Ash and Harry Ketchum's Pokémon Journey.
Summary- Harry since he had first been placed with the Dursley's had lived a miserable life with no chance of happiness. Something that Magic herself will not stand for any longer; especially once she finds out the plans a certain headmaster has for her chosen. Plans that Magic has no designs herself to allow to happen. To stop this from happening Magic decides to send her choice child to a new world altogether. One where he would finally be loved and have a chance at a destiny Magic wants for him. Not to mention it gives magic a chance to give some gifts to her favorite child. Now what changes will Harry bring to the world he's now part of and how will Ash's journey change now that he has a brother that's coming along for the ride. Not to mention what happens when the wizarding world finds out just what happened to the boy they called their savior and the fact they have no chance of getting him back, unless magic herself allows it; something that is highly unlikely to happen.
I do not own Harry Potter or Pokémon, nor do I make any money/profit off of either one of them.

Chapter seven
When Ash and Harry got were able to fully stock themselves in the PokeMart that was there, to a degree that even Harry felt that they were probably a bit over prepared, the two both went into Viridian forest.
Which is where the both of them decided that to best help with their training, as well as to help them both reach their goals when it came to capturing other Pokémon, that they were going to septate from each other while in said forest; at least temporarily they were.
Seeing as despite growing up together they had different fighting styles that could clash when they went to train together; besides they both knew that sooner or later they would be battling against each other, be it for fun or for a more serious battle and both wanted to be prepared for it; each not wanting to insult their brother by not putting their all into the battle they could have.
To so this, they both planned to go in different directions while they were in the forest, keeping track of just where they were going through a series marks; along with some of their Pokémon's help. So that they could meet each other back but for the night, as Harry was the only one out of them that could actual cook something eatable; while Ash was the best at setting up their camping grounds.
They planned to keep this up during their entire stay in the forest with their marks being used to help them find their way back to each other each time. Not to mention that, with each time they separated and came back together, they would both be going deeper and deep with the forest until they finally exited said forest.
When they did meet up both Harry and Ash would clean up, heal and groom their Pokémon together, before getting some much-needed nurturance into all of them; both the trainers as well as the Pokémon. Then all of them would rest as a group for better protection against anything or anyone that would or could attack them.
By doing this both brothers figured that it would allow them to find out more about their own fighting styles. Instead of them both sticking to the same fighting style even if it didn't really fit them like they had been doing during the last two weeks.
Not only that but by going their own way for a bit, would allow both Ash and Harry to also figure out their own way of capturing Pokémon. And at the same time wouldn't give either one of them an advantage over the other when it came to either Pokémon or battling. Not to mention, despite being close as brothers and not fighting often, the two did need a break from one another; just so they didn't get on each other's nerves as much as they would otherwise.
Something Harry had pointed out as a plus to this idea, and something Ash had agreed with, as there had been times Harry's more paranoid mind, and always seeing the worst in things, had honestly gotten on his nerve. Just as he knew his brashness, tendency to be over loud and not thinking things through, got on his brother's nerves at times.
The two of them really decided to do this, before they even entered the previous city. Because, as they found out while they had trained earlier, during their trip through route one, both brothers had their own fighting style and way of training that almost clashed with one another.
However basic and slightly underdeveloped said fighting styles may currently be at the moment. Something that made sense seeing as they had both really just started their journey; even if they had taken care of different types of Pokémon on Professor Oak's PokeRanch.
Since it seemed when it came to fighting, as well the training they did to get better at battling, Ash like to rely on strength and pure power when it came to his Pokémon. While Harry, on the other hand, seemed to care more about speed and control then pure power and strength. Though, at the same time, neither brother relied purely on what they preferred in battle; knowing better than to do so. As Ash knew that sometime speed could end a battle, and Harry knew that sometimes you really did need to brute strength to end a battle.
It was just they had several large differences in their training strategies when it came to what they believed to be the best in their Pokémon. And couldn't completely agree with just how something should be done when it came to said training.
Not only that but both Ash and Harry agreed that by going in different directions, while in the forest, this would give both brothers time to capture different Pokémon they felt would fit them better without feeling pressured by each other.
This was mainly because of the fact both brothers felt different about just how many Pokémon they should catch. Doing it this way would give them a chance to capture the Pokémon they wanted; however many or how ever few that may be.
