thedarkwhiteangel: I know, I just vanished for months off the internet! Sorry about that! Thanks for the review!

Blood. Bitter and metallic in Tessa's mouth. Cold metal digs into her wrists, the skin rubbed raw.

"Please! No more!" Tessa cried out, trying to free her arms or legs. The metal table is cool beneath her bare body and Charlotte doesn't meet her eyes. Dr.G stands over Tessa, grinning sadistically.

"Charlotte," Dr.G purrs. "did you write that down?" Dr.G asks. Charlotte nods, placing a hand on her stomach briefly before going back to what she was doing. It's that same room that Tessa was in when they first tested her. It was empty for everything but the table she was on, and another table with all kinds of scary looking tools. Needles protruded from her skin, pumping drugs and chemicals into her. "We're almost done Tessa." Dr.G Grins smirking down at her.

Tessa's head pounds and her heartbeat throbs in her ears. Her body aches, especially her arm. It was hard to tell time, as it seemed to go slow one minute and fast the next.

"Done." Dr.G says. Was it just Tessa, or did Dr.G sound disappointed? Clothes were pulled onto her and she was yanked back into the room she shares with the girls. It's been like this ever since her, Will, and Jem went outside. That was a week ago. Maybe two. She hadn't seen them since. Tessa wasn't allowed to tell anyone what she has been going through. But it's not like she'd seen anyone but Charlotte and Dr.G. All the other girl have been on completely different schedules than her. The guys might as well disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Just then, a piercing alarm screeched through the air and red lights flashed. The door immediately added more locks. Tessa pressed her face against the cool metal door, savoring the cold against her feverish skin. She knew what that alarm meant, it meant someone was escaping. Sliding down the door, Tessa sat there and prayed that they would make it out.

Blinking lights and screaming alarms rang through every hallway. Will thought that it all was a bit overkill. He crawled through dusty vents that he barely fit in. For once, he wished that he was cecy's size. She would be able to practically dance through these vents and more importantly - be able to get out faster. He had memorized the map of vents through the structure and he would take them to the garbage room, where he would hop in with the garbage and hopefully get taken outside. Not the smartest plan but he had to get out of here.

They injected drugs into him and each one had a different effect. Sometimes he was in pain and with others, he could barely lift his head. They took blood and made him run through all kinds of mental and physical tasks. Will still felt droopy from the last drug that they injected him with.

He was almost at the last turn when a thought made him freeze. What about Jem? No. No he couldn't leave without Jem. They were closer than brothers. There was another thought too. About a certain brown haired, grey eyed, girl that Will liked. Jem wasn't the only reason that Will was going back. Will turned around not without difficulty and began crawling to get above the hallway where Jem is.

Will made it into the hallway where they tested Jem in, kicking out the metal vent cover. Sliding out, he landed stealthily on the cold ground. Before he could even blink, guards were pouring in from everywhere, guns ready. Two men came towards him, ready to restrain him. Gritting his teeth, Will drove his fist into one guy, knocking him out. To the other, Will kneed him in the crotch. The man let out a groan, sliding to the ground.

"Stop!" A commanding voice called out. Will continued towards the guards, ready to get past them. "Stop or I'll kill them!" she called. Will froze, Cecily's, Tessa's, and Jem's faces flashing in his mind. "That's right. I have the people you care about and you're not going anywhere." Dr.G appeared through the crowd of guards, not a hair out of place. Her grey eyes glinted with malice. Dr.G's eyes were nothing like Tessa's. Tessa's eyes were a blueish and sparkled like diamonds. Thinking of Tessa made Will's heart squeezed. Although he just met her, there was something about her. Something about the way she countered his sarcasm easily and smiled so freely made Will attracted to her. That and various other things. "You will go back to your room and you will not try to escape again. If you do then Tessa and your sister both go blind. We'll burn their eyes with acid and they'll never see again." Dr.G hissed.

"Don't hurt them." Will said, gritting his teeth, jaw clenched. Dr.G laughed. It was a nasally kind of laughed and Will cringed.

"Don't you see? You and everything you care about are in my 've lost. You can't win." She hissed. Wills hand turned into fist and he muttered some rather impolite words before being escorted back to his room.

Sitting, Will was deep in thought. He was going to leave. He was going to get the hell out of here and save all the people he cared about at the same time. Jem, Cecily, Tessa. All of them. He was going to escape. He was going to make it happen, even if it killed him.

