Amelia belongs to Jeabird, and I thank her for helping me with this story.

While trying to find food, the gang hooked up with the KaratsukiNumemon. They agreed to help rescue their women from the evil Daemon for some chow. Even Koji and Amelia helped out, but when they told the snails they were Legendary Warriors they were captured themselves to be traded for the women. Turns out that the creep who took the women was one of the Demon Lords. Amelia finally Spirit Evolved to Legnamon, but Daemon was still too much for the gang. He defeated our heroes and ate the Fractal Code from the KaratsukiNumemon's mountain. The gang got split up and it looks like the Forest Terminal will have to wait until they find each other. Can't these guys get anything right?

Takuya, Meredith, Koji, Amelia, Tommy and DemiVeemon were falling down a tunnel. They were all screaming as they fell.

"Man, is this ever gonna end?!" Not even seconds after Takuya's words they were out of the tunnel and spewed out into open air.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you to be careful what you wish for?!" Amelia yelled the words as they started to fall.

They were falling straight down and they'd end up landing on their heads. Luckily though they didn't hit the ground. They landed in a pool of giant balls. They were bounced up and down by the balls that they landed on.

"This looks like more fun than it is." Tommy sounded unhappy.

"You're not kidding." Koji was annoyed but there was one person who enjoyed it, DemiVeemon.

Takuya struggled to get out and had to move one of the giant balls just to get up from underneath of the top layer.

"Whoa is this a big playground? And if it is, what needs a playground this big?" Takuya stared at what surrounded them, surprised.

"We're gonna find out, aren't we?" Tommy sounded both tired and uneasy.

"Of course." Takuya sighed and the group made their way out.

While they started on their way out DemiVeemon didn't. the baby Digimon was bouncing from one ball to the next, laughing and having fun.

"Come on DemiVeemon." DemiVeemon stopped and looked at Meredith.

"But mama, I wanna stay and play more." Meredith shook her head.

"Come on." DemiVeemon frowned but made his way to the goggle girl; they all climbed out after that.

"Keep your eyes peeled for Zoe and the guys." They were walking and Takuya looked around.

"Something tells me they're not going to be easy to find in this place." Koji looked around despite his unbelieving tone.

"Yeah, they're probably lost like we are." Meredith looked around.

"That's if we ended up in the same place." Amelia glanced around but she fiddled with her headphones that she wore around her neck, she really was tempted to find out if they would still work or not.

There was a buzzing suddenly and the group started to look for the source of the buzzing now. They finally saw the source, a small flying robot.

"Hey, maybe that flying guy has seen them." Takuya watched as the robot continued to fly.

"A flying toy robot! Neat!" Tommy took off running after the flying robot.

"Wait!" Takuya took off after Tommy.

"Hey, robot!" Tommy called out to the robot but the robot didn't stop.

"Guys!" Meredith called after them before taking off after them.

'I don't know which of them is worse.' Koji sighed at his thought for running after them, Amelia also following them.

The robot landed by a small toy car track along with some other toys.

"Check it out! This is awesome!" Tommy knelt beside the race track, staring at it in awe.

"Hey, where'd he go?" Takuya looked around for the 'flying guy'.

"Don't sit down! We don't have time for this!" Koji scolded Tommy but all the little boy did was put a car on the track, laughing as it went around the track.

"What a baby." Koji shook his head as he spoke.

"I am not! These are just cool toys!" Tommy was quick to look at Koji and defend himself.

"Yeah, they are cool, but this probably isn't the best time to be playing." Takuya even took Koji's first standpoint of not having time.

"Aww, come on! When else can we play with all these neat toys?" Tommy sounded disappointed and Takuya's slightly strict expression loosened some and looked down.

"Is this the flying robot?" Takuya picked up the robot in question.

"Hey, maybe the cars can play too." Tommy continued to watch the car as he spoke while Meredith cuddled a teddy bear.

Takuya pressed and button and the robot's arm came flying off. "Hey! That is cool, super robot punch!"

"Not you too!" Koji looked at Takuya as he scolded him.

"Hey, this reminds me of something I lost years ago in one of the moves. It even has the same stitching." Amelia muttered and bent down, picking up a cat plushy backpack and rubbing her thumb over some stitching that held a small tear in the side closed to the point it didn't even leak stuffing.

"Uh, well... I-I guess not. Put down that stupid toy!" Takuya snapped, wanting to get attention off of himself.

'These guys are worst then my parents.' Tommy sighed and eyed both Takuya and Koji as they started to walk through the playground.