This being the fact Ash wanted to capture a lot more Pokémon then Harry did, he wanted a large variety of Pokémon, as well as many future friends. While Harry on the other hand wasn't sure that he wanted to do that. Preferring to have a smaller number of Pokémon but feeling he would be closer to them because of this. Something he felt was rather important, and something Ash agreed with even if he did want more Pokémon to have said bonds with.
This in mind and not begrudging the other brother of what they thought, even if they didn't completely agree with some of it. The two felt it be easier for them to go train away from each other. At least for the time being that is.
It wasn't like they were planning on separating or that they completely disagreed with on each other; they just wanted to do things the way the felt would be best for them. Besides they were also doing a bit of group training later on to prove to each other that their training was a waste. And help the other Pokémon discover any weaknesses that maybe during said training.
Which was why, neither brother was upset about being separated for the time being, even if they really hadn't been apart for long periods of time since they had first become brothers. And besides even if they were being separated it really was only going to be for a couple of hours at max, something they weren't worried about.
Because they knew each night, they would be meeting up again and that the both of them planned to chat over what they had learned during their training; later on during dinner to help one another improve. Which again was Something they planned to do every night after each day's training. Not to mention they also talked about information on what could be helpful in future battles as well as what they could most likely find later on during their Journey.
For the two brother the plan they had made, when they had first entered Viridian forest, was going very smoothly, and had been going real smoothly for a little over three weeks they had been in said forest.
They had both had gotten a lot further in their training and were not only a lot more comfortable with their Pokémon, as well as themselves then they had been before. But they had also earned a lot more information that they didn't know before. Information that would prove to be a big help later on, both for them and their Pokémon, due to something Harry had found on the Pokedex. As after one night of being bored he had decided to mess with said Pokedex.
To make matters even better they had been able to both capture several Pokémon along the way, as well as have a few different battles against several other trainers while they were in the forest.
The weirdest, and the one that really stuck out the most in their head, being a battle both of them had, at different times, against a trainer who called himself the samurai. Honestly neither had been terrible impressed by him seeing as it seemed like he didn't take training his Pokémon seriously.
Something that wasn't helped by the fact he had challenged both Harry and Ash several different times afterwards and neither Harry or Ash could find any improvement in any of his Pokémon during their battles; you would think after losing once he would train them some more before challenging either Harry or Ash again. But that hadn't been the case.
Not to mention that to Harry he had come off as highly arrogant as well. Making Harry usually end the battles he had with the trainer in question faster, but more ruthlessly, then he normally would have.
This wasn't helped in the least bit over the fact Harry had to listen to him degrade and call Ash a cheater each time they battled. Starting with the first time they had battled, due to the fact Ash had won a battle against him earlier, when Gary and assured this 'samurai' that battling Ash would be an easy win. Which it was; for Ash that is.
The two weren't sure if it was all the training, they were putting their Pokémon though, or if the trainers in the forest really weren't training their Pokémon much to begin with. But all the battles the two had weren't terrible satisfying or challenging like they had hoped they would be.
Though Harry did hint that the trainers in the forest had to be just beginners and the fights they got to in the future would be a lot more difficult with much stronger Pokémon; so, they better not get arrogant about the fights they had one so far.
Because honestly it was only the very beginning against types, they both had type advantage against; at least for now it was. SO yes, for now the battles where rather easy but there where going to get a lot hard; and most likely get a lot harder soon.
On the other had when it came to the Pokémon the two were able to catch, as well as the training they were able to get with said Pokémon, both brothers were a lot more satisfied with those. Especially Ash who had been able to catch several different Pokémon and had even managed to have two of them evolve on him through both the battling as well as training he had put them through.
The Pokémon Ash had been able to catch, while in the forest being, A Caterpie, which had evolved to a Metapod and then even a Butterfree, a Weedle that had managed to get to its final form of Beedrill, a Pidgeotto, whom he had named Sora and had been shipped to Professor Oaks. A training obsessed Mankey that seemed rather close to evolving himself nicknamed Champ, and a Shellder. That Ash had managed to capture when Harry had showed him rather fast-moving river that Harry himself trained near. Seeing as what Pokémon Harry had where either water and there for needed water to move easily or fire; which having water nearby could be very handy. AS the last thing Harry wanted to cause was a forest fire of some sort.
