as I felt liquid slide down my throat, and I grasped onto Damon's arm.
"There you go." Damon whispered. I felt a hand brushing my hair backwards. "Drink up. Good girl."
I gasped as I shot up wide and I felt myself being pulled into some sort of vision.
It was as if I could see through someone else's eyes, but they walked up to the window and pulled the curtains aside to see what was going on outside.
"Wait. Where did you learn this game?" Stefan shouted gleefully at his darker haired brother, running across the garden.
"Camp outside Atlanta. One of the officers picked it up at Harvard. Catch!" Damon threw the football that was in his arms and smiled as his little brother caught the ball.
"Wait a minute. Wait a minute. What are the rules? What are the rules?" Stefan laughed as Damon sprinted towards him. Damon tried to tug the ball away from Stefan but he managed to push him out of the way. They both began to play again before a sultry voice interrupted them.
" Who needs rules? Mind if I join you?" Katherine smirked as the boys stared at her in awe.
"Uh, well, you could, uh...you could get hurt. My brother likes to play rough." Stefan stuttered.
"Somehow, I think that you play rougher." Katherine walked over to Stefan, staring into his hazel eyes, before she snatched the ball from his arms and ran away from the two.
Damon "Why are you just standing there? That is a girl who clearly wants to be chased. If you don't do it, I will."
They watched silently as both Damon and Stefan chased after Katherine. They sighed as they let go of the curtain.
"What are you up to Katherine?"
I gasped as I came back from the vision and jumped up off the sofa.
I glanced around me wearily as I heard loud music playing throughout the boarding house.
"Boo!"
I jumped as Damon blurred in front of me, I wouldn't let my eyes off his dangerous form as I backed away from him slowly.
"I see you're back from the living"
I sneered at him. "Stay away from me."
"Ouch." Damon smirked and held a mocking hand to his heart. "Is that what you say to someone who saved your life?"
I gaped at him in return.
"Saved my life? You bit me!"
Damon laughed cynically.
I wavered slightly as my vision went blurry and my head felt heavy.
I felt Damon grab me around the waist before I fell.
"You should not be fainting right now. I just fed you my blood." He asked himself confused.
"You what?" I whispered, but I didn't hear his reply as I felt myself being pulled into another vision.
Again, it was like I was seeing through the eyes of someone, but looking in a mirror didn't work, I could only see from the shoulders down. The body followed the sound of someone's voice before walking into the room.
"What were you thinking Katherine!" The female growled.
Katherine turned and rolled her eyes.
"Will you please relax. I know exactly what I'm doing." She smirked.
"Biting Stefan? Telling him that you're a vampire! Are you insane?"
"I compelled him not to tell anyone." She replied.
The female sighed. "Just be careful. We have no idea what kind of people are in this town."
Katherine frowned.
"Cecelia. K-
I inhaled as my vision broke off. I glanced around groggily, Damon must've put me back on the couch. My head hurt, and I was so confused, I don't understand who Katherine is, but she looks exactly like Elena. I felt my eyes began to well up. I have no idea what is going on with me. I don't know why I'm getting these visions of Damon, Stefan, Katherine or the other person. And I don't know why Katherine is identical to Elena. Her voice was different, but similar, it had a feeling of selfishness and I know Elena is not that. I don't want to mention it to Damon because I have no idea what he would do if he found out that I know.
I groaned as I felt the tell tale signs of another vision. "Please. No more…" I trailed off as it pulled me through.
I watched through different eyes as Stefan chased Katherine through the Salvatore garden maze, they both stopped running and I glanced down to the book in my hands, pretending to read the words littered across the pages.
Katherine laughed. "Ha! What's my prize?" She smiled sultrily at Stefan behind hooded lashes.
"What would you like it to be?" Damon smiled but it didn't quite reached his eyes I noticed, although I pretend not to notice the sad look in his eyes as he watched his brother and the girl he liked flirting.
Stefan didn't noticed and smiled gleefully at him. "They extended your leave?"
"I was simply having too much fun to return to battle." Damon replied.
"Your commitment to the confederacy is inspiring." Stefan quickly walked over to him and hugged him.
"Well, this works wonderfully well for me." Katherine spoke and I glanced up, wondering what she was up to through narrowed eyes.
"How's that Miss Katherine?" Damon asked as him and Stefan broke from their hug but Stefan still had his arm over Damon's shoulders.
"Now I'll have both of you here to keep me entertained. First and foremost, I'll need someone to escort me to the founder's ball." Katherine smirked.
"With pleasure. I would be honored." They both spoke at the same time and I grimaced and scowled at Katherine knowing full well she did that on purpose.
"The smart and kind Salvatore brothers both coming to my rescue. How will I ever choose?" Katherine walked away slowly, leaving both brothers anxious for her decision.
I sighed and got up from the bench picking up my skirts as I walked away too, although, I stopped and glanced back at Stefan and Damon and they both seemed puzzled.
"Be careful. Don't let her play you for a fool." I didn't wait for an answer as I carried on my way.
I felt something soothing coaxing me from my vision. I grasped onto where the warmth was coming from and I reluctantly opened my eyes. I was very out of it but I felt someone behind me, stroking my hair, whispering incoherent words into my ears.
I felt them pull away from me as they noticed my pupils dilate in a high.
"You've had way too much."
"Damon?" I grumbled. I could feel myself passing from the reality I was in, to the visions I was having and I could feel one coming again.
This vision was different. I didn't understand why but this time it was as if I was seeing everything through Katherine's eyes. I could feel everything she was feeling and I didn't like it one bit. Especially because it was so intimate.
