"Okay, I thought your first encounter at the studio was great, but this is epic." Katherine chuckled.

"Well, it's the truth." Petunia said.

A day after Larry and Petunia looked for wedding gowns, tuxedos, etch., the girls were at Petunia's bachelorette party at a fancy restaurant. It was just them, talking, chatting and having a good time.

"I can't believe within the next two weeks we won't refer to you as Ms. Rhubarb anymore." Francesca sighed.

Petunia blushed. "Yeah, well, the wedding's coming soon. It felt like it was only yesterday since he proposed to me. Larry and I had a comfortable space since he proposed, but the butterflies-in-the-stomach tension is coming back because the wedding is coming real fast." Petunia fake laughed.

"Sweetie, don't be nervous. You'll be fine." Lovey assured.

"I know I will. I'm in good hands. It's just the pre-wedding jitters." Petunia explained.

"I also noticed you and Larry aren't really seeing each other this week." Madame Blue added.

The girls nodded their heads in agreement and gave a short comment about this to the person beside them. Petunia only laughed. The girls looked at her awkwardly. They loved Petunia for her laugh. But, sometimes, she laughs at the strangest moments.

"Sorry. Larry's thinking this as a movie. Unlike me, he doesn't like to be spoiled. So he's pretending as if this was a movie and when I'd see him too often, I'd spoil the movie. Katherine and Madame Blue can understand. He said he wanted to be surprised at the wedding." Petunia said.

"Larry's a hopeless romantic for you, isn't he?" Katherine swooned.

Petunia fell into silence for a moment, smiling heartwarmingly, her thoughts drifting to their memories. "Yeah, he is."

A cellphone suddenly beeped. All eyes turned to Petunia. She smiled guiltily and picked up her phone.

"Hello?" Petunia asked.

"Petunia? How are you?"

"Oh, hi, Larry. It's been a while since you called me." Petunia beamed.

"I know. I somehow regret waiting and I just wanted to see how you're doing."

"I'm perfectly fine. The girls are with me in the party."

"Oh! Did I disturb you?" Her fiancé worried.

"No, no! You called just in the nick of time." Petunia said as she looked to the girls, smiling at her.

"Well… It's nice talking to you." Larry sighed.

"Yeah, it was."

Petunia was about to hang up when Larry's voice spoke out again.

"Petunia, wait."

"What?"

"Do you want me and Bob to pick you girls up after the party? And that we can spend a little time together?" Larry suggested.

"I'd love that. I'll tell you when we're ready." Petunia replied.

"Great! Good-bye, Petunia." Larry perked up.

"See you, Larry."

Petunia put down her phone after setting it to silent mode to avoid the girls' staring at her teasingly again.

"So how's the guy?" Mom Asparagus asked.

"The poor thing missed me deeply. To be honest, I miss him, too." Petunia groaned.

"Of course, you do! You guys are getting married in two weeks! I know that you just can't wait to spend your life with him." Mrs. Rhubarb put in.

"You don't really have to say that, Mom. I believe she's already said that to herself." Katherine pointed out with a smile.

"So he'll pick us up at the end of the party?" Ma Grape made sure.

"Yup."

"Bob's been talking to me lately how gloomy Larry had been." Madame Blue informed.

Petunia quickly sat at the edge of her seat. "Oh no. Why?"

"Missing you, as usual."

"He sees me at least thrice a week. Does he really miss me that badly?"

"You know, Petunia, we won't mind if we went home by now." Esther shrugged.

The girls agreed. Petunia didn't want to ruin this party for her friends. After all, these were the last few weeks that she'd be only her. By the next two weeks, it'd be Larry and her… forever, as she always dreamt. She wasn't sure if the girls were really willing to give up the rest of the time of the party just so their friend could meet with her fiancé.

"I don't know. Maybe some of you, guys, would object." Petunia doubted.

Ellen stood up from her seat, her silverware clanging as she did. "No objections at all!"

"I'm in!" Ms. Achmetha sang.

"You guys are really in for this?" Petunia made sure.

"Of course!" The girls squealed.

"Okay… But Larry would be wondering why I ended the party two minutes after he called." Petunia giggled.