When it came to what Pokémon he had captured Harry didn't capture nearly as many Pokémon as Ash, as he was more interested in training the Pokémon he currently had, then capturing to many more. At least at this point he was. But, at the same time, he had managed to capture a Pokémon himself, and because of that had also been led to very interesting find when he was training said Pokémon.
The Pokémon that Harry had captured, was one that had impressed his brother quite a bit, and got him actually pouting as well, seeing as it was a Shiny Syther. And the discover that he had found, was by the fast-flowing river that he had been training by, and that was an actual Pokémon egg. One that had been being dragged down through said river without any sort of protection on it.
Harry upon seeing the egg in question, and after saving said egg from the river, had gotten the feeling had been in water quite a while, and would need a lot of care to recover from the trauma it had suffered through in said river. But amazingly it was still in rather healthy condition. Leaving Harry to believe the Pokémon in the egg was a very hearty Pokémon that was either used to water or if not that cold areas.
Speaking of eggs, both the eggs that their mother had given them had hatched a week into their trip into the forest; while everyone had been settling in for dinner that night. When it had happened both brothers were utterly delighted with that they had gotten, each feeling the Pokémon that had hatched from the egg fit them.
Not to mention rather surprised they had both decided to hatch at the same time. Something Harry put down to them both being the same age as each other; as their mother had gotten them at the same time after all.
From Ash's egg he had gotten a male Growlith, that looked larger in size the a normal Growlith was. Even fresh from the egg his Ash's Growlith was a good couple of inches bigger than a normal size Growlith usually was. And that was with the fact most normal Growlith grow a good deal once out of the egg in the first place. Meaning Ash's Growlith was going to be a good bit large then the Normal Growlith once it finished growing. Something Ash was both curious about and rather tickled about at the same time.
When it came to his Growlith, who Ash had named Fierce, Ash really hadn't officially caught him yet. Not because he didn't want to but more because he was currently at his limit of Pokémon that he could have on him at the moment and he didn't want Growlith to have to go to professor Oak's ranch when he was currently so young; especially not so soon after hatching. Even if he knew that the Professor would be curious about the size and muscle mass that this Growlith had; even right out of the egg.
Which was something Harry knew that Ash was going to bring up with the professor when they reached the next town. Well that and the fact that he really wanting to increase the limit of Pokémon he could carry to a higher number; if that was possible.
Something Harry himself was rather curious, and hopeful, about as well. Though at the same time he wasn't so sure it was allowed given he thought the limitation was league laws; or something similar to them anyway. But he could still be hopeful either way, as the worst the professor could do was just say no to their request anyway.
As for what happened with the egg Harry had, it hatched into an Eevee, a shiny Eevee at that. One that was mainly grey with an almost sliver main. Making Ash look at it wide eyed for a moment before shaking his head and saying his brother had the strangest since of luck. Which at Harry's look Ash added on, that he seemed to attract shiny Pokémon to him for some reason.
Something that had Harry both blushing slightly, and cursing mentally in his head about, because he knew that the fact, he attracted shiny Pokémon to him was going to be something that attracted criminal attention towards him as well.
But at the same time, he wouldn't give up any one of his Pokémon, shiny or not, even if they were a bit different from the other Pokémon like them. It didn't matter to him. Why would Harry care if someone was different from the norm, it wasn't like Harry himself was that normal himself.
Still knowing how rare Eevees were, especially shiny ones at that, Harry didn't want to risk someone else trying to steal her from him so Harry, unlike his brother, had captured her; if only to keep her save from other. Not to mention it was safe for him to do so, as unlike his brother Harry didn't have the maximum of six Pokémon yet.
He had named his Eevee, Little wonder, while the shiny Syther he had captured he had named samurai. Though he had debated changing the name when he battled the trainer going by the same name, but the name fit his Syther to much for Harry to want to change it. Besides his Syther really liked the name and it made him happy, so the name was there to stay; even if he didn't like the trainer who called himself that.
Which left us where both Harry and Ash currently were. Both Brothers had finished up their morning clean up and were both about to head off in their own direction to begin their training for the day. When they heard a loud piercing, scream coming from behind them off somewhere near in the direction part of the river was in.
Once the both of them got to where the screaming was coming from they saw a sight that made them both jump into action at once. Because there where the screaming was coming from was a young teenage girl, maybe two years or so older than both Harry and Ash were, down on the ground screaming as a Gyarados came out of the river; clearly enraged and looking ready to attack.
