Long time no see! Well, I hope you'll enjoy this update after so long so, without further ado… 5 Year Gap!

Previously:

In the middle of explaining what happened to the Vongola Family (and it's new boss, the son of the Calore Famiglia Boss), a loud knock interrupted Reborn. As a familiar voice demanded entry, one last bang broke the hinges of the door, slamming it onto the ground. "Kyoya…"

"Happy Birthday Tsunayoshi, Na-Nagi… She sends her regards too."

A sweat trickled down his forehead as the news of the awakened Neo Primo. Deciding to visit him over telling his boss, he jumped away from the Vongola Mansion to the airport as mist started to surround him, changing into an unrecognizable form. However, he still kept his Vongola Ring wrapped around his finger.

Ryohei entered Mukuro's apartment without knocking. Without hesitation, he pressed the pressure points onto Mukuro making him unconscious. He carried Mukuro's malnourished body outside to the van where a fellow doctor was waiting for him. "Sorry but I can't leave you alone."

"Kyoya." Tsuna whispered as he looked at the figure that just broke down his door. He wore a black long sleeved suit that rested over his shoulders overtop a classic white shirt. A purple tie hung loose around his neck. As he lowered his tonfas, the metal weapon dangled against the handcuffs that were locked to his belt. He wore plain black slacks and uniformed black shoes. The wind blew and Tsuna caught sight of sewn on symbols of the Namimori Police on both sleeves of his suit.

Kyoya stood outside the entrance, glaring at Reborn before turning to Tsuna. There was an unexplained depth in his eyes that Tsuna has never seen but before he could say something, Tsuna found himself on the ground with a painful jaw. Reborn did nothing but stare unto Kyoya with a hint of… was that pity?

"Tsunayoshi," said Kyoya as he loomed over Tsuna with a tonfa lifted, glinting slightly from the light in the room. Tsuna didn't know what to think of this and expected another blow as well as a good deal of scolding for being asleep for 5 years. He looked straight at Kyoya preparing for the blow. Instead, after a few seconds, Kyoya let his tonfas fall to the ground as he knelt down on both knees and bowed his head low, expressing a silent form of apology.

At this Tsuna scrambled over to his side, ushering him to get up but he would not budge. "Kyoya! Kyoya! What's wrong with you? Get up, Get up. Reborn, help me out here."

Tsuna turned to Reborn. If you haven't been with him for a few years, you wouldn't have seen the surprised expression he had past his cool exterior.

"Reborn?" Tsuna looked back and forth between his Cloud Guardian and tutor before settling back to Kyoya, "Kyoya!"

Kyoya slightly tilted his head up to see Tsuna's face. "Get up." he demanded with a croaky voice yet using his boss tone. Despite his tone, his face was still panicked. Reluctantly, he complied and sat back on his heels. He then hid his eyes from view. The brunette furrowed his eyebrows as he put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Kyoya, if anything, I should be apologizing." Tsuna said, "You don't have to explain yourself right now. But…" Tsuna said.

Without a word, Kyoya stood up and walked over to the (poor) fallen door. He picked it up and forced it onto the opening before sitting down on one end of the couch, arms and legs crossed. Kyoya closed his eyes waiting for them almost impatiently as if nothing ever happened. Reborn looked at Tsuna and the two nodded at each other. Reborn sat across from Kyoya and Tsuna sat down on the other end of the couch that Kyoya was sitting on, only separated by a vacant seat between them.

"Tsunayoshi, we need to take back the Vongola as soon as possible from the Calore herbivore." Kyoya opened his eyes, glaring at the ground before turning to Tsuna.

"As soon as possible? I've heard there's been some trouble but… What exactly has the Calore family been doing?"

"Repeating Vongola's sin." Reborn said with an angry look, "They've broken most of our alliances with the weaker families that we've put up so far. How they broke them, well, they sure didn't send them a letter for a broken alliance. Vongola now, is currently exterminating the weaker families. And they've been hurting innocent citizens for their own selfish and stupid reasons."

Tsuna clenched his fists as he let the information sink in. "What of Enma and Dino? And their family?"