"I wonder what happened to Zoe and JP." Takuya couldn't help but wonder that aloud.

"I hope they're alright." Meredith tried to think about what they'd be doing here.

Amelia stopped though and looked at the stone they were passing. She smiled seeing the dinosaur stone carving, shaking her head before catching up with the group even though she only fell behind a couple of steps.

"I think our only choice is to head for the Forest Terminal." While they didn't stop walking, Takuya looked back to Koji after he spoke.

"Yeah, I bet we can meet up with them there, you think?" Takuya sounded pretty hopeful.

"I wonder if there's a Trailmon?" Meredith glanced around, not exactly having spoken to loudly.

"I don't think there is." Meredith looked at Amelia.

"Why do you say that?" Amelia shrugged at Meredith's question.

"It's a feeling that I have. Amelia looked away after talking, going back to looking around their surroundings.

"Guys, check it out!" Everyone stopped to look at Tommy, he was holding a green balloon and a stuffed pig which once he pokes the ear of the pig it starts to oink.

"Hey, look, we decided this isn't the time to play around, right?" Takuya had his hands on his hips, scolding Tommy.

"Who decided?" Tommy let go of the balloon and he hung us head.

"Calm down. Don't start crying." Tommy got angry when Takuya said that, turning away from them.

"Oh man. I feel bad." Takuya went from angry to between upset and bothered.

"Why, because of him? Little baby has to grow up sometime." Koji words received him a slap on the back of his from Meredith.

"You two are being a little too harsh!" The redhead glared at them while Koji stared her.

"I'm with Meredith, don't be so mean. I mean he's only a little kid for Pete's sake." Takuya looked at Koji as he spoke.

"Whatever." Koji started to walk away from at that.

"No, you can't just say whatever so listen up! I know you're not use to having friends, but you're a part of a team now, so you better show some support." Takuya practically yelled at Koji.

"Great idea. Let's support the useless kid right up into the point where we all die because of his stupidity." Koji stopped and his sarcastic remark got him glares from Takuya and Meredith, Amelia was just silently watching.

"No wonder no one likes you." Takuya's words must've hit something, because that had Koji turning around to face them.

"What do you know?!" Koji glared at Takuya.

"Enough that you won't let anyone come a foot near you." Meredith cut in.

"You're wrong about that you two." Takuya and Meredith looked at Amelia.

Amelia walked over to Koji, making a show of the fact that she got pretty close to Koji. He didn't say anything to her, yes was looking at her, but not saying anything. She looked at them over her shoulder.

"Koji's just socially awkward in a way." Amelia's words didn't seem to surprise them but it might've been the fact that Koji didn't actually say anything to her for calling him socially awkward.

"Come on you guys, if you keep fighting, we'll never get to the Forest Terminal." Tommy cut in, hoping to stop the fight that might end up breaking out if this continued.

"Sorry, Tommy." Meredith looked at the kid.

After Tommy spoke there was a bell in the distance and by the time everyone turned around a train was heading their way. It might've been a miniature train, but it was big enough for them to sit on.

"Hey, it's a train!" The group ended up getting on the train.

Tommy was sitting on the engine of the train, Meredith and Takuya were sitting on one of the cargo carriages while Amelia and Koji was on the other, yet Koji had his back to them.

"Yeah, some train." Koji was sarcastic with his remark.

"Some 'toy' train." Takuya said it to harass Koji.

"To think, you were acting mature a little while ago." Meredith shot it at Koji while DemiVeemon was giggling up a storm as he rode the train.

"Oh, yeah, very funny. Just drop it, okay? It's bad enough I have to ride on this stupid thing." Koji was annoyed.

"Koji's playing with toys!" They all changed it besides Koji and Amelia, Amelia though was chewing on her lip and seemed a million miles away.

Koji growled at the words while after moving past a pillar a bear could be seen walking. Tommy, Takuya and Meredith stared at the bear while Koji was busy glaring at the train car he was sitting on.

"Wow, that's wild, Takuya! It's a giant walking teddy bear!" Tommy grinned as he watched the bear.

"I just want to hug him!" Meredith also grinned, she liked stuffed animals after.

"Hey, maybe he knows how to get to Forest Terminal." Takuya was the first to jump off.

Meredith and Tommy jumped off next. As Koji was going to jump up he noticed that Amelia wasn't focused, she hadn't even heard a word of what was going on. He grabbed her arm which snapped her of it but he jumped off, pulling her with him.

"Hey, buddy! Teddy! Wait up! Hey!" The yellow bear turned to them and stared.

