"Yuuki Haburi!" A series of loud knocks wake the two sleeping teens.
"Yuuki," Kakashi groans, shaking the girl in an unsuccessful attempt to wake her.
"Ten more minutes," she whines, pulling the blankets over her head. Sighing, Kakashi drags himself out of bed, pulls a black t-shirt over his head, and heads downstairs to answer the door.
"What do you want?" he asks impolitely after opening the door to reveal some of the Hokage's assistants.
"We need to speak with Haburi."
"Why?" Kakashi presses.
"It's a private matter between Lord Hokage and Haburi-san."
"Who's at the door?" Yuuki questions with a yawn, stumbling down the stairs in nothing more than her over-sized black shirt.
"Haburi-san, Lord Hokage requests your presence immediately."
"Oh..uhmm.. Give me a minute to shower and get dressed," Yuuki says, motioning to her bed-head and lack of proper attire.
"No time."
"What? I can't even get dressed?" The two men stand stony-faced. "Alright..." Yuuki sighs, walking to the door and pulling her sandals on. "I'll be back, Kakashi." She smiles at him, kisses his cheek, and disappears in a 'poof' with the men. Kakashi stares at the spot Yuuki had disappeared from just seconds before and sighs.
"He's really going to send her on a mission so soon," Kakashi says to himself, getting slightly angry at the Third Hokage.

"You requested me, Lord Third," Yuuki says respectfully as she appears in his office.
"Yuuki, I have a mission for you," the old man informs the tired girl, not paying any attention to her disheveled state.
"Alright," she says, suppressing her sigh of annoyance.
"This scroll contains all of the information. This mission is extremely important. Once you have read the scroll, destroy it. Understood?"
"Hai, Lord Third." Yuuki bows to the Hokage and disappears from the office.

"I'm back!" Yuuki yells as she appears in the doorway of her home. She pulls her shoes off and glances at Kakashi, who is standing in the kitchen reading a familiar book. "Hey, my dad used to read those all the time!" Despite Kakashi's protests, she snatches the book from him and reads the title. "Icha Icha...Paradise..." She sends a cross look at Kakashi before returning the book to him. "Pervert."
"What did the Hokage want?" Kakashi says with a nervous laugh.
"I leave for a mission in an hour." She doesn't wait for a response as she heads upstairs to shower and read the particulars of her mission. Once in the privacy of her room, she opens the scroll.
'Kuro,
Our informant who had infiltrated Orochimaru's ranks has not been heard from in some time. The village requires your service to obtain the exact reasoning for this lack of communication. He is assumed as either dead or a traitor. In the event of his betrayal, kill him. In the event of his death, you will need to replace him.
Infiltrate Orochimaru's ranks. If possible, kill him.
Make your father proud.'
"So, regardless of the situation, I need to get close enough to kill Orochimaru. There is no way I'd be able to infiltrate his ranks. In either case, dead or traitor, Orochimaru must know that he was a spy and that a replacement will be sent," Yuuki thinks to herself before sighing and grabbing her clothing and heading to the shower. After showering quickly, she braids her hair tightly and dresses in her black shorts (much like Sakura's) and long, black, loose tanktop. She rereads the scroll to make sure she has everything ingrained to her memory and then burns said document.
"So how long will you be gone?" Kakashi asks as Yuuki walks into the kitchen.
"Don't know," Yuuki replies with a shrug. She sits down at the table where Kakashi had already placed a plate of scrambled eggs for her. Kakashi's brow furrows as she starts to eat the meal.
"What's the mission?" Kakashi probes, watching the beautiful girl he had fallen in love with eat the meal he had made for her.
"Classified," Yuuki says shortly.
"Yuuki..." Kakashi begins, not understanding the distant tone in her voice and the way that she was currently treating him.
"Well, I've gotta go," Yuuki says as she finishes her food and places her dirty dishes in the sink. She checks her pouch placed on her left thigh to make sure her mask was there, tightens her shinobi headband around her right thigh, and slips her shinobi sandals on. "I'll be back when the mission is done."
"Be careful..." Kakashi says as she 'poof's away.

