Adam takes a swig of his beer. He knew Tommy was dying to know if Aisha had mentioned anything to him about Kimberly but Adam was reluctant to disclose much information. "So Tommy, for the bachelor party, Hayley will cater the food and we will have our "special guests" will be arriving at eight-thirty sharp."

Tommy nods his head but he did not want to discuss his bachelor party plans. "Sounds like that is all taken care of," Tommy twirls his beer bottle in his right hand. "So have you spoken to Aisha yet?" "I bet she is shopping like crazy; racking up credit card debt."

"No, I think Kim has her covered on that front and yes I did talk to her," Adam sets his beer bottle down on the living room table. His hands had suddenly become shaky.

"Oh yeah, Kim has bank; she did make the Forbes richest list," Tommy takes a swig of his beer. Maybe she happy living the life she has, with all that money. "Uh…not that I was checking up on her or anything." "Kat had left the television on one of those celebrity channels and before I had a chance to change the channel poof there she was."

Yeah right, we all know besides Kat and Tanya that you monitor Kim's movements. "Right, Aisha loves to watch those shows and envision herself being interviewed on one." Adam picks up his beer and takes a swallow. "Aisha is shopping until she drops literally." "Kim is rich, so she calls ahead and the designer stores close down for her and give those appetizers and champagne to drink." Adam takes another swallow of his drink. "She told me that she feels like pretty woman minus the hooker part."

'Tommy cocks his head. "I doubt she would mind playing a prostitute for you." "A woman who plays dress up is sexy in my book."

"Oh, she has already but can you just imagine Kim and her doing their own version of pretty woman?" Adam laughs at Tommy's expression.

Tommy licks his lips. "I always thought the two of them shared a special bond especially after we received our ninja powers."

"You two; I thought I was the only one who envisioned the two of them undoing each other's robes when we separated to bathe." Adam drinks the last of his beer.

"I would give anything to go back in time and relive those days over," Tommy takes a huge gulp of his beer. "It was not all carefree but we had so much fun."

Adam glances at his best friend. "Are you leaving out the fact that Kim was still around and you two were the super power ranger couple?"

Tommy bites down on his bottom lip. "Honestly, sometimes I think about what would happen if Billy invented a time machine and we could change one thing." He sets the beer bottle down. "One part of me wishes that I would have followed my first mind and took Kim to a movie instead of watching her train at the Juice Bar." Tommy takes a deep breathe. "But another part of me thinks that if we were meant to be than her leaving would have changed the course of our lives that we had mapped out." "I do love Katherine; she helped me get over a rough patch."

"Still is that love greater than the one you shared with Kim." Adam reaches into the cooler for another beer. "I know that you two were only teenagers when you dated and with Kat you have been able to date her as an adult but I see no difference in the maturity level." Adam pops the lid off his beer and takes a drink. "Both women have a wisdom that makes them mature even as teenagers, so I digress when people who do not know Kim weigh in and call what you two shared puppy love." "Being a teenager does not mean we are wild and immature."

"I agree with you but the main people weighing in on that are Katherine's family and friends that want to discredit Kim and my relationship." Tommy drinks the last of his beer and sets the bottle down on the table. "They would be partial to Kat and me than Kim and me."

Adam rolls his eyes. "Don't I know and I know that it is hard for you to try and defend Kim."

"It is all in the past; Kim has her life in Florida and I am getting married." Tommy reaches into the bowl of chips and takes out a handful of chips. "Aisha mentioned that I should talk to Kim before my wedding." Tommy eats a couple of potato chips. "If Kim and I had any hope for a future than she would have contacted me years ago." "Maybe she is just having one of those he will be off the market, so I need to do something rash."

"Maybe Kim could be experiencing some notion of longing but Kim does not strike me as the type to want something just because someone else has it." Adam takes a big swallow of his beer. "I think she would argue that the communication goes both ways and you should have been the knight in shining amour and called her."

"Kim was known for the dramatics; she was always fainting and the center of attention." Tommy eats the rest of the chips in his hand. "Remember I told you how she made me wait thirty seconds before she agreed to go on a first date with me."

Adam nods his head. "Yeah, you said after you asked her she turned around and pretended to ponder the question until you called out her name and she turned back around laughing at you."

Tommy grabs a beer out of the cooler. "Kim told me that she could not make it that easy for me." He pops the lid with ease and takes a swig. "That one made you stay on your toes." "She had a flare about her that made you want to be near her any way you could whether it was by being her friend or boyfriend." Why did she not want to be near me anymore?

"Aisha, told me that was one of the reason she was drawn to her." Adam grabs a fistful of potato chips. "She told me that Kim loved all the same things she did and that special sparkle about her was the icing on the cake." He eats a few of the chips. "If Kim had been single Aisha would have had some competition for me," Adam jokes.

"There was no way I was letting her get away," Tommy drinks his beer.

Adam gives Tommy a look. "Then why did you not go after her Tommy?"

"She had made her choice and it was not me; no matter how much I ached to go to her, I had to respect her wishes and let her find happiness with the letter boy." Tommy takes a huge swallow of his beer. "She made it perfectly clear that she was exultant with him."

Adam finishes the chips in his hand. "When has something like that every stopped you?"

"When the girl I thought I was going to marry and spend the rest of my life with broke my heart," Tommy drinks some of his beer. "I question myself all the time about not flying to Florida and declaring my love for her and why she left me to begin with. "Then I come to the realization that I would be the fool pining over the girl that left me and frankly I could not face it if she told me in person what she had written down in that letter."

"I completely understand why you have reservations about speaking to Kim." "Really I do but you need to put that fear aside and really hear what she has to say," Adam tells him gently.
