AN: So I took this story where I told myself I wouldn't. the words just flowed as I typed. So hopefully its still a good fic! Let me get those reviews!

Cambree sat out side the bank in her black buick with her laptop sitting in her lap. She looked up to see John walking into the building and she knew it was soon going to be go time. Her first real heist. Even though they had brought her into the team last year, they hadn't pulled a heist yet. She wasn't to happy about sitting in the car while they had all the fun. But Gordon thought it would be best. Break her in easy.

"You locked and loaded?" Cambree heard some one ask in her ear.

"Ready when you are hot stuff." Cambree replied with a smile. She had been teasing A.J. for the past few weeks about him looking good in uniform. Cambree brought up the video feed of the bank cameras. So far everything was going smoothly. The men had all gotten off the elevators. She'd give them a few minutes to change before she checked in.

"stage two is a go." Cambree said. "twenty-two is clear."

"You don't stick around." Gordon said in her ear. "Once you see us enter you leave."

Cambree rolled her eyes. "Yes Papa G. I got it the first million times you told me. I got it."

She watched the boys get on the elevators and started her car engine. Once she saw the door reopen she shut the laptop and pulled away. It was taking everything she had to not open it back up and make sure her boys were safe. She drove home and flung herself on her bed. Now all she could do was wait for John to pull into the drive way. She knew she should have gone to the club to help Lili, but she wanted to see John first. Make sure that everything did indeed turn out well.

She heard the front door open and quickly got to her feet. She walked into the kitchen and froze. There stood two beautiful women. They were dressed to empress that was for sure.

"I thought it was just going to be the two of us." One of the girls said to the other. She had beautiful flawless dark skin and big playful brown eyes. The other girl had olive skin, a little shorter than the first but matched her in every aspect of beauty. "She's a kid."

"His maybe?" the second girl asked.

Cambree laughed. "No defiantly not his kid. Roommate actually. I'm Cambree."

"Riana." The first girl replied looking Cambree over.

"Kelly." The second girl replied. "He didn't say any thing about a roommate."

"That's because I'm not supposed to be here." Cambree said with a smile. "I'm sorry, if I knew you ladies were coming so early I would have been gone already."

"How old are you exactly?" Riana asked. "I don't want to sound rude, but your like what eighteen. And I'm guessing high here."

Cambree fought back the urge to snap at her but instead put on her best fake smile. "twenty-four actually. But thank you. I hope I age as well as you ladies. I'll be heading out now."

Cambree headed for the door as John entered. "Cambree? Your supposed to be helping Lili open the club."

"Yeah I know. Sorry." Cambree said walking past him. He grabbed her arm before she got too far and closed the door so the girls couldn't hear.

"If I knew you were here I wouldn't have had them meet me here so soon." John said looking down at the girl. A year had gone by and Cambree still had feelings for him. At first he tried to make her uncomfortable about it. bringing random ladies home from the club, having naked swim parties while she was trying to sleep. But in the end he realized it was just hurting her. But now he tried to be considerate.

"No, I knew better." Cambree said with a sad smile. "They are very beautiful."

John ran a hand down his face. "Don't do this Camy."

"I'll see you tomorrow." Cambree said kissing him on the cheek. "Have a great time. I promise I'm ok. Enjoy yourself. I'm sure Jesse and A.J. have something huge planned for tonight."

Cambree quickly got her arm free from his grasp and walked to her car. She was surprised to see he had followed her. "Seriously John, I'm fine."

"Your just as much or even more beautiful than the girls in there." John said placing a light kiss on her lips. "I wish you could see that."

"I see it John." Cambree said with a heavy sigh as she opened her car door. "I guess I just don't know what to do with it."

"Have fun tonight." John said with a big smile. "Enjoy a glorious victory. You deserve it just as much as the rest of us."

John walked back into the house and Cambree sighed heavily. The only person she wanted to enjoy the night with was walking back into the house to two beautiful women and she was getting into her car to go to work. It just didn't seem fair to her. she drove to the club not completely sure how she arrived there safely. She couldn't remember most of the drive. Her mind was on John and what he might be doing with the women. Most likely getting good use of his pool.

