Chapter 7

There was wind and water in air one that tried to smother with the lack of while the other tried to drown everything with its abundance. Lesser men would be staying indoors within the confines of their hearth while the reckless would brave it for a reason they found good enough.
The sea was is and always would be unrelenting ever changing making it unpredictable. That was how it was meant to be and that was how it will be.
The sea was home to some yet could be cause of death it could shelter whom or whatsoever it wished or destroy anything came in its domain. It could make a broken plank reach shores unknown at the same time it could bring the biggest of ships to its depths.
No one could ever imagine its extent or its limit for it was unlimited uninhibited untamable unreachable and unknown.
In the middle of the sea was a snake. At this point you might think what's so great about it snakes lived almost everywhere on the planet if one was in the sea it wasn't much different even if it wasn't a sea snake or other variety which lived in water.

There was a difference though it was a sea snake a bit unique as it had translucent dark sea green scales which made it invisible unless it accidentally bumped into you or it wanted to be seen. Even then many might think that what difference could spotting a small snake in the middle of the sea would be great even if you wanted to eat it a fish or a crab or anything else except a jelly fish would be a better substitute.
But this snake was big way bigger than any other its body was wide enough that a lifeboat could be placed on it and it wouldn't fall off and the length was as much as a passenger plane at an airport.
If anybody even glimpsed at such a snake they would die of cardiac arrest just by looking at it and the same snake was swimming in the sea without a most of its body submerged underneath while only its head remained above water and having a child and boy in his late teens on its hood.

Harry POV

'My teeth were chattering and using any katon jutsu was tantamount to suicide even Sensei had a grimace on his face yet he sat on this wretched slippery snake and using Chakra to stay on it without falling off while my own control was good sensei's was beyond extraordinary but the horrible weather was making my control falter but I didn't my magic was helping me be stuck or else I would have been washed away by the very first wave that washed over us.'

'Sensei's philosophy regarding both was that Chakra happens consciously and magic happens unconsciously a result of my mental state as such that you could never anticipate or expect the results.
E.g a kunai when thrown at a person is done with the full intention to injure maim or kill, you know what will happen how it will happen and when it will happen but with magic you want to hit/hurt someone your magic will hurt him hit or even kill him/her but you can't tell how it would happen. If you got mad at someone and want to throw something then something will fly towards it but it might be a rubber duck, a shoe , a spade , a knife , an animal or even a piano or want to burn something for cooking and end up setting the whole house on fire it was difficult to learn something without a proper instructor '

'So he had used it for basic things like reinforcing or making jutsu's stronger like Great fireball Jutsu his version it was a lot hotter and longer but having less control and ended up bursting out at the end instead of becoming a ball.'
Suddenly sensei stood up and I raised my head his red eyes spotting something in the water and we came closer I could see it as well it was a rock a huge one right in the middle of the sea water its visible part barely 5 feet above water and as we came closer I noticed that the damn snake wasn't even slowing down.
The whole image of us on the snake was similar to that of a teenager and kid sitting on a surfboard except that there was no surfboard and we were both under layers of clothing me three and he two and we were sitting on cross legged.

Sensei turned to me and said " Take a deep breath we are going underwater and use Chakra to stick to it underwater it is much more difficult to stick to anything"
As sensei said that I saw the snake dart its tongue outwards as if taking a last breath of air its whole body went down and we went with it.

-A few minutes later-

I suddenly felt my body coming out of water and I almost wanted to take a deep breath of fresh air right then and there but I didn't. I opened my one eye and then another waited for a few seconds before taking a small sniff and then I proceeded to take large breaths and I looked at Sensei who didn't look any different not even his clothes were wet while I was a dripping quickly using an internal katon jutsu I warmed up myself until the chill and cold was no longer holding me.

It was a damp cave and would be no different from any other found on the surface if not for the fact that there were hundreds of snakes crawling all over the place except where we walking they were on the sides and on the roof and had super creepy glowing green eyes red eyes violet blue yellow orange heck the whole rainbow was here and even black was there but unless you stared at the gaps of only then you would realize that even there was something watching you without being visible itself.

As we walked further in there was a fire or something similar at the distance which was illuminating a the path lie light at the end of the tunnel.

But when we reached and actually came close my breath was caught up was because there wasn't any fire but something almost every human was willing to kill for it is was gold.

Everywhere there was gold and precious jewels we were even walking on and could feel that it was a bit soft as if we were walking on sand our feet leaving impressions in the ground.

We had barely walked 15 paces forward when a snake fairly ordinary except for the fact that it was golden, golden scales covered its body from snout to tail tip came right in front of us.

^Halt^
We stopped.

^Our council will meet your kind in moment stay here and do not try to steal or else we would end your existence^

And it slithered away.

"Sensei why did it say end you existence rather than kill us outright"

"Huh you noticed..."
"I guess you have become perceptive enough notice these slight things"

"..." I said nothing because I knew that Sensei was going to speak now

"We as humans and or as living things are interconnected we have a parent and someday we might have off springs so by ending our existence it says that everything and everyone connected to by blood whether close or far will be killed by them"

"So If do it aunt petunia dies?"

"No everyone your aunt cousin uncle and even his relatives far off relations whose existence you might not even be aware of will suffer everyone even sharing one drop or from the same family tree and extended will suffer present past and future"

"So everybody even if Dudley marries and has kids they will also be on the receiving end of it ?"

