Pairing: MirAndy (Miranda/Andy - The Devil Wears Prada)

As soon as they were in the car, Andy broke down. She had tried to hold in the tears in the restaurant but being alone in the car with Miranda, being so close to her was just too much to bear. Miranda had pushed the button of the privacy screen the moment they got inside the vehicle.

"Andrea, darling, tell me... What makes you so upset? It breaks my heart to see you like this. I never wish to hurt you. Please, tell me if I did or said anything that makes you feel this way," Miranda so unlikely pleaded. She so hated to see Andy cry.

"I-I'm so sorry, Miranda... I... I..." Andy sobbed, trying to form a coherent sentence.

"Just breathe, there's no hurry. Just breathe," Miranda instructed gently. To Andy it was so weird seeing Miranda so gentle and patient... She only acted the same way around the twins.

Andy did what she was told and took a deep breath, leaning into Miranda arms while Miranda put her left hand behind Andy's neck. Andy nuzzled further into Miranda meanwhile the older woman started stroking her hair.

"It feels so good. To be here, like this," Andy said after a little moment of calming down.

"Mhm," Miranda hummed, nodding, "I agree."

"You, you do?" Andy said, backing away a bit to see Miranda, wiping her tears. She hated that she was once again stammering.

Miranda gave Andy a look that clearly asked her if she had lost her mind.

"You very well know that I don't do things I don't want to do. If I didn't like being here and holding you in my arms, I wouldn't. Isn't that clear to you by now?" Miranda said, a tiny bit of annoyance in her voice.

"I know that, I just can't help but be insecure... You're too perfect, Miranda. Too perfect for me. I'm so plain and boring meanwhile you remind me of some magical creature. It... It seems so silly, I'm sorry. I just adore you too much," Andy said, embarrassed, pressing herself against Miranda again. She didn't dare to look her in the eyes. She couldn't tell Miranda she actually loved her. Not yet.

"You realize how silly that sounds to me, don't you? It also makes me scared that I will, most probably, disappoint you at some point. I don't want hurt you by not living up to your expectations, Andrea. I really am not perfect, not even close."

"I love your imperfections, too," Andy mumbled.

"You what?" Miranda asked shocked. She wasn't sure if she heard the woman in her arms right. She felt like her heart was about to burst. What Andy felt was terror. She backed up again, just to stare at Miranda, her eyes wide. She couldn't believe she had just blurted that out. She actually hoped Miranda would see the terror she felt from her eyes, just so she could get a reaction out of Miranda.

She did.

The kiss Miranda gave her blew her mind. Like before, the thing between them was full of desperation but this time it was mainly from Miranda wanting to show Andy her true feelings. Last time it was so raw - this time it was all so soft. There was no rushing but slow exploring. They held each other so tight, Andy sliding her left hand on Miranda's cheek and into her hair, tousling it in the most loveliest of ways. It made Miranda whimper.

It all felt so right.

"We need to... Stop," Miranda said between kisses, "and possibly continue this elsewhere. Wouldn't you agree?" Miranda continued with no hesitation. Andy could only nod.

Miranda pushed the intercom button, "Andrea's apartment, Roy." Before Roy could even answer, Miranda released the button.

"My place?" Andrea said, a little surprised.

"If you don't mind, that is," Miranda answered. Andy bit her lip and shook her head.

"Would you like something to drink?" Andy said while putting her keys down on the little bowl next to the door, wanting to do it the right way this time.

"If you have some wine, it'd be lovely. Thank you."

"Sure," she said smiling, offering Miranda to sit on the bar stool by the counter separating her kitchen and living room space.

Wine Andy knew. She started to realize that they actually had so many things in common with Miranda and she couldn't wait to get to know more. She had no idea of Miranda's music taste, except for the concerts she had sometimes gotten tickets for at the office, but they were mostly charity concerts or other events - Miranda's actual music taste could be very different from what she signed up for in the sake of appearance. When it came to her taste in literature, Andy was just as clueless. The only task involving books she had had to take care of at work was the Harry Potter one and that was for the twins. Somehow she wasn't betting on Miranda being a Potter fan... She was eager to know, though.

"You look so lovely, right there, pouring that wine," Miranda suddenly said. Andy but the bottle down, picking up the glasses, handing the other one to Miranda.

"You don't look so bad yourself, either. Right there, watching me pour the wine," Andy said with a tiny smile on her face. Miranda raised an amused eyebrow and got up from the stool, walking in the direction of Andy's book shelves. She went through the backs of the book like she had earlier that day, only now drinking the wine, her other hand grazing the books.

"I see you like books," Miranda said in a question kind of way and sipped her wine. She seemed pleased at Andy's choice.

"I do," Andy answered, proud of her collection, sipping her own wine. It wasn't anywhere near what Miranda herself probably had, but she loved every single one dearly.

"I thought most of the people of your generation preferred those e-book things I see everywhere," Miranda said, disdain evident in her voice.

While Miranda talked, Andy had creeped behind her. She put her right hand on Miranda's waist, her other hand taking the glass from Miranda's hand. She put the glass down on the book shelf, her own she had left on the counter, "The thing is... I'm not most people, Miranda." The older woman moved her head, trying to get a look of Andy, but that was when she lowered her head on Miranda's exposed neck, kissing it and sliding the shirt off her shoulder so she could see more of the creamy skin under it.