"There's our favorite girl." A.J. said when Cambree walked in. She smiled and took a seat next to him on the piano bench. He was an amazing piano player. She could get lost in the music her played. "We were getting worried about you."

Cambree took the cigarette out of his mouth and took a small drag, ashed it, then placed it back between his lips. She let out a small cough and shook her head. She then placed her head on his shoulder."Went home thinking I was going to have time to change. Then met Riana and Kelly. It was a blast let me tell you."

A.J. rested his cheek on her head. "I'm sorry hun."

Cambree didn't reply. She just listened to him play. Jake came down the stairs. He walked up to the piano and patted Cambree on the shoulder.

"Guessing you went home first?"

"Does every one know?" Cambree asked sadly. She got to her feet and walked up the stairs knowing Jesse would be up there counting money. She slightly noticed A.J. had switched songs. She sat down across from Jesse and sighed. "looks like we did pretty good."

"Biggest pay out yet." Jesse said with a smile. "A few marked bills. But so far not enough to make that big of a dent.

"You want any help?"

"Naw. Almost done." Jesse replied looking up at her. "You want to go get a bite after this? Just the two of us. Like old times. Back before we got into the crew."

Cambree gave him an odd look. They did do things together all the time. But he was right. Ever since she was let into the crew they usually were tagging along with the others. "Lets go see a movie or something. I haven't gone to a movie theater in years."

"It's a date." Jesse said with a smile. "We may invite A.J. but I doubt he'll tag along."

Cambree sat back in her chair with an accusing look on her face. "What's going on Jesse?"

He didn't have time to answer before Lili called up to her. Cambree looked over the railing to see Jake holding her from behind. She held her left hand up to show Cambree the beautiful diamond Jake had just placed there. Cambree couldn't help but smile.

"Its about time Jake." Cambree teased. "I'm so happy for you both."

Cambree turned and quickly sat back down. Now she knew why Jesse was so keen on getting her out of the club.

XOXOXOXOXOXO

Cambree groaned as she rolled over in bed. she sat up at once. She wasn't the only one in the bed. slowly she turned to see Jesse laying next to her. fully clothed and snoring. Cambree let out a relieved breath and slowly slid out of bed. she couldn't remember a lot of what had happened the night before. She knew She and Jesse had gone to the movies and out to eat after that. But after a few drinks back at the club, Cambree was drawing a blank.

"Good morning crazy." Jesse said as he stretched out in the bed. "You are never drinking again. ever."

"Oh god." Cambree said putting her face in her hands. "Do I want to know or should it be one of those don't remember didn't happen moments?"

"Oh I'm sure you'll be reminded all day." Jesse said with a laugh. "You were all over A.J."

Cambree groaned and let herself fall back on the bed. "What exactly do you mean by all over."

"Go ask him. He's in the living room on the couch." Jesse said with a yawn. Cambree looked at the clock and smirked. Eight in the morning. Cambree was going to be highly surprised if she found A.J. still on the couch.

She walked into the living room and sure enough no A.J. in sight. So she headed back down to the club. A.J. was back at the piano playing some slow jazz, cigarette burning in his mouth. The smoke giving him a slight mystic look.

"Should I say good morning or just hid my face in shame?" Cambree asked walking up behind A.J. he chuckled but didn't turn to face her. "Depends on what you remember."

"None of it." Cambree said. A.J. turned to face her and smirked. He clearly had a fat lip. "Oh god. Did I do that?"

"Nipped a little to hard." A.J. replied as he stopped playing. "There wasn't anything more than heavy kissing. Just like last time."

Cambree shook her head and sighed. "I've really got to get a hold of myself. Its not like this will be the last time something like this happens. Get my feelings hurt and I throw myself at the one guy he's always pushing me towards."

"Wow wait, John keeps pushing you at me?" A.J. asked sounding confused. "That makes no since."