He stared for a couple of seconds before starting to dash over to them. They stopped running out of confusion. The bear grabbed Takuya and threw him to the ground before raising his arm.

"I am still undefeated!" The bear cheered before he bent over and picked Takuya up and set him back on his feet.

"Now we wrestle for the championship of the world." Everyone but Tommy was surprised and put off hearing that.

"Yeah! Then I'm next!" Tommy threw his arms up and to the side as he spoke.

"Are you crazy?! It'll crush us!" Takuya yelled as he grabbed Tommy's hand and started to drag him away.

They were all running away from the bear, and the bear continued to chase after them. When the bear mentioned tag, they started to run faster if that possible and the moment they saw one of those swinging Viking Ships that practically dove into it. They panted as they tried to catch their breath and the bear ran right past them, not even noticing them. Once he was past them they peeked over the side.

"That bear's dangerous." Koji stared after the bear as he spoke.

"And you didn't even get thrown down by him." Takuya added it in, also staring after the bear.

"Well, I don't know. He seemed kinda fun to me." Takuya looked at Tommy when he said that.

"Fun? Are you nuts?" Takuya was stunned.

"Well he didn't seem so bad." Takuya turned to look at Meredith when she said that.

"You're kidding me, right?" Meredith shook her head.

The group got another fun surprise a few seconds later. The ship starts to move and everyone fell to the floor. It swung back the other way and they slid that way across the floor. They ended up grabbing onto something to keep themselves from sliding all over the place.

"Whose idea was it to hide on this crazy thing?!" Koji yelled it.

"You wanna wrestle a bear instead?!" Takuya yelled back at Koji.

"This is just like a ride in an amusement park!" Meredith lost her grip as she said it but Takuya managed to grab, wrapping an arm around her and holding her close.

"Just get us off of here!" Koji sounded kind of sick when he said it, but Takuya saw the great view they were given thanks to the ship.

"Hey, we're floating!" Takuya said it as he stared ahead of them.

"Not anymore!" Tommy yelled it as they swung again.

"We're done." Takuya's words were prove wrong thanks to another swing.

"No, we're not!" Meredith held a bit tighter to Takuya as she spoke.

"I thought we were!" Takuya sounded slightly apologetic.

"This is fun!" They looked at Amelia who was grinning away.

"Is anyone else feeling kinda sick?!" Anything they would've said was cut off when Tommy called that out, they all knew what that meant.

"Get us off of here before he loses it!" Koji sounded the slightly bit desperate.

"Sure, I'll just snap my fingers!" Takuya's sarcastic remark didn't get any reply.

"Uh-oh." Tommy's words were nearly panic inducing.

"Don't look in my direction, kid!" Koji was quick to say it.

"Don't point him at me!" Takuya wasn't happy at the thought.

"Don't you do it on me!" Meredith chimed in, but the ride stopped thankfully.

"I think he's gonna be ok." Koji stated the words once the ride stopped completely but once Tommy belched, it changed slightly.

"Oh, get him off, get him off!" Koji said urgent when he said that and Takuya helped Tommy off.

Everyone got off of the rid. Tommy wasn't the only one who was shaken up, he was accompanied in that boat by Takuya, Koji, and Meredith. Amelia was smiling though and she didn't exactly seem shaken one bit.

"You gonna be ok, kid?" Takuya asked Tommy, worried.

"Uh-huh." Tommy's voice was low.

"That was fun." Amelia received looks from everyone.

"Are you serious?" Koji said it, staring at her and she nodded.

"Yep, I used to go on a lot of rides like that at carnivals when I was younger." Her arms were behind back, a few fond memories popped into her head.

"Again, again!" DemiVeemon was cheering, wanting to go again.

"No, we are not going around again." DemiVeemon pouted before looking at Amelia since she seemed to enjoy it as well.

"Come on, you want a piggyback ride?" Takuya kneeled at Tommy, asking him.

"Gimmie a break. Make the kid walk." Koji's toned conveyed that he was fed up with how Takuya was acting.

"Look, it's no big deal. He's not feeling well, so I'll help him out, ok?" Takuya was also getting fed up with Koji's attitude.

"Oh, yeah? And what will happen if you're attacked while you're carrying him? You'll be too slow to run away, that's for sure!" Koji's words made Takuya gulp, begrudgingly seeing his point.

"Hey! We're a team right, if he got attacked we would help." Amelia tried to butt in, but it was like her words fell on deaf ears.

"You're about the worst leader I've ever seen, you never think ahead!" Koji's words hit Takuya and sent him into a defensive place.

