Thunder Flash had begun his journey back as the sun was setting yet again. Finally, Thunder Flash had remembered the five bits Pixel Skit had given to him, still stuffed in his pocket along with the bigger bag of bits and the poster. He shuffled around till he pulled out the small sack of bits and looked around him for any signs of place where he could get energy on his way back, unfortunately, he saw nothing that would be too overpriced, he was just going to starve till got back to Ponyville. So off he went on the long journey back.

After few minutes of walking in the streets, he had realized something odd and very questionable. "How did Pixel Skit know I didn't have any work? Most assume I live in the town orphanage. And I wouldn't need to work if I did live in the orphanage, *sigh* I bet it's nice there. Red eyes, why red…" As Thunder Flash kept his pace out of Canterlot, something had caught his eye. It was a bright refection off in the distance. He turned his head slightly and looked to were the light shone off of. It was a small, fragile tiara. A filly on the balcony of the castle, she was looking at the sun set with beautiful blue eyes, a light blue mane and tail, and a dark blue coat. She wore a small tiara, a neck piece and tiny shoes. But when Thunder Flash had looked closer, he had noticed the horn and wings. "Princess Luna!" he said in an unexpected shout. He always loved the moon, it wasn't too bright, but it was enough light to keep the dark away, he had always feared the dark until he saw the moon; it was calm and peaceful for him. The princess looked in his direction and smiled, "oh no, she heard me, yet she actually looked. Wow, she's so… small, I thought she was taller than that, but… she looked at me!" He slightly blushed underneath his cloak and quickly looked away, but couldn't help but look back at her smile. The sun finally came too its end and the moon slowly started to rise. A taller and slender white mare walked up next to the filly. Her flowing pink mane and tail were of majestic beauty, princess Celestia's wings were folded away and her long horn rising the moon. Luna looked up at Celestia with a smile, and Celestia looked back with another smile. Luna looked back to Thunder Flash and gave a wave; Celestia looked to what Luna waved back at and saw a dark cloaked pony.

Celestia looked at the distance to be a small and black cloaked pony standing, and watching her sister waving to the anonymous pony with a smile. A memory came to her mind with the face of her uncle saying to her in the hallway.

"Listen carefully Celestia, I have listened to the night sky and have heard of a terrible fate. Your sister will met a small colt in a cloak of pure black, fate will turn their friendship to a deep love, but when the sky falls her heart will break, an eternal night will arise. From her cracked and shattered heart, a nightmare will change her life. The night will shatter the land as her jealousy consumes their lives." Celestia spoke back with a cry, "Can I ever stop this!?" her uncle looked back and said softly. "Yes, but there is only one way," "tell me! Please!" Celestia shouted with teary eyes, "Ok, but you must make me a promise first," Said the uncle, with a twisted smile. "Yes, yes! Please, what is it!?"She said. "Ok then… promise me, when I die, tell your land to kill the red eyed children… Then, your sister will have never met the colt, which broke her heart." Celestia nodded and her uncle walked to his door and slammed it shut with a sudden locking noise.

Celestia gave a stare at the cloaked pony and said under her breath, "no, I won't let u hurt my little Luna… never." The cloaked pony started waving back to Luna.

Thunder Flash went to the other direction, and went his way back to Ponyville.

As Thunder Flash left through the gates, a click came to his mind and he stopped to look through his pocket. The stone's dim glow started to recede to a powerless state; he could tell it wouldn't work as before since the lifting power had vanished throughout him. A long sigh came to Thunder Flash and continued his long walk back with no help of a great magic. Though Thunder Flash was relived from the empty cart, he knew there would be much of a sore pain and a tired mind.

The moon was at its fullest peek with a light shining in Thunder Flash's eyes as they dropped from strain. He slowly kept his pace with weary eyes and his head hanging low, for every step he took he could feel himself weaken. "Come on… don't stop, your so close… so. Close…" he thought to himself. His legs were now trembling from his weakness and collapsing to the faded path. He slowly drifted away to the site of the small village and fell immediately to sleep, with the moon light still shining through his eyes.

Thunder Flash slightly opened his eyes to a burning landscape with pools of blood scattered around corpses with a deadly expression. Ponys everywhere were slashing through the flesh of other ponies, and battle cries echoing across the blazing field. The ponies were either wearing golden or black, silver armour; all had gaping wounds pouring blood. Thunder Flash felt pure terror as the confusion grew. Then, a sudden sight of himself walking across the fields; grasping a blood stained sword between his teeth appeared within the battle. This Thunder Flash was much older than himself, he was a tall height and to his younger self he seemed much handsome; if his face wasn't covered with old scars, fresh wounds, and a black eye patch stretched across his left eye. There were little sites of bandages, and more of blood covering his coat; most were not from the wounds but from others. His expression was angered with a fire in his one eye, and when he looked to the flank, all he could see was a blue glow that blinded the sight of his cutie mark, that's when the younger Thunder Flash realized that it was just a dream, except, he couldn't control anything, it was much more like a vision rather than a dream. The older one was slowly sneaking behind a silver armoured pony that was crouching behind a large rock. A loud snap had made the silver armoured pony sprang to his hooves and slash a sword to thunder Flash. Thunder Flash immediately threw the steel sword at his face leaving a big wound along his forehead; this left him distracted when Thunder Flash sprung himself behind him and put his forelegs wrapped around his neck. The silver pony started to choke up blood and began to pound at the hooves choking him. Thunder Flash had no expression on his face as he started to squeeze tighter at the pony's neck. Then came a loud snap and crackling noise, Thunder Flash had snapped the pony's spine. The pony's head and body slowly limped to a lifeless corpse. Thunder Flash released his grasp and took a deep breath, relieving his burning anger. He took a minute to stare at the pool of blood rising from his throat.

The world around him started to fade away and the younger Thunder Flash finally opened his eyes to the burning sun beating at his eyes. He slowly got to his hooves and started to regain his vision to wear he saw a tall figure standing in front of him and moving in the way of the sun.