"Back when you liked me. Before the first make out session." Cambree explained. "He used to tell me I'd do better to go after you. You were younger and would be better for me than he would be."

A.J. chuckled. "Well I'm sure by now he's waking up and seeing the pictured of us you kept sending him. I eventually had to take your phone away. Something about he said to enjoy myself and by god I'm going to."

Cambree groaned. "oh god. He's going to think I'm insane!"

"Cambree we all think your insane." Gordon said walking into the club hearing a little bit of the conversation. "You sent pictures to me too."

"I'm so sorry." Cambree said embarrassed. "If I ever drink again I'm not aloud to have a phone ever."

XOXOXOXOXO

John groaned and did his best not to throw his phone against the wall. It had been going off through out the entire night. Riana and Kelly were curled up on either side of him, naked and looking amazing. John some how got out of bed with out waking them and grabbed his phone. He wasn't surprised to see most of the messages were from Cambree.

He opened the first one and was very surprised at what he saw. She was sitting on A.J.'s lap, wearing his hat and A.J. was kissing her neck. The message underneath read : Enjoying life.

He didn't even look at the other pictures she had sent. There was no point knowing she was trying to get to him. The worst part was that it had. She was using A.J. to make him upset. And A.J. was falling right into it. the last thing any of them needed was for A.J. to get his heart broken because Cambree decided to make things complicated. His phone beeped and he glared down at the name who had sent him a message.

What ever you do do NOT open any pictures from me. I was drunk and don't remember. Wont happen again.

Riana slid down the bed and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "The kid still texting you? I figured she would have given up."

John glanced over at her. "She's not a kid. And she's actually a really close friend."

Riana gave him an odd look. "She looks like she could be your daughter. That's kinda gross."

"What's gross?" John asked feeling the anger well up inside his gut.

"I don't mean to sound rude." Riana said quickly. "I just took close friend as you guys have messed around."

John gave her a disgusted look. "I think its time for the two of you to go."

John waited till the girls were completely dressed and gone before he picked up his phone. He went threw his contacts and paused at one name. for minutes he just sat there looking at the name before he pushed send and put the phone to his ear.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Come over." John said then hung up the phone. That's all he had to say. He knew she would be there in seconds. So he sat in his room completely naked and waited. He looked down at his watch. Twenty minutes had gone by and she still wasn't there. He sighed and got to his feet. He slipped on some sweat pants and headed down stairs. There sitting at his kitchen table was Cambree. He didn't even hear her pull into the drive way.

"How did you get in here so quietly?" John asked confused.

"A.J. dropped me off before the meeting with Scott. That we are late for by the way." Cambree said with a smile.

"Shit. I completely forgot." John said as he walked up to her. Cambree put her hand on his chest before he could come any closer.

"Go get dressed." Cambree said pushing him away lightly so she could stand. "Or I'll call A.J. to have him come back and pick me up."

John eyes the girl. Something had changed with her over night. If he had walked up to her like he just had, she would have froze and just let him keep coming. He was starting to wonder what other photos she had sent him, and how far she and A.J. had gone this time. He didn't say anything just walked back up to his room and changed. When he came back down. Cambree had also changed into a blue button up dress with bubble sleeves and that stopped just above the knees. At her waist was a white belt. She looked so much older than she had a year ago. She seemed to practically grow up in front of him. No longer that young nieeve girl that dressed in nothing but clubbing dresses and tight jeans and shirts leaving practically nothing to the imagination. Now her wardrobe let his imagination do all the work.

"You ready slow poke?" Cambree teased. John once again walked up to her and she once again stopped him before he could invade her personal space. She smiled at him and reached up to his tie. "It's crooked."

She fixed it then patted his chest. "Let's get going."

John watched her walk to the door and patiently wait for him. When he just stood there she rolled her eyes. She walked back up to him, took his hand in hers and lead him to his car. they both got in and John drove off.

"What's up with you today?" John asked knowing she couldn't escape from his questions now.