"Oh God..." Miranda breathed, putting her right hand behind Andy's neck. Andy now got her both hands on Miranda's waist which gave her the opportunity to turn her around. She slowly made Miranda face her but kept kissing her neck, then proceeding to open the buttons of Miranda's shirt. She got the shirt open, slid it off those shoulders she had become so obsessed with and took her own jacket off. What made her stop her kissing ministrations was the fact that she was wearing the t-shirt which had to be taken off over her head. That left them both with only half their clothes off.

"I need these off. Take them off," Miranda said impatiently, tugging the front of Andy's jeans.

"Yes, but please, let's go to bed," Andy said, tugging Miranda by the hand towards her bedroom. They both stepped out of their shoes on they way to a more convenient place. When they reached the bedroom, Miranda pushed Andy on the bed, opened her slacks and stood out of them. She then crawled on the bed, her eyes blazing and her chest heaving.

"Dear God, you look amazing... Miranda, I have no words."

"Aren't we lucky there's no need for words right now, then?" Miranda said and attacked Andy's jeans. She opened the button and the zipper, tugging and pulling, finally getting them off.

"You're still overdressed," she stated, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"So are you!" Andy laughed, "I want to see all of you, too."

"So be it."

Andy had already seen a piece of Miranda at the office but she sure as hell wasn't prepared for what really was under the expensive clothes she saw Miranda in every day. It was more glorious than she could've ever imagined. And she had imagined, a lot.

"You're so gorgeous... So damn gorgeous," Andy said in awe.

If Andy didn't know any better, she'd think Miranda was blushing. "Your turn," was the only thing she got as an answer. Andy willingly complied. She got up so that Miranda could reach behind her and pop up her bra. While doing it, she got a longing kiss. Miranda tasted like wine.
She then laid down again and wiggled out of her panties.

"You look absolutely breathtaking, Andrea."

What Andy did know was that she was blushing. Furiously so. Miranda got on top of her and started to kiss Andy's neck and Andy couldn't control her little whimpers, sighs and oh's that came out so naturally. Being with Miranda was so easy, she felt like they absolutely melted together.

"What do you like?" Miranda said as she was kissing the sensitive area behind Andy's ear.

"Uh, anything. Anything by you. Please, just... I need you. In any way," Andy answered, rubbing the back of Miranda's neck.

"I guess we can have the big talk later..." Miranda mumbled into Andy's neck, sliding her hand between them towards Andy's center, making the younger woman's stomach quiver on its way. The anticipation alone was so much for her.

"Please," Andy whimpered, "Miranda..." She felt like her legs would give in any second. She felt so lucky she was already laying down.

"So hot... You're so hot and wet for me already, aren't you?" Miranda breathed into Andy's ear, quickly looking down. Even the sight of Andrea made her dizzy with want.

"Yes, oh, yes..."

Miranda was done with playing. She needed to feel the heat coming from Andrea, she needed to feel the wetness that pooled between her younger lovers legs. She pushed one finger through Andy's folds, the wetness taking her by surprise.

"My, my... I was right. You're so ready for me," Miranda said, putting emphasis on the word "so" which made Andy's legs even more numb, if that was possible.

Andy could feel Miranda's fingers exploring her, playing with her and making her feel things she was sure she had never felt before. It was never like this with her previous partners. She thought she'd explode.

"It's like I'm on fire, Miranda... Oh God, please."

"I've got you... This time, I've got you. I want you to let go, Andrea," Miranda said with that sultry, low voice. That was also the moment she dipped her finger inside Andy's core, which almost made her yell from sensation. Miranda hummed and went lower down Andy's body.

"Andrea, I'm going to make love to you now," Miranda whispered, looking Andy in the eyes. Andy groaned and hit her head on the mattress, taking a hold of Miranda's hair. The editor went straight for her lovers clit, spreading the lips with her unoccupied hand to get a better access. She went with long licks, putting extra work on the clit. She didn't want to prolong it too long, knowing the writhing woman under her was burning up. They had plenty time getting to know each other's bodies later. She still had her finger inside Andy but she only now started to pump smoothly inside and out. Miranda could hear Andy's breathing uneven and could see her chest get crimson... She knew the girl was close. She quickened the phase of her finger but kept her licking steady. After a while of groaning and whimpering she started to feel Andy tighten around her finger and Andy's fingers starting to tighten in her hair. Andy pushed Miranda closer to her steaming center, trying to the advantage of every bit of friction she could get. She soon froze and shook out her orgasm, making sounds she couldn't ever remember making.

"Oh shit, oh fuck," she chanted while Miranda kept her phase until she was really getting down from her high. Miranda smiled on Andy's wetness and gave it a little kiss while pulling her finger out. It made Andy tremor.

"Miranda grabbed the nearest sheet, wiping her mouth a little before climbing up and setting herself partly on top of a sated Andy.

"You look incredibly beautiful in the throes of passion."

"Well... I'm hoping to see you in the same condition in just a few moments..." Andy said laughing, feeling happier than ever.