"Yes and even the one he had kids with"

Harry shuddered it was truly terrifying that such vengeance existed.
"You are skeptical"
I nodded
"You should be but a snake's vengeance is well known and it doesn't even have to be same snake to deliver it would you like to hear a story until they arrive"

I nodded with the Dursley the only story I ever was of my drunk parents dying and him being dumped at their doorstep.

"It is not a good story and might even be called a superstition but once there was a man who was extremely rebellious and flaunted rules and regulations "

"How is that bad ?"

"be quiet"

"Yes please continue"
"It so happened that once he came across a mouse trap and thought it would be a great fun if he managed to trap a snake in it. The village had a policy that no one should harm a snake no matter what as they had only one person to treat snake bites in the in the whole village so it avoidance and had developed many ways to prevent from accidentally treading on like singing songs while alone in the fields or while travelling in the dark."

Harry sniggered

"Yes it is funny but effective if you make a lot of sound snakes and most animals go in the opposite direction and plus from what I imagine that village was old"

"That boy went to an anthill where he knew it had been abandoned by the ants a long time ago and a King Cobra had taken residence there and placed the rat trap with two alive rats in it there and called his friends soon his friends arrived some felt that it was wrong to do it and stayed back yet some others joined him and watched as a snake entered the cage and got trapped and they laughed and laughed."

"Soon they realized that the snake was trashing and exerting itself trying its might to get free but none of them dared to come close to it and the snake died in it struggling and tortured"

"What happened then?"

"The boy and his whole family died even those who had left the village years news came that even they had died due to freak accidents."

"But it could be a coincidence"

"Yes but all this happened within a week and the boy who actually did it died last after losing his mind seeing the bodies of all those whom he knew dead and his cause of death was by snake bites from not less than 20 snakes at the same time."

"Is it true ?"
"It may or may not be that's why it's called superstition"

The story had finished when they heard hissing not but thousands of snakes hissing at the same time and he could make out the words.

^He is Here^ ^He is Here^ ^He is Here^ ^He is Here^ ^He is Here^ ^He is Here^ ^He is Here^ ^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^^He is Here^

And then suddenly there was silence a terrifying silence followed by shadows of multiple snakes.

I stood my ground and eyed sensei who remained unaffected and his eyes blazing red and following something which I couldn't see and then settling on a spot before I saw a huge pile of golden sand moving and something rising from it.
I thought it was a snake and it was but there was a great difference for it had more heads than I had fingers in both my hands and I could find out it was a King Cobra its hood pitch black while the marking on the back a deep green color with black eyes having red slits and its length was enormous as I realized that Sensei and I all this while were actually standing on it body which had been coiled around us and the softness which we felt was actually its body.

Sensei smirked

I got worried.

"Hello Humans"
The voice came from one of the heads but it felt as though all the 12 heads spoke at the same time ,the sound that came wasn't a hiss or anything but it spoke English its accent was deep and powerful as if it had said kneel we would have done it without any resistance.

"Hello " I heard sensei respond which broke me out of my funk.
"I believe that you are the one in charge here"

"Yes I am oldest here but I wish to ask why have you approached us " the voice although strong and powerful was gentle at the same time making me feel a bit at ease

"I am Uchiha Sasuke and this is my student Harry we here wish to make an anchor to the ryuchi cave snakes who wish to have an alliance of mutual assistance and growth for your domain and theirs"

"Hmm I don't mind it but we hardly trust our own and you tell us to trust another nevertheless I shall speak to their representative elder about this if the offer is genuine"

"Go ahead and ask them I shall leave a scroll which will directly send a snake from the cave to here if you allow"

"I see you human who has a contract suspect their intentions as much as I do I believe they have chosen wisely then but tell me human why the child is here I see no purpose"

"I have heard that this child carries a taint from infancy I wish to remove it completely without harming him"

"Hmm I see the child carries the piece of the speaker curse yet it is not intentional but accidental it can be removed completely and the child will be unharmed"

"I believe that there is something that is to be done in compensation"

"True but I haven't even thought of something that you can do for us what could you give us when we have everything" the snake spoke with such confidence that it left no room for doubt.

"Every service must be repaid and there must be something that can be done to appease or even a small sense of equivalence"

"Hiss I believe your opinion will change once the pain of the removal process occurs and I know that even you know of a few ways to do it but refuse to do so as he is not not one of your own"

I blinked and my thoughts were almost rebellious ' Was sensei not doing it because I wasn't his family was I not worthy'

"It's true " I gasped when Sasuke spoke "I belong to a different world a different dimension and he another I do wish to endanger his life or his strength by using something that even I am not sure how his body will respond to"

"Hiss even then you have taken him as a student how strange"

Sensei said nothing.

"I think there is something that can be done" the serpent spoke as its eyes glowed briefly.

A/n I added a superstition. In case you think that it might not be appropriate or meaningless at this point for the story delete I doubt it will make an impact.
And I have deliberately left of naming the 12 headed snake in this chapter.
The feel free to add any part that you might make it better

Till then...

So please review it doesn't matter if it is two word or 20. I appreciate all your reviews and opinions and make the story better than before.

Until then