"Lets not get into this." Cambree said with a smile as she placed a hand on his shoulder like she usually did when she rode with him. "We can talk about it later. Lets just enjoy this beautiful morning."

John gave her an odd look. "Since when have you ever believed mornings were beautiful?"

Cambree giggled. "Since today."

"Let me guess. A.J. has something to do with your good mood?" John growled. He didn't mean for it to sound so gruff.

Cambree took her hand off his shoulder and rolled her eyes. "Here we go again. for a year I've liked you and I hear nothing but oh no we cant, I'm no good for you. Your too young. Then A.J. gets brought up and you go into a jealous frenzy. Its getting old John."

"A.J. doesn't just get brought up." John said rolling his eyes. "Usually you are involved with him some how. Seems to me like your using him to try and get to me. And that bothers me because A.J. deserves better."

"A.J. and I have nothing to do with you!" Cambree demanded. "God I am so over this John. I don't want to talk any more. If you have nothing to say to me than how I must be using A.J. to piss you off then don't even say another word."

John sighed. "I'm sorry. I'll shut up."

"You're the one who called me remember." Cambree said mostly to herself but just loud enough for him to hear.

John kicked himself for even making that phone call. He knew she would read into it wrong. In reality he didn't want to be alone that morning. There was always one good thing about having Cambree around. She was good to talk too. When they pulled up to the docks Jake and A.J. were waiting on them. Cambree got out of the car with out a word to John and walked up to the two men. Jake grabbed her arm before she could walk past them and lifted her face to him.

"You're crying." Jake said then turned to John as A.J. took Cambree in his arms and lead her away. "Why is she crying John."

"I didn't know she was." John replied as he watched A.J. take Cambree over to G. G took one look at Cambree and brought her into a hug then glared down at him. "Damn it."

Jake shook his head and patted his friend's shoulder. "Maybe you two need some time apart. Bring Cambree over to the club after this. I'm sure she'd be fine with staying with Jesse."

"What happened between her and A.J. last night?" John asked and Jake shrugged.

"I don't know man. Lili and I went to bed early." Jake replied. "When I woke up A.J. was on the couch and Cambree was in Jesse's room. I didn't even know about the pictures till I heard G say she had sent one to him too."

"I have a whole inbox full that I haven't looked at yet." John said as the men started heading up to where the others were.

"Delete them man." Jake said shaking his head. "I know you better than you think. Delete them before you hurt that girl more."

John couldn't believe it. his friends seemed to be turning on him with this whole Cambree situation. The year before they had agreed with him. Yes they teased him about the girls crush but with in the last few months they all seem to think he was in the wrong. Maybe it was because they had all become very attached to Cambree, or maybe he really was handling this the wrong way.

Cambree was standing by A.J. looking out at the water. John walked up behind her and tugged on her sleeve. She didn't turn to face him but he knew she was listening. She was always listening. "We ok?"

Cambree shrugged in response. She wasn't in the mood to listen to his apologies. She looked up at A.J. and A.J. looked up at Gordon. Gordon nodded and A.J. handed Cambree his keys.

'Why don't you go ahead and head home. John….." Cambree glared at him. "I'll catch you up later tonight."

Cambree took the keys and walked away. John stood to follow her but Gordon stopped him. "Don't think this is the right time. She'll get over it. she always does."

"She's different this time round." A.J. admitted. John was glad he wasn't the only one who had noticed. "I cant quite put my finger on it, but she's not taking this the way she usually does. What happened after I dropped her off?"

John looked up at him and shrugged his shoulders. "Walked up to her and she told me I was going to be late and to go get dressed. So I did and she fixed my tie before we left. I don't know man. She'd been off all this morning. Even called it a beautiful morning."

"That is strange." Gordon agreed as Scott came up.

"Where's Cambree going in such a hurry?" Scott asked. "Thought she was going to join us today."

"She's not feeling good so we sent her home." Gordon replied. With out missing a beat Scott turned to John.

"She's not pregnant is she?"

"Why are you looking at me?" John asked and the rest of the men chuckled.