Cecily Herondale has been on edge for the past two weeks. She hasn't seen Tessa or Jem or Will. Yet, she had seen all the other boys. She knew something was wrong and she was going to find out exactly what. She pressed her lips against her boyfriends mouth. There was a tiny miniscule part of her that was glad that Will hadn't seen her yet. He was going to flip when he finds out that she's dating a "Lightworm".

Pulling away, she bites her lip. Time to put the plan into action. Surveying the nondescript "Classroom" she watched her peers. There were several desk and a chalk board up front along with a brown desk with papers all over it. That was about it. The walls were grey and so was the floor and the room had that signature metal door.

Now, the people had been everything but mean to Cecily and gave her no reason to think that something bad was going on. But Cecily knew her instincts and what they were telling her, was that something was seriously fucked up here. Smiling innocently, Cecily raised her hand.

" , can I use the restroom?" Cecily, the picture of perfection. Henry turned around, looking dazed. Most likely, he was caught up in some complicated problem. Getting up she walked towards him, bring her yellow notepad. "Before I go, could you explain this problem to me?" She asked. 's eyes lit up and leaned over, solving it on his desk. Cecily's eyes darted over his body, landing on his waist. A ring of keys hung from his belt loops, the metal glinting under the fluorescent lights in the room. Discreetly, she remove them from his belt and slide them into her pocket quietly. "You know what? I think I understand it now. Thanks." Cecily says, grabbing her notebook and walking off slowly, as to not jiggle the keys. She set her notebook down and walked out the door. She had, at most, fifteen minutes before anyone would begin to get suspicious.

Glancing both ways, she did not creep down the hallway. Instead, she acted like to she was suppose to be there. No one questioned her presence in the hallway as she walked with confidence and serenity. When she came across the door that was the surveillance, she glanced both ways before opening the door. Unlocking it, she hurried inside and checked the clock. Ten minutes. She would probably have to leave in five.

She began to search through the videos and it wasn't long before she saw something that caught her eye. It was her brother, in a lab room, struggling against being restrained to a table. She searched so more and found a video of Tessa, lying bare, being injected with drugs. Cecily bit her lip and glanced at the clock. It she wanted to be back before anyone looked for her, she would have to leave now. Even though she wanted to stay, Cecily cleared the search history and left, making her way back to the classroom.

A while later, Cecily was practicing a problem at her desk when lifted his head.

"Has anyone seen my keys?" He asks, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Cecily bit her lip and shook her head no with the others. He shrugs and begins to rustle through drawers. Cecily tried to focus but she couldn't stop thinking of her brother struggling and Tessa getting needles put into her. Cecily had known that something was wrong. That something wasn't quite right. And now she knew exactly what. The people here wanted to hurt them. Although, Cecily didn't know why they have hurt her yet. That didn't matter, the only thing that mattered was that they hurt her brother and they had bad intentions. At the end of class, Cecily stayed late to help "find" his keys. While he searched the desks, Cecily bent down and pretended to reach under the desks. Sliding the keys out of her pocket, she stood up.

" , are these them?" Cecily asked, holding them out to him. took them from her gratefully.

"Yes. Thank you Cecily. You can go back to your room now." Mr. Branwell muttered, scratching his head and going over to the chalkboard. Grabbing her notebook, Cecily slid out the door and went back to the room. She was going to get out with her brother. But first, she needed someone to help her.

Sophie fingered her scar as a bad feeling came over her. It was the same bad feeling she got the night that the scar was forever carved into her face. She hadn't listened to it then, maybe she should listen to it now. But she didn't know what to do. Lately, she had the bad feeling about this whole building and even Gideon couldn't make her feel better.

The bad feeling only got stronger when Cecily approached her.

"Sophie, they're lying to us here." Cecily whispered, sitting next to her. Sophie felt her stomach churn, her nerves on edge.

"What?" Sophie asked.

"They're lying to us. We aren't here to be 'simply observed', they're torturing Will and Tessa. I saw it on security footage." Cecily whispered, her voice low.

"That means -" Sophie started.

"Yeah, it means we could be next." Cecily inspected her nails. "I don't know about you, but we need to get out of here." Cecily turned toward Sophie, indigo eyes shining with bravery. Sophie nodded in agreement.

"What do we have to do?" Sophie asked.

"I don't know where Jem is but we have to find him first before we do anything. Then, we come up with a plan and escape. You in?" Cecily asked, clasping her hands together. Sophie hesitated.

"I'm in."