Stefan and Katherine were both making out passionately, Stefan gazed at her with loving eyes, and she stroked his cheek gently.
"I will love you forever." Stefan declared.
"Forever, is a very long time you know." Katherine frowned.
"Not long enough." Stefan watched intriguingly as he watched Katherine's fangs elongated and her eyes become red with hunger, he didn't get a chance to scream before she bit him in the neck, gulping greedily at his blood.
"Please...I can't take anymore…" I whimpered and held my head as the stabbing pain began to get worse. I could feel a pair of ice eyes watching me curiously, but I couldn't say anything as I was pulled back into the vision.
I was once again seeing through Katherine's eyes as she watched Stefan through the mirror she was currently looking through and her handmaiden Birdie was helping her do up the corset of her dress. Katherine could hear Stefan heartbeat return to a normal rate and glanced at him as he began to stir.
"Good morning, clear the room please." Birdie left and Katherine frowned at Stefan. "You're upset."
Stefan gaped at her. "Your face, it was like a demon."
"But you're not afraid." Katherine stated as she walked closer to Stefan who was still laid on top of the bed, bloody.
"Get away from me! Get away!" He scooted towards the headboard, but he didn't take his fearful eyes off of Katherine.
Katherine smiled as her eyes began to dilate. "It doesn't change the way you feel about me. You will not tell anyone."
"I.." Stefan muttered as he couldn't help but gaze into her beautiful doe eyes.
Katherine shushed him. "We will go on exactly as we have."
"Yes, we will go on." He replied still mesmerized.
"You have no idea of the future I have planned for us, Stefan...You, me, Damon and Cecelia... No rules."
She smiled beautifully and I was torn out of the vision back into reality.
I grumbled as I came sound of loud music piercing through my skull. I sat up from the couch holding my hands to my head in pain.
"She's awake!" Damon yelled.
"Can you not? I have a raging headache. What am I still doing here Damon?" I glanced up at him and noticed him holding a half empty bottle of bourbon in his hand.
Damon laughed. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the couch." He rolled his eyes at my look. "It's not like I can walk in the sun without my ring. That's why I need Stefan to bring it."
I narrowed my eyes at the vampire.
"And why would he do that?"
I noticed Damon narrow his eyes back at me and he blurred in front of me, pulling me up harshly, and forcing my hair to one side, leaving my neck bare. My eyes widened in surprise.
"Because I will kill you if he doesn't."
His grip didn't let up and I gulped. But I was confused as he narrowed his eyebrows at me, and I watched silently in fear as the veins under his eyes began to appear.
"Are you bleeding?"
I became confused as he turned me around and Damon glanced at my back that was still bare due to the bikini I was still wearing. I felt him trace two identical, bloody scratches down my shoulder blades.
"Did you know about this?" He asked. I glanced over my shoulder worried.
"What? What is it?"
"You have marks on your shoulder blades." He shrugged it off and walked away from me.
I was beginning to feel like this was either a sick joke, or a really bad dream. I'm still deciding on which is worse.
I was pulled out of my thoughts as Damon's phone rang and he smirked as he answered.
"Hello brother. Do you have my ring?"
"I can't believe you Damon. You turned Vicki Donovan? What is wrong with you?"
"Vicki? No, no I don't think so." Damon pretended to ponder. "Ah wait yes, yes I did. Have fun with that little brother. Suns going down, meet me in the woods otherwise Jamie dies." Damon hung up and my bright eyes stared back at him.
"Vicki? As in Vicki Donovan?"
Damon just stared right back at me with his ice eyes.
"What did you do Damon? Did you kill her?" My eyes began to water.
He made a face at me and sighed. "Technically."
My eyes didn't waver from his. "What are you talking about?"
Damon pursed his lips and shrugged. "I turned her."
I gaped at him.
"Into a vampire?"
"No into a unicorn." He replied sarcastically.
My vision became blurry with the tears that began to appear. "Why...Why would you do that?"
Damon stalked closer to me. "I was bored."
My eyebrows raised in shock. "You turned her because you were bored! Are you crazy!"
Damon scowled at me and blurred to meet me and I gasped at his speed.
"Would you rather it was you?"
My mouth tightened and I looked away from his eyes.
"Didn't think so."
The tension was interrupted by Damon's phone. He raised it to his eye line before he glanced back at me.
"I have to meet Stefan. Looks like you're free to go."
I moved hesitantly to the door and Damon followed my every move.
"For now."
My eyes widened at his comment and I peered at him beneath my lashes and dashed out of the boarding house as quick as I could, without looking back.
The cold evening air began to smother me as I shivered beneath it's touch. I didn't even notice I was crying until a tear dripped from my eyes. I rushed back home as quick as I could and jumped on top of my bed. Sobbing my heart out.
I had no idea what has been going on the past few days, especially within myself. I could feel something brewing inside of me. It was flowing through my veins and I had no idea what it was. And the visions. I don't know why I'm seeing them. They're obviously Damon and Stefan's past life, and I assume it's from when they were human.
And the girl? Katherine? She looks exactly like Elena and I don't understand why, but she must've played an important role in both of their lives for me to see that. I don't know what brought them on either.
Thank you to everyone who has either, followed this story, Favorited or reviewed it really does mean a lot. And I know I have multiple different Vampire Diaries fanfictions going on at the moment but they are all different in my eyes. Although, I never plan to how these go which is why they take so long to write sometimes! Please let me know what you thought of this chapter. Even though it doesn't seem like it now, I know where I want to go in terms of Jamie however, who she connects with, whether romantically or not I have no idea.
Let me know if you want to see anything happen it later chapters.