"Well at least I think about someone besides myself, Mr. Definition of the word Selfish!" Takuya's voice was rising as he spoke.

"Guys..." Meredith was at a loss of what to say besides that.

"I can walk." Tommy sounded so down as he started to walk.

"Hey, Tommy, you sure?" Takuya was worried and Tommy looked back to the gogglehead.

"Yeah, I mean I really don't have a choice." Tommy words were still sad.

"I got an idea, let's see if anyone lives in that house. Maybe they can help us." As Takuya spoke he pointed towards a house that looked like strawberry shortcake.

They walked into the house, only to find it filled with shelves. The shelves had a ton of candy, yet there were some stands off to the side. There was a stand with cakes and something that floated in some kind of liquid, some differently flavored bread and then finally an ice cream stand. There was even a cart that had cotton candy.

"Now I know what it's like to be a kid in a candy store!" Takuya looked around as he spoke.

"We're still kids." Meredith said that and looked at Takuya.

"And it's the best thing ever!" As Tommy spoke he drew close to the cotton candy stand.

"I guess we can take a little time to have a snack, right?" Takuya watched Tommy as he ate some cotton candy as he spoke.

"Here, have some!" Tommy handed some cotton candy to Takuya, Meredith, Amelia and even Koji.

Takuya took large bites out of his cotton candy while Meredith took some off of hers and shared it with DemiVeemon. Amelia eyed the cotton candy before sighing and shaking her head.

"We do not have time to sit around stuffing our faces with candy! We have to find a way to get to the Forest Terminal. We're not out having fun at carnival or something." Koji was annoyed, though he's been annoyed this whole time.

"Shut up, Koji." Meredith said it through chewing.

"Do you understand?" Takuya didn't pause in stuffing his face as Koji spoke.

"Are you listening to me? Man, you're infuriating!" Koji glared at Takuya and the gogglehead paused this time.

"What are we supposed to do? We're floating on an island!" Takuya was starting to sound angry now.

"There's another example of why you'll never be a good leader. You just give up. It's like you don't even want to help your friends at all. I mean, take a look at what you're doing right now." Koji's words made a look of concern cross Tommy's face.

"I don't see you coming up with any ideas." Takuya gave the only retort he could think of.

"At least I'm not just eating. What about the other Legendary Warriors?" Koji's words confused Takuya but Amelia looked at the ground.

"Let's not forgot about the Demon Lords either." Koji eyed Takuya, waiting for what he would say.

"It wasn't just me who thought about it then." Amelia muttered it, no one heard her more than likely though.

"What are you talking about?" Takuya actually did sound a bit clueless.

"There are three more Legendary Warriors, what if they turn out to be our enemies? We don't even know much about the Demon Lords and even all of us couldn't take on Daemon."

"But-" Takuya stumbled and that was Koji's point to continue.

"If they are and Daemon has more allies, we need to think of a plan. We need to think of the worst case scenario. Not just play games and eat sweets. Or we might not make it out of this world alive." Koji's words were heavy and Tommy started to look depressed.

"Can we not talk about this now?" Takuya glanced at Tommy as he spoke.

"You mean not in front of Tommy? I don't care if he's young, he needs to learn to face the truth." Koji's words were the harsh, yet he also was looking at the Tommy.

"I'm sorry you hate me so much…" Tommy head was hung and as he spoke his arm just dropped so it hung at his side.

"I don't hate you… it's just…" Koji stopped, not able to find the words to say.

"Understatement of the year." Koji's attention snapped to Meredith the moment she said that.

"What do you mean by that, huh?" Meredith didn't flinch at Koji's words.

"You're harsh-"

"Enough! Seriously, you people are starting to annoy me! Didn't Takuya say we were a team earlier? A team works together and maybe Koji doesn't say things the best of ways, but he has a point. We need to work together instead of having you and Takuya gang up on him when he tries to actually say something that applies to all of us." Amelia walked towards them instead of standing close to the door.

"Here's another thing, Tommy is a kid, yes, but this affects him as well. Koji doesn't sugar coat things, which we all know by now, but tell me you can't see what he's talking about." Amelia watched them, waiting for someone to say something.

Not knowing what to do Takuya just focuses on Tommy. He puts his hand on Tommy's head to try and comfort him.

"Hmmmm… I'm sorry…" Tommy muttered the words.

They walked out of the house tense. The air around them was tense and no one spoke. The silence was uncomfortable as well.

"Does anybody want to talk?" Tommy hesitated but he spoke, breaking the silence.

"Movies? Books? School?" Meredith tried to think of what to talk about.