Yuuki's POV
I felt bad, acting like that to Kakashi... But, I may not be coming back alive.. I could hardly bear the idea of not ever seeing him again.. It didn't make sense at all, treating him like that. I should've just acted normally, or kissed him, or anything else!
It took me six days to get to the outskirts of the Sound Village. I settled a few miles outside of the village to rest, as I had not stopped once for a break. I perched myself high in a tree and slept cautiously through the night. Morning came quickly and woke up in a rather bad mood. All night, all I could think about was how I was never going to see Kakashi again. I had come to the conclusion that there was no way I could safely infiltrate Orochimaru's ranks. The only thing I could do was make it to him and hope I could take him out. Either way, I had little hope of survival. I pulled my anbu mask out of the pouch and placed it on my face, concealing my identity.
"Stop and identify yourself!" a Sound shinobi commanded from behind me after I had walked into the village. I turned and faced the shinobi and he wasted no time noticing my Leaf marking on my thigh. "State your business, Leaf shinobi."
"I need to speak with Orochimaru," I said coldly. The man scoffed and I was suddenly surrounded by five other shinobi. A wicked grin crossed my face, which of course they couldn't see.
"Please," I laughed evilly. Five of them charged at me at the same time and I, at the last second, jumped out of the way causing them to ram into each other at full speed. Landing behind the shinobi that had originally stopped me, I pressed a kunai to his throat. "Take me to Orochimaru," I demand, an obvious threat in my tone.
"Over my dead body," he snides.
"That can be arranged," I whisper in his ear, slitting his throat. I would find Orochimaru on my own.
"That was unnecessary," a shinobi says from behind me. I spin around to see a boy in purple with silver hair and spectacles.
"Well, then maybe you would be so kind as to take me to your master," I say mockingly. He laughs at my statement and disappears, reappearing behind me too quickly for me to react. After a quick jab into my neck, I fall into a state of unconsciousness.

"So, she was the one that old geezer sent after me," I hear a sinister voice sneer as I come to.
"You know this kunoichi, Lord Orochimaru?" I hear the spectacled shinobi ask.
"Yes. When she was much younger, I trained her. She is Haburi Yuuki, the one taken in my the Fourth," Orochimaru explains.
"This is all quite unnecessary," I say jokingly, opening my eyes and referring to the chains around my wrists that were binding me to the wall. Orochimaru smiles a sinister smile at me. "I only wanted to speak to you, Orochimaru-senpai."
"Little Yuuki," Orochimaru says, twirling a strand of my hair that had escaped my braid in his fingers. He glanced lecherously at my frame, "not so little any longer, eh?"
"Disgusting," I spat, earning a sharp slap from the exiled Sanin.
"Why are you here?" the spectacled boy asks.
"To kill that disgusting snake, why else?" I jeer back, my normally friendly eyes filled with a cold glare. The boy grips my shirt murderously, but is stopped from enacting his rage on me by Orochimaru.
"Kabuto, stop. We can get valuable information about Konoha from this pretty little girl."
"Ha! Like I'd ever tell you anything!" I counter back.
"We have ways of making you talk," Orochimaru sneers, his long tongue licking my cheek. I nearly choked on my bile. "You will learn to crave the feeling of my tongue on you and in you," he whispers into my ear, causing my blood to run cold.

I lost track of how long I was held at Orochimaru's. Each day was nearly the same; I was tortured one way or another, either physically or sexually. They fed me just enough to keep my alive. For a while, I fought back against the abuse, but it didn't take me long to realize how much they (Kabuto and Orochimaru) enjoyed my struggles and cries, so I became a robot, much like I had when I lived with my real father.
One day, things changed though. It began like normal, Kabuto had come in and tortured me, satisfied himself, and then left me lying in my tattered, oversized tanktop. Blood and other bodily fluids covered the floors and walls of the small cell I was held in. A few hours, I assume, later, the door to my cage opened again. I assumed it was Orochimaru coming to satisfy himself with me per usual so I didn't bother wasting the energy to lift my head. Instead, however, I was roughly grabbed by the back of my tanktop and dragged to Orochimaru's room and thrown at his feet.
"You look so pathetic, Yuuki," Orochimaru cackled. I'm ashamed to say, he was right. I barely had any strength left, I was mal-nourished, and Kabuto had placed two band on my wrists that cut my chakra flow off. I was powerless. The only reason I was alive, was because Orochimaru wanted me alive. My only accomplishment in the time that I had been captive is that I had not given him any information. In that sense, at least, I remained strong.
"We're taking her with us to Konoha, Lord Orochimaru?" Kabuto asked skeptically, cutting me out of my reverie.
"Yes. The old man was always fond of her." Kabuto nodded at his master and grabbed me by the hair, throwing me in a small cage, closely resembling a pet carrier.
