I just wanted these damn halls to end… Running-Running-turn.
No one. No one was there at all… Sweat was starting to roll down my face and neck, soaking the back of my shirt and chest… The salty droplets would enter my eyes and burn like fire, but I would continue without closing my eyes… I couldn't let one thing bother me; I needed to keep running… If I stopped… If… They're the undead, they won't stop running, but I will…
My pace started to slow to a jog, my heavy breathing now audible as I held my chest limply…
It was a defeat-bound game… They could run forever without eating, drinking… Nothing… Soon, I leaned on a wooden door which was light by a redstone torch a block to far away to open it… The stone halls looked the same, the stone floors, the stone ceiling… Everything was like a maze of mirrors, nothing changing besides a few turns, only to just find that everything looked the same again… The same doors, the same things, over and over again…
I couldn't help but to smile as I slide down the smooth wooden oak, leaning my head to it… A gentle chuckle, followed by a pant or two…
This… This was true insanity… Doing the same thing over and over again… The bones fell free form my hands as my chuckled turned to a light laugh…
Over… and over again… Expecting to get some different result…
And here I was! He was in a corridor! Each turn, stone and doors! Nothing more! Just endless halls! My laughs turned to loud cackles as I pressed my hands to my temples.

I was going to die alone! In this fucking mansion, alone with no one even knowing where I am!
Was I going to starve? No, I'll dehydrate first most likely- No! More likely, those skeletons will find me!
Will they torture me? Will they eat me alive or cook me first? No, alive, they like raw meat I bet. But at?! Why do they need to eat!
Why… Do…
He paused, his eyes narrowing at the thought; Why do skeletons attack humans if they can't eat?... Why do creepers want to blow humans up? And what about zombies, humans in game just poof into smoke! No one eats! It's just to kill!
Just to kill… The words ran through his head… He was unaware of the calls from down the hall…
Just… To… Kill…

It was a game to them… I slowly started to taste the words, my eyes closing for a moment as rage boiled into my chest… "They… Think… it's just some sport…" He said to himself… He gently pressed his hands to the door, pushing himself up… The calls grew louder, distant shouts of someone… No, something, there is no someone in this wretched place…
"I'm an animal to them… A lamb to the slaughter to no even be eaten, just to be hunted…" I chuckled again, leaning down to pick up the bones…
I gently pressed the door open, two maids stood there by a counter stacked with swords… One small, one tall… Both he knew from the room before… The older sister was polishing iron swords for the soldiers while the little sister stood on a stool and was sewing pieces of leather together for armor…
I paused for a moment… They didn't know I was here… Slowly, I closed the door behind me, careful to not let it click shut… I looked back to them, who they talked bubbly to each other, smiling without looking back to him… They worked in a glowstone shine at a wooden crafting table row… about five in a row, and anvil to the right end where the older maid was, and a leather bin to the left where the smaller maid was… They made side-glances and turned their heads to each other as they gave off rapid clicking the emanated from their throats… Slowly, I started to sneak up on them… Walking on my toes, walking forward… Testing each step…

The stone was smooth and without fault, giving me a perfect surface to use… I soon changed to heel-toe steps, more rapid and quick…
"Click click, clickclickclick, click-click." The little one looked to her, pausing from her work to look to her sister.
"Click ,click click, clickclick-click, click."
The older replied a gentle smile and a flush. Whatever she said, this earned a giggle from the little sister… This was the perfect cover for the man that crept into the light…
Slowly, the bones rose in hand as I target the two… Then paused…

I was willing to strike down these two… For my own selfish needs…
Suddenly, the smaller maid started to speak common, a bit less formal then when she spoke to him.
"Nii-nii, I knew it! You act better then General, but I knew you thought he was cute!" The little girl chimed happily. This only made the older Elite maid blush more… A rosy pink, guessing this was as close to crimson the skeletons could get.
"Nu-nu, I told you, I have never seen a man in my life besides other Elites whom are males… He was…" She paused, setting the sword down gentle. "Different… A caring air about him… Kind and sweet… I know I scolded him… But his stare…" she shivered slightly, and the small sister giggled while I stood in shock…
Slowly, I backed away as the two started to talk rapidly in clicks again… I lowered my bones staring to them…
I was a monster on the run just moments ago. Now… Now they're treating me like a fellow being… One even likes me… The diverse opinions in this world made my head spin… So much, I wasn't aware of them looking back wide eyed as the wooden door cracked and buckled before skidding over the floor behind me… In the pale light, the shadow of a upper skeleton could be seen, a grey flame bright in his eyes.
"You…. You…" He said, his jaw clicking together with each syllable.