"They still remain as Vongola's allies but Vongola's hasn't been interacting with them as much so it's probably safe to say that while the alliance is still intact, the bonds between families are currently mute. This is most likely due to the fact that both families were very close to you, the previous Vongola's Decimo. Vongola right now is bloodthirsty and it would be best for both the Simon and the Cavallone family to be their allies." Reborn replied.

"The Calore family has been one of our most trusted allies so why..." Tsuna said mostly to himself.

"Obviously, they're not very trustworthy." added Kyoya. "Being a herbivore brat doesn't help either."

"I haven't met the Calore Boss' son. I didn't even know he had a son or married for that matter." Tsuna said.

"Same goes for everyone." Kyoya followed.

"It was as if they were reserving him without leaking any information about him. As expected of a family specializing in undercover work and secret operations. The moment that it was decided that he be the next Decimo, it was too late. He already had the strongest mafia family in all of Italy. It was mandatory for me so I had to train him myself and it didn't take too long to teach him everything that was required at all compared to you, Dame-Tsuna."

"Hey!-"

"He is an impressive fighter, specializing in a variety of close combat weapons and handguns of course." Reborn said as he ignored Tsuna, "His main weapon still remains a mystery. He has Sky Flames and though it's not as strong and pure as yours, he has full control over it. The brat's good but his personality is intolerable. At this state, you wouldn't be able to take him on Tsuna."

"What did Ryohei-nii discover about my coma?" Tsuna asked.

"The cause of your comatose state is unknown." Reborn replied, "If you can remember, that night of the party, there were no accidents or physical brawls. There wasn't a single attempt of assassination either."

"I suspe- I know that the Calore Family had something to do with this but there wasn't a single evidence to support that." Kyoya hissed. Tsuna furrowed his eyebrows as he thought hard. "I don't really remember much of the party."

"Even if you did, having a single witness would not bring the Calore Family to justice." Kyoya said.

"Using Vongola's power to do that wouldn't help either. It may cause a conflict between the two families." Reborn added. A few seconds passed before he stood up.

"In as much as I didn't want to become the Decimo, I can't really escape the fact that I'm already involved with the mafia. I guess, we have no choice but to take back Vongola to what it should be." Tsuna looked determined as he continued on, "After all, this is not only Primo's will but also mine."

"We need as much help as we can but of course I still need to train so it would take weeks. Should we notify the others?" Tsuna continued.

"By others you mean…"

"The Millefiore, Giglio Nero, Simon, Cavallone, Varia and our family as well, don't forget some of the members of CEDEF because I trust that they've been 'modified?'" Tsuna replied.

"Yes, the CEDEF's changed." Kyoya answered, "But as for the guardians…"

"Right, they still don't know that I've woken up. It's getting late," Tsuna interrupted walking over to the window. An orange hue painted the sky as he smiled softly, "We should probably tell them."

"There is no need…" Kyoya whispered. Tsuna turned to Kyoya, "What?"

"There is no need for cowards like them…" Kyoya turned to glare at him.

For the past hour, Kyoya has been surprising himself. He knew what he was doing until he broke down the door and saw a pair of eyes he hadn't seen for a long time. Anger bubbling inside him, he gave him a smack to the jaw. How dare he wake up only now. As soon he saw the expectant look on his face with a hint of confusion, another face popped into his mind with a similar expression however hinted with forgiveness. Guilt overtook his anger as he dropped down to his knees and bowed his head in a silent apology. Not once in his entire life has he done that low of a bow. Tsuna scrambled over to him, asking him to get up but Kyoya wouldn't budge. Soon, he sat back on his heels with a lowered head, thinking about that sinful thing not actually he himself had done mainly but nevertheless was a part of it. Mentally shaking it off, he "fixed" the door and sat down on the couch.

"There is no need for cowards like them…" Kyoya said. He cursed himself for saying it out loud and even more for thinking about it. He was no different. His hand unconsciously moved to rub the flesh on his left collarbone, pulling his white shirt and revealing part of a scar which seemed to have come from a sword.

Thankfully, Tsuna never saw it and Reborn; he knew.

END!

Well, it's been a "kind of" uneventful chapter explaining the Vongola right now. I tried my best to keep everyone in character. Well, anyways! I hope you have learned something from this and REVIEW please!
