Alyx P.O.V.

Seth and I were seated in a super pretty cafe just outside of La push. I just finished off my fifth or sixth, I can never keep track, BLT sub. Seth took a swig of his Coke just as Bree and Embry walked in and I realised how late it was getting because it was Monday and Embry has the 2 to 5 Patrolling schedule with Seth and Paul but Seth was excused from it today because of me, and Embry and Bree go out to dinner around 7. I saw Bree and Embry wait in line, whispering to each other. They glanced at me then quickly looked away.

'What the heck?' I thought. 'Are they talking about me?'

"Alyx?" Seth's voice snapped me out of my confused trance.

"Yes Sethy-wethy-kins?" I said, calling him by the nickname I gave him several years ago.

"I better get you home soon" He said. "Its almost 7 thirty and your dad will be mad if I keep you out later than that seeing you were hurt badly earlier" He said.

"Yeah" I nodded sadly.

"Your dad said I'm making up my missed patrolling time today, tonight." He said.

"When tonight?" I asked

"11 o'clock" He told me.

"You will stay with me till then right?" I asked in my tone of, you better say yes or else.

"Course" He said just as Bree and Embry walked over with their food.

"Hey Alyx, How do you feel?" Bree asked as Embry sat next to me and she sat on his lap since there were only three seats at the table, I could tell they were not staying long since their food was in to go bags.

"Better now that I had around six BLT's" I said.

"That's great" Bree commented just before Embry spoke up.

"You lost a lot of blood"

"I heard" I told him. In fact, I did. several times. Not once from my best friend or my boyfriend and now they were the only ones still talking about it in front of me.

"Well, we have to go. Embry has planned a beach picnic." Bree said with a grin on her face. She loved the beach so much. She stood up and Embry got up after. They waved and walked out the door.

"Come on, let's go." Seth told me checking his phone. "Your dad wants you home."

I nodded and stood up, knowing there was no point in arguing. Seth stood up too, and cleaned off the table. After he was done, I grabbed his hand and walked out side.

As we got into Seth's car, I got a feeling something big is going to happen.