"You BASTARD!" He yelled, charging me. I turned, a bit stunned still from the two girls… And when I turned, I took a crushing left hook into my right cheekbone, which sent me tumbling to my side, rolling before meeting the wall with a thud. The pain was blinding, the blood rushing to the injured area… I raised my left hand (Laying on my right side, I was unable to lift my right) and touched my cheek… The pain flared, and was followed by a grip that pulled me from the floor and into the air, onto my feet. From there, I looked forward to meet the fire in an Upper's eyes…
"You killed him-!" He bellowed as he sent his left nub into my stomach, making a shockwave travel through me, a spurt of blood bursting form my mouth and speckling the bone of the Upper. He reared back, bellowing once more.
"My best friend-!" He again sent the nub into my stomach, my back pressing to the wall as I swore I could feel the nub touch the back of my spine. Another spurt of blood, but more in quantity… This time, streaks painted the skull, but his flames hissed as the blood burned inside the bright blaze.
"MY BROTHER!" He reared his nub back, but he jerked, and stiffened, he looked back to see the small girl holding his arm.
"Stop! You're going to kill Nii-Nii's crush!" She said in a plea, the older maid moving behind her, attempting to pull her off as she clicked rapidly at her. But, the both came in contact with a sweeping back-hand/nub, sending them tumbling back, the younger one sniffling as she held her cheek, the older maid moving to her to take her into her bosom as she watched in horror as the skeleton turned back to the man… But she was not afraid of the Upper…

The human looked dead-set and suicidal now, his gaze like a cold blade to the neck… His reach moved out from his neck as his feet pushed up on the wall to support him so he did not choke himself in the bone grip…

I just noticed as I reached out and hooked both hands around the upper arm of the skeleton that his right hand was a skeletal hand, but his left arm's hand was still a nub… I took hold of the upper armed, and jerked to the side… Without the tendons and muscle there to stop him, the arm popped off, and the skeleton backed away in pain, shouting curses to the human. The human fell to the floor, landing on his feet as he ripped the arm off my throat, shaking the extra bits off to left him with a solid bone club… The skeleton looked back to me as I smiled darkly, my smiled inching up the sides of my face like the Cheshire Cat; almost literally ear to ear in a cruel twisted smile. The upper paused, clicking his jaw before charging, rearing his nub back and throwing it to me…

Too slow; the human twirled to the left, letting the skeleton ram his nub through the wall, making the wall crack horribly and his nub soon found to be stuck. He jerked back, unable to get it out without ripping his other arm off… The human showed no signs of the injuries inside him, only the demonic smile he wore… Soon, in a single bound, he was in the air with the bone high above his head, sending it down into the spine of the skeleton… The Upper's spine shattered like glass as he gave a horrible clicking which translated to pained screams… The human did not stop here… With the skeleton now a torso with his arm stuck in the wall, his lower half on the floor in multiple pieces, he took hold of his skull then jerked it back. The skeleton screamed in horror, pleading in clicks and common to stop. But the human placed his foot on the wall, pulling back and ripping the top half of the skull off the body, leaving the rest of the skeleton to shatter to pieces, now the jaw joining the pile as the bright blazing eyes of the skull flicked, looking around the room… He just ripped an Upper's head off and kept him alive… A living war trophy…

Panting heavily, I look him in the eyes, gazing to the grey flames which flickered with either anger or fear… I smiled brightly and looked to the crowd of shocked soldiers, rolling the skull like a bowling ball to them. They quickly scatter, fearing it was some sort of attack…
"Try… I'll make you end up the same…" I threatened, making them look to me… The maids looked to me in horror, but I turned to them, offering a hand.
"… He hit you… are you al-"
"STAY BACK!" The older sister called, scooting back as tears started to roll down her face. "Don't you DARE touch Primula, you prick!" She shouted, holding the now bawling girl to her chest… The soldiers looked to them, slowly starting to advance.
"Jerk, murderer!-"She began; shaking her head as tears of her own brimmed. "MONSTER!" She screamed, soon she was picked up by two commons and dragged away into the protective mass. Now with the two out of the way, the commons drew arrows and rib-daggers… I looked around slowly to notice the General sitting in the back, her gaze dark and cold.
"… You killed a very good soldier of mine …" She said, raising her hand up making a fist as she called across the room. "By murder of common, harming a Upper, and running form the Skeleton Castle Guard, I decree your actions unforgivable at this point! I order execution of public guard!" She sneered, waving her hand in a sliding motion, liking pushing wind to the skeleton's backs, "HAVE AT 'EM BOYS!"