"How about we talk about getting to Forest Terminal and what we're gonna do about possibly the last three warriors and the Demon Lords?" Koji spoke, putting forth the topic he wanted to discuss.

"That's not such a good-" Meredith didn't get to finish because Takuya scoffed, cutting her off.

"You're unbelievable. I told you, I didn't want to talk about it in front of Tommy!" Things were getting tenser as Takuya spoke.

"Why don't we-"

"And I told you that you can't treat him differently than the rest of us." Koji shot back at Takuya, cutting Meredith off.

"Don't fi-"

"Yeah, but you can respect that he's just a kid." Takuya cut Meredith off once again, retorting to Koji.

"Guys pl-"

"So are you!" Koji nearly yelled at Takuya, he had also cut Meredith off again.

"Alright-" Takuya turned to face Koji.

"Oh yeah-" Koji faced at Takuya.

"Will you both just shut up and calm down?!" As Meredith yelled, Amelia looked to Tommy who had fallen behind but her eyes widened.

"Uh, guys, help!" Tommy shouted but at first the only one to look was Amelia.

"Tommy!" Amelia's shout got Koji and Takuya out of their glaring contest and Meredith to stop focusing on being their mediator.

A bear that was grey and covered in stitches had Tommy under one of his arms. He had a red cape and one claw.

"It's that bear, again!" Takuya stared at the bear as he ran while Amelia took off running after it.

"No, it's different now. It looks all funky." Koji stared as well.

"Why are you two just standing there?" Meredith yelled as she too took off running.

They were quickly all running after him.

"Hey you big fuzzy creep, give our friend back!" Takuya yelled the words, which actually caused the bear to stop and turn around.

"Heartbreak Attack!" The black heart that flew at Takuya hit him in the chest and brought him to his knees, everyone stopped and was staring at him.

"What's the point? We're never gonna catch him." Takuya sounded defeated and depressed.

"Say what?" Meredith was stunned and her widened when Takuya started to cry.

"Why are you crying? What happened?" Koji was stunned, took a step back as he spoke.

"I just feel really sad!" Takuya started to wipe at his eyes.

"Heartbreak Attack!" Koji tried to run but he got hit the black heart, falling to his hands and knees.

"What just hit me guys? I'm so sad. I feel like everything's so hopeless you know?" Koji sounded like he was on the verge of crying.

Meredith and Amelia hid from the bear, not wanting to get hit by the attack. Amelia glared at the bear and slipped her D-Tector from her pocket, wanting to pounce on the bear, but he turned and started to run away. Yet as the bear ran away Takuya and Koji were apologizing for yelling at each other.

"Amelia." Meredith called her name but Amelia was still focused on the bear, her grip tight on her D-Tector.

After knowing that Amelia wasn't moving an inch Meredith ran over to the boys. They were still a mess from the attack and the goggle girl did only what she thought of. She hit them both on their heads.

"Come on! Pull yourselves together!" Meredith called out to them.

"Ow, my head hurts now." Takuya rubbed his head where Meredith had hit him and the girl gasps.

"Sorry guys. I didn't mean to hit you. I just wanted to help somehow." Meredith watched them.

"That attack is so not fair! And now Tommy is gone! What do we do?" Takuya stood up, staring at where the bear had disappeared.

Takuya, Koji, and Meredith were walking. They were looking around trying to find where the black bear had gone.

"Why do evil things always run faster than normal things?" Takuya sounded frustrated.

"I don't know." Meredith stopped when she noticed something.

"I don't see it anywhere." Koji spoke sounded annoyed.

"I think we have another problem guys." Meredith spun in a circle, looking in every direction.

"What now?" Koji looked at Meredith, bothered that another problem had sprung up.

"Where's Amelia?" Meredith's words made Koji's eyes widened the slightest bit and Takuya froze.

"She was just with us?" Takuya had hesitated.

"Something was wrong with her though, when she saw that bear take off with Tommy, she seemed so focused on him." Meredith was worried, first Tommy got taken and now Amelia was missing.

"Maybe she went after that bear on her own?" Koji looked around once again.

"This is our fault, 'cause we were fighting." Takuya sounded guilty, taking the blame.

"You're right." Meredith hated to admit it, but it was their fault.

"This really reminds me of the time I lost my little brother at the amusement park. I've never been so worried in my life until now." Takuya's hands curled into fists as he spoke.

"I remember that." Meredith's voice was soft and she hugged DemiVeemon closer to her chest.

"I know. Little kids are always getting in the way." Koji spoke but he was still scanning the area with his eyes.