She dialed Larry's number and waited for him to respond. Around the third beep, Larry answered.

"Petunia?" Larry was shocked.

"Yeah, Larry, the girls decided that we're good and ready to go home." Petunia stated.

"Just two minutes? Boy! That was quick."

"Thanks for driving us home, Larry." Petunia acknowledged.

"It's the least I can do."

The two guys and the girls were riding on the Veggie Tales' van. Larry was driving, Petunia was at the passenger seat and Bob and the girls were behind them. Bob sat beside Madame Blue which wasn't a big surprise to Petunia. Katherine was beside her mother, talking to her quietly while her eyes were drooping by the minute with Francesca, who was joining Katherine for a sleepover at Katherine's house, doze off beside her. Ma Grape and Esther, her other best friend since Saint Nicholas, were right behind her. Lovey and Mrs. Asparagus shared their thoughts about their sons while Ms. Achmetha softly played her accordion which she, strangely, brings everywhere. Ellen was phoning her boyfriend about the party and greeting him good night. Since all the others were busy, the couple was left to talk to no one but each other.

"How's the party?" Larry asked.

"It was great. I told them how we originally met." Petunia remembered.

"I told the guys the same thing in our bachelor party. Most of them stayed silent until the waiter came with the entrees." Larry testified.

Petunia giggled… the same giggle she did when they were three years old. Man. That felt like centuries ago. In unison, Larry and Petunia breathed in and exhaled, feeling uncomfortable of the awkward silence.

"So how are you doing? By the next two weeks it's… you know," Petunia said.

"Honestly, I don't know." Larry shook his head quickly and looked at Petunia worriedly as if he made a mistake in saying that. "Don't get me wrong! I'm happy and excited marrying you and all, but… what if I can't take care of you?"

Petunia's worried look dropped to a frown. "Larry, you've taken care of me since we first met. I couldn't imagine that you wouldn't do the same in the future. You took care of me. You always have and you always will. If anyone should be worried, it would be me."

Larry's eyebrow rose. "You? Why you?"

"Because you are the one who always took care of me! You took care of me when I'm sad, sick or even if I'm just fine! I never took care of you. That's why I'm worried. I'm worried that if you needed me, I wouldn't know what to do."

Larry sympathized for her for a while. But he did know one thing.

"Petunia, you always knew what to do. When I doubt, you encourage me. When the production was hanging on a loose thread, you helped me. You even came to my house with a jar full of cookies one time even if I had the flu!"

Petunia looked at Larry with wonder.

"Petunia, you never knew it, but you've taken care of me every single day. Yes, you needed help, but you helped a lot, too."

"How?"

Larry looked at her heartwarmingly and smiled. "Every single time you waltz inside the studio, I knew God had something planned for me. And because of that, I have at least one reason to smile every day at work."

Petunia blushed. She simply didn't know what to say. Larry lived in pursuit of spreading God's word, glorifying Him, raising kids to be modeled citizens… and for taking care of a lost girl to pull her up to be the woman she was right now.

"Our parents meant to say something the day we met. They just can't say it." Petunia reminisced.

"I believe God had already said it."

And the two looked at each other and agreed with a grin. God gave the one for the other because they needed each other. Not one of them can stand alone.

I know I promised to update this sooner, but I didn't! I'm very, very sorry for the delay, guys. I made it up by posting three new chapters on this story. I don't know when the last two-three chapters will be released, but we're almost there! :)

Note to some people who complained about Behind the Scenes' Esther and bankruptcy stuff, I typed it right there in the summary: I made some parts up. My stories in that story aren't that accurate and precise to the actual Veggie Tales happenings. Just wanted to clear that up.

And to those who asked for a sequel of Big River Rescue, Pistachio, etc., I can't really think of a sequel of it. I put lessons in my stories and, frankly, my imagination can't form a sequel to those stories. Maybe you can make it. I'm sure your imagination is vast in making those. I'm having a lot of writer's block at the moment so, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

Another FYI, this is the kind-of, sort-of continuation since they had the bachelorette party a day after the fitting.

Anyways... leave a review! ;)
