The Evening Stone

The room was getting clearer and clearer. Anakin was now visual. Obi-Wan discovered he was lying on Anakin's bed in Anakin's house. His head felt heavy.

"What happened," Obi-Wan asked. The last thing he could remember was that he was in the Jedi Temple trying to get some air.

"You fainted, I carried you here because I thought you might want to talk about what happened and it's probably private," Anakin explained. "What happened in there?"

"I don't know, I just felt a little dizzy," Obi-Wan said. He was really warm.

"You have a fever," Anakin said. "Don't worry, it's nothing serious".

"I didn't find out anything about your dream if you wondered, just that it was real," Obi-Wan said. He felt really tired, but he just had to say this.

"So, we know that it wasn't just a nightmare," Anakin said.

"Yes, but we don't know whether Qui-Gon was involved, only that there was a Jedi involved," Obi-Wan said.

"It's still worth worrying about, if it was Qui-Gon that means that the object must still be in the Temple," Anakin said.

"His things were removed years ago, I went through them myself, there was nothing special found," Obi-Wan said. He really didn't have the energy to discuss this.

"Then maybe he hid it," Anakin said. He then saw how tired Obi-Wan looked. "Get some sleep, we can discuss this later," Anakin suggested. He didn't have to say more, Obi-Wan had already closed his eyes.

About three hours later Anakin and Obi-Wan were sitting in Anakin's living room. They both had a drink each.

"Whatever this object is we have to go looking for it," Anakin said.

"We can't, we have to go chase Grievous remember," Obi-Wan explained.

"Then we have to try and do both at the same time," Anakin said.

"How? We have no idea where Qui-Gon might have put it, it could be anywhere in the entire galaxy," Obi-Wan said.

"We have to try, Maybe Grievous is looking for it too and we will have to do both jobs at once," Anakin said. Just then Padmè entered the room. The two men fell silent.

"What are you two up to," she said. "I didn't know that Obi-Wan was coming over".

"Neither did I, he fainted," Anakin said.

"Are you okay?" Padmè asked Obi-Wan.

"I'm fine, only a fever," Obi-Wan said. Padmè gave him a worried look.

"Are you feeling alright?" she asked him.

"I'm feeling fine, thank you," Obi-Wan said.

"I think it's best if you stay here tonight," Padmè suggested.

"No really, I don't want to bother you," Obi-Wan argued.

"There's no way I'm letting you go home like this," Padmè said. Obi-Wan agreed.

"Then we also get time to discuss you know what in the morning," Anakin said.