"That's not what I meant! Man! You must be the most selfish kid in the world! Two worlds! We have a responsibility to take care of Tommy because he's younger than us! Don't you take care of your own brothers and sisters?" Takuya was angry at Koji, and Koji stopped looking around, instead looked at the gogglehead.

"I don't have any, happy now?" Koji's tone was low.

"Oh…" Takuya and Meredith were surprised.

"See, I don't know anything about having brothers." Koji sounded almost sad as he spoke.

"Well, why don't you just imagine that Tommy's your little brother? And think what it would be like for a little kid to be alone and afraid. And imagine you could keep him from feeling that way." Takuya words seemed like it was getting through to Koji but the ponytail boy just started to run off somewhere.

"Hey, wait up!" Takuya called after Koji.

Takuya and Meredith ran after Koji. They kept running until they saw the flying robot from earlier on.

"There's a friendly face. Hey, flying robot, we're looking for a little kid and a big bear, have you seen them?" The robot nodded at Takuya's question and he looked over.

"Have you seen a scarlet haired girl?" The robot nodded again and to answer Koji's question he pointed the same way; the robot took off and Koji looked over.

"In that creepy castle?" Koji stared at the castle that he just called creepy.

"How can it be creepy, it's lavender!" Takuya said it like that should just knoll and void that fact.

"Never underestimate your enemy." Koji warned Takuya, it was a good piece of advice.

"It's just so lavender." Again Takuya repeated that.

"Alright, we get it already." Meredith said it, hoping to stop what might just be a loop between the two of them.

"Hey, Tommy!" Takuya called it up to a tower that they could see Tommy in, they stood at the draw bridge.

"Down here!" Koji shouted up to Tommy as well.

"Little dude!" Even Meredith's voice didn't reach.

"He can't hear us, we'll have to go in." As Koji spoke Takuya turned the robot.

"Thanks!" Takuya waved at the robot and it left.

"You just can't stop playing with toys, can you?" When Koji said that they started to cross the bridge.

"Nothing's gonna stop us now!" Takuya's words were proven wrong when they stopped due to two black Lego-like dinosaurs in their way.

"Except that." A couple seconds after Takuya's words the bridge started to move underneath of them.

The bridge folded with them on it and they fell down into the moat. Before they hit the water though Meredith managed to pull on her goggles. Takuya and Koji started to sink, but a panda teddy bear swam down and grabbed them while Meredith managed to swim on her own, with DemiVeemon grabbing hold, following the panda bear that lead them to an underground cave.

"Once again, I, Pandamon have foiled my fiendish foes, the sinister ShadowToyAgumon " While Takuya and Koji panted, Pandamon was hugged by Meredith, but it appeared that the panda Digimon didn't seem to mind being hugged by her. The boys were still trying to catch their breath.

"Yeah, great, thanks. So you saved us just so you could bring us down here and hurt us, yourself." Takuya shot a look at Koji when he said that.

"Buddy, why are you so paranoid?" Takuya asked the question that was begged to be asked.

"It's what he's good at." Meredith spoke and Takuya just looked to Pandamon.

"Don't pay any attention to him. Thanks for helping us. Pandamon?" Takuya smiled at Pandamon.

"Pandamon the protector. Welcome weary warriors to my secret lair, the Panda Cave."

"Ok." Takuya sounded like he wasn't sure how serious Pandamon was.

"I've hidden here since that black-hearted ShadowToyAgumon started hating that chump, Cherubimon." Pandamon crossed his arms as he spoke.

"Cherubimon..." Takuya repeated the name.

"Him again?" Meredith spoke as she thought how once again, things lead back to Cherubimon.

"Because of Cherubimon's diabolical dogma, those misguided troublemakers plan to go to the real world, and inflict their revenge on the children who stopped playing with them. The rest of us toys just want to play with kids." Pandamon sounded a tad bit sad.

"That's so sad." Meredith nodded at Takuya's words.

Takuya, Meredith and Koji stood up. Seeing as they were up to moving about Pandamon began to lead them down the tunnel.

"Most of the wicked ShadowToyAgumon are busy with their painful business of keeping the city afloat. With any luck, you three high power humans won't wander into the callous creatures on your way through the castle." Pandamon sounded a bit hopeful.

"Yeah? And just when are we supposed to get to this castle again, Pandamon?" As Koji spoke, his tone kind of clipped they ended up at the bottom of a stairwell.

"Koji..." Takuya said his name in a slight of a scolding tone.

"This staircase will steer you straight inside." Pandamon pointed up the stairs as he spoke.

"Thanks, Pandamon." Takuya looked up the stairs as he spoke.

