Chapter 6; Between Sisters
She had a hard time bringing Rex home but she had brought him home as fast as she could. She knew her sister Belsce would be able to help her, even though she wasn't a master healer like one of the North or South Pole benders. She had to tell someone else about what she had learned. She pulled into the garage and called up to the rest of her family.
"Belsce," She called to her sister. "I found Rex and he needs help."
"I'm coming Celkce, come on Jenhen, Genbe." Her sister said from upstairs.
"No, I just need you Belsce. Jenhen and Genbe can stay upstairs."
"Are you sure?"
"Just get down here!" She shouted.
Her sister rushed to his sister and Rex. "Celkce what's wrong? Why are you..."
She quickly cut her sister off. "Sister, I need more help then you think. Help me get Rex on more stable ground."
The two took Rex from the cycle and laid him on the ground. "What's wrong, tell me." Celkce didn't raise her head, she trembled a bit as she tried to think of a way to tell her sister what she had just experienced.
"I don't want you to get rid of Rex, I love him!"
"Why would... Celkce tell me what happened why would we want to get rid of Rex. If anything we would get rid of Genbe before Rex."
"Just listen, please just listen first and then you'll understand." Celkce told her sister what she had witnessed and what 1 had told her.
Belsce sat quietly trying to come up with something to tell her sister. Nothing came to her, she looked back upstairs. "Jenhen, Genbe bring me some water I need it to help Rex."
"You got it like it honey!" Her husband called down.
"Celkce, I don't know what to tell you, it makes no senses. What I do know is that Rex wouldn't harm us. It also seems that he his some type of cure to this disease and I don't think it will harm us because of Rex. Right now, I think this is something that we should keep between ourselves, but if this disease becomes a epidemic then Rex could be the only hope we have. I still not sure what to think of this 1 business."
Belsce touched her sister's shoulder and gave her a light smile. "You care for him and right now we'll focus on getting him better and trying to stop these Night Terrors. That's what we'll tell Jenhen and Genbe had happen. OK?"
She nodded. "OK sister." They sound of trumping feet had them stop talking about any thing else.
"We brought the water, is Rex OK? Maybe we should bring him to a Professional Healer." Jenhen said to his wife.
"I'll see what I can do for him and if he needs it I'll bring him to one. The damage might be beyond what a physical person can do. May be..."
Genbe held a metal tube of water as he trumped down stairs. "Is he OK, I mean usually when he has these episodes he brings himself home."
"It was a real intense one this time." Celkce covered.
"Don't worry I'm sure he's fine," Jenhen placed a hand on Celkce's shoulder. "He's family."
"Right," She nodded. "We'll take care of him." Celkce watched as her sister went to work.