Arrows flew, skeletons charged…
And the wall came crumbling down atop me, stopping the arrows from hurting me…
Atop the rubble was Rosa, in her Princess form and… Again, mostly a naked Giantess with hair covering her most private places. The skeletons froze on the advance, but the archers sat with arrows drawn, waiting… But the General knew better then to directly attack… She hisses under her breath, looking to her troops, knowing that they alone might not be enough to defeat the Iron Golem Princess… There was a loud clatter noise that rang in the air from her, and the sea of bone parted, leaving Sarah in the middle, the Elite mob…
"... Rosa… This is an act of war, you know… You're quarry is with the zombies, not skeletons…" While she spoke, Rosa knelt down and pushed the rubble aside, leaving me blinded by either the sudden red light of redstone, or Rosa's stunning form… She gently took me by the shoulders, and lifted me free of the rubble, starting to brush me off… A skeleton clicked loudly, and pulled his arrow back, but Sarah clicked back to him, making him stop his pull.
"…. Rosa, talk to-"

"My war is with humans, always on their side." Rosa said in a monotone voice, almost challenging to Sarah as she finished making sure I was fine. Rosa turned, looking to Sarah with her red eyes glowing a protective aura. "Those whom attack Chris attack my heart. I show no mercy to those that do so." Sarah clenched her jaw, looking to her, pressing her side now.

"He murdered common mobs inside of my own castle; he beat an upper with my kin's own bones. He made a fool out of us running the corridors. He broke into the room and scared the maids half to the nether." She walked forward, pacing… Her goth boots clicking on the smooth stone and her black tights showing her natural swagger. "In conduct of the Treaty of the Craft, you are to hand over the offender to my kingdoms laws, or you will face death alongside him." She paused, looking to Rosa with fear…. She knew she was powerful… She was deathly afraid of what this powerful girl might do if her back was to the corner and her livelihood was at stake…

Laugh. She would laugh; Rosa would let the room fill first with a gentle giggle that turned to a full blown laugh. "You-~?" She cooed, holding her stomach as he lips split into a smile. "-an Elite with common behind her to face a PRINCESS? You really are thick skulled, you skeletons!"

This sent a furious flush to Sarah's cheeks, as she opened her mouth, she would just close to hold back any foul words… True, she was always going to be Elite, stuck this way without becoming a princess… What was she going to do? He thoughts raced… In the back, she could hear the two maids talking to one another.

"Nu-Nu, it's alright… The Royal Guard is here, we're fine… please stop crying…" The oldest said, almost pleading to the sister.

"I-it's n-not that… I-I'm J-j-just scared, Nii-Nii…" A gentle voice came, a child's… "W-why a-are you mad a-at the human?... H-he… Was j-just trying to defend u-us, Nii-Nii…"

"Nu-nu… He… He's dangerous, I mean you saw-" She began, but the stomp of a small foot echoed in the room… Even now, the skeletons went silent to pry, and so has Rosa…

"Nii-Nii, the Upper HIT US-!" She stated loudly… The General looked to the skull, which flames flickered, like it was looking away from her gaze. "He was DEFENDING us, even I, a CHILD could see that!"

There was silence for a moment… But I, Chris, would be the next to speak; but only in a whisper to Rosa.
"Help me stand up, Rosa… Bit sore here…" Without question she did so, nodding as she moved her hands under my arm and lifted me upwards to stand on my feet. All eyes were on the two now…. If I ran, the small girl's heart would be broken, and everything put against me would be shown to be right… So, with a booming voice, I called out; "PARLAY!"

The General almost spun on her heels, her jaw setting as she hissed, pointing a hand to him. "Silence, you do-" She started, but I continued.

"I request parlay and to move this to the highest command to be judged and decided by the highest authority of the Kingdom!" The General opened her mouth, helpless as I continued further. "I request court with the Royal Family, the Royals of the Skeleton Kingdom!"
My heart beats like a hammer in my chest, my eyes looking around as my throat started to close up… Even Rosa was visibly tensed, ready to dart with the human under her arm… But, my body relaxed as the General gave a loud clicking sound, which I presumed to be her kind's form of a curse.