How it got there was anyone's guess as Harry hadn't thought the river was deep enough, or wide enough for that matter, for said creature. Still they both new that they had to girl away from the Pokémon before anything else happened.
So that in mind, Harry knowing he was quicker than his brother, and that said brother had a Pokémon that was a better match for fighting the Pokémon in question, leaped down to where the hysterical screaming girl was before quickly pulling her way from the angry Gyarados while he was doing this, Ash, seeing that now both the teen and Harry was out of the way, called out.
"Loki, thunderbolt, and make it as strong!" Hearing this Ash's Pikachu jumped up from where it was standing on Ash's shoulder and sent a powerful electric blast at the water dragon in question forcing said dragon to flee before it was defeated. Ash seeing this gave a quick nod in thanks to his Pokémon before rushing over to where both Harry, and the girl they had just rescued was.
As he got there, he immediately noticed three things, one his brother looked to be rather upset about something, in fact he looked like he was holding himself back from lashing out about something.
Two the girl they had rescued also looked to be upset about something and she too looked like she was about to start hitting something, and three it seemed the girl was upset about something he had apparently done to her because as soon as he was in her train of sight she started stormed over to where he was and tried to slap him of all thing. Tried because before she could actually hit him Harry had her arm twisted behind her back, stopping her from moving, and was icily asking her.
"Just what the hell do you think you're doing trying to hit my brother like that? Especially, when we both went out of our way to save your life! Do you know what would have happened if we hadn't had been here! Do you think you would have gotten away from that Gyarados?!" It was while Harry was saying this and having a tight grip on the girl who had just attempted to slap him, that Ash was able to get a good look at the girl they had just rescued; however ungrateful she seemed to be.
What Ash saw was, red haired, teenage girl with her hair pulled into a high ponytail, who was about thirteen maybe fourteen years old at the most and was wearing a pair of short suspenders with a bright yellow belly shirt. Seeing this, or seeing the clothing she was wearing, the only thing Ash could think was that those clothing wouldn't offer her any protection from anything and would attract all the wrong sort of people. So why did she wear them in the first place?
Ash was knocked out of his observation when the subject of said observations started screeching at them at the top of her lungs at them.
"That Pikachu of yours fried My Bike!" Hearing this, and not able to believe the girl in question, Harry quickly snapped back at her.
"Saving your ungrateful life!' Again, this didn't seem to get through to the girl as she continued to struggle in Harry's grip still screaming at them.
"I don't care! The two of you are going to pay me back for the that bike or I am going to report you to the league! Now Let go of me!" Harry was very attempting to tell the girl to report them, and make sure to tell the league the full story, including how the bike in question had been destroyed when they saved her life from an enrage Gyarados of all things. But before he could day this Ash finally piped up.
"Okay will Pay you back, Harry let go of her. We did destroy her bike and she does have a right to be angry at us about that." Harry hearing this felt his eye twitch slightly and decide to listen to his brother; for the moment at least. But before he released the girl, he spat out one last thing.
"Fine I'll let her go, but if she tries to hit either me or you, I reserve all right to return the favor after all we aren't her punching bags, and while mother always told us to treat women and ladies with respect. I will not include this girl in with that after all a proper young lady would know how to be at least the littlest bit grateful when someone saves their life! "This said Harry released the girl in question and then glared at her when she swung around looking like she was about to hit him; despite what he had just said to her.
"My name is Misty not, girl you hear me!" Hearing this, Harry once more raised an eyebrow and in a tone, that resembled a desert with just how dry it was replied to her.
"Okay, now ask me if I care." Ash hearing this and seeing the clear dislike in his brother's eyes as he looked at Misty felt like groaning slightly. He got the feeling that their, up till now smooth, traveling had just got a lot rockier. Though on the upside they were just a day's travel now from the nearest village so hopeful they would be able to work something about the bike there.
Till then Ash really hoped that the two wouldn't argue the whole way there; something he got the feeling was a fool's hope for some reason…perhaps it was they greedily gleam that sudden got in Misty's eyes when she saw Harry's Pokémon. Or maybe it was the near silent growl he could hear coming from Harry whenever Misty came to close too him? And that growling chill down his back didn't mean anything right?