"Don't thank me. Just stop the ShadowToyAgumon." Pandamon sounded serious as he said that.

The group of three headed up the stairs and once they opened the door, they stare at the castle that loomed above them.

"Lavender castle, here we come." Not even seconds later the ShadowToyAgumon appear and block their way.

"Are they just gonna stand there?" The ShadowToyAgumon just stared so Takuya wonded that aloud.

"Plastic Blaze!" The ShadowToyAgumon spat a plastic black fire ball at them and they hit the deck to dodge the attack.

"I guess not!" Takuya looked back to the ShadowToyAgumon when he spoke.

"We have to Spirit Evolve to get past them!" Meredith put down DemiVeemon, and pulled out her D-Tector as she spoke. Koji pulled his out a couple seconds later.

"Execute! Spirit Evolution!" All three of them called out the words.

"Agunimon!"

"Lobomon!"

"Sakanamon!"

Agunimon was quick to summon up flames from his gauntlets and the fire spun as it wrapped around his arms. He was all fired up and ready to fight.

"No one's getting revenge on any kids! Pyro Tornado!" Agunimon's attack hit them and from the impact it knocked them all over.

"Well, that was easy." Agunimon spoke to soon, because a lot more showed up not even a whole second before he finished saying it.

"Maybe not." Agunimon got into a stance, ready to fight.

"Look, they're forming something!" Sakanamon pointed it out and it turned out that they were making a tank.

"Cute, but what can a toy tank do?" Agunimon stared, not feeling very intimidated until it shot at him; he jumped to dodge it what Sakanamon flipped away from the attack.

"Ya had to ask!" She spoke the words after Agunimon landed.

"I got it," Lobomon said that and he drew out his swords and jumped up, "Lobo Kendo!"

Lobomon hit the tank after dodging a shot from the tank and the hit caused it to explode. The tank reverted back to individual ShadowToyAgumon.

"Show off. I could've done that." When Agunimon said that Lobomon turned to look at him.

"Yeah, but you didn't." Lobomon's retort stopped him from seeing that the ShadowToyAgumon were forming something else.

"I have done a better job." Agunimon retorted in favor of instead noticing the growing figure that the evil toys were creating.

"If you two are finished with your spat, those things are forming something else now!" When Sakanamon spoke Agunimon and Lobomon looked to find that the ShadowToyAgumon had joined together to make a huge robot.

"Sure you don't need a little help there, buddy?" Agunimon taunted Lobomon due to the fact that Lobomon was closer, and that the robot punched the Warrior of Light who actually did manage to move out of the way of the attack.

"Why don't you take me on?!" Agunimon runs up at the robot but a second robot was quickly crafted and stood in his way.

"Ah man, you sure look a lot bigger close up!" Agunimon stared up at the robot before jumping to get out of the way of a kick from the robot.

"Hey! Leave my friends alone!" Sakanamon yelled and was going to jump in but a third robot appeared in front of her.

"Oh, boy!" Sakanamon stared up at the robot.

The robots kept punching and kicking at the three which resulted in a bunch of dodging but no hits. If the fight continued like this they three of them would wear out soon enough.

"I've been thinking! Maybe Amelia's right! We need to work together, especially if we want to beat these things!" Sakanamon declared that as she jumped up to dodge a leg swept from the massive robot.

"So how can we beat them?!" Agunimon landed from him dodging a kick as he spoke.

"Follow my lead!" Lobomon spoke.

Lobomon ran towards Agunimon and Sakanamon, they followed his lead and ran towards him. The three robots were facing each other now. They jumped up and the robots cocked their arms back so they could punch the three warriors. Yet the three warriors kicked off of each other and the robots' punch missed them and they instead hit each other.

"Hey, it worked!" Agunimon was happy as he spoke, watching them fall and then Fractal Code appeared around them.

"I hate when toys go bad! Fractal Code, Digitize!" Agunimon scanned the Fractal Code from the robot that he had fought.

"Time to be purified by the light! Fractal Code, Digitize!" Lobomon scanned the Fractal Code from the robot closest to him.

"Let the rain purify you! Fractal Code, Digitize!" Sakanamon scanned the Fractal Code from the remaining robot.

It appeared that scanning the Fractal Code took away the shadows that clouded the ShadowToyAgumon because once scanned, the toy dinosaurs became colorful.

"Hurry, we got to get Tommy before it's too late!" Koji was headed towards the door in as he spoke.

"Who knows what awful things that bear in doing to him!" Takuya was hot on Koji's heels as he spoke.

