We've finally made it to the hotel. 'Hotel Alamo'. We can finally settle down after an eventful day.

We walk up to the reception and see two receptionists, one with blonde hair and one with brown hair, they wear matching blue outfits and stand behind a long wooden desk.

"Welcome to Hotel Alamo!" Says the girl with blonde hair. I look at her badge that's pinned onto her blouse. 'Alexa' it reads. I look at the girl next to her and read her badge. 'Sam'.

"Have you guys already booked a room?" asks Alexa.

"Yeah. Room 829" says Jodie. Alexa types it into her computer.

"Room 829: Jess and Jodie?" She asks.

"Yeah that's us!" She types some more into the computer then says that's she's going to check to see if our room was ready.
I look around and notice that Sam hasn't moved since we walked through the doors. Jodie turns to me.

"You thinking what I'm thinking? She asks. Yea I was. This 'Sam' was more than likely a robot. I mean, she hardly moved, she didn't have a face expression and she had a hint of red in her eyes.

"So um, how do we do this?" I ask. We both look around to see if there was anything we could use to help us.

I spot some flyers behind Sam and look to Jodie who was looking at the same thing. We both smile at each other as if to say 'Bingo!'

"Hey, um can you pass me one of those flyers please?" I ask Sam. Without any eye contact, Sam turns around to get the flyer. Jodie leaps forward and finds the tiny battery and rips it out. Sam the robot powers down. Just then, Alexa comes back and stares questioningly at Sam. Me and Jodie turn to each other wide eyed.

"So umm, here's your key." says Alexa while handing it to me; not taking her eyes off her fellow co-worker.

"Ha, thanks...Walk away Jodie. Just walk away" We speed walk over to the elevator and bash the button in an attempt to hurry it up. Five seconds later, the elevator dings and the doors slide open. We step inside and press the button for our floor. We don't see anyone else suspicious while we walk to our room. Thank god.