"CLICKCLICK. Surround them and bind the human! Encase the Golem in steel bands! We move on my word to the King's Court!" She spun on her heels, ready to walk through the crowd before turning back to me, storming up to the supported male… I looked to Rosa, telling her to stay in place silently. And with not a second less timing, a hand dashed through the air and slapped my cheek with a recoiling force, undoubtedly from Sarah.

"Figure… The cute ones are always the rotten criminals…" I looked back, holding my cheek, ready to defend myself before she spat to my feet, turning once more and storming to the maids. "I hope the King smashes you!" She called back, turning to a more gentle air as she gave gentle clicks to the two maids…

The maids were gathered and interrogated, seeing their side of the story as the common also gathered the pieces of the Upper… As ordered, a hemp rope coiled and bonds my wrists behind my back, a duel-noosed rope tying my ankles, making it impossible for me to run. Rosa was surrounded by glowing red steel bands… She showed no mind as they cooled and kept her in place. Two common commanders moved in front of us, and began to move us out of the room as Sarah listened to the two maids talk back and forth, finishing each other's sentences without correction or protest… I walked once more down the corridors, Rosa beside me and bound (and thankfully covered her nudity) with the steel bonds. The guard of skeletons walked behind us in a roaring, clacking thunder as we moved… Step by step, pace to pace. Bows to my back, the common commander's swords to my front, and thousands of these undead in this household… I called for the right thing, and I'm surprised…
I honestly ripped that off from Pirates of the Caribbean…

The walk lasted for what seemed to be hours, just walking these mindless corridors… Each door looked the same, each torch the same place at a certain amount of blocks… No matter what, it was like a maze that those whom had to be born here would only know… Then, at a turn, I could see it… I was standing once more in a grand hall after just leaving a normal hallway, the opening almost worth for fainting… Dozens of feet in height, arches decorated the room as roman arches pillared downward to support… A mix of gothic, Roman, Greek, and even some renaissance if I was correct… It was stunning, the light from the stained window near the façade let a mixed-color ray of light beam into the room… And eerily, it landed and stayed on only one spot…
A large dark oak door stood surrounded by welly carved solid stone, details of battles could be seen the closer we walked down the middle of the hall, which was stripped with a single red rug… Left and right, I could see curious staff gather behind the pillars and watch…
Sarah took place behind the mass mob, making her way to my side. I looked to her, giving an eye of curiosity, and a voice of caution…

"So, any advice?" I ask…. This made her sneer, not even giving me a side glance.
"…. Don't be a human." She put coldly… She then lifted a hand, and the mobs behind her stopped. I stumbled a few more steps alone, Rosa stopped with them. I was alone, a stray from the herd.
"Be glad if he eats you head first, he might crush your skull and kill you instantly…"
She pushed her palms to the door, and the doors cracked open easily, showing the insides of a grand hall in the dim light that spilled in… Red, blue, green and yellow splashed onto the floor in a streak before coming to an end at the ledge of stairs. From there, torches lit all around the darkness of the room. Redstone torches in a swirling tribal pattern across the stone walls, making it look like dragons on either side behind pillars of quartz to the left and right… Forward, there was a throne… The throne was completely made of bone and cushion.
Thigh bones and pieces of arms made the back in a splayed feather motion. The cushion was a leather stuffed with feather, what the leather was from; I was too afraid to even think of that possibility… The arm rests were made of arm bones, and on the end of the arm rest was a skull on each side, like for the hand to grasp. The lower half was a prism of bone, making a sturdy base…
The platform was a flight of stairs upward, leaving someone atop the throne completely alone with the advantage of height.
A pale, tall form sat in the throne in a lazy posture. A fist under his chin and grey eyes looking down to the stray sheep that walked from the herd… He had long white hair that was braided into two strands that fell over the front of each shoulder, while the rest fell back behind his head and down to his waist. The figure wore a white shirt with blue accent, pinned with multiple medals and badges. Below was a pair of black slacks, then black combat boots… He seemed more of a military fighter then a king.

He gently raised a hand, and turned his palm to the ceiling, making a fist besides for his index finger, which beckoned me forward. I looked back to Sarah, but she coldly turned, her hair whipping the air as she went to the door, closing it behind her. Rosa was about to protest, but the clunk of the oak wood sealing him in cut her off… He looked back, seeing the pale man awaiting him with an air of infinite patience that only the dead could give… I slowly walked forward, my footsteps echoing in the giant room… Light only came from the redstone torches.

What judgment awaited him…
What did the slowly opening maw of the King hold for him?...
