A/N: Yay!! I got this one out quickly to compensate for the missed time! This is where the story picks up, but just to make sure, I'll give another light content warning for sensitive people and youngsters: There is some gore and intense situations in this chapter, as well as some worse language. I don't tend towards writing gory or smutty things (sorry, no smut in any of this story), so even this is pushing it for me, although less for the violence and cursing, but more because I know what it's like to be in that kind of state in this chapter. For me it's just emotionally intense. Anyway, I'll try to update again by Monday (in 3 days for me), but no promises. School likes to randomly kick my ass, so I don't know for sure, but I'll try. Thanks for reading! :D

Bakugo could only watch in silent, wide-eyed horror at the scene before him. He had fallen to the ground at this point, slumped onto the cold concrete with his right arm trembling at the power that took. And as the tendrils of smoke lifted their arms from around him, Bakugo could finally see for himself what happened.

Right in the center of a huge crater of cracked concrete, lay Kirishima, who was curled into a tight ball, covered in dust and blood, both hands tucking his face from sight. And he was softly sobbing and coughing and shaking. What in the ever living fuck had Bakugo just done?

His lip began to quiver. "S-Shitty Hair...? Come on, wake up...!" It was even clear to Bakugo just how much shock he was in, but did he give one single goddamned fuck? Nope.

Of course, by then, Bakugo had already begun to cry, still slumped on the floor. And when he didn't get a response, he finally began to register what was happening. And that sent him into an absolute frenzy.

"EIJIRO!! Answer me and wake up, you son of a bitch!! Come on...! Just p-please be ok, please!" He cried as he scrambled toward the tiny, vulnerable form of Kirishima, the only man he had ever really loved.

As he collapsed at Kirishima's side, he tried to pull his hands away from his face to see the damage, but at a single touch, Kirishima whimpered and cowered away. "S-stop...Katsuki please...no more..." Kirishima sobbed into his palms. Katsuki's heart snapped in two.

It took several minutes of coaxing, begging, and crying to get Kirishima to relax a tiny bit. Kirishima's relief at knowing that Bakugo wouldn't hurt him again radiated off him in waves. And when he finally lifted his blood covered palms from his face...

What Bakugo saw both relieved him and made him want to vomit. Kirishima's face was almost completely untouched save for some small burns on his jaw. But then his neck...oh god.

The left side of his neck had huge dark red burns that traveled all the way to his collarbone. Some of the skin had peeled away, leaving the bright red flesh to ooze blood into the smoke. Thank god his face hadn't been hurt, but Bakugo still had to swallow a sour taste as he looked at how close he came to Kirishima's artery. If he had swung his punch just a little differently, then...Eijiro, Bakugo's beautiful, adorable and passionate best friend, would be dead. And it would be all Bakugo's fault.

In just that one moment, Bakugo flew into a full on panic attack. He didn't think he had ever cried so much in his life. By this point he could already hear people rushing down the hallway to the gym, and he couldn't bear to tear himself away from Kirishima. But he felt arms pulling Kirishima away from him, and he clawed blindly and desperately at the arms pulling him away too, crying and screaming. "EIJIRO!! NO!!" He screeched as he writhed under the grip of more than one person, but eventually giving up as he saw them rush him away in a stretcher. He slumped and hung limply from the arms of his wardens. A tear fell to the ground, soaking into the blood stained concrete.

He could hear his name. Except it wasn't quite his name. It was familiar, very familiar in fact, but it wasn't his name. "Kacchan! Kacchan!!" Three people were holding him, but he was really surrounded by... oh my god. Please tell me no.

A/N: The ending was an on-the-spot decision I made while I was writing, and I'm so happy I did! I think this'll be pretty interesting. Like I said, it's picking up a bit more from here on out. Also, there's going to be a lot of ships introduced from this point on, and I'm sorry if I didn't catch one of yours, because there's only so many I can do, and yeah. But, please write me in a comment if you have any suggestions for a chapter or any other story to write as well! Cool. Byeee~