The three of them were running up the stairs as quick as they could.

"Hang on, Tommy!" They were halfway up when Takuya shouted the words, since they could hear sounds.

"They're fighting!" Takuya was worried now.

They look at each other and nodded. They threw open the door and to their surprise, Tommy and Monzaemon were playing a video game, laughing.

"I win! Champion of the world!" Tommy was cheering.

"Tommy, what are you doing?" Koji was surprised.

"What's it look like I'm doing?" Tommy looked at them as he responded to Koji.

"But we thought you were in trouble." Takuya sounded almost relieved, but he was still worried.

"Amelia helped me." Tommy saying that and nodding towards her caused attention to turn to the scarlet haired girl who sat in the corner.

Amelia sat in the corner, staring almost blankly at where Tommy had been sitting. Once again she seemed far away, but once she sensed eyes on her, she blinked and turned her head.

"I know. I feel just awful about that guys. But this little trooper saw through to the real me and played with me anyway." Monzaemon patted Tommy's head as he spoke.

"He's a good boy." Monzaemon was more rubbing Tommy's head now.

"I knew that bear wasn't so bad." Meredith smiled as she spoke but did glance at Amelia; DemiVeemon also jumped out of her arms to play with some toys that were in the room.

"So can we keep him?!" Tommy smiled at them as he asked question but Takuya and Koji moaned.

The group, once again all together, walked out of the castle while Monzaemon followed along behind them, well most of the group. Amelia lagged behind the group, staring at them as they walked.

"But why can't we keep him?" Tommy was upset at the thought of being unable to keep Monzaemon around.

"Ah, fantastic friends. To make-up for their monstrous mistakes, the ToyAgumon insist they take you off the island." Pandamon stood in the middle of the walkway with the colorful ToyAgumon behind him, they all looked guilty as well.

Hearing that they cheered. The ToyAgumon moved and revealed a plane and they group piled in.

"Hey Tommy, why come you weren't scared?" Takuya only asked the question once they were flying, away from most of the ToyAgumon along with Monzaemon and Pandamon.

"Well, I'm really not afraid of airplanes." Tommy said it as he looked around.

"I meant when you were captured by that evil teddy bear." Takuya was smiling as he asked it.

"He really wasn't evil." Meredith interjected, standing up for Monzaemon.

"Well, to be honest, at first I was so scared of him that I almost wet my pants. But then I figured that the big guy only wanted to play video games with me. Plus if anything had gone wrong Amelia was there." Tommy smiled while Takuya and Meredith laughed.

"Probably, only a kid could figure that out." Koji was smiling a bit as he said it so they knew that it was meant in a good natured way.

"You're right. And you thought kids weren't good for anything." Takuya shout it back at Koji.

"Guys, if you look down, you can see the forest." When the ToyAgumon said it Tommy, Takuya, and Meredith looked and started to marvel over the sight while Koji looked at Amelia.

"Why did you go after them by yourself, Amelia?" Koji asked the question out of curiosity and Amelia closed her eyes, leaning her head back.

"It's a story, that's best left untold, Koji." That pulled the other's attention.

"We're a team so you can tell us." Takuya gave the nudge and Amelia sighed before opening her eyes and looking at them.

"Simplest way to say it, without going into details, my younger sister was kidnapped once. Back then, I couldn't do anything, but this time I knew I could. I refused to stand back and watch it happen again." No one knew how to respond to Amelia's words.

"And as special thanks, how about a little excitement?" The ToyAgumon cut in, hoping to change the subject and bring back the previous joy the group had.

The ToyAgumon made the plane go up and when they were upside they were all a little uneasy.

"Whoa, maybe I am afraid of ai-airplanes!" Tommy's voice shook.

After a while of just flying along the air currents, they were given the instruction that they could disembark. They all seemed a bit hesitant but they did disembark, their hesitance came from the fact that they jumped out of the plane and was now parachuting down to the ground.

"What is that?" Koji looked at the thing that was fast approaching where they would land.

"It looks like a boat!" Tommy sounded a bit excited, despite all the excitement they've already had.

"It's Zoe, and the others!" Takuya said it.

"Good timing!" Tommy grinned as he nearly cheered the words out.

"Hey, dudes!" Meredith called down to them.

With some luck Takuya, Meredith, Koji, Amelia, and Tommy all managed to land in the boat that Zoe and J.P. were in.

After going through some trials, Koji and Takuya managed to start getting along. With the team being more of team, everyone managed to meet back up. Everyone is all together again, but what awaits them next? Find out on the next Digimon: Digital Monsters!
