"Dad!" Alan's voice came over the video screen.
"It's Alan!" John cried and they all ran and stood by the screen.
"Alan! Where are you? Are you safe?" Jeff asked.
"I'm at the satellite relay station with Tintin and Fermat. Fermat's going to hack into the main computer system and give control of Thunderbird 5 back to you." Alan said and all the Thunderbirds suddenly became elated at the prospect.
"We're standing by." Jeff said.
"Hey Alan," John said while he had the chance, "Where's Marlie? Is she safe?" Alan looked uncomfortable and didn't reply. "Alan is she safe?" Everyone was silent.
"The Hood keeps her in his sight at all times. I think he's planning on taking her with him to London."
"And then what?" John asked. "Alan..."
"I don't know." Alan said and everyone looked at John as a couple of tears rolled down his cheeks.
Marlie had been sitting in Thunderbird 2 for what seemed like hours. If she wasn't tied up she would run and find Alan and tell him to run – the Hood was more dangerous than they had ever assumed. She jumped when the Hood, Mullion and Transom walked into the control hub of the ship and began preparing for flight. They set a course for London and took off. Marlie had never been more terrified in her life and she prayed that Alan was able to save his brothers and father and that they were following her.
"We are back online." John smiled. The men in the space station smiled and hugged each other.
"The Hood's in Thunderbird 2. He's headed for London and he has Marlie with him. We couldn't find her anywhere and she wasn't put in the fridge with us." Alan said.
"I think the Hood wants her with him so he knows how to work the technology." Tintin added.
"I'm sorry John." Alan said.
The Hood, Transom, Mullion and Marlie were currently landing in Jubilee Gardens in London. The way they were landing was causing public chaos. They had already crushed an ice cream van. Mullion dragged Marlie down to the Mole and they dug into the ground and underground, through to the Thames.
"Sir, if we continue on our present course, we'll sever the monorail's subterranean supports. Shall I adjust our course?" Transom asked.
"Stay on course." The Hood commanded.
"But sir, we'll cause a major disaster."
"No. We. Won't." The Hood said, "The Thunderbirds will."
"You monster!" Marlie shouted from where she was kneeling on the floor.
"Shut her up Mullion." The Hood smiled and Mullion back handed Marlie across the face.
The Mole came out in the Bank of London and Mullion dragged Marlie into one of the cages before untying her and shutting her in.
"No, please! Let me out!" Marlie cried, shaking the bars. "Let me out!"
The Thunderbirds ran to greet Alan, Tintin and Fermat. They all hugged and then John looked around.
"Where's Marlie?" John asked.
"She wasn't on Thunderbird 2 so the Hood must have taken her with him in the Mole to the Bank of London. He's got her as a hostage." Alan said. John bit his lip and then looked at his youngest brother.
"Well, go and save her for me brother!" John said, clapping him on the shoulder.
Marlie smiled when she saw her Aunt Penelope standing there looking as gorgeous as ever. Unfortunately she was quickly joined by her in the cage.
"Have you seen John, is he safe?" Marlie asked her aunt.
"No I haven't but I know that he left Thunderbird 5 with the others alive." Penelope assured her. Marlie smiled.
"The Thunderbirds. They're here." The Hood said and Marlie ran and grasped the cage bars. "Kill them all."
"No!" Marlie shouted.
"Quiet you stupid girl." The Hood said and Mullion gave Marlie another back hander before leaving.
Jeff ran in and saw them.
"Penny!" He cried.
"Jeff, no!" Lady Penelope cried and Jeff was thrown back into the cage and Alan ran to them.
"Dad!" He cried. Soon enough he was fighting with the Hood.
"ALAN!" Marlie screamed as he dangled dangerously over the rotating blades of the Mole.
"NO!" Tintin screamed and then she flipped the walkway, causing the Hood to hang over the blades.
"Leave me Alan. Leave me to die. Just like your father did." The Hood said and let go, but Alan grabbed his wrist in time.
"I don't want to save your life." Alan panted, "But it's what we do."
With the Hood, Mullion and Transom with the police, Lady Penelope and Parker, Jeff, Alan, Marlie, Tintin and Fermat returned to Jubilee Gardens. They were greeted by the other Scott, Virgil and Gordon. But Marlie looked around for a familiar blonde head. He saw her at the same time she saw him.
"John!" She smiled and she pushed through the Tracy brothers and ran to him. He saw her running and ran to her too. Marlie threw her arms around his neck and hugged him, allowing the tears to flow.
"Now that is what true love looks like guys." Jeff said to the others as they all watched. As Marlie pulled back, John looked at her, crying too.
"I was so worried about you." John said.
"I was worried about you too." Marlie said, "I love you so much John, I thought I'd lost you!"
"Please kiss me." John whispered and Marlie conceded gladly.
